This review is long overdo! Teri and her team drove from the Bay up to Tahoe to do makeup & hair for our wedding. They were on time and got right to work. Everyone looked amazing and I couldn’t have been happier with my bridesmaids hair and makeup. The night of the event people noticed how natural my makeup looked and my hair stayed in it's style all night long which is saying ALOT because I have fine straight hair that literally always falls out after an hour. I cannot recommend Charismatic Bride enough! -

Teri Lacro was BEYOND amazing! She was communicative with me the whole time during the wedding process.
She made sure that I sent her pictures of how the girls wanted her hair and made sure she was able to complete their hairstyle before telling me yes. She is such a good hearted person, and she is really good at her job! You can tell she's been doing this for years, and years, I got so many compliments on my makeup and my hair! As well as did my bridesmaids!
I would absolutely recommend her to anybody that asks. They would be so lucky to have Teri work on them. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. She was truly amazing and super professional, And very timely as well!
If I have anything in the future, when I need my hair and makeup done I will definitely be giving her a call! Thanks Teri!! U are absolutely AMAZING! i really just can't say it enough times :) -

Teri is seriously the BEST and a DREAM to work with. I never wear makeup and have exactly one hair style I know how to do so I was not the ideal client. Teri was exceedingly patient, kind, and understanding. She educated me on all my options making sure I felt completely comfortable with my choices. In the end I felt beautiful, got tons of compliments, and still like myself. My makeup held up after i cried ugly tears walking down the aisle and for the rest of the night. She was easy to talk to and SO SO skilled, I hit the jackpot! Teri was timely the day of, really well prepared, and kept us all on schedule too. All my girls loved their looks and even my mom who hates makeup said she felt beautiful that day. She just moved up to the Sacramento area so is working in both the Bay Area and Sac area for now (so if you found her multiple regions listed a bit confusing at first like I did, that is why :-) ). I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding MUAH stylist, you will not be disappointed. -

Easy and Beautifully Done
I was having a hard time finding someone who I felt would be a good fit for my wedding makeup, but when I saw Teri’s work and talked to her I knew she was who I wanted to work with. She was great at getting back to me, was very patient, and was super friendly. She was able to do exactly what I wanted for my hair and makeup and answered all of my questions, no matter how tiny or insignificant they were. I normally don’t wear makeup, so she was able to give me an elevated natural look, which I appreciated because I still looked like myself. We used the airbrush for the makeup, which was great because it didn’t feel like I was wearing a lot of makeup. She also did my moms makeup and hair and it looked fantastic! Overall amazing and would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding or any other event. Will definitely use again in the future for special events. -

Teri and team did an amazing job with not only mine, but my wedding parties hair & make up. I love that she was able to do both hair & makeup and travel to my venue. She brought in a partner to help with hair since there were so many of us, and she also did amazing. They were both able to achieve the looks all my girls were looking for.
Also, Teri was super understanding, empathetic and accommodating when I had to reschedule my wedding twice.
Highly recommend!! -

Teri is amazing to work with and a joy to be around!
Teri was hired to do hair and make-up for both our reveal and our wedding. Each time she was timely, professional, and amazing. From the very first point of contact, I could tell that Teri was going to be a wonderful addition to the team helping to bring together a fabulous day for my husband and I. There was no request or little detail which she was unable to respond to or provide. I wish I had an event to go to every weekend, just so that I could have Teri come by. She is a joy to be around AND she knows how to make everyone look and feel their best. Thank you for being a part of our special day Teri. -

If you're here browsing reviews for a hair and makeup artist for your upcoming nuptials... congrats your search is over, stop what you are doing and hire Teri now. Teri and her team are so talented at what they do. She listened to what I wanted and didn't want, and absolutely nailed the final look. There is no better feeling than having full confidence that your hair and makeup will stay in place all night. It's one less thing you need to worry about on your big day and that feeling is worthevery penny. I can't recommend Charasmatic Bride enough. -

From the minute I spoke with Teri, I knew she was the one I wanted to work with for my wedding. After my makeup trial, it only reaffirmed my decision because she did such an amazing trial. She was even flexible with the contract given one of my bridesmaids backed out due to COVID, and was happy to update my contract.
When it came to the big day, I was even more blown away by her and Lien's work. The bridesmaids and mom's all looked beautiful, and every one of them was so happy with their hair and makeup for the big day. Teri and Lien were also fun to hang out with while getting ready, and that's just as important since you spend 8+ hours with them that day! They arrived right on time, and worked their butts off the entire day.
I have honestly never felt more beautiful, and that is all thanks to Teri and Lien. I've had my makeup done for other weddings, and she does not compare to what she did for mine. I would 100% recommend her to anyone I know because she is such a talented artist, and an absolute pleasure to work with. -

Teri is amazing! She did a trial run of my makeup and hair for my wedding and I loved it! I got so many compliments at my bridal shower. Unfortunately we had to postpone due to COVID and let me tell you - Teri has been super responsive, understanding and flexible. Can’t wait to use her for the wedding!! -

Charismatic Bride - Supportive/Intuitive
Teri/Charismatic Bride is a MUST HAVE for your wedding day or special event. Teri did my hair and makeup for my wedding day and had a precise intuition for the vibe/style that I was trying to achieve, and was wonderful at making adjustments based on my most vague and obscure requests. I did a trial with Teri a few months before my wedding day and found two looks that I loved, but ended up going with a different hairstyle the day of. Teri was able to make the change seamlessly. I was so happy I completed the trial beforehand because it left me confident with my final decision on my wedding day. My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup looks as well. Teri was a pillar in our get ready time before the wedding and brought a sense of calm to the group. I recommend her 100 out of 10! -

Beautiful Work and Great Listener
Teri/Charismatic Bride was an absolute joy to work with. After comparing several vendors online, I went with Teri because she was seemed to understand exactly what I envisioned for my wedding and she was well-versed in retro makeup and hair. I first met her when my mom and I went for my makeup trial. Teri was fantastic! She was such a good listener and did an amazing job translating what I described to her into a reality. She gave me tips on makeup and helped me understand what would work best on my big day.
Between hiring Teri and the wedding she was communicative, responsive, and great at reminding me of details. She sent a detailed description with what she needed from myself and the bridal party to make the day go smoothly and she was flexible with communication style (texting, email, calls, etc.).
On the day of the wedding, Teri was punctual and ready for anything. She brought a team consisting of two other great artists to help get my entourage ready and the team worked really well together. Teri never lost track of time, she was articulate and in-charge of her entire operation. She was kind and understanding of me (I was nervous and hungry).
As for the work she did, it was amazing! My hair and makeup were stunning and I couldn't believe how they lasted the entire night! I think I had my makeup done at around 11am and the party ended at midnight. My makeup was still perfect at midnight! She did give me a touch-up kit, which I kept in my clutch the entire evening and used to fix makeup before any formal photos.
The bridal party also looked amazing. I requested retro hairstyles (we had a couple of victory rolls and some pin curls and even a chignon knot!). I couldn't have asked for a better artist on my special day and I would recommend Teri wholeheartedly. -

Great Experience With Teri & Team
Charismatic Bride did such an amazing job for my wedding! I booked hair and makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and 3 moms, as well as as some light ‘touch up’ makeup for the groom. Because we had so many services to get through, I worked with Teri to schedule 2 additional artists to cut down on time. When I met with her for a trial session, she was so great at walking me through different options and making sure we got to the exact look that I wanted. Teri and her team did such an amazing job of keeping things on track the day of which took away so much stress. Everyone looked so beautiful, and despite the 85+ degree summer weather, our hair and makeup lasted all day. -

Teri is a very talented HMUA. She is prompt, patient, offers suggestions when asked, and delivers! She had my bridesmaids and I looking fabulous and on schedule, too! I needed some help figuring out the best way to style my hair for the big day and (after discussion) Teri was able to create something even better than I had imagined! I drove on the freeway at 65mph with the top down between the ceremony and reception and my hair was still intact and looked great in all of my photos! I would highly recommend Teri and her team for your big day! -

Teri is a very talented lady. She will take your ideas and perfect them. I am so happy I had the opportunity to work with Teri Lacro, and I will definitely hire her again for any hair and makeup services.
Teri and her assistant showed up 100% for my girls and me on my wedding day. They provided hair and makeup services for four of my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law, and aunt. We were all glowing by the time Teri and her assistant were done with our hair and makeup. I could not believe my eyes when I saw my finish look. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and I know it was my wedding day but I honestly felt that Teri made me look flawless. I was beyond happy her services. Teri is also a very sweet and kind lady to work with. I would recommend her to any bride! -

They arrived the morning of, on time (which is huge for a super type A stress case like me) and they immediately got to work setting up. They were both so easy going, professional, and made me feel so calm all morning. I would absolutely recommend Teri to any bride that wants to look beautiful on her big day!

We both agreed on make-up and hair right away, which was great. She also did my bridesmaid's hair and make-up day of the wedding along with the hair of my flower girl. The girls were happy with their looks! Teri was professional, warm, kind, accommodating, and most importantly, listened to what my girls and I wanted done. I highly recommend Teri!

Teri and her team truly gave me the tools to feel confident and beautiful for my special day! Teri is very talented and takes the time to ensure that you and your bridesmaids not only look great but feel great. Even with doing 9 people’s hair and make up, we were ahead of schedule! Aside from the amazing work and overall professionalism, we had an amazing and FUN experience getting ready throughout the day! In addition, everyone’s hair and make up lasted all day and all night🙌🏼 I would recommend her to all my friends who are bride-to-be’s. -

Teri and her crew were amazing to work with on my wedding day. I had the privilege of having my hair and makeup done by Teri at a previous wedding and my husband-to-be could not stop raving about how beautiful I looked. So when it was my turn to get married, hiring Teri was the obvious choice. You can tell Teri has plenty of experience and is ready to handle anything throughout the day. She has great advice for indecisive brides and was able to keep my crazy group of girls on schedule throughout the wedding morning. Teri does an amazing job elevating your natural look. As someone who doesn't normally wear a lot of makeup, she does a great job finding that balance where you look flawless for photos but you still feel like yourself. Thank you for making me look stunning on my wedding day!
