    We absolutely LOVED working with Charla for our engagement session and wedding! From the very beginning, she felt like a friend. Her warm personality put us at ease as we posed for photos that could otherwise feel unnatural. On our wedding day, she acted as our right hand woman guiding us through where we needed to be. She was a pro at fitting in all of our portraits, even when on and off rain left us constantly darting for shelter. Most importantly, she's insanely talented. We have poured over our photos time and time again, and we couldn't be more pleased. Her work is art, and we'll cherish it forever. We can't recommend Charla enough. I'm already dreaming up reasons for our next shoot with her!

    Charla was an absolute dream come true!
    She was so much fun to work with!! She was incredibly flexible and open-minded. We asked her if we could include our dogs in our engagement session and our wedding portraits and she was more than happy to accommodate this request!
    My new husband and I were beyond pleased with the results of our wedding photos!
    The day of our wedding it rained, which could've been terrible, but Charla worked so hard and did a fantastic job!! You can't even tell by looking at our photos that it was raining!!

    Charla is the perfect wedding photographer, and will not disappoint! Not only is she incredibly talented, she is organized, professional, and fun! She delivered everything on time, and as promised. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

    After several other interviews with wedding photographers, we scheduled a meeting with Charla. We knew instantly that she was the one! Her inviting presence and amazing portfolio were exactly what we were looking for! We booked her right away, and have had no regrets! One thing that really impressed me with Charla was during the scheduling of the engagement pictures. I really felt like Charla had a vested interest in not only getting us the best pictures possible, but also telling our story. She went above and beyond, sending me a styling board and outfit tips before the shoot, and even arranged for us to have a private photo shoot at the restaurant we got engaged at during non-business hours. During the actual shoot, we never felt rushed or crunched for time; Charla took all the time needed to make sure we got the best pictures.

    Fast forward to the wedding, Charla worked with us, and was so sweet and accommodating the whole time! She really made me feel at ease the entire time, and really worked hard to get us some amazing photos! Charla was organized and professional the entire time. We even had several guests come up to us complimenting Charla for her accommodating, and fun spirit!

    We eagerly anticipated the arrival of our photos in the weeks after the wedding. We were completely blown away with what we received. Charla is so incredibly talented, and has such a God given gift. Our pictures were beyond anything that we could have ever asked for; they were simply beautiful and perfect. She so incredibly was able to tell our story, and captured so many beautiful, unique moments from our big day. We will forever be grateful for the images and memories she has gifted us.

    Charla was very responsive to every question I emailed or called her about! She had great ideas for my wedding pictures and also did every picture I asked for. She is awesome! Highly recommend.

    I am using charla for my upcoming wedding on April 12th and I cant wait! She did such a great job with my bridals, Save the Dates, Engagement shoot & my surprise engagement. My fiance and I were wanting to do a more creative shoot for our Save the Dates and she found a way to make it happen! Also, she was able to capture when my fiance proposed to me with photos and video!

    If you are planning a wedding, its really important to invest in a photographer that captures all of the special moments. They really do last a lifetime and I cant thank charla enough for helping us capture every special memory.

    Charla is absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Extremely professional and responded to every email very quickly. Her personality makes anyone feel comfortable in front of the camera (even a groom that hates having his picture taken!) She was more like a friend than a wedding vendor. Her photos are creative and unique – not those standard, cheesy wedding photos. And I received my photos in lightning speed. I could go on and on. Seriously a truly amazing person, photographer, and artist.

    Charla Storey Photography did an awesome job with our recent wedding. We were very impressed with her professionalism and level of quality and creativity. It was amazing to be able to enjoy our special day knowing that our moments were being caught by very capable hands. We were very happy, also, with the quality of the pictures upon receiving them afterwards. We now proudly display them in our home and hearts :)

    Charla is amazing! She took photos of my whole 14 ppl bridal party. She took her time and was patient with me on my big day! She listened to what I want and she totaled delivered!! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

    LOVED our pictures! We used Charla for Engagements and Wedding. I wish we had more sunlight pictures for our engagements, but she made that happen with our wedding. Everything was just beautiful, and the pictures looked straight out of a magazine! She also had a very sweet assistant that helped with everything very quickly! I would highly recommend Charla for your wedding!

    Charla is a wonderful person and photographer. She has a real gift for making her subjects feel at ease when being photographed. Throughout our engagement pictures and the wedding day, she was professional and fun to work with. Our engagement pictures turned out amazingly and were even featured in Brides of North Texas Magazine. I have yet to see our wedding day pictures, but I am bursting with excitement to see how beautiful they turned out. Charla made sure to work with me on every detail, including following my shot list to a T. She was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer and we are so happy we exceeded our budget a bit to get a wonderful photographer like Charla. If you hire her, I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

    Only gotten low-res pixelated photos back

    All the images shot by digital camera sent back to us is 500k (very low res) the ones done in Film were okay - Worst part is absolute no way to contact her again, just got ghosted - Huge heartache because love the images soo so much. My wedding memories will be forever low res and pixelated. ( hey Charla, if you see this and if it was not setting mistake, please get in touch to send high res 🙏🏻 Love, Moon & Andrew)

    Hard to work with

    Charla was one of our most disappointing vendors to work with — the quality of her actual work is good, but when it came to responsiveness and following through with everything there was always SO much lag and we constantly had to chase her. As a bride, this is the last thing you want to deal with when it is one of your most important and highest paid vendors.

    She cancelled our engagement shoot and decided to book another shoot that allowed her to travel (clearly her passion) and didn’t ask us whether that was OK, she told us after the fact. We ended up taking our engagement photos just six weeks before our wedding. (Who wants to do that?)

    Moreover, the wedding album we decided to purchase for our one year wedding anniversary took more than THREE months to process!!! We were so disappointed again by the final product because we felt like we overpaid for the final product, just as we felt we overpaid her as a vendor.

    While Charla is a nice person, she was really one of my least vendors to work with and I would not recommend hiring her unless she gets to travel to a cool destination for a wedding or engagement shoot.

    Almost Two Years and Still No Albums

    We had Charla photograph my wedding and did a good job. However over a year and a half later I still have not received the photo albums that were with my package. I have emailed and left phone messages multiple times and have been getting no response. I am about to contact other people to get involved in this manner.

    I had a gorgeous wedding- wish I had some pictures I really liked to remember it by. I was so excited to have Charla shoot my wedding. We talked about my style and I actually thought she understood what I liked and what I did not. I was not a bridezilla at all, perhaps I should have been. All my other vendors would call and check in to see how the process was going and talk to me about plans, not Charla. You have to tell her in detail everything she is supposed to do. She required constant hand holding- I didn't have time for that shit. She will not reach out to you to ask questions. I was under the impression that if I pay someone over $2000 for a service, they perform that service for you in the manor that suits your needs. I am so disappointed in the quality of the editing. It took her 3 months to edit my pictures when she told me it would take 4 weeks. They WERE NOT EDITED AT ALL. I had to beg to get her to fix a couple acne spots I had. For the bride, all of these should be edited out. I could not believe the lack of effort showed for my wedding in comparison to all of her beautiful styled shoots and blog postings. Also, there is not 1 picture with me and MY MOM. I was unaware that it was my job to get my mom in a picture with me. I kept thinking she would get some of us later. Ladies, you are not paying for what you see. You are paying for what she feels she has time for. She overbooks and cannot keep up with the demands of her job. Biggest mistake of the whole wedding process.
