Chateau La Mer made the planning of our wedding seamless with the numerous packages that they offer. Taylor was patient with is and explained everything in detail. They were able to help us pick our photographer and catering based on the packages that were offered. We had our own DJ, so they were also able to issue us a credit towards our final price as well. The grounds and the grand ballroom are classic and modern.

We toured Chateau La Mer back in 12/2022. My fiance and I at that time fell in love with the venue and the gorgeous scenery and environment that it provided. We knew right away that this is where we wanted to host our wedding reception. We toured with Taylor, who made the touring process so simple and easy. And when it came down to the packages that they offered, we were amazed at the affordability! Great prices, great food, great views, great venue overall. They worked with us to make our vision happen and we had no hiccups in the process. Super smooth planning for my now wife and I. We had our reception there on Sunday, 7/30/23. The weather was perfect and the boat arrival and looking at our guests as we arrived was truly spectacular. Nina was our Maitre D' for the event. She was super friendly and easy to work with. She managed our guests and our itinerary very well the day of. And Dinorah our bridal attendant was a huge help to my wife and bridal party. She went out of her way to provide comfortable slippers to wear throughout the event, helped with EVERYTHING my wife needed, most importantly, holding her dress when walking. The whole team at Chateau was truly amazing. The venue was clean, my guests raved about the food, especially the Memphis BBQ station (highly recommend). Thank you Chateau for a beautiful and stressless event. It was a pleasure working with Chateau La Mer for our wedding reception event and we are very glad we chose Chateau as our venue. Our guests truly enjoyed the view and atmosphere at the venue. Thank you guys again.

My fiancé and I are planning a wedding for July 2024. We had a few options in mind but our hearts wanted Chateau La Mer. Throughout the entire process of just selecting our venue, Taylor was super awesome! She gave us the most detailed tour of the venue, answered all of our questions, and even took the time to form a connection with us, sharing our jokes and experiences. Taylor was not only helpful during the initial meeting, but beyond. We must’ve called Chateau about 5 times within a month with additional questions for Taylor. The receptionist was diligent and made sure Taylor received those messages. Taylor contacted me within a short period of time each time, sometimes within that same day if she was in the office. She worked our ideas and budget and our new budget too! Super patient because I cannot tell you how many times we changed our mind or wanted something else. Taylor even gave me her honest opinion about having my ceremony on site which was very much appreciated. There aren’t many venues where you can say their sales rep isn’t just trying to make a deal and that they actually care…well Taylor isn’t just trying to make the sale and she is truly there to help make your day the way you have envisioned it with the best pricing options. She’s honestly the best and the venue is awesome! Beautiful scenery, spacious rooms, all inclusive options, and an aesthetically pleasing lobby. Can’t wait to continue this process with Taylor! This is going to be an exciting ride!

Excellent venue! Everything was perfect! Beauty covered all the corners of the room.

Had my wedding at Chateau, great experience even with Covid. The team was great and helpful we had 45 guests and they made everyone feel welcome and safe. Staff is professional and courteous. Highly recommend Taylor & Pooja.

Just had my wedding Reception here a couple days go. I have to say the place is beautiful. My favorite of course is the outdoor waterfront area. The pier, boardwalk and gazebo all make it very nice. Not only that but the view of Chateau La Mer during sunset was sight to see.
For our entrance we choose the boat option, which lets the bride and groom arrive to the pier on a boat. We choose the perfect timing (sunset) to be on the boat and it was a very relaxing ride. Photographer and bridal attendant also joins you so you get your perfect sunset shots.
We worked with the manager Sam who I thought was very helpful throughout the planning, I was always able to reach him even on non working days. Any issues or concerns I was able to discuss with him right away. During the event he was up and about making sure all he guests are in the right places, the food is being served and everything is going according to itinerary. Food was delicious and served on a timely matter.

The vendors they worked with were great such as dj Salim, Eventscapture, White star limo. Although Francesco's bakery could use an improvement in their service and management.
Overall I thought everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend.

This venue is on a beach that is incredibly important to my fiancé and knowing that we get to tie the knot there makes it even more special. The location is beautiful and the wedding planning team is organized and accommodating in making our day just right!

The personnel at Chateau La Mer were helpful and responsive from day one. Our point of contact was Bill and he was there to answer any questions we had and ensured that everything ran smoothly. He went over every detail with us ahead of time so there were no surprises the day of. On the wedding day, the entire staff made sure that everything ran on time and according to schedule. The bridal attendant and bridal assistant were there with us the entire time, making sure that we had everything we needed. Golda was extremely helpful, from holding up my dress and helping me walk down the stairs to handing me drinks on the dance floor! The staff made sure that I saw the reception room setup when I arrived to ensure that the decorations were set up correctly. Every detail was perfect. The food was very good. The only thing I would say is for the sit-down meal, to make sure you tell the waiters specifically if anyone has food allergies, even if you write it ahead of time. The bartender was fast and accommodating. We had special bride and groom drinks that we came up with and he sought me out to make sure that he got it just right and adjusted it to be perfect. We had a Saturday morning to afternoon wedding and the pricing was very reasonable. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and makes for beautiful wedding photos. Overall, I highly recommend this venue! Weddings can be very stressful to plan and having a good venue that is responsive, accommodating, and detail-oriented (and timely!) is just one less thing to worry about!

First off, thankyou chateau la mer team♡ I am so grateful to have chosen you as my forever memory. I will always remember my wedding night. They were so great at managing everyone's time and place. They made sure rob and I had everything we needed. I was the only wedding of the day and when my plans fell through with getting ready in my hotel, chateau took me in with open arms for my big day
They allowed me and my bridal suite to get ready there at 11am when my wedding wasn't until 5pm. Rob and I are so happy that it went so well. I thought I was going to be stressed and chateau took that all away from me. Thankyou thankyou for your hardworking!!

I am so happy with how my wedding came out with Chateau. Very accomodating. I would just suggest bigger glasses for the bride and groom. At least for water.

Everything was to the perfection. The day of my wedding, the Maitre D and her her assistant made sure that my day was perfect. I have absolutely no complaint. Bill was very good. Very accommodating. He worked with my busy schedule. My guest enjoyed themselves and were very pleased with the service received at chateau la mer. Thank you again for everything. Our wedding was beyond what we could have ever imagined. Lou, Alex, and Laura went above and beyond to make our day extra special. We did not have to do a thing on our wedding day because we were in such great hands. We can't thank them enough for what they did for us. They have excellent packages, so it made the planning process even easier. If you are having a large wedding, we definitely recommend Chateau la Mer!

I had my wedding at Chateau La Mer in August 2016. It was the best night of my life. Chateau La Mer played a wonderful part of our night. I have so many great things to say about the venue! The view was beautiful. It was great for pictures. The boat entrance was incredible. Chateau did a great job at letting our guests know about the boat entrance. There were so many people outside to greet us even on a hot night. The boat was also a nice moment for my husband and I to have a few quiet minutes together. The cocktail hour was full of delicious food, and there was a ton of it! There was so much food we were already full before dinner. Then we went into the Atrium room. It was beautiful and set up exactly how I imagined it. The food at the reception was also great. We were full, but wanted to keep eating! Luckily we got a box to go. It was nice to have the next day! Laura was our bridal attendant and she was amazing. She was so kind, and took care of so many things for us. Our drinks were constantly full. Monica was the maître d, and she was also amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly. We also worked with Lou as our banquet manager. He made sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed and asked for. I would highly recommend Chateau La Mer for a wedding or party. We had a great time, and everything worked out so well. We were happy and our guests seemed happy. We are so thankful for the memories!!

They catered to our specific requests, their food was DELICIOUS, service was excellent! Our maitre'd Monika and our bridal attendant Agnes were so sweet! Our banquet manager, Derek, was so fantastic and worked well with our requests and responded to all our questions. At the end of the night, all the items we dropped off were already packed and ready to be put in our cars!

The site was beautiful, everyone had wonderful things to say! We shopped around a little for a reception site that would fit the number of guests we had, while remaining intimate and had a lovely backdrop for a fair price. Chateau La Mer was the perfect fit!

We were informed there was a Sweet Sixteen happening upstairs at the same time as our wedding reception, but WE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE!

My husband and I had our wedding here on 6/18/16 and it was the best day of our lives!! From start to finish everything was PERFECT!!! people are still calling & texting us saying how amazing our wedding was! Even though I didn't get to eat much as I hoped to the food was spectacular! My guests ranted and raved about how delicious everything was. The spread during cocktail hour was insane! Everything was set up beautifully and the day flowed perfectly thanks to my banquet managers Lou & Derek, matre D Monika and my bridal attendent Agnes!!!! Monika and Agnes went above and beyond to make sure our day went as smooth as possible! Between bustling my dress, to making sure I had everything I needed, and even bringing me food and drinks when I needed it! They were truly amazing and so on top of everything! I would have to rate this place a Perfect 10!! Oh! And Coming in on a boat and making a grand entrance to our cocktail hour was absolutely amazing too!! Everyone thought it was so cool & the boat ride was nice and relaxing! Every time We think about our wedding there's a huge smile on our faces and we have Chateau la Mer to thank for it!!! I have booked at Chateau La Mer and am sooo looking forward to having an AMAZING wedding there! It was absolutely love at first sight. All my questions and concerns were responded to. I was so happy to meet Derek, he is wonderful and extremely responsive. When we were having a misunderstanding with a recommended vendor he immediately responded to our phone calls and within 48 hours the issue was resolved and confirmed by email. I feel so comforted knowing this major item is not an issue. Now as for the tasting...OMG the food was delish! 308 days and counting!

My son and his beautiful wife were recently married at Chateau La Mer. They had an outdoor ceremony that was just perfect. Then, the bride and groom left on a boat only to make a grand dockside entrance. The new uplighting in the room was a nice added touch. The food was incredible and so much of it! For dessert we had the flaming apple pie that our guests are still raving about! The staff was professional and attentive to the needs of each guest.

Everything for our wedding went so smooth. We had a great time Derick and Lou are awesome! They accommodated our every need and made us so comfortable during the change of ownership. All of our guests raved about the food which was delicious and said they had a wonderful time.

Having our wedding at Chateau La Mer was probably one of the easiest choices that we had to make. We are incredibly happy that we chose to go with them. They are everything and more in terms of what we wanted from our wedding venue. We initially dealt with Lou who is absolutely a joy to deal with. He gave us the tour of the place and explained all the available options. Derik was also helpful and incredibly friendly. They are incredibly easy and flexible to deal with. Extremely communicative, not one phone call or email went unanswered. The venue is also a good value, you get a lot more for the money than you do at other places. Let's start with location.... it's gorgeous. The ceremony took place outside with the sunset in the background. We entered the cocktail hour by yacht. It felt like we were in a fairy tale. The Maitre'D and bridal attendant were incredibly helpful and attentive. Everything went off without a hitch, like clockwork. The food was amazing and consistent with what we tried at the tasting. Their fillet mignon is comparable to what you would have at a high end steakhouse. Drinks were consistently refilled and flowing. Waiters were incredibly professional and attentive. The venue is also equipped with a bridal sweet which is a convenient place to keep spare clothing or items that you no longer need in the dining room (i.e. Gifts, etc). Overall, could not ask for one thing to be different about Chateau. It was truly the best night of our lives.

We had our wedding here last week and all I can say is wow. They did such an amazing job with everything. They made sure everything was perfect. And it sure was!!! Wish we can do it again

Gorgeous venue, delicious food, amazing service, and even better value. our cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with the jewels of the sea addition. our 4 tier wedding cake was included in the price and looked amazing and tasted delicious. we made our grand entrance on the yacht while our guests welcomed us from the deck. top shelf open bar. great bartenders and waitstaff. Monika our maitre d and Agnes my bridal attendant were absolutely amazing and sooooo helpful. at one point my dress ripped from the strings to tie the bustle. I had no idea, and Agnes got down on the ground and acted like she was bustling my dress and meanwhile she was using huge safety pins to pin the bottom of my dress up without me having any clue it had even ripped. Highly recommend this venue for any affair.

My wedding was amazing. Nothing short of perfection. Everyone at Chateau la mer helped to make my day turn out even better than i imagined. We worked with Tino as our banquet manager. He always answered all my questions and was very easy to work with. My maitre d and bridal attendant were wonderful. they made sure that anything we needed was available to us. We were lucky enough to have great weather on our wedding day so our ceremony was outside. It was breath taking. The boat ride during cocktail hour was a wow factor. Our guest loved the food as well. Not one complaint about them.

My fiance and I had our engagement party at Chateau La Mer and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. I made my own centerpieces and favors using ideas I found on Pinterest. Lou let us drop everything off in advance so we wouldn't feel overwhelmed the night of the party. I also ordered custom table signs and business cards with our hashtag. On the night of the party, I arrived early to set up everything I had brought. To my surprise, the staff had already set everything up perfectly! The room looked beautiful! Their Christmas decorations served as a great backdrop for our photos. Tino was our maitre d and he was fantastic! He was so helpful throughout the night and overall just a great guy! I highly recommend requesting him if you are planning a party there.

On the night of the party, the bridal suite was filled with food and drinks, even though we were just having an engagement party. As our guests arrived, they were greeted with candy cane martinis. I have been to so many parties where it is obvious that the liquor is not top shelf. This was not the case at Chateau. I watched the bartenders take seals off of top shelf liquor bottles throughout the night. The bartenders worked hard and were extremely accommodating. They had no problem making all kinds of fun shots. Prior to the party, I met with Lou to select our menu. I asked him for advice about what he felt the best options were. I'm glad I did this because our guests raved about the food! Most importantly, the service was fantastic. The servers really kept an eye out for half filled drinks. They brought refills right to the dance floor for so many of our guests.

Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience. The food and drinks were great, the staff was hardworking and friendly, and the place was beautiful. Everyone had a great time! People keep telling us it was one of the most fun parties they've ever attended. Thank you, Chateau La Mer!

We were the third family wedding at Chateau La Mer and they did not disappoint. They accommodated all of our requests right down to the hot apple cider and pumpkin ale with a sugar rim. Lou, Rob and JIm were magnificent in making sure our day went as smooth as possible. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. My guests continue to talk about how great the food was and how many selections they had to choose from in cocktail hour.

I don't have a single negative word to say about this venue or the staff!! Every single aspect was perfect, the staff made planning so easy and were so accommodating, there was no hidden clauses, super upfront about everything, the food was to die for! The staff was so accommodating from the beginning planning phases to drop off the week of and right down to our wedding. My bridal attendant was their before I even knew I needed her every time and the Maitre D made sure every single detail, for this super picky bride, was perfect!

I think I always knew I was going to get married at CLM! I use to tell people when my husband and I first started dating, that we would get married there! We worked with Lou the majority of the time as he was a BM. Lou was great to work with. He answered all of our questions, really made sure we were in good hands!

The night of the wedding we at Tino as the MD. Tino was great. Super attentive to me and husband, and made sure we always had what we wanted. My BA was great!

Everyone is STILL talking about how great of a wedding it was - from the food to the service!

Everything was wonderful. The food, the staff, the location, everything. Lou was so helpful and he was always available. They made sure I had nothing to worry about and everything went according to plan. We had no complaints, we loved every minute of our wedding.

Chateau LA Mer is affordable, beautiful and professional for any event whether you are getting married, having a sweet 16 or whatever your occasion is. Our banquet manager Robert took excellent care of us from the time we decided to schedule our event to taking pictures of us at the very end of our night. Our bridal attendant Agnes was awesome and very mindful of our needs. Our guests loved the food, the ambiance and the staff. I would highly recommend anyone getting married to have their wedding here.

Rob was by far the most amazing person to have as my banquet manager. I worked in this business for a few years so I know how much work goes into everything, I also was part of many weddings. Rob made our wedding run so smooth I didn't even have to worry about anything. Between not knowing if the grooms mother was going to make it from out of the country until a few days before the wedding, all the way to making sure each and every guest was getting the best service possible he made sure I was not stressed or worrying about anything. The night went by so fast but it was so amazing. People are still talking about the food (quality and quantity) and how gorgeous the place was.
Rob and his staff are not the type that are going to try to rip you off, they are straight forward and to the point. They will not hit you with hidden fees, when they quote you a per person amount, that is the amount no extra fees added at the end.
Rob was very patient with me and not the pushy salesman type that I ran into with most of the banquet halls I looked at. He made me feel comfortable and not rushed (which is what I need). I was able to look at a few other venues and nothing compared to Chateau La Mer.
If I could do it all over again I would and I would not change a thing!

Truly and honestly the best place to get married and make sure you ask for Rob!

Chateau La Mer is a phenomenal catering hall sitting on the great south bay in Lindenhurst Long Island! Absolutely breathtaking views of the water and Fire Island in the distance. Bride and Groom arrive to cocktail hour on a boat! Rob was our banquet manager and Maitre D. Wonderful! He made sure we were taken care of and never hadf an empty glass! Our bridal attendant was Mya. She was fabulous! Whenever I needed something, Mya was right on top of it taking care of it! She thought of things that I didnt even know I needed! Our guests are still calling to let us know that the food was AMAZING!!! I would recommend this hall again and again! I cannot wait to attend another party at Chateau La Mer!

AMAZING AMAZING Venue!! Everything was perfect and the day was so smoothly. They have an amazing staff at the Chateau La Mer. We booked with Lou who was very accomodating and our Matre D was Tino who was there every second of the day to make sure the day was everything we have wished for. The food just kept on coming and was delicious. Our guests have told us it's the best wedding they have ever went to, they couldn't believe all the food and how excellent everything was. The waiters and waitresses were right on top of it all night long. The bridal attendent Laura was so sweet and anything we needed she was right there to make it happen. Our boat ride into our cocktail hour i will never forget, we felt really important that day and it was one of the best days of our lives. The atmosphere was perfect, palm trees, sunset over the water and a beautiful spring/summer day we want to go back in time and relive the day that's how much fun we had. Thank you again for such an amazing day we couldn't have done it without the entire staff and owner of Chateau La Mer!! If you choose this venue you will not be dissapointed, i promise!!

I got married to my love on May 25. Chateau la Mer was absolutely stunning and beautiful. The weather was perfect and the boat arrival was to die for. Our guests truly had a great time. Monica, the maître'd was so attentive and kept me calm and collected. Our guests had a such a great time!! Thanks Chateau la Mer!!!

Me and my husband had the greatest experience for our wedding. I did a lot of research and we came to chateau. Our maître d Rob was unbelievable and my bridal attendant Katie was great! The food was outstanding and all our guests are still talking about the wedding and the venue. Every couple should at least look at Chateau La Mer. You might fall in love, I know we did.

Beautiful place!! The boat ride entrance was something out of a fairy tale! The entire staff was amazing and so friendly!! The food was delicious! Even my picky mother in law loved it! Very reasonably priced for what you are getting!

Chateau La Mer & Nick was amazing from the start! Everything was absolutely beautiful. They couldn't have done a better job. The food was outstanding and service was constant & excellent. I would highly recommend them!!! Thank you Chateau for giving me the wedding of my dreams!!!!

What can i say. I got married at Chateau La Mer Aug 25, 2013 and i must say i have not heard one bad thing about my wedding. The food was absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a place that has great food then you have found it. The view of the hall is amazing right on the water. I had the first floor hall which gives you the option for outdoor and indoor cocktail. I must say everything was perfect. My matre d was so great. She was there with me helping me out throughout everything. The only thing that went wrong was the mix up with the table numbers and it caused my husbands family to sit one table further away from us. It was a little upsetting to see that they mixed up the table numbers. But other than that i had not one bad thing to say about the place. I would so highly recommend anyone to go there and check it out. The cake was delicious and there was not one thing that was wrong with it. I wish they would have given my the remainder of the cake but they only give you the top part to take home. As for food everything was delicious. They gave us our main dish to take home since we barely ate.

Chateau La Mer did an exceptional job for our wedding day!! Rob and Laura made sure we were taken care of all night long. They were wonderful in every way.

We had perfect weather, and were lucky enough to be able to come to our cocktail hour on the boat--such a fun experience that everyone loved. We were in the Bayview Room upstairs during the sunset, and it looked beautiful setting as we made our entrance. 125 people sat upstairs with a photo booth very comfortably! We are so glad we chose Chateau!

Our guests all spoke about how wonderful the entrees were, the seafood station at the cocktail hour, and the amazing Viennese Hour. The seafood station was unbelievable! So many lobsters, crab legs, and shrimp--I wish I had more time to spend there. Our guests definitely enjoyed it! The Viennese hour was so much fun--almost anything you could possibly think of for dessert-was there, and friends and family walked away with bags of candy. The giant apple pie flambé was my favorite!

I got married at Chateau La Mer on 9/8/13. It was more perfect than I could have EVER asked for. From start to finish the experience with them was out of this world. Lou was my banquet manager and main contact throughout the planning and he was absolutely WONDERFUL! He was helpful, honest, reassuring, accommodating and he also happens to be very funny. During the planning, any request we made was met without hesitation, they really know what they are doing and how to treat a people. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Tino & Robert during the planning; both were just as amazing. They are an extremely busy establishment; always had a party going on, but somehow we never felt rushed. They always took the time to talk and get personal and friendly. So after all of the planning the day was finally here. Upon arrival we found out Tino was our Maître D (yay for that!) and Katie was our bridal attendant (what a Gem). The day was so smooth; they were so attentive it was ridiculous. Katie is truly an angel. She was like a magician always around at the perfect time waiting to provide us what we want or need! Tino made sure everything was running on time, he was assertive but loving just the same. He knows what he is doing and when we were unsure he guided us in the right direction.

During and after the wedding all of our guests were raving about it, everyone couldn't believe how gorgeous the place was and how AMAZING the food is and how the service was stellar.

I highly, HIGHLY, recommend this place to ANYONE for anything LOL. I really hope that I can one day attend someone’s wedding as a guest.

Our wedding at Chateau La Mer was absolutely perfect. Our Bridal Attendant, Heather, was amazing! She took care of anything and everything we needed, from safety pins to drinks to gathering everyone for pictures. Our Maitre D', Rob, was fantastic, we are so grateful to have been able to work with Rob on our wedding day. He made sure everything was taken care of and that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Chateau was amazing!!! Everything we wanted and more!!! My bridal attendant Heather was perfect!!! She was there every time I turned around and needed her and better yet she was always there for my mom too!!! Robert our ma tradie was amazing also!! Where do I begin. The staff at Chateau La Mer was a pleasure to work with. They answered all questions and returned phone calls immediately. The venue was gorgeous. A definite for someone who wants the beach feel but can't do it. I felt like I was on an island with the palm trees. The food was amazing!!! I would definitely recommend them. You won't regret it!!

Chateau la Mer helped me to run a great wedding reception. Although there were a few bumps throughout the night, their staff was very attentive to me and my guests and provided us all with a great service. The service was great, but the food was also delicious!

There are only two words to describe our wedding at Chateau La Mer as well as the extraordinary treatment from all of the staff: Absolute Perfection!! What girl does not dream of a fairy-tale wedding, with a beautiful water view on a gorgeous day at a magnificent venue? I sure did.
Initially what led me to Chateau La Mer was of course the beauty of it. Sitting on a quiet street with a breathtaking view, it was quite the sight to be seen. The next thing that impressed me was the amount of food included in their price; which was spoken about for hours and hours by our guests. Not only is the quantity of food incredible, but the quality of food is out of this world. Guest upon guest would come up to my husband and I on our big day, saying "Oh my goodness! There is so much food!! AND it's delicious!!" Compliment after compliment came from one friend or family member to another. "Gorgeous", "breathtaking", "delicious", and "Intoxicating" (no pun intended) - were among the compliments we received.
Robert Drago - our Maitre' D was out of this world!! Step by step, moment by moment, he was constantly calming any worries or concerns I had [and trust me, I am most a definitely a worry-wart]. Fortunately for me, Rob was my first-contact at Chateau La Mer. From the moment I met him, he assured me "Christina, this day is about you and your husband. I'm here to make your dreams come to life" and he absolutely did, beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I've been to big fancy venues with stiff staff who merely does what's necessary. Throughout the entire process from beginning to end, Rob was there. He truly went above and beyond his job duties. He knows the difference between business and personality and trust me when I say- there was a lot of personality at our wedding. In every specific and detailed aspect of the wedding from financial questions, to decor issues, to concern of certain guests and my desperate need for red-bull after such a long day- Rob was there.

I am writing a review for Robert Drago, the bm at Chateu Le Mer...Robert was my bm when I booked and began planning my wedding at Giorgios. Let me start off by saying that when I first met Rob, I was "just looking" at the venue, with no intentions on booking..Robert was absolutely AMAZING...he walked me through what the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception would be like, we discussed options, and he assured me that he would help me out every step of the way. Needless to say I booked and planned a wedding within 6 months!! Planning the wedding of my dreams was an absolute pleasure, because Rob was true to his word and was there to help me anyway he could, even after he was no longer working at my venue. He went above and beyond from day 1. All of the other vendors that he recommended to me were spot on! From the dj to the photographer, he knows who is the best of the best in the business. Rob made my fiance and I feel like we were old friends...he doesn't make you feel like a client like many people in the wedding business do. There really aren't enough fabulous things I can say about Robert Drago. I had the wedding of my dreams and he is the one who made it all possible. If you are lucky enough to have him as your bm, you can be sure that he will go out of his way to make sure your day is perfect!! There is just not enough that I can say about Chateau La Mer. Nick was our matre'd and just ensured that our day was spot on. Our bridal attendant, Laura, was also amazing. The day before our wedding, I dropped off A LOT of boxes with favors, menus and other personal touches. I also had really detailed instructions to make sure everything was laid out as I had envisioned. I apologized for being a crazy bride, but Nick, Laura and the whole staff made me feel as though all of my requests were completely normal and put me at ease. The wait staff was incredible- not one guest ever waited long for a refill on their drink. Everyone still compliments the service and the food. I could not have trusted my wedding to a better location!

CLM went above and beyond!! We hit some bumps in the road bc of Hurricane Sandy but in the end everything came together and our day was AMAZING. Tino and Nick were helpful from day one. All of our guests raved about the venue, food, and decor. I would highly recommend this place to any future brides.

Bill and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chateau La Mer on August 10, 2012. Nick guided us with the planning from start to finish. Nick is a great guy he is very professional, respectful and concerend about all the details to make a perfect day for everyone. The wedding ceremony was decorated beautifully with flowers from lindenhurst village florist. The palm trees make you feel like your on an island. The water view is breath taking. The cocktail hour was 2 hours long. The presentation of the cocktail hour was outstanding and the abundance of food was delicious. We hired a band called Steel Sensation that plays calyupso music.This band of 5 men were amazing. Nick organized the evening to the minute everything was perfect!!! The reception was decorated so nice and the tables were set beautifully. The variety of dinner choices were great.The DJ Unlimited Entertainment is awesome!!! The dessert hour was incredible and had everything and anything you wanted!!! Everyone was calling us and saying this was the best wedding we ever went to!!! Thank you nick and the staff for making a perfect and special wedding day!!!

What can I say about CLM....only that we fell in LOVE from the moment we got there. From the walkthrough to the food tasting, to the wedding & even afterwards when the top tier of our cake got destroyed from our DOC & Nick ordered us another one - the venue, the staff, the food - AMAZING - my family & friends still tell me it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to! I love them & would use them again in a heartbeat!

Chateau La Mer is a beautful place to have your reception at. Nick was the one who helped us pick pur food, help make sure everything was there on time and that we had no problems. He is a great man as well as out bridal attendant Laura. She helped me getting up and down the stairs, got everyone lined up for introducing us and helped with anything we needed. I highly recommend Chateau La Mer.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! They were so much more reasonably priced than other venues in the area. Additionally they provided more for us and our guests. All the vendors they recommended were fabulous, but I used a different DJ.

Nick was so attentive to detail. Jessica, our bridal attendant was also fabulous! Nothing but smiles and compliments from our guests.

They dealt extremely well with our family issues and were respectful of this the entire time.

Everyone loved the food, and the fact that they could order seconds of another meal option!

We got married in December and it was decorated beautifully for the holidays. My husband and I didn't have a lot of decorating to do. Everything we asked to be set up was perfect. NO COMPLAINTS!

Chateau La Mer was the best! The place looked beautiful, the food was amazing I couldn't have asked for more. My bridal attendant was great, anything I needed she was there. We have received so many compliments from our guests. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and even though it was cold outside we got many amazing pictures outside there. I definitely recommend them, and am very happy I chose to have our wedding there.

Chateau La Mer receives an A++++++++++ from us. From the very first day we set foot inside, we knew it was the place for us. The service was unbelievable right from the start. They worked with us to find a date and package that could accommodate both our budget and size. The food tasting was wonderful. Someone was almost always available to answer our questions, and if not, phone calls were always promptly returned. The day of our wedding, the entire staff worked diligently to ensure that everything ran smoothly, which it did. The outdoor ceremony was absolutely perfect, followed by the amazing boat ride we took. Our guests were thrilled by the cocktail hour and were excited to greet us returning from our boat ride out on the terrace. We had a large bridal party which included our 4 children and our 5 nieces and nephews, all under the age of 11, and the staff was wonderful with them. The food and our cake were fantastic, and our guests were pleasantly surprised when they were offered seconds of their main course. Our Maitre d' Frank and bridal attendant Maria were both phenomenal, they made sure we had everything we needed all night. The wait and bar staff also went above and beyond, and the compliments are still coming in. We could not have asked for anything more, it truly was the perfect day! Thanks Chateau La Mer!

We all had a GREAT time at Chateau. The food was amazing and the help was great. We even packed up some extra food since we had to have 120 people and only 100 showed up :(. But they made the day amazing!

We couldn't have been more pleased with how this entire process turned out. From the moment my husband called and spoke with Lou and when walked in to Chateau La Mer for the first time we felt at home with them. There were no complications. Lou worked with us with whatever we wanted. He kept saying "this is for you". Of course, we weren't too demanding, we like things pretty traditional, but they offer everything under the sun to people and then they actually deliver on it. We are married almost a year now and people are still commenting on the food, the cake, the location, which is right on the water, and how nice and efficient the staff were. We say to each other that if we could do it every year, we'd have a party there. Chateau La Mer had our best interests at heart and we are thrilled to say we had our wedding reception there!

I had my wedding at Chateau La Mer and it was absolutely beautiful. When I was deciding on my venue I was initially hesitant because the location is on the water and typically better for a summer wedding. However, when I went to see the venue upon booking on New Year’s Eve the place looked stunning with all of the gorgeous Christmas trees and decor. I booked with the manager Lou, who was very nice and accommodating and was honest/up-front about costs. He provided me with a hospitality hour (aka a pre-cocktail hour) which was nice for my guests to go directly to hall after church to relax have a cocktail before my main cocktail hour. Even though the hospitality hour was an additional $1,000 it was worth it. If you do book with Chateau be sure to keep your records of payment, secretary could be a little unorganized (super nice) but just to be sure keep track yourself. My bridal attendant was Laura who was the best, she made sure I always had a cocktail and helped with my dress, shoes etc. My maître’d was Tito who was also really great. He actually fixed my cake that day, another thing, if you use Campbell’s Bakery, the provided bakery, make sure you are very clear about the design. I had told them I wanted gold dusted on the flowers and it came in yellow! Tito came to the rescue and pulled it all off and added fake flowers that I had from my centerpieces. He make it look perfect! The cake tasted good, I wouldn’t say it was the best bakery – I was slightly annoyed that I paid an additional $250 for a design I wanted on the cake and they totally messed it up. Also, the ladies don’t speak English well so make sure you are CLEAR about your design. That is probably the one thing I would have changed.I didn’t use the house DJ, brought in my own, I just didn’t get a good vibe from the house DJ so nixed them. Overall, Chateau was great, cocktails were on point – they make my signature drink perfect! My guests thought the food was amazing and that it was a BLAST!!

If you want your wedding to be perfect, this is the venue. From the Robert the MatriD to my bridal attendant to the staff, they were amazing, helpful and if any problems rise up, they fix it.I had an amazing time, everything was perfect in my eyes.

I had never been to a wedding there before but when I saw it I liked that it was different and small. They only let you get there an hour before the wedding - I would have liked more time to take pictures. Besides that everyone had an amazing time, the staff was super helpful and people keep talking about the amounts of food that was served. It was great!

I loved my catering hall before the wedding and I love it now even more. The are beautiful, have excellent service, and the food is amazing. They have a yacht arrive in the summer time. They have great prices and are very warm people. I would def. recommend this vendor to anyone.

Last week we hosted our daughter’s Sweet 16 at Château La Mer, and what started as a simple party turned into the event of a lifetime. Our daughter had the dance party she always dreamed of, and the team at Château La Mer made sure every detail was perfect.

From our very first visit with Taylor, we knew we were in great hands. Taylor has a truly hands-on approach and is incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us every step of the way and making the entire process seamless and stress-free.

The Atrium Room was beautifully decorated, and even with 210 guests—including a large court table, photo booth, DJ, lighting, and show effects—there was still more than enough room on the dance floor. The energy and flow of the night were flawless.

Thank you to Taylor and the entire Château La Mer team for creating such a memorable night for our daughter and our family. We highly recommend booking your next event at Château La Mer.

I loved the staff at Chateau La Mer! Lou was our banquet manager after our other one Derek left. Even though they never told us Derek left until we asked Lou stepped in and was very accommodating with us. The venue looked beautiful day of and the staff was very helpful with setting everything up for us. Our bridal attendant and maitre d were amazing. They helped and were there for us each step of the day. My guests raved about the food and room. We had the lakeview room upstairs and it was beautiful overlooking the water view. I am so grateful to them for making my wedding day as beautiful as it was. Thank you!!

I had my event 5/26/14. Lou, our banquet manager was THE BEST!!! From day 1 he worked with us and was very upfront about everything. He was always available when we needed him. He gave us great advice regarding ideas we had.
My only complaint would be that our ceremony did not start as scheduled (630pm SHARP) and no one could tell me why. Both my groom and I were on time and ready so I didn't know what the hold up was.
Despite that, I would definitely recommend Chateau La Mer as a venue!!! We received several compliments on the food, drinks, and look of the venue. People have even told us we had the best wedding they've been to. Thank you Lou and staff for making that possible!!!

I knew from the moment I saw a pic of CLM online that I wanted to get married there. We met with the staff and fell in love instantly with the venue. Despite a few roadblocks due to unforeseen circumstances (Hurricane Sandy), CLM went above and beyond to make our day very special. Our guests raved about the venue, views, and food. Our day was perfect and CLM brides you are in good hands!!

The venue is beautiful, everyone was extremely accomodating, food was amazing. I had a wonderful experience here and with Nick. I attended a wedding here previous to mine and they were on point each time. The food and service is consistent.

Better late than never but my husband and I got married on one the most beautiful days in June and loved every minute of our wedding at CLM. Rob was our contact through the entire planning process and banquet manager the day of. He is great at his job and a very calming presence. We only went to 2 venues and came back to CLM because of the great view of the water and their twilight option of 2pm - 7pm. My husband was sold when Rob mentioned they would order in different varieties of beer for us if we wanted, which we did take advantage of!! I believe our bridal attendant was Olivia, who was also wonderful and at my side whenever I needed something. Making sure we sat to eat and always had a full drink waiting for us. Another special touch was that they added fresh flowers from our centerpieces to the cake, which made such a difference and I'm so grateful that they went above and beyond. We also had a guest arrive late and missed ordering dinner, Rob was on it before we even got his attention to take their dinner order. Only complaint I had (or more my family) was that apparently the AC broke in part of the room during the party. So where the dais and tables were was very warm but back by the bar was cold. We were told it was because the doors to the room kept opening and closing, which wasn't true. It really didn't affect our good time in the least, however it would have been nice to have a cold room with all the dancing going on! In the end, CLM did the right thing and compensated us for the lack of AC. I still get raves about the food, the amount and quality!! People from out of town thought our cocktail hour WAS the party, that's how amazing the cocktail hour spread is. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and staff for the most special day of our lives. Thank you CLM!

Chateau La Mer was the perfect venue for our wedding. The atmosphere was amazing. Our food was delicious, from what I heard since I was too busy to eat. We had Lou as our Banquet Manager and Tino as our Maitre D. Everything was exactly as I envisioned it. We picked out a cake with them and I anticipated it to be very plain but when I got there it was more than I dreamed of. They had added seashells and flowers to a plain white cake. I loved it. The tables looked amazing, the service was great and the staff was hospitable.

What a beautiful location and excellent service! Our guests loved the food and the venue. The Ballrooms are gorgeous and the staff is outstanding. We loved Lou, our sales rep. He delivered everything he promised and more. They made our wedding so memorable. The value cannot be matched anywhere else in New York!

Value for cost was what sold us on this vendor! It was right on the water, and had a lot of unique features we did not see with any other halls. The professionalism of the staff was unsurpassed, and their willingness to accommodate us did not go unnoticed.
The only draw back was that they did not have any real garden areas for pictures.

We chose CLM after visiting about ten venues.We loved their deck with the palm trees and the venue was beautiful.We dealt with Rob and Lou and in my opinion both were awesome!The wedding day the sun was out,people were ready to party and CLM didn't disappoint.Everything from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception was better than we had imagined.The food throughout the night was great as it always is at CLM.(Ive been to CLM for other weddings) My guests loved the bartenders and the bar was packed most of the night.My only complaint is that their chocolate machine broke and I guess they didn't have a backup,but we did get a dinner gift card to makeup for the mistake which we appreciated.Could not ask for a better wedding vendor in my opinion.WE have been to many weddings and most other places don't do it as well as CLM.Thanks CLm for great day!!
