My daughter had a 36-person brunch wedding on the beach at Cheeca on August 8th, 2023. To say it was the most beautiful venue is an understatement. She got married on the beach between the new and old building (4 palms) and then had a tent set up on Pioneer Beach. The photo opps were endless with their gorgeous grounds.
Allison and Jo were amazing to work with and helped with all the little details such as guest rooms, menu and putting their best people on the event - Gene was also an amazing bartender!
The Cheeca worked directly with our wedding coordinator so every detail was covered and we could just enjoy our time. We could not be happier with how things turned out and would highly recommend this team and location! Thank you!!!! -

We loved our intimate wedding at Cheeca! The location on the beach was beautiful and the staff was great, especially Irena! The food was delicious at dinner and brunch-we got tons of compliments from guests staying at the resort for their overall experience. The location is really beautiful for photos!! -

Our wedding planner actually brought Cheeca Lodge to our attention after we discussed a vision of a private beachfront wedding. After visiting the property, I knew it was going to be the most perfect place. Emily Kirk was wonderful to work with and the property was incredibly accommodating to us throughout the entire process. Our wedding ceremony was in front of the beautiful beachfront Casitas and our reception was on Spa Island. I highly recommend Cheeca as a wedding venue or even just a beautiful place to vacation! -

Amanda Sent on 06/11/2018All I can say is WOW. I attended a wedding this past weekend here and it was truly a magical experience. I have never been somewhere so beautiful and relaxing in my life! My fiancé and I had never been to Islamorada so we weren't sure what to expect but this blew our expectations out of the water. Upon checking in we were unfortunately given the wrong room that was originally booked. After letting the staff know this they went above and beyond on accommodating us. Giving us free meals and drinks as well as discounts on our room which was so unexpected. The staff here are very accommodating and professional especially Jean Chery. I would definitely consider the Cheeca Lodge a top venue to hold your wedding! Allison from The Golden Pineapple Event Company did an amazing job coordinating the wedding with Checca Lodge. With this being the first wedding I have ever been in I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of ANYTHING lol but Allison had everything planned to a t. Making sure everyone was OK, even fed and hydrated. I had such an amazing experience at the Check Lodge. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our experience so much we will definitely be back again!

User1782710 Sent on 08/26/2014When I started planning my small destination wedding, I was drawn to Cheeca Lodge because it was absolutely gorgeous. In the end, I don't think we saved any money by doing the small destination wedding but we got a great family vacation and the best wedding ever! The wedding coordinator for Cheeca, Annaleigh, was absolutely wonderful. I met her once and the rest of our communication was mostly through email. She helped me and my dad (who was just as involved as I was) with any question we ever had. She made me feel so special, emailed back quickly, and set my mind at ease when I was feeling stressed. The day of the wedding was perfect, she was around the whole day and literally my wedding was everything I could imagine and more. The referrals she gives for hair, flowers, cake, music were all excellent as well. Cheeca was a beautiful place to get married, if you're big into pictures like I was you will not find a better place for your wedding pictures! We got married right on the sand and had our reception inside (due to rain) and it was great. The food was excellent and the staff were all so friendly. Definitely recommend Cheeca Lodge to anyone looking for a place to get married in the Keys! -

The wedding location was beautiful, the staff was superbly accommodating, our room and the resort was immaculate, and the food was delicious. Annaleigh, in their catering department, was organized, gracious, helpful and professional. Whatever we asked for, she was more than obliging. We had decided to get married 3 weeks before the date. With the help of Annaleigh, I was able to plan the entire wedding (complete with wedding site, food services, officiant, photographer, hair/nails, spa treatments and floral services) within ONE week!! I did not stress about a single thing! We had never been to Cheeca Lodge before and heard good things from everyone (including from vendors not associated with Cheeca) so our expectations were high. The moment we stepped out of the car we were greeted by a friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and relaxed environment. We ate at the restaurants every day during our stay and had great experiences with both staff or food. I also enjoyed the gym, spa and spa pool during our stay. All were clean, quiet, modern and well maintained. The spa experience was simply delightful. We had never been to Cheeca Lodge before our special day, but we will definitely return the next time we stay in Islamorada. I would highly recommend this location for anyone planning a wedding (big or small), or other special event, in The Florida Keys. -

Christie Sent on 01/20/2014My husband and I have been coming to Cheeca Lodge for years and it is absolutely our favorite place to vacation - which is why when choosing locations for our wedding, it was an easy choice!
We held a 4 day destination wedding with our guests coming in from all over the country (even a few internationally) and we needed a place that seamlessly handled lots of moving parts as the home base :) We did not have the ceremony or reception at Cheeca in order to break up the location of events but everything else was done there. 100+ guests in from out of town with many requests and activities went off without any hitches - which I felt impossible!
Aside from the beauty and uniqueness of Cheeca, the reason our wedding weekend went flawlessly was due to the events manager, Annaleigh Jaildalgian - she is PHENOMENAL! I cannot even begin to put into words how wonderful, professional, sweet, precise, and thoughtful she is - the best.
From constant changes with room blocks, the menu, cocktail reception, etc etc etc, Annaleigh handled everything with poise, speed and calmness - exactly what a bride needs :) She made us feel like the ultimate VIP guests taking care of us at every moment, sending us notes and champagne, and checking in throughout our entire stay. People are still thanking us for having our wedding there, and I know all of my guests will be vacationing at Cheeca in the future!
I would highly recommend using Cheeca Lodge for your wedding events, it truly is an incredibly special place that no one will ever forget. -

The views were unbelievable and everyone who worked at the Cheeca was so nice and really made sure our day was perfect. Our wedding coordinator took excellent care of us and met our every need with enthusiasm and willingness! The Cheeca is a beautiful venue for weddings and vacationing!

Upon our 1st ever arrival at Cheeca we were amazed at the beautiful grounds and gorgeous architecture of the building. We walked in and were awe struck by the beauty of the main lodge. When we decided to get married last year we went to Cheeca and got engaged on the beautiful pier. Annaleigh Jaildagian was our coordinator & I can not begin to say enough good things about this GEM...I am a HUGE fan!!!
Annaleigh was able to explain things clearly and precisely, she was very detail oriented and not only did she do her job with the utmost professionalism, she obviously also handles her clients (or at least me) with warmth and care. She went above and beyond to hit on every point, answer every question, and just make me feel like I was the only client/bride that mattered. She is a true treasure and by far an amazing asset to the Cheeca team. Our wedding went beautifully and all of our guests enjoyed the event as well as the entire Cheeca experience tremendously. The staff in general were fantastic...as we always know and expect. So happy with all of it!
