When we walked into Charisol to be helped by Angelica, I knew that I'd find the dress of my dreams. Her dedication as she shuffled through countless dresses to find the one that fit my descriptions reassured me that I was in good hands. With the wedding in just few months, both my husband and I were nervous that we won't find the right dress in time. However, both Angelica and Kimberly (owner of the boutique) were absolutely amazing with making recommendations and accommodating my requests. With both dress collections and services timely and excellent, I would like to thank them for giving me my dream wedding dress.When we walked into Charisol to be helped by Angelica, I knew that I'd find the dress of my dreams. I cannot say enough amazing things about Charisol Bridal – Kimberley saved the day with my dresses! I purchased my gown in Miami FL, but live in Queens NY. Since I could not get back to Miami for alterations – I needed to find someone in NY who could help. Kimberley did more than just help, she truly made the alteration process so easy and was so sweet and helpful! She ended up helping me with 3 dresses – and when I was done all fit perfectly. It was such a pleasure going to Charisol for my fittings, I felt very well taken care of! I highly recommend buying your dress at Charisol – from what I could see they had a beautiful selection of gowns and Kimberley will make you feel very well taken care of!I cannot say enough amazing things about Charisol Bridal – Kimberley saved the day with my dresses! I have met with Kim the owner, and Celine. These women are like fairy God mothers. I have found the perfect lace gown from their boutique. The women helped me with the ideas to customize the gown, and did the alterations for me. On the wedding day, my gown fit me like a glove. My guests can not stop asking me about the dress. On my wedding day, everyone asked me to give them my gown as soon as the reception is over. I would return here with all my friends. These women are the best.I have met with Kim the owner, and Celine. These women are like fairy God mothers. I have found the perfect lace gown from their boutique. Charisol was recommended by a friend who also found her wedding dress here. This was the 3rd (AND LAST) place I went to to look for my wedding gown!
I worked with Celine and Stephanie, who were both angels. I had a good idea about the style and fit I wanted for a dress, but Celine brought out one dress I wasn't too sure about. She suggested that I try it on anyway. Lo and behold...it was THE ONE! Somehow she knew I was a simple girl and so she picked out a simple dress with very subtle details that brought the dress to life. We added on a beaded sash and it just brought the whole thing together.
After putting on a sample veil and holding the bouquet, I started to get emotional. So much so that the staff began to share my joy and joined in with the tears!
The day of the wedding, I got many comments on how flattering the dress was on me. I, myself, am very self-conscious and hard on myself about my looks, but I felt so beautiful the day of. Looking at my wedding photos, I actually believe that I looked beautiful in that dress =) Celine & her team have a great eye for fashion! They know what they're doing!
The staff are amazing and very supportive. They are very clear and thorough with each client and make what could be a very stressful time in a girl's life very calm.

From start to finish working with Charisol was an amazing experience. I highly recommend making an appointment and looking for your wedding dress here. I bought my dress and veil from Charisol and I could not have been happier. The sales team and alterations really went out of their way. Everything was perfect, and the prices are very reasonable.
I did not find the alterations to be expensive and if you feel they are please know you in the most professional hands and Kim is worth every penny for her work. My dress fit like it had been made just for me. Her perfectionism shows in every picture. I had my wedding in August 2013 and used Charisol as my 'wedding consultant'. Not sure if many people are aware, but Charisol is more than just a bridal dress shop, they offer wedding packages that includes the dress, photography, makeup and hair, floral work (for bouquets and boutonniere), tux and groom's shoes. You can also customize it to include videography, floral work for the reception and ceremony, etc. in your package. I never thought I'd be the type of person to do a package deal, but I was sold after hearing friends rave about Kimberly's work (the owner). She hooks you up with high quality vendors with excellent style. I can't tell you how easy she made my wedding planning be! And prices are reasonable-much cheaper than hiring each vendor separately.
I worked with Kimberly most of the time and she is amazing to work with! While most dress shops try to sell me every dress I try on, Kimberly actually tells you the truth if something looks good or not. There's no BS-and it's the type of professionalism and honesty I really appreciate. I think I went to at least 15 other shops around Manhattan, Queens, and Long Island - and this was the only place with style and sincerity. Some bridal shops will rush you out before the scheduled hour is even over and will judge you within the first few minutes if you are serious about buying right then and there, and if they think you're not ready to make a decision right then and there, they rush you out! Not here!
Charisol is in Queens-but for those who live in Manhattan-the shop is only a 3 minute walk from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station (a 20 minute ride from Penn Station).
For the excellent style, service, and reasonable package and dress pricing, this shop is hard to beat! I highly recommend Charisol!

Its the place to go and get a dress... you make an appointment and you will have enough privacy and no pressure to buy anything. I found the right dress there and they were very professional. Had a great experience finding my wedding dress at Charisol Bridal. The space is beautiful and service friendly and professional. Lots of dresses with lace, beading and romantic features. Communication was done via phone calls and texts, and Charisol was very responsive always. I had two fittings and the final dress was pressed and bagged perfectly. I thought alterations were a bit on the expensive side given I didn't have much to alter (just bustling, bra cups and one added hook), but I guess if that's an issue you can always go somewhere else to do it. Overall, I highly recommend checking Charisol out for your wedding dress.Had a great experience finding my wedding dress at Charisol Bridal. I came to Charisol Bridal in search for a wedding gown and I did find a couple of options. Unfortunately, I did not purchase my gown from them since the sizes they carry did not fit me (largest size they carry is 10 and I am a 14) and it was hard for me to tell if the dress was truly for me. Although I purchased my gown somewhere else, I came to Charisol Bridal for alterations. My dress was a two layer dress from Maggie Sottero. The first layer is a satin slip and the second layer was all ivory lace. Unfortunately, the bridal store I bought my dress from did not inform me that I should have bought the petite version so the dress was very long on me and required a lot of work to get it shortened. Kim did a superb job! She worked with me and was patient with me to make sure I felt comfortable in my dress. I needed the dress to be shortened, taken in on some areas, and let out in the hips. As anyone would know lace is delicate and requires a lot of work. The dress came out beautiful and I couldn't have felt more beautiful.I came to Charisol Bridal in search for a wedding gown and I did find a couple of options. Kimberly of Charisol was a delight to work with. I had randomly stumbled upon her shop and there is a good selection of dresses to choose from. You sort of need to know what style you are looking for when you walk in so she can help you narrow down the selection. Make sure you schedule an appointment before showing up as she will turn you away if she is with another client. After selecting a dress, I went back again with my mom and sister for their approval and placed an order. Kimberly is very easy to talk to and will try to give you a small discount if you ask. When the dress came in I went in for three fittings and the dress was beautiful and fit well. The only problem for me was that I lost a little too much weight in the last month and would have liked to have had the final fitting about two weeks before the wedding and not four weeks before but Kimberly insisted the final fitting had to be earlier. All was fine though because we separately asked her to design cap sleeves for my gown and with it, my dress held in place quite nicely and it completed the look. In total, including the alteration costs, I probably spent more than I would have liked, but I was very happy with the dress and received a lot of compliments.
My bridal party also ordered their dresses from her. Note to brides looking for bridesmaid dresses, it is hard to order dresses when she only carries samples in larger sizes. She measures everyone and then recommends a size you should order. On my wedding nite though, the bustle stitches to my dress came out while I was dancing. I love dancing, and at some point I noticed that the dress was no longer bustled, so the train was on the floor. It didn't matter, because the dress still looked gorgeous, but I would encourage other brides to make sure that their bustle stitches are more secure. Plus, the bra pads on my mother's dress came loose. We just pulled them out and chucked them and she still looked great, but it shouldn't have happened. Tiffani doesn't do the sewing; the boutique owner, Kim, does the sewing, and she seemed great thruout the process, but the sewing just didn't hold up.Tiffani at Charisol was so helpful with wedding. Plus, the bra pads on my mother's dress came loose. We just pulled them out and chucked them and she still looked great, but it shouldn't have happened. Tiffani doesn't do the sewing; the boutique owner, Kim, does the sewing, and she seemed great thruout the process, but the sewing just didn't hold up. -

I found this bridal boutique online. I originally wanted to rent my dress. Unfortunately at a size 14 they didn't rent that big. In the end it worked out perfectly because I found the dress of my dreams. Tiffany and all the staff were great. I shopped around, got different prices and they even matched the lowest price. There was a problem with the jacket I ordered and they fixed that right away with no hassle to me. In addition to the dress and jacket I bought my head piece there. This shop has a great selection and great prices. But of the stores I visited, this was a less helpful experience than any other stores in the area. I told my consultant that I wanted a Maggie Sottero, and probably something fairly fitted, and not to big and poofy – and she brought me a ball gown. The entire appointment, I had a feeling she was just trying to get me to try on what she thought would look best on me, rather than what I was actually telling her I was looking for. And as a result, I tried on several things that I wouldn't have even considered, then listened to her telling me that it was the perfect dress. Also, when I was done trying on each dress, the consultant casually threw them to the side to make room for the next dress. This doesn't affect me personally, but it seemed very unprofessional to just toss a $2000 dress over the chair, rather than taking the ten seconds to hang it back up.This shop has a great selection and great prices. BUYER BEWARE! They're extremely nice to you during your dress selection then service quickly dwindles after that
The dress I bought fit well and the only alteration I needed was to hem the length. At my first alteration appoint, I stood there for 1.5 hours as they measured the length I needed, it looked fine. Second alteration when I tried it on, my entire right foot was showing! They hemmed it crooked and too short on the right side. I asked them to do a simple fix and to just sew a couple inches on that side to match the left side. Last night I attended my third dress fitting and they deconstructed my entire dress then replaced the second lining with a very cheap material that cling to your body. My wedding is 5 weeks away and now I have no dress.

Avoid. Beware future brides.
I purchased a wedding gown from Charisol Bridal and the store's own tailor had completed a hemming job on my dress on my sleeves and the bottom of the skirt. Dissatisfied with the job they had provided me with, I decided to pick up the dress from Charisol Bridal to have it looked at by another independent tailor.
Upon trying the dress on at the new tailor's, I noticed the hemline at the bottom was uneven with a portion of it at the front shorter than the rest (SEE PHOTO). I also found a stain on the front of the dress even though I have not taken the dress out of the original bag until that time. I reached out to the manager at Charisol Bridal who told me that there is nothing she could offer to mend the issue rather than to "listen to [us]" over the phone.
I asked for a better solution and the manager later called back offering two solutions for the problem:
1) provide me with the refund for the tailoring job, which is $450 OR
2) order an entirely new gown from the designer. I opted to get the full refund of $450 for the tailoring since the wedding was very close and I will be out of the country for a full month before then. The manager was made aware and had agreed to refund me a full amount of $450 + any cleaning fee for the stain. She proceeded to take my credit card number down for the refund which I provided.
I was contacted the day after (today 4/12/19) by "Mike" from the shop (owner) saying that this is not their responsibility and that they have contacted the designer for a new dress. I was very upset and dissatisfied that 1) they did not offer me the refund that they had offered even after taking my credit card information over the phone 2) they have requested a new dress to be shipped from the designer fully aware that the bride will be unavailable and WITHOUT ASKING ME.
At this time, I am left with a bill from my new tailor of $700 to undo all the previous tailoring done at Charisol Bridal and to tailor the dress all over again with Charisol Bridal Boutique refusing to refund me any money for the botched tailoring job they had done.
UPDATE: just called the shop to make a quick visit at the shop to resolve the issue in person, my mom started the conversation pleasantly, then Mike the owner asked "What do you want for your wedding?" and when my mom began to answer, he cut her off constantly, infuriating my mother. My mom asked "why do you ask us what we want if you are not going to listen?" he replied "resolve this matter on YOUR OWN" really? my mom got upset, things got heated up and then he started accusing my mother of using INFORMAL KOREAN LANGUAGE. Done with even trying to put up with their refusal to admit to their own mistakes.
