Incredibly wonderful overall experience!
The team at Changing Lanes has been nothing but amazing since day one of meeting them. As a wedding planner, I plan to continue to refer them to my clients. They have been flexible and patient with the back and forth that comes about in the planning and booking process. They were available to chat through big or small questions at the drop of a hat. And most of all their kindness rang through the entire experience. At the end of the day it felt more like working with friends than a typical vendor/planner relationship. -

Excellent Wedding Band
We had The HeadLiners, part of Changing Lanes, as the band for our wedding and they were awesome! They played a great set with many different types of music that had us and our guests dancing the whole night, and knew our first dance, father-daughter, and mother-son songs too. CJ was very responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding even with all the little last-minute questions. Thank you CJ and Changing Lanes! -

Amazing Band!

Amazing Experience
I’m not going to lie guys, I was a bit of a bridezilla and A LOT went wrong on my big day! Changing Lanes was the ONLY vendor I didn’t have ANY issues with! They over-delivered and made my wedding so much better! So grateful that I didn’t have to worry about them and p.s my wedding turned out just fine 😉 My guests wouldn’t stop complimenting me on my dress and venue, but most of all the band!
Stop thinking about who to go with and book them NOW! You won’t regret it. -

We had The Headliners and Changing Lanes bands perform at our wedding in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The band was out of this world! So energetic, great sound- one of the best wedding bands i've heard heard. CJ- the band manager- was so easy to work with, professional and considerate of our budget. I would hire them again in a second! If you want an amazing sounding band who will have your guests dancing all night long you need to hire The Headliners and Changing Lanes! -

Changing Lanes was such an unexpected treat! When I heard my cousin was having a party band at her wedding I thought “Oh goodness!” Turns out Changing Lanes was everything I never expected. I have NEVER experienced a reception party like the one they made yesterday! They had music for everyone; my family and friends are very diverse! Because of Changing Lanes I will expect so much more from a party Band and when my special day comes around I know where my first stop will be for entertainment!!! Rockstar Band! -

What an incredible band! Changing Lanes is unlike any party band you’ve ever seen. Their catalogue of music is extremely diverse. They even put their own spin on everything which makes all the songs you love more fun and exciting. They are able to engage an crowd like I’ve never seen. Instead of an awkward empty dance floor, everyone is one big unified family having the time of their lives. Trust me, you want this band! People will be talking about this wedding for YEARS! Saw them at a friend’s wedding, and I was blown away by their high level of performance! The whole time, the band kept the crowd engaged and dancing. Changing Lanes Experience was the best decision I made for my wedding! In the beginning, I couldn't decide between a DJ and Changing Lanes then I spoke to CJ and he was so engaging with me he made sure our wedding was set to the best music for our memories. I was able to pick all the special songs I wanted and when they played them they sounded just like if not better than the originals. If you are having a hard time deciding as well take it from me Changing Lanes is the best choice! Da'Jon came down on the floor and made sure to sing and dance with my handicapped cousin, he made her night!
Thanks, Da'Jon! A DJ wouldn't be able to actually sing a song to the guests while dancing with them. Make amazing memories with Changing Lanes. -

Hands down THE BEST wedding band ever! We still get comments from our guests a year later about how amazing Changing Lanes was at our wedding. CJ and the team took excellent care of us and they played their hearts out. I can't recommend them enough if you are looking for a full dance floor before dinner even begins! -

The Changing Lanes Experience performed at my nieces' wedding! They were absolutely phenomenal! Incredible talent, powerhouse voices and a song list with everything you could ever imagine!
The band was personal, friendly and danced with everyone! I don't know where they get the energy but they sure amazed us!
If you need a live band to celebrate your big day- Changing Lanes Experience is what you want! Money well spent! -

Oh my goodness! These amazing individuals instantly had us out of our seats! :) They played every song that was requested and interacted with the guests. They were funny yet professional and I would highly recommend them to not only weddings, but to business gatherings and other events as well.
Very pleased and thankful for the Changing Lanes Experience. -

Changing Lanes Experience is one of the most fantastic bands I have ever heard, and I feel so fortunate that we were able to have them at our wedding! They brought all of the guests to the dance floor from the very beginning of the evening until the last song, and they were so engaging and fun for our entire group. Our wedding simply would not have been as fun and memorable both for us and our guests without having them there; I would highly recommend Changing Lanes Experience to any couple who is looking to have a fantastic wedding event! -

My experience having changing lanes at my wedding was nothing short of wonderful. Having a band there to play not only the music that was requested, but also add in many favorites to keep the excitement and energy going was exactly what was needed. I recommend CJ and his group to anyone looking to enhance and complete their wedding while making memories to last a lifetime!!

Threw the best party imaginable! They are a super fun band and fulfilled all our requests without asking for any extra payment or anything. Honestly the best decision we made in wedding planning :) -

Absolutely amazing
I had an amazing wedding all thanks to cj, me and my wife were upset about covid-19 ruining our wedding plans this year but when we got in contact with cj he let us know it wouldn't be a problem and he put everything together in a safe timely manner. The band was absolutely amazing ,everyone had a great time and somehow everything was better than what we had originally planned, thanks allot CJ, I will recommend to everyone. -

This band's performance is AMAZING! They know how to get everyone on the dance floor and keep the party going. The only thing they can improve on is the business side of things: Preparation and planning, organization, documentation, contracts, and follow up. I felt like I was managing them instead of them owning it and providing me with the full service not just a performance. I would recommend them to anyone, but with full disclosure that you will need to keep track of EVERYTHING to ensure you hold them accountable and get what you pay for. -

Non-communicative, stressful to work with & highly unprofessional
Based on our own experience, we would strongly discourage anyone from working with Changing Lanes. If you want good communication, a wedding day centered around the music you like, not what the band leader wants, and an empathetic vendor to work with, in our own experience, you will find none of these things in CJ and Changing Lanes Entertainment Group. CJ, the band leader of Changing Lanes and manager of Changing Lanes Entertainment Group, made the wedding planning process even more stressful and difficult than we ever could have imagined. We were going to use Changing Lanes for our September 2020 wedding and when we had to postpone due to COVID-19, we could not get in touch with CJ. In all our attempts to communicate with him we informed him of our new date - the only one available next year given these unprecedented times. He failed to respond to our texts, emails, and calls and by the time we heard from him (months later) he informed us that he was unable to perform on our new wedding date. Rather than express empathy and kindness during these stressful times, CJ made it feel like it was our fault that we could no longer work together because we didn’t plan our wedding around his schedule. He even went so far as to suggest we move the date of our wedding, despite the fact that all our other vendors were able to work with the new date. He then proceeded to tell us that he “doesn’t do weddings for the bride and groom, he does it for those in attendance” so that he can “get [his] next gig.” This was in stark contrast to all our other wedding vendors who were understanding, flexible, communicative, and empathetic to our need to replan the wedding due to COVID-19. In our experience working with CJ, he made it very clear he doesn’t care about those getting married beyond the financial gain he can get from them. He took our deposit without giving a penny back. If you want a communicative, responsive, professional working to make your day unique and special to you and the planning of it stress-free - look elsewhere and ask how they handled their clients during this global pandemic. -
