Penny at Charlotte Wedding Flowers is absolutely amazing! From our very first meeting with her, I knew she'd be our florist. She listened to everything we wanted and made suggestions based our on likes. She even showed us some sample wedding flowers that were being prepared for the next day! She is quick with emails and easy to reach by phone. Highly recommend them!!! -

As a bride who didn't know exactly what she wanted, Penny was such a pleasure to work with. She offered suggestions to fit my budget and style (and with only a month's notice!) We used bouquets, corsages, boutineers, two floral arrangements, and some baby's breath, but I know that if I needed more flowers, I would have been incredibly impressed. The flowers were fresh, beautiful, and elegant. I highly recommend the team over at Charlotte Wedding Flowers! -

Carolyn was extremely flexible and worked with me to plan meetings around my crazy work schedule! She was incredibly knowledgeable and recommended some beautiful floral options to help me achieve my wedding day look and style. Everyone commented on how lovely the flowers were and how they complimented our colors and styling. Carolyn was especially fantastic to help us re-purpose flowers from the ceremony for the reception. She truly went above and beyond to consider our budget and desires, which helped alieviate any potential stress. We gave some of our guests left over flowers and my aunt messaged me two weeks after the wedding and told me her hydrangeas were still as beautiful and perfect as they were on our wedding day! Charlotte can really bring a vision to life! Her prices are unbeatable and the silk flowers are gorgeous. She arranges them so beautifully that they look real! We brought color swatches of bridesmaids dresses and she color matched amazingly. Ordering the flowers was so much fun because she has examples of what she’s made and what she can everywhere so you don’t have to visualize anything. And now we have beautiful silk flowers that we can put up every year on our anniversary that will never go bad! Thank you Charlotte! -

Our wedding order wasn't completely carried out according to what was contracted in writing. Be specific with your written order details and any changes thereafter. Don't allow them to rush through the final video conference so nothing's overlooked. Ours was rushed as if that's not where the Rep wanted to be at the moment, and the Rep delivered mostly greenery instead of all white flowers (see pic) which was in the original written order (see pic) for our alter arrangements. It looks as if she matched the alter arrangements to the Bride's bouquet (see pic). The only thing we had added was 'some' pops of color, but the entire arrangements were no where near what we had ordered. The original order stated that the alter flowers' glass containers were rentals and needed to be returned on Monday, but the Rep changed it to non-rentals without informing us, and the arrangements were thrown away at reception clean-up because we had to return the containers, supposedly, so we ended up throwing out a lot of $$$, even though they weren't the flowers we had ordered. One thing that left a bad taste in my mouth is that the Rep and Owner's responses to our feedback never really acknowledged that they messed up, but instead they justified their actions were for our benefit, and that was frustrating. Also, the Rep changed the original order to reflect that the glass containers were non-Rentals after the wedding, and sent the paid invoice with this change versus the original order that stated they were Rentals. They offered a $50 refund and a free arrangement for our dissatisfaction, but that's not what I was seeking after. In my opinion, they should have refunded the entire cost of these 2 alter arrangements because they did not deliver what was on the original order and what we had paid for (which probably was more expensive than the greenery they delivered). We would have preferred to have the beautiful White flower arrangements we had ordered on the alter on our wedding day. -

Regina Sent on 06/17/2014I am very disappointed with Carolyn at Charlotte Wedding Flowers. She seemed like such a nice lady who really understood my vision. We discussed everything I wanted, because it was the only aspect of the wedding that I already knew what I loved and wanted. After paying a deposit and not finding any reviews of the place (this was about a year ago that I booked her), I was nervous so I asked her to email me pictures of what she was thinking so I could reassure myself that she knew what I wanted. The pictures were exactly what I wanted and she had the color swatches of our colors to decorate the aisles with ribbon. Fast forward to the morning of my wedding and in comes these embarrassing bouquets of mostly fillers and only a couple tiny orchids and roses. I was so excited for my bouquet that I already have put a down payment to get them preserved after the wedding and I saw these and just wanted to cry. It was not at all what we discussed. My bouquet was not to contain any filler and the only part that was not filler was the few flowers right in the middle that couldn't even be seen. Of course it was too late to fix it since I was about to walk down the aisle. Down the aisle I also notice the bows on the aisle weren't even the color swatches I gave to Carolyn! Finally, I had specifically asked if she could create a little silk pocket type thing to carry with my bouquet to put my nana's little bible in that she carried the same way on her wedding day 60 years ago. Once the women delivered the flowers, they were tying the old bible to the bouquet with a piece of string! I could have done that myself if that's what I wanted. It is just so disappointing. Of course the money spent to freeze dry them can't be refunded and the fillers already made the bouquet look dead the next day so there is even nothing to freeze dry anymore.
