I hired Sarah to plan a joint 80th birthday party for my parents, and I can't express enough how special she made the event. Chicago is a meaningful place for my family - and Sarah helped us appreciate the city even more by suggesting classic experiences for my parents' guests like the architecture boat tour and a game at Wrigley field. But more than that, Sarah helped me think of thoughtful touches that would not only celebrate my parents' birthdays, but also their lives, their marriage and their friendships. She went above and beyond the call of duty, especially when you consider that I currently live in London, so we were doing a lot of the planning remotely! My family has high expectations and everyone has an opinion on how things should be done, and Sarah breezed through by meeting, and exceeding those expectations. If you hire Sarah, you'll end up with a capable, steady and fun pair of hands. She'll think of things you hadn't thought of, add extra touches to make your event unforgettable, and somehow she'll manage to do it all with a smile on her face and lightness in her heart. She left my family and friends with a sense of togetherness and joy we will never forget, and helped my parents celebrate their lives in the most special way. Hire her IMMEDIATELY! -

I can't say enough about the positive experience we had working with Sarah at Cheers Chicago. This was a destination wedding for many of us and as the MOB I was concerned I wouldn't be able to pull it off. Sarah had coordinated 2 other family weddings so I decided to give her a chance. Best decision we made. Every detail was attended to and the entire affair was a success. Can't recommend Cheers Chicago enough!! -

Sarah wasn’t just our wedding planner—she felt like a friend who had our backs throughout the whole process. From day one, she listened to what Tim and I wanted and was quick to make suggestions, hear suggestions, and get to work making anything and everything happen!
Every email, every meeting, every little “I’ve got this” text—it all felt so thoughtful and personal. She made everything easy when it felt overwhelming, and her attention to detail? Unreal.
But, what I loved most was that she cared about more than just the logistics. She wanted us to enjoy the process, soak it all in, and fully focus on our day without worrying about a single thing. And thanks to her, we absolutely did. I can’t imagine getting through this without her.
If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, creative, and just an all-around amazing human, Sarah is your person! -

Couldn’t Ask For Better
Sarah is the complete package and I couldn’t suggest anyone more. Relatable. Responsive. Personal. Professional. Kind. When any road blocks arose, she’d just make a call and it was either fixed or we had two workarounds. The extra mile is her baseline.
We hired her for planning, and day of coordination, and we wouldn’t have stood a chance without. (I may have lost my bow tie right before the first look and she came swooping in with the save just in time)
The vendors clearly liked working with her as well which led to our big day going off without a single issue.

Above and beyond!
Sarah went above and beyond in every aspect of wedding planning. I wasn't planning to hire a wedding planner (just a day-of coordinator) but she was highly recommended to me by a friend, so I scheduled an initial call. From that first interaction, I knew I had to book Sarah. She was so genuine and easy-going on the call, but I could also tell that she was beyond organized and a total boss - in the best way! Every interaction from that point, felt like I was working with an old friend or sister. She sends monthly to-do's to keep things on track, and follows up with vendors to ensure everything is going as planned. She struck the perfect balance of involving me on every important decision while also taking care of the minutiae behind the scenes. She was my biggest advocate with vendors and was always available to talk out the pros/cons for various decisions. Sarah is truly gold and an absolute necessity if you're planning a Chicagoland (or beyond) wedding. -

From the second I hopped on the phone to "meet" Sarah, I knew we had to book her. She was real, friendly, and very knowledgeable- I felt like I was chatting with an old friend. We got married in Galena, IL and she just so happens to have a family home there and visits often, making her a wealth of knowledge when it came to the area, places to stay, etc. Sarah covered so many details that I wouldn't have even thought of throughout the planning process. She was organized & professional- nothing seeped through the cracks. She also is great at handling those tough family members. ;) My husband said she was our BEST investment among all the vendors we chose. Sarah & I clicked, and I felt like I made a lifelong friend. Our day ran smoothly and I was able to relax and enjoy that I was marrying the love of my life. Do not hesitate to book Sarah- you will NOT be disappointed! -

Where do we even start with how wonderful Sarah was to work with?! She made planning a wedding during a pandemic a breeze. My husband and I, and our families were able to truly be guests on our wedding day, and not stress about the details due to our trust in Sarah-this is priceless. She is so passionate and talented at what she does. She knows all the questions to ask vendors that you never would have even thought of. She is also just great to be around and always is good vibes all along the way. She helped find, vet, and narrow down the vendor selection process to make is way less overwhelming, and she was always there when you needed her!

There are no words to describe how incredible Sarah is and how thankful we are to have hired her to coordinate our wedding. She made sure every single tiny detail was thought of during planning and never once did I feel overwhelmed or anxious during this process knowing we had her. The entire day went off without ONE single misstep thanks to her organization! We had a flower snafu about 4 weeks out and she did not miss a beat and found an incredible replacement florist for us, delivering above and beyond her job expectations and making us feel at ease knowing it was handled. -

Of the many decisions my wife and I made in bringing our wedding day to life, hiring 'Cheers! Chicago' was the best of all of them. Sarah Deeke is as incredible as they come. We could not have asked for a more diligent, attentive, or hardworking planner - Sarah was on top of every single detail from start to finish. Sarah went above and beyond in every aspect of the planning process to managing the logistics day-of. We even had a last-minute emergency with one of our most important vendors, but Sarah stepped in and saved the day. Sarah took the job as seriously as if she were planning and managing her own or her daughter's wedding; she was fully invested every step of the way.
Beyond Sarah's unbeatable execution of the professional aspects of the job, she's just as great of a person. Not only did Sarah take the stress out of our wedding planning by quarterbacking the entire process, she's also a genuinely kind, selfless, and an amazingly goodhearted person.
I can't put into words how grateful my wife, my family and I are for Sarah and her efforts. And even though we didn't know Sarah before we started wedding planning (we were introduced to her by a colleague who recently got married), we're also grateful to have made such a great friend through this entire experience.

Where to start! We cannot thank Sarah enough for all she did to make our wedding day and entire planning process (which ended up being 2+ years!) so seamless. She is AMAZING and the day would not have been the same without her. She made sure every detail big and small was taken care of so that we were able to relax and fully enjoy the day. She was there to help with anything and everything, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was extremely responsive and managed our vendor team to ensure our vision was carried out perfectly. We truly cannot thank her enough!! I can't recommend Cheers Chicago enough! Seriously couldn't have gone through the wedding process without Sarah. My sister used Cheers Chicago so I knew I needed to have Sarah by my side right after I got engaged. Things were going smoothly until COVID hit and Sarah was an absolute savior when we decided to push back our May 2021 wedding to May 2022. She went above and beyond to help me through me through this stressful process and all the rescheduling coordination. The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect and everything went so smoothly. Couldn't have done it without Cheers Chicago!!

Sarah's services were gifted to us by my godmother when we decided to have our wedding at home. Before she was gifted to us, we truly thought we would be able to plan the wedding on our own. What hilarious hubris.
Sarah is everything that you need her to be. She's calm, cool, and collected. She's handling the issue before you even knew there was an issue. And she's planning all the little things that you're convinced won't be an issue, but because she's a professional, she knows will become an issue. Then, when those come up, she's handled them before you become aware of them. Sarah is the MVP.
I cannot rave about her enough. Aside from coordinating our beautiful wedding (which went off without a hitch and was beautiful), she was my personal biggest cheerleader. Sarah was rooting me on when I took the Bar Exam, and structured her timeline to give me space while I was studying! She's so professional but is definitely a friend by the end of the whole experience. I cannot imagine attempting to navigate our wedding without her. Book her now! -

Hi. I'm a wedding vendor. I'm a photographer. I've done a ton of weddings, been in a ton of weddings, I was, like, I got this, I don't need a wedding planner. I've seen how the sausage is made. All weddings have 4 ingredients: ceremony, food, booze, music. The end.
And then my best friend called and said, "you don't need to write, produce, star in, and stage manage your day, please call Sarah."
YOU GUYS.
Best decision I ever made, second only to my husband.
Turns out I didn't even know what I didn't know. Sarah is so, so good at what she does. She managed all my vendors for me so I wasn't getting texts day of my wedding that someone couldn't find parking, she sourced all my decor for me when my florist ended up being double booked with 2 other weddings on the new date (and third time we moved our wedding because, pandemic) with the help of the other person you should hire, Alyssa of Lyssco designs. She offered to have the unpleasant conversations on my behalf, she last minute took on booking and organizing the rapid testing service we decided to do last minute so we didn't become a super-spreader event. (Emily Post says it's real bad form to kill 30% of your wedding guests turns out). She ran the photo call like a boss. My photographer was go grateful (you should hire her too, Noelle Adams - seriously, don't hire me, hire her) At the end of the night, she gathered up and packaged up everything and DELIVERED it to my house. I was like, can I hire you to project manage my life????
So smart, so knowledgeable, so competent, so delightful, so professional, such a good human.
The best wedding gift you can give yourself is giving yourself the day off the day of your wedding.
Also, Sarah, if you're reading this, please be my best friend, you are beyond awesome. -

She is not only a wedding planner, she is a friend, a listener, an over achiever, a shoot past the stars to another galaxy type of planner. Sarah was a dream to work with. We were on the fence with hiring a planner because we had such a small wedding (under 100 people), but I couldn't have done it without her. I joke all the time that for the 9 months I spent planning our wedding, Sarah and I talked more on a daily basis than my now husband and I did! She's extremely responsive - I don't think I ever followed up on something or asked for an update, it was done within a matter of hours/days. She truly loves what she does, and you can definitely see that in her work. We could never thank for her enough for everything she did for us, and I will always recommend her to everyone I know because of that. -

Where do I even begin....Sarah is without a doubt the best and our wedding day was completely stress free because of her and her team. The master timeline she created was seamless and her coordination provided a smooth and relaxing day. Prior to the big day Sarah was available through phone and in-person meetings to work with myself and my husband to answer all questions and create the master timeline. She not only coordinated this timeline with all the vendors she advocates on behalf’s of her couples ensuring they only receive the best. There was a hiccup with our transportation at the end of the night back to the hotel and she went above and beyond to ensure our guests got back to the hotel safely. I could go on and on about how wonderful Sarah is but bottom line she was the best and provided my husband and I the guidance and coordination of our most perfect day. -

I don't even know where to begin with Sarah. Right from the beginning, Sarah had my best interests at heart. She was my number one advocate and teammate.
