  Char and Tony are the BEST!

  We feel SO lucky to have found Char and Tony!! From our first zoom call, we knew they fully understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding day. Char met up with us in Oakland for our engagement shoot, and she was so laid back yet professional and knowledgeable–we felt totally comfortable in front of her lens! She stayed in touch in the year between our engagement shoot and our wedding, always sending timely tips about the whole wedding planning process.
  When the night before our wedding arrived and we were celebrating with some of our out of town guests at the hotel, who wandered in but Tony! He and Char just happened to be staying where we hosted our welcome party. They went on to capture some photos/videos of the celebration, which really drives home that Char and Tony are totally committed to their couples. That translated into the next day, when they were both SO on top of everything. We got some sneak peeks the day after the wedding (which were amazing!!!), and our final gallery showed every moment. Char and Tony captured our day so beautifully–we will cherish these photos forever. Thank you both!!

  It doesn’t get better than Char & Tony!!

  Char and Tony are the DREAM TEAM. Truly, we could not dreamed of a better duo to have shared our special day with! Not only are they incredibly talented but they took the time to get to know us and what we wanted, which was more natural in the moment memories and they nailed it!! It helped me feel so at ease knowing I had Char right there to take control if need be to get the most incredible photos. I usually feel awkward in front of the camera but they made us so comfortable and confident! And not just in front of the lenz but overall! Tony would continuously make sure we had drinks and food after the ceremony which just showed how thoughtful & how much they care throughout the day! Plus, allllll of our friends and family absolutely adored them as well! Everyone raved about how incredible they were, even if it was a quick encounter. You’ll know when you meet them that they love, love and they’ll be sure to capture every moment! They were the BEST addition to our wedding and I feel like finding them was meant to be🤍 I am forever grateful to you both and I can’t wait to see all of the final results!

  My ideal dream team!

  I call it fate. I was complaining to my husband the morning I met Char and Tony about never finding a dream wedding photographer. There we have it, Tony coming out of the Maldivian ocean taking a picture of a shell.
  Now here we are.
  Just an absolute dream! The sea of talent out in this world is incredible and these two beautiful souls are one of them.
  You know talent when you see it, they capture their clients the way they want to be captured. When it comes to art, you either have it or you don’t. Char has it.
  I am a very moody, non traditional bride and Char made my photos happen. I can’t even begin to explain how in awe I am over the images she has sneak peeked. She and Tony captured Garrett and myself in our element.
  I love how comfortable I was around them. They made my 4 day event so special and are true friends. I can’t wait for our next adventure together.
  Thank you Char and Tony. Thank you for flying all this way to Chile for us. I can’t imagine hiring someone else.

  An Amazing Night Captured by Amazing Photographers

  We are so happy we hired Char and Tony to shoot our rehearsal dinner. Leading up to the event, Char texted me asking how I was doing, and gave me some tips and tricks for the weekend, a small touch I really appreciated. When we met them they set the tone with how cheerful and welcoming they were, putting both my husband and I at immediate ease. They did an excellent job giving us the freedom to meet our guests and extended family members while also making sure to carve out specific times for our requested photos of just us, family, and friends. Most of all, we loved how fun they were themselves! They had everyone smiling, laughing, and I think they captured just how great of an experience the night was. We're so grateful to have hired CharpLenz and can't recommend them enough

  You must choose char and tony!

  There are truly no words to describe how incredible Char and Tony are. From the very first meeting we had with Char, we could tell that she was truly something special. She deeply cares about what her couples envision for their wedding day and how she can bring out that inspiration and vision through her photography. She is a true artist that goes beyond the generic "wedding photos". She tries fun angles, and playful yet natural free-flowing poses all the while making sure you are having SO MUCH FUN. Tony arrived with Char for our wedding weekend and we could not have imagined a more perfect husband/wife photography duo. They have the BEST energy together and made Ian and I laugh our butts off the whole weekend and feel completely relaxed. By the end of the weekend, we truly felt like Char and Tony were no longer just our photographers, but they became real friends.
  
  When our wedding photos finally arrived in our inboxes several weeks later, we were in absolute awe. Each photo completely took our breath away and it felt like we were right back at our wedding as tears streamed down our faces as we clicked through each photograph. We would recommend Char/Tony to absolutely anyone. They were truly one of the absolute best decisions we made for our wedding!!!! WE

They are genuine, professional, thoughtful, fun, and detail-oriented people who immediately put us at ease. We knew they had our backs! For our engagement shoot, it really felt like we were hanging out with a couple of our friends, while we were able to share some of our love story and they captured special moments. On our wedding day, Char and Tony hired an additional photographer (as a contingency, in case COVID or a different emergency struck). The team worked SO hard on our wedding day. They stuck with us for over 12 hours, made us laugh, took so many wonderful photos of the big and the intimate moments, and always checked in with us to make sure we had everything that we needed.   Char is amazing!! Her eye for detail is insane and she is able to capture the most beautiful shots and moments. She has the most warm and friendly energy and she is the best hype person. My fiancé and I had so much fun working with her and her man. An amazing experience from beginning to end.

  We love Char & Tony!

  We actually found Char through Symboll, who were booked our photography and videography package through. Char absolutely nailed our photos and made us feel so comfortable. My husband hates photos, so believe me that was a feat! Tony came to assist and did everything from holding our champagne to capturing candids of our dog! They are the dream team!

  Magical Experience!

  Char and her husband Tony were the perfect fit for our entire wedding. When we first started looking for a photographer, we wanted someone that we knew would make our guests feel special and comfortable taking photos, as this is not typical for our family. Our family had the best time with both of them and made our experience so special. They are both so talented and captured every moment- our pictures are amazing and we will treasure forever! They were able to capture us in a way we couldn’t have imagined. Not only are they talented photographers with an artistic eye, but they also have such a beautiful way with people. Thank you Char and Tony for such a magical experience!

  Char communicated with me since day one. She made me feel like if I was having conversations with my girlfriend. Our experience with Char was more than we could ever hope for. She went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was captured perfectly. She was caring, organized and COMPLETELY on top of her gamr. She truly stepped up and even took on responsibilities that weren’t hers in our wedding.   Char and her hubby are an amazing team! I’ve worked with other photographers before and Tony and Char are a completely different. Char was excellent at letting us be ourselves while interacting with us to obtain the perfect shot. Tony played music to keep the energy high!! Definitely worth the extra for a second shooter!! I was also extremely impressed at the level of courteousness and professionalism they showed to the other professionals during our shoot. They went above and beyond to make sure our Photoshoot was what we always dreamed of. When I saw the finished product I was moved with the lighting and elegance she was able to capture! I absolutely loved my entire experience!! Thank you to you and your team for capturing what we felt in our hearts that day.

  You two made our job sooooo easy! You both just came alive when the cameras came out! Hilarious how at first you both were like... "Char, we are not good in front of the camera and like...Bam!" JLo and Brad Pitt came out to play! We love you both even more...if that's possible!

  True Artist With a Great eye

  Title says it all really, we love Char's work, she always picks up great detail and thought of things that I hadn't caught.
  She got Fantastic shots and is really fun to be around. She'll capture your big day or whatever it is she is working on with ease, professionalism leaving great memories to look back on.
