Made our Elopement Easy and Carefree
From our first call with Chance we knew we were in good hands. We eloped in Nashville but were coming in from Colorado - so, we didn't know anything about Tennessee laws / licensing etc. . He advised us on those issues but also in so many other ways. He takes time to meet initially with you either in person or via Zoom just to make sure you're comfortable with him and his services. He helped us shape our ceremony and our vows - all with great humor and sincere concern to make sure your special day is exactly what you want. We are forever grateful to Chance and recommend him without reservation. Oh, and he's a great dresser! -

Simple yet personal
Chance was referred to us by our wedding planner, and we immediately knew that he was the right match for our wedding. Chance is an officiant who was able to honor our Jewish traditions in a highly Christian area (Nashville, TN). He asked us questions about what we wanted included in our ceremony, but he also had a template guide so that we didn't have to devise our ceremony from nothing. He also helped us in terms of looking at our vows and making sure they had a similar and appropriate tone. Chance was friendly and funny and very responsive. He is a great option as an officiant whether you want a traditional ceremony or anything else under the moon. -

Chance has a special niche to be an officiant. His friendly, fun personality makes meeting him and working with him a total breeze. Chance put a lot of thought and detail into coaching my husband and I through the ceremony process. He knew how to prep us for the big day and helped us write the vows perfect for us. He is simply fantastic at what he does. -

We hired Chance to marry us and he was awesome. See, we had been planning to use a close friend as an officiant. We thought we'd get him ordained online easily, as we wanted someone who knew both of us to officiate our wedding. Unfortunately TN law changed a month or two before our wedding that made online-ordained ministers invalid officiants, so we needed a new officiant last minute. Enter Chance! We had seen him officiate another friends' wedding recently and we called him up and explained our situation. We worked out the perfect plan with him and our vendor, where he married us "officially" at our wedding rehearsal, while we still had our close friend preside on the big day. It was perfect and Chance was so sweet and flexible. He's the best! -

My husband and I were hesitant to hire someone who didn't know us to perform our ceremony, yet we didn't know anyone who we wanted to do it, as we are not very religious and do not belong to a church. I heard such good reviews about Chance, so I set up a time to meet.
From the very first meeting, Chance was already getting to know us as individuals and as a couple, asking us questions and feeling out our style. We had teetered between doing a religious ceremony for our families, even though that's not really us, and he respectfully encouraged us to do what we felt represented our relationship, as it was our marriage. That moment told me that Chance was just right for us.
He helped us tremendously with the planning process, skyping and emailing about our vows and how the ceremony would look. He was so knowledgeable about different ways to structure a ceremony and catered it to the situations for our family and relationship. I felt 100% confidence when the day came that he would not only make the ceremony catered to us, but make it comfortable for my now-husband and I to share such an intimate moment with 120 people! And when the day arrived, his words at the ceremony felt genuine and original, not cliche at all. So many people commented that he was not only well spoken, but seemed to know us so well!
He was timely with the marriage certificate and made sure to send us a photo in real time of him dropping it off in the mail. Such a cool and personal touch! I could not recommend him more, and I can't thank him enough for making our day so very special. -

David Sent on 12/27/2017We are from Hong Kong and had an elope wedding in Nashville. We did not know anybody in the area so I just looked up the internet for an officiant. I am a civil celebrant myself in Hong Kong, and I am pleased with the experience with Chance. He is very personable and professional. It was great and I would highly recommend the services of the "cool bearded guy"!

Katie Sent on 12/27/2017Chance’s approach is unlike what I expected from a marriage counselor. I hate personality tests but he made sure to spend time getting to know us and not just put us in a box. And it was totally worth it. He opened up our eyes to certain points we had not explored and our communication has been great because of his guidance. Without taking the time to do the premarital exploration, we may have dwelled on small issues rather than resolving them efficiently. We also had time to get to know him because he was apart of the most important piece of our wedding , the ceremony. Marriage is not easy, life is hard, but love makes it all worth it.
Thank you, Chance! We can not imagine having our ceremony and counseling without you! -

We never once felt nervous or overwhelmed and Chance covered all of the bases for us. All we had to do was show up and look pretty. We highly recommend.
