One Word - Phenomenal
Chantal was a lifesaver. From the moment that I met with her I was impressed. Chantal is professional and a delight to work with. She executed my wedding flawlessly and the decor and vendor selection was perfect. Hunter and I are so ever grateful and we appreciate all of your hard work. -

Wow, just Wow
Was a guest at a friends wedding done by Chantal's and it was Outstanding. The food, decor, and D.J. was something to be in Awe. Going to recommend Chantal's to my daughter when the day comes. -

I highly recommend Chantal!
Chantal planned a relative's wedding a few months ago. We were impressed with her professionalism and organization. From start to finish, she exceeded our expectations. The venue was absolutely stunning! Her attention to detail was so appreciated during this busy and short time frame we had to work with. I highly recommend Chantal's Wedding Planners for any event. Our guests are still raving about it! -

Chantal’s services were above and beyond what I expected. Although my mom was the one in contact with her every single day for months, my mom had only amazing things to say about how helpful, knowledgeable, responsive and courteous Chantal was through the entire process. She made sure to get to know my mom to figure out exactly what she wanted to get it right. Her recommendations for food, table setups, a DJ, etc. were spot on. Even through the wedding she remained calm and collected to ensure that my mom was stress free (even if something out of her control wasn’t going smoothly). 10/10 would recommend -

Perfection!
Our wedding was the most magical day of my life thanks to Chantal and her team. Chantal made sure every detail was perfect and that our day was completely stress-free. Chantal connected us with top-notch vendors who were just as professional and amazing as her. My guests were so impressed with Chantal and several have called me to let me know. I can be pretty picky and detail-oriented but Chantal was on top of it throughout our entire process. It’s safe to say everyone loved Chantal! -

Chantal is the fairy god mother every wedding needs! She did amazing! our wedding day was perfect because of Chantal and the hard work of her Team. She was with me every step of the way, every vendor meeting and every planning event. She helped guide me throughout the whole wedding planning process. She truly made our dream wedding come true. Every event in my life I will use Chantal. I recommend her Highly! 5 Stars is not enough to rate how perfect she is. -

Chantal and her team were helpful every step of the way- finding vendors, checking in frequently, establishing cohesive timelines, contacting vendors, and decorating the venue to the nines!
I had no idea where to begin when I started planning, but Chantal and Amanda held my hand every step of the way. They gave me ideas that I would have never thought of, but still kept my budget in mind. The team was very professional but never lost their personality. They are truly a blast!
When I walked into my venue the day of, I was so extremely happy. The magic duo put all the pieces together perfectly. I could not have had my dream wedding with out them. :) -

We wanted a wedding in our yard that was classier than any venue. It wasn't easy, we had to get everything, from tents to chairs, silverware, everything you could imagine. She pulled it off. We had the best food, decor, it was beautiful. Her team was always there to help and get the job done. Thank you Chantal. -

Chantal and her team brought their A game! They were amazing and the work they did was priceless! From the start Chantal really understood my vision and did everything she could to help make it a reality. She has recommendations for florists, the best bakeries, and even hair & makeup stylists! She helped me plan my wedding at The Halls of St George while I was living in San Diego. It was such a relief to know I could count on her. She really helped make the planning process a smooth one and she was always available immediately to answer any questions I had. The best part though is that she genuinely cares about your event. It was as if she was another sister who really wanted to make sure all my wedding Pinterest dreams came true! I recommend Chantal to everyone! Weddings are work and Chantal and her team gives you the best wedding gift....time to actually enjoy your wedding day without worrying about any details. This is a wedding expense worth every penny!

Our hearts were set on draping from the ceiling and 2 days before the event the hall informed Chantal that they couldn't put it up. Chantal came up with a plan B within a couple of hours. Everything looked beautiful. She put up an entrance draping, draping on the stage behind the head table and bistro lights. We also had uplighting, chair covers and table linens. She really listened and completed the vision we had. I'm an extremely satisfied customer! -

My husband and I got married when we were 20 and did not have a wedding. We toyed with the idea of renewing our vows, but weren't quite sure as our daughter was on her way to college and we were concerned about cost. A couple months ago, we found a venue and noticed some draping done by Chantal's Wedding Planners. I called her and she agreed to meet with us immediately, as there was not much time until our event. From the moment we met Chantal until the day of our event, she constantly reminded us, "This is your day"..."Whatever you guys want"..."What do you need?" On the day of our event, Chantal and her staff were prompt and transformed the venue so that it was breathtakingly beautiful! We really wanted two different looks for the ceremony and reception and Chantal and her staff removed the ceremony decorations and set up for the reception in 1/2 hour!! I am so grateful to Chantal's Wedding Planners for going above and beyond to make our day special. If you want friendly, professional, beyond your wildest dreams party or wedding planning, you would be wise to contact Chantal's Wedding Planners! -

When we first started planning my daughter's wedding, I wasn't convinced that we needed a wedding planner. Now, I can't image having done it without Chantal and her team! She was with us every step of the way, from planning tastings to the day of the wedding preparations. My daughter didn't have a traditional venue, so we had to bring EVERYTHING in .... from chairs, to linens, to a portable bar, caterer, etc. Chantal handled it all! I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter's big day. I would definitely recommend Chantal's Wedding & Event Planners. -

Chantal was the event planner for my niece's baby shower. Chantal is friendly and professional. She was involved in all the decorations, games, favors etc. She had excellent suggestions. On the day of the event Chantal was there on time & helped with the decorations, table & food arrangements. Her 2 associates Amy & Rebecca were very helpful. They made the guests comfortable. Chantal had the party going smoothly without any hitches. She had fun games & activities planned. All my guests had a great time. I will be enrolling Chantal's services for all my future parties. She made it stress free & made sure all had a good time. -

My fiance and I got married on May 26, 2012 and we hired Chantal as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding. We met with Chantal twice before the rehearsal and wedding. Chantal met with us at our final meeting with our venue and provided extremely helpful suggestions about how to make our day perfect. For example, Chantal suggested that the venue provide champagne and hors dourves in the bridal suite, which I'm not sure the venue would have done on its own. This was an excellent idea and one that I would not have know to ask for myself.
Chantal was equally well equipped to handle our wedding rehearsal - she knew exactly where everyone should be, she listened to me, and she made sure the plans I already had in place were followed.
Chantal was also responsible for setting up all of my decor on the day of the wedding. My venue looked amazing. She and her helpers did an excellent job of doing everything I wanted on the day of my wedding. I loved having a day of coordinator that I could rely on to make my day perfect without having to worry about the gritty details myself. Chantal also made it possible for my mother to relax and have a good time. She was prompt, excited, professional and extremely courteous. I would definitely recommend Chantal's services for both the chicagoland and northwest Indiana areas. -

Displeased bride and groom
This is the third time I’m rewriting my review. It was somehow deleted twice before I was able to post it. Not sure if it was too long or just too honest. I want future brides to be well informed before making the important and pricey decision to hire this wedding planner.
Chantal is a nice enough lady but she has a lot of learning and growing to do. Controlling her facial expressions and not cutting people off while they’re speaking is a start. Professionalism and customer satisfaction should be her priority and NOT lying to HER clients for vendors cuz they’re “friends” (her words). An upgrade to her presence and a stronger work ethic wouldn’t hurt either...so no more jokingly calling the bride inappropriate names.
Chantal disappeared at the end of the night and guests were breaking down til she reappeared. And there wasn’t a helper with her like she said she would bring.
Believe me when I say, I prayed about this review for over three months. I do have some positive things to say so it’s not all bad. Amanda, Chantal’s administrative assistant, was friendly and helpful and the DJ that was referred to us was good. Chantal came through big time when I had a vendor cancel on me two days before the wedding and she found a great replacement. But BRIDES BEWARE!...if Chantal refers Chris from Party People Entertainment for any services, she IS NOT looking out for your best interest. Pay the extra money to find someone professional and accountable but don’t waste your time on her “friend.”
The bottom line is, Chantal was hired to make our special day stress free, drama free and work free. Sadly, that was not entirely the case. -
