    Gorgeous hall and amazing customer service

    My wedding WAS fabulous and EXACTLY how I imagined it from the day I booked this venue. Chateau Ritz is only 2mins away from my house but I never stepped in thinking that the hall might be too small to host 500 people wedding since it doesn't look that big from the outside. However, I am so glad that one day I decided to call and speak to them and it turns out that they have a space for about 800 people. I initially worked with Jim and then with Mike since Jim went on vacation. My experience was super pleasant! I called Mike probably million times to confirm every minor thing or request a change and EACH time he was super patient with me and accommodated everything I needed. On the day of the event, he was running around and available to ensure that every detail we requested was fulfilled. The hall is gorgeous itself and doesn't need additional words but customer service is something that was very difficult to find when it comes to venues. I had my food catered outside due to religious reasons but they offer in-house catering too so definitely a plus for many people. I also used an outside decorator for the stage and tables, but their in-house decorator Jessica is also a sweet person to work with. She will try her best to work with your budget and give you the best. I definitely would be recommending Chateau Ritz to ALL the South Asians for their wedding! Thank you sooo much, Mike and Ritz team for such amazing customer service and a memorable event for my husband and me.

    This Banquet Hall is pretty and great food. They were friendly and helpful and made it easy. Highly recommend.

    Class. Style. Perfection. - They're AMAZING!

    My husband and I celebrated our wedding reception at Chateau Ritz on Saturday, 9/28, and everything ran so smoothly and with such grace, you can tell they are pros! Thank you to your team for being so accommodating and allowing us to bring in touches of home that made the day complete. Special thanks to Jim and Mike, who were both such a pleasure to work with and who ensured that all of our hopes for the day were met. Chateau is an unbelievably beautiful venue, but what really made it perfect for us was how personable the whole team was. We were so nervous that we wouldn’t be able to find a place in Chicago that would work for us, but you all more than fulfilled any expectations we could have had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    I would give Chateau Ritz 100 stars if I could...After switching banquet halls, THE WEEK OF OUR PLANNED WEDDING, Chateau Ritz came in for the rescue! Mike, who helped us with everything, was our lifesaver, savior, angel in disguise. Through every detail, he guided us and helped us throw a wedding that we will never forget. We will never ever forget the care that was put into ensuring that we were happy. Believe me not, he made us even more than happy! On top of the genuine care, Chateau Ritz is the most beautiful banquet hall that you will ever see. EVERYTHING is stunning, from the first entrance in the lobby to the actual hall. The chandeliers are absolutely breathtaking, jaw-dropping, a magical sight to see. Chateau, you will hold a dear place in my heart and I will never stop bragging about how you made my wedding absolutely perfect. You are magnificently beautiful, and the owners behind you are even more beautiful. I will tell all family, friends, random strangers, that if they don't have their wedding/event at Chateau Ritz they are absolutely crazy.     Excellent Venue!! SO happy with my wedding!!


    We are very pleased after having our wedding at the Chateau Ritz in September of this year! Mike and the rest of the crew were very helpful with our wedding planning process. We had to do most of our wedding planning long distance and they were nothing but accommodating. We even had a last minute issue and they were there to take care of it so I wouldn’t have to be stressed out days before my wedding. The food was excellent and the wedding day itself was perfect! The venue is so beautiful! Thank you to all of the staff who helped us make our wedding dreams come true !!

    Our wedding is in October 2016, but so far, our experience has been great. They are very timely, professional, and everything seems to be a great value. The hall has been recently renovated and the rooms are gorgeous, especially the chandeliers. I love that the venue is so beautiful, that we do not need to put a lot of money into decorating (draping, lighting, etc.). We have been working with Claudia and Jim, who are so helpful. They worked with our budget and guest count. My fiance and I have put down our deposit and are excited to work with them on the rest of it!

    The best decision I made. My husband and I had our wedding 10/15/16 and from beginning to end they were all helpful and worked with me, no matter how many times I emailed them.

    The food was delicious and I hot tons of compliments. You really get a great deal with what it comes with. I had some DIYs and I gave them pics how it should be set up and they did a perfect job. I just can not express how thankful I am that we went w Chateau Ritz.

    We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and couldn't have asked for anything better. The staff there kept us informed of things we needed to do and get done or paid for. They were flexible on payments and days/times to come in and taste the food and choose the menu. The day of the wedding they checked on us several times to make sure everyone was having a great time and that we got enough food. The top shelf open bar was a plus and the cake included. For everything we got for the price - I'd recommend this to anyone! Thanks Chateau Ritz!

    SIMPLY AMAZING!!! Everyone is amazing here! I had my wedding reception at Chateau Ritz in May 2015 and everything was perfect! I booked a year in advanced and from the moment I walked in, I knew this was the place! I felt so much at home and very comfortable here. Mike helped us from the start, but everyone there is very helpful and amazing.

    They are organized, professional, and respectful of your dreams and desires. I highly recommend them!

    We received nothing but GREAT compliments from all our guests on how beautiful the place was and how everything turned out perfect! Not one bad comment! Food was great, lighting was great, staff amazing.... I can go on and on... But everything about this place and the staff was amazing. Thank you chateau ritz, mike and jimmy for making our wedding day simply the best!

    My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Chateau Ritz. We went to see it initially because my parents had their wedding reception there back in 1983. Also, they were very reasonably-priced. We were so incredibly happy with how much the Chateau Ritz helped make our wedding day a success. Mike, a rep. who we worked with, was helpful, professional and personable. He was patient and very detail-oriented. You can tell his knowledge and experience right upon meeting him. Everything was beautifully set-up upon us arriving for cocktail hour. The food was hot and delicious. We got a lot of compliments on the venue. I would highly recommend using the Chateau Ritz for a wedding reception!

    If I could give 6 stars or more I would! Chateau Ritz has surpasses any expectation I had for a wedding reception venue. From the beginning they made me feel comfortable and like family. Any concern or worry I had, they were very reassuring. They are one of the most reasonably priced in the area. You get so much food and amenities for your money! Most venues try to nickel and dime you for any additional request, but not Chateau Ritz. The staff is genuine and truly cares about making your day special. They would quickly respond to my many questions I had throughout the process. The hall is absolutely beautiful! It felt spacious, but private enough for an intimate setting. The food is beyond amazing (the best “wedding food” I have ever had) and the open bar had many options! I would recommend Chateau Ritz to anyone looking to be taken care of and be put at ease.

    We had our wedding reception at the Chateau Ritz in November of 2017 and couldn't have been happier about our choice!

    The very spacious bridal suite included a full bathroom (separate powder room) with enough room for about 3-4 girls to primp PLUS a whole sitting area big enough for at least 5-6 people comfortably. It was the perfect retreat when we needed a breather between the ceremony and the reception and the best part was that the waitstaff brought us up some food from our cocktail hour! We were starving and that hit the spot.

    The candlelit room looked gorgeous! They placed the lighting exactly where I asked them to. Listen to them when they tell you what size room to get, they know what they're talking about. I kept thinking my 125 person wedding would take up the entire banquet hall but they insisted that I only rent one side. Of course, they were right. There are many places to take amazing pictures here.

    My guests are still talking about how awesome the food was. We served filet, sea bass, and vegetarian lasagna. This is not your average banquet food and the portions were huge! They did this really cute bow tie strawberry display on our sweets table too. The bartenders were super friendly and accommodating. Actually, everyone was. They never missed any of the details we requested.

    The price was very fair and the bar package was generous. We are truly thankful we chose the Chateau Ritz.

    It was an absolute pleasure working with all of the people at Chateau. Each and everyone of them that we interacted with presented their ideas, suggestions and helped us every step of the way. We have received so many compliments from our guests after the wedding stating that the food, service, and overall atmosphere at the Chateau was well above expectations. We will definitely recommend this venue to our friends when they get married.

    My husband and I were married a few weeks ago and we had our reception at the Chateau Ritz. Originally I was looking mostly at venues downtown as well as different hotels in and outside of the city. Thank God we found the Chateau Ritz!

    First of all...the value. You will pay tax AND gratuity up to 33% on top of the per person cost of almost ANYWHERE you go. Gratuity is INCLUDED here...and for the service provided, that is a steal. The per person for the best meal offered isn't more than $75...compared to anywhere else, awesome price.

    Second...the overall look. This place is clean, elegant, beautifully decorated (but simple). Every single person who attended our reception made comments on how beautiful the venue was, and trust me...I did not spend a lot extra on decorations. I DEFINITELY recommend having the Ritz put up drapery at the entrance (with some uplighting) though...it really added to the room.
    And spend some extra money on uplighting...it is worth every penny. Whether you go through a DJ or have the Ritz place some lights...do something, you won't regret it.

    Third...the food. The food was GREAT. Everything from the salad to the soup, the hors d'oeuvres, and of course the entrees. My guests LOVED the food...and of course there top notch bar! And btw...your custom designed cake is included in their wedding packages!

    Fourth...the service. From Nick, to Ari, to Mike (I think that's his name)....every single person that I spoke to was extremely helpful in every way at every point. They are understanding and accommodating whenever they can be.

    I could probably go on and on. We could not have been happier! Do yourself a HUGE favor and take a look at this venue. If you are a city girl like myself who doesn't want to spend 50Gs on your wedding day but you still want something elegant and memorable in every way....book this venue the first chance you get.

    My husband and I were so impressed with CR. We are not difficult, but the owners did whatever they could to make sure we were happy. They responded quickly to our phone calls, and even let us change the menu the week before. The food was hot and delicious. Our guests were raving about it (they still are). The bartenders were friendly (I've never been to a wedding where the bartenders were nice), and they made the drinks strong with a smile on their face. The sweet table was fabulous as well. Thank you Mike, Nick, Ari, and the rest of your wonderful family for making our wedding a success. We love you!!

    The owners are magnificent, they bend over backwards for their customers. The service was great, food.....never tasted better. Everyone complimented how awesome the filet and salmon were. I would recommend this venue to all my clients and friends.

    We looked at several reception venues but as soon as we walked into the Chateau Ritz we loved every second of it until the end of our wedding. Mike was the initial person we spoke with and we cant speak enough about him and the level of personal service he provided. Every time we had a question or a possible concern they responded immediately. The decor of the venue is very beautiful and elegant. We went with family style for our menu and the quality for the price can't be beat. They definitely care about their customers and make sure that everything is taken care of from beginning to end. We highly recommend the Chateau Ritz for weddings and any other type of event as they are amazing.

    I just had my wedding reception at Chateau Ritz past weekend (6/30/12) and I can't say enough. This banquet hall is the best there is. They have wonderful staff members, supportive, helpful, patient, approachable, and professional. The day of the wedding- I admired that dinner was served by a good amount of waitresses, two managers, and the owner. Someone was always around in case we needed anything but the entire event was planned out and organized so well that I didn't need to worry about anything. It went so smoothly.Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the food, the quantity, and service. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, well cooked, and most importantly warm.
    We received many compliments on choosing this Hall and I am very proud of my decision. It was elegant, well decorated, staffed appropriately, and profesional. They really made my dreams come true. I wouldn't change anything about it. Another great thing was the bridal suite, which we had all to ourselves. It was goreous. Very spacious, with a couch, chairs, table, beautiful big mirror, private restroom and a shower (in case of need). The entire hall is well kept, clean, with beautiful chandeliers. Let me also mention that prior to booking this Hall I went though about 7 or 8 other reception banquet halls and boy I am glad I kept looking because it was really worth it. Best of Luck!

    I love this hall. It is absouletly beautiful. Everyone who works here is great. They have great prices and really work with you. I had orginal only had two whole rooms for my wedding I asked two weeks beforemy wedding if the other side had been taken yet they said no and let me have the whole hall for my wedding which was amazing. I had a little over 300 guests. The food, sweetable, and cake i had was unbelieveable. I still have people talking about my wedding. They getting everything done for you, the set up, clean up, etc. I had two bars that were staffed by two people each ari I think thats how you spell it is the best. The owner is amazing he really works with you in price, he also gives you a shot of drink everytime your there. I got everything that I could have that they offered especially family style. They also give you great referrals which i used. I meet all the vendors they use cake and linens. I am very honored to have my reception here and hope to use them again in the future.

    Everyone I worked with at Chateau Ritz was extremely helpful and nice. They made practical suggestions and recomendations. The food was wonderful. 8 months after our wedding I still have our guests tell me we had great food. They work with other vendors and they took care of the sweet table and cake, table linens and chair covers. The best part was during our wedding everything ran perfectly smoothly. When 10 extra guest who didn't rsvp showed up, I (the bride) wasn't bothered and they moved the band to a different table to make room for the extra guests without making a fuss. The bartenders were great as well, serving mojitos and anything our guests wanted. We had 150 guest but this place would be great for 200+. Would highly recommend!

    Beautiful Venue 5 stars

    My husband and I are so glad we chose Chateau Ritz as our reception hall. Claudia was easy to work with and was there for all our needs and want. The food was excellent (we had tons of compliments on the food selection). We chose the rack of lamb, Salmon and Chicken Chateau. The banquet hall and dance floor was very spacious. The chandeliers are beautiful and add that extra sparkle in the room.
