The tasting for my wedding cake went above and beyond my expectations. The display was absolutely beautiful, by far the most impressive of all the bakers I’ve tried. Each flavor came as its own mini, individually wrapped cake, and they were not only larger and more elegant than the other tastings I’ve had, but also incredibly delicious.
Pick-up was simple and seamless, and she made the entire process so easy. She listened to everything I wanted and helped customize the cake exactly to my vision. Even though we haven’t had the wedding yet, I already feel so confident in her work. I’m truly excited to see (and taste!) the final cake on our big day.

Chef Marian absolutely outdid herself for my sister’s 31st birthday. Not only was the cake a delicious masterpiece, but the details made it unforgettable — from the flawless piping to the delicate bows and the customized acrylic sign that gave it the perfect finishing touch.
The cake wasn’t just dessert, it was décor — the centerpiece of the celebration. Everyone kept asking where it came from, and my sister was beyond thrilled.

She has excellent communication skills through the entire order and her professionalism on short notice was something that can be admired. We cannot thank to Chef Marian enough for the incredible desserts at our wedding!
From the moment we first met, she understood our vision and went above and beyond to bring it to life. I had specific request regarding the set up of the dessert table such as clear/glass containers. Every dessert was beautifully crafted, reflecting both elegance and artistry, and tasted as wonderful as it looked.
We did a dessert tasting and OMG - That was a beautiful activity to do as a couple. We received a load of dessert examples, and it was so hard to pick as there was an explosion of flavors. — Each bite was heavenly! We remember that we had forgotten to select couple chocolate truffles options during the dessert tasting, and Chef Mariam was so nice to make the deliver personally to our home the next day ( we added in our wedding options the chocolates truffles/Jazmin)
Our options were: creme brulee; chocolate truffle; mousse shooter; cheese flan
mini cheesecakes Mango/strawberry; mini pies; fruit tart and eclairs
The planning process was seamless thanks to Chef Marian professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for making our day perfect.

By far one of the best cakes I have ever had in my life. All the guests at my wedding raved about this cake. It didn’t taste like one of those fake cakes and actually tasted delicious! So happy how it turned out! Chef Marian is a phenomenal baker and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of my cake. She turned my vision into reality and couldn’t have asked for more! It was so beautiful! The cake was much more reasonable than any other cake business I could find! Thank you sooo much chef for your talented work! I would recommend you 1000 times over if I could!!💕 (the hotel had brought it out alittle early and it was hot so it melted alittle in the picture but I promise it was absolutely gorgeous!) It was the first time a customer had taken a cake and their destination was 3 hours away, which had me a little curious about how the buttercream behaved. Great Experience
If I could give her 100 stars I would. I planned a wedding from out of state which was very hard. Chef Marion was very patient with including random texts with questions and changes at crazy hours due to the time difference, but she was always nice. Her communication and customer service was amazing. My wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL it was just like the picture I found on google! The flavor I got was wedding cake, which I did not know was a flavor, lol. It was very good and super moist. I had put some up for myself for after the reception but people asked the next day was any left. I would refer Chef Marion a million times over.Chef Marian's reply:

Before I get to the core of my review, I can describe Chez Marian with the following words: professional, punctual, honest, creative, hardworking, a great communicator, social media savvy, advanced thinking, related, charismatic, caring, loving…I could go on and on…Honestly, we believe she is the best out there in the market!
Some people sees a wedding cake as just something to have at their wedding, but in our case we had a story to tell. We wanted one of a kind of cake. We had a clear vision in our head, and we wanted a true artist that could bring it to life! We spent over 8 months searching for our true talent artist, and that’s where Chez Marian came along! From day one, talking to her felt so easy! As we were explaining our visions, she was finishing our sentences! Plus, she is a visionary that thinks outside of the box! She is constantly evolving and keeping up with new concepts and ideas while she maintains the traditional core of baking! Take a look at our cake to see what we are talking about.
Our cake symbolized our journey through life as a couple.
To truly explain it, we have to start with the bottom tier:
As a young woman, I was very selective about the man that I will give my heart to, and spend the rest of my life with. Needless to say, I put my husband through a lot before I could even agree to go on a first date with him. However, he is my soulmate as he never gave up. Marian exhibited that very well by using each stair to show his quest in corting me.
The second tier exemplified our struggles and rewards through the course of our marriage. The circle symbolized life, and no matter what we were going through we were always in it! We have been going at this for 25 years, and we just keep getting stronger and closer! Moreover, It still feels like the day that we met.
The top tier illustrated how our vows was tested. Most people say they wedding vows not realizing some of the things we are saying may come sooner than later, and life can throw curve balls at us…During the course of our marriage, I suffered from a terminal disease. I was in a coma for 11 days, but my husband never left my bed side. He became my nurse; my private chauffeur; he was my everything! To summarize, my guardian angel! As you can see on the cake, my life was literally hanging by one thread, but my husband kept holding on to me even if he ran into the risk on being pulled on the other side. Once again Marian found a great creative way to bring our story to life. We will forever be grateful to her. We even called her Pablo Picasso with an oven and a pan She not just Chez Marian to us! The many delicious options made it difficult to decide witch favor to pick
Chef Marian deliver a piece of art. She did not stop trying to make the flowers I requested. I wanted cherry blossom flower on the cake , and after many trials, she deliver exactly that, so perfect that they looked real. I gave her freedom to modify the cake I choose and make it her gown

I have nothing but positive things to say about Chef Marian! Our white chocolate raspberry cake that she made for our intimate wedding reception was absolutely gorgeous and DELICIOUS. All of our guests were raving about how amazing it was!
I was planning our wedding from Spain, so finding vendors that were responsive via email was very important to me. Chef Marian was always very quick to reply, and even when our plan to bring a cake stand failed the night before the event (which was at lunchtime the next day), she quickly replied and provided us a cake stand for the next day. 100% would recommend Chef Marian to anyone. I would plan another event in Miami just to have an excuse to hire her again. Thank you for everything!

Cake was unreal and Chef Marian is absolutely phenomenal!
I cannot say enough positive things about Chef Marian! She is absolutely one-of-a-kind and I cannot wait until the next event we have so we can order more desserts/cakes!
I found Chef Marian on weddingwire 2-3 weeks before our wedding! Originally, I had planned to have a friend's mother make our cake; however, with our date change due to COVID this was no longer possible. Chef Marian, IMMEDIATELY responded to my call the evening I reached out and told me about her prices and described her process in detail. She sent we the cake flavors and options right away and was extremely responsive, flexible and helpful. Because of Chef Marian's timeliness and professionalism, we were able to do a cake tasting DAYS after finding her :) and because we live minutes away from where she works she actually dropped off our cake slices to our door! They were perfectly packaged and truly THE BEST CAKES we have ever tasted. She provided a beautiful menu, that we have actually included in our wedding photo album. We ended up going with the cappuccino flavor (if you are a coffee and Kahlua lover, this is really unlike anything! Not only did Chef Marian make a delicious cake, she helped me with choosing a cake stand and made the design of our cake EXACTLY like the one I had found online. After the cake stand I ordered was delivered, Chef Marian picked it up from our home and took care of the rest to get the cake to our venue! Marian is AMAZING! Her sweets are delicious and beautiful. She is also very sweet, kind, responsive and professional (surprisingly rare in Miami based on my experience...). I couldn't go to the tasting due to not being able to travel from New York yet, and Marian was kind and patient enough to host my maid of honor, sister and two other family members to do the tasting on our behalf and ask tons of questions for us.
We're so happy we found Marian, and look forward to working with her on our wedding day. We hired her for our sweets and setting up/decorating our dessert station (which is a huge relief for us because I had such a hard time finding a baker who could fully take care of the dessert table at a reasonable price). Can't wait for our guests to enjoy her desserts and also to show off her beautiful work our our dessert table! -

Marian has been my Pastry Chef of choice for the past 4 years and I have never met such a dedicated, reliable, talented pastry chef. Marian loves what she does and it shows in her lovely pastries. I have seen Marian bring many bride's to happy tears with her masterpieces. One of the most important items in a wedding is the Wedding Cake and knowing this Marian puts her heart and soul into each one. Chef Marian cancelled my dessert order on the day of my wedding, saying that she was sick and could not complete my order. I had been in contact with her all week and she made me believe that she was working on my order. She was extremely unprofessional. I would have preferred that she cancel the order a couple of days ahead, or that she had someone in her staff deliver whatever desserts were already done - which leads me to believe she had no intention of completing my order. Hiring this vendor will only add unnecessary stress to your special day. Go with a more established and reliable business. -

The fact that I have to leave even one star is upsetting. We booked Chef Marian in October for a February wedding. THE CAKE WAS NOT DELIVERED and no phone calls or messages were answered the day of the wedding and we paid in full. After my planner was not able to get a hold of her to confirm delivery after reaching out several times, I finally spoke with her the week of the wedding and she assured me that she was working on the cake and that it would be delivered at 5 PM the day of the wedding. After she spoke with me, she then confirmed delivery with my planner. Had she or anyone else from her team communicated with us leading up to the wedding or answered the calls and messages on the day of the wedding, we could have made other arrangements. The amount of time and stress spent calling the day of the wedding is time and energy that we will not get back. Also, we have a Spanish tradition of cutting the wedding cake with a family sword, which we were unable to take part in. She returned the money we paid, but this is not the way to run a business in this industry. She still has not called me or even sent me an email or text message to personally apologize.Chef Marian's reply:

We apologize for not having answered before but for real health reasons the chef has been forced to take a period of disability. It has been a very difficult and sad situation for both you and us. we are devastated and trying to recover from this involuntary situation. For this reason, we will be closed until the chef recovers and we have strategies for emergencies. We will be recruiting more talents and new management. Once again apologies and the money has already been returned 100%.
