This location was the perfect place to find a wedding dress. The owner is an angel, she's so sweet, kind, and funny, and knows what she's doing. The selection of dresses was great and the price was right. 100% recommend to anyone needing to find a wedding dress. You'll have the best experience ever!

Awesome place to go to.

This place was the best place to get a dress altered. Not only professional but such nice people. We definitely will be back in the further for other fittings. Very quick on time as well. Not even a whole two weeks for her to finish. Will recommend anyone to them. Very great experience.

The best place to get your dress

I must say that when I went in this bridal shop I did not expect to purchase a dress especially under my budget. The owner Lydia was awesome!! She worked with me as for as pricing so that I can add whatever I wanted when the dress comes back. When I tried on the dresses she walked with me to the mirror and asked me for my favorite song that I can imagine playing on the first dance. She played the music and I felt everything about the dress I picked out and more!!

I would definitely recommend this place and her to anyone looking for a bridal gown on their special day.

Great Selection & Customer Service

Lydia and her team provided great service during the selection process and beyond. I always knew what was going on with my dress, and she even has connections with a very affordable and amazing seamstress. She was able to do both of my fittings In one weekend at the shop to accommodate my traveling with COVID.

Even though I chose Champagne and Lace because they were the only ones around who had the dress I wanted, I couldn't be more happier with their services!! Not only did I try my dream dress on they also helped me try on other dresses to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my decision. I also got my alterations done with them and no matter how many times I wanted something changed they were available and accommodating to my needs and requests. They may look small from the outside but their services can match anyone elses!!

The staff was wonderful and they have an amazing selection of bridal gowns. If you want someone that makes you feel like you have made a friend for life I suggest you do business with them. Words cannot describe how attentive, caring, detailed, organized, friendly, loving, and personal the staff were.

The girls here could not have been sweeter or more hwlpful. After 2 straight weeks of shopping for the perfect dress i finally said YES to the dress here and i could not have been more pleased with the service and selection offered to me by Debbie and her wonderful staff.

I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Me and my 2 friends had weddings a few weeks apart and purchased all of our gowns and bridesmaid dresses from here. They looked FANTASTIC! My recommendation is to order/ purchase your correct size, don't try to fit in a size smaller. Listen to the professionals here, especially the owner, great experience and price :)

I live in St. Louis and never imagined that I would drive out to Collinsville to find my wedding dress, but after trying on 25 dresses at four different stores, I discovered that the only two dresses I really liked were both at Champagne and Lace. It's not a large store, but they have an impressive selection of different styles. The salespeople there were very helpful, not pushy. I compared the price of my dress to the price at some other places, and I definitely got a great deal. I needed some very specific alterations, and Champagne and Lace did an excellent job. I would recommend them to any bride.

The young lady that helped us was amazing. I was terrified and super nervous but she was really helpful and helped me to calm down. She listened amazingly to what I wanted and helped me find exactly what I wanted.

I was very impressed with the service. This was my third time looking for a dress and it was a great experience compared to the others. A big part was that I didn't feel rushed to make a decision and they really wanted me to find the right dress. I highly recommend checking it out.

I bought my wedding dress from Champagne and Lace Bridal and my only regret is that I didn't also get my bridesmaids dresses from them!
They were very easy to work with and always responded to phone calls. I am an out of town bride and they were very flexible with helping me to come in at certain times and even helping to alter my dress VERY quickly so we could take it back with us instead of making another trip.
They were almost spot on with the delivery date of my dress too (still waiting on my bridesmaids dresses from another vendor and its 4 weeks after the date they gave me). I would recommend them to everyone!

I was extremely happy with my experience at Champagne and Lace. The entire staff was friendly and willing to work around my needs and schedule. I received one-on-one attention during my first appointment, and the timing allowed me to have the whole store to myself, which was a nice experience. Debbie, Melissa, and the other employees were very helpful in scheduling fittings that worked for me, as I was coming in from out of town. The selection of gowns and the service were great, and I'd recommend the shop to anyone in the area.

I am so happy I went there an bought my dress however the only thing I don't like was that they didn't have bigger size dresses for the bridesmaids to try on in the store however all in all I would highly recommend this place.

I bought my bridal gown from here because they offered me the best price and a free dress bag. The woman who waited on me was so helpful and patient. I tried on like 30 dresses before I found the perfect on. You gotta go there if you really want one-on-one attention. :)

The ladies at Champagne & Lace Bridal are fantastic! At most places you shop the employees feel more like car salesman trying to push a sale. Not at Champagne & Lace! The ladies showed me around and then gave me the space I desired to look through the dresses myself. When they noticed something I liked they would bring it directly to the fitting room for me! When it came to trying the dresses on they were very helpful and supportive! They also offer a five month layaway so you can give yourself enough time to pay the dress off instead of requiring all the money up front! That was a very nice perk of the shop! The only reason I gave Value a 4 star is because I found my same dress online for a few hundred dollars cheaper. HOWEVER, you get the convenience of physically seeing your dress and not having to worry about shipping, etc at the bridal shop. I would definitely recommend Champagne & Lace Bridal!

The people at Champagne & Lace Bridal were friendly and professional. They got me in at the last minute in which I was able to try on several beautiful dresses. The wedding dresses they have in the store are bigger sizes which made it hard to see how the dress actual fit. Overall it was a great experience. :)

I purchased my wedding dress from here. They do not do on site alterations, but you have to drive to fairview heights to get them done. So, I actually went somewhere else to get those done. When I went in I had made an appointment and instead if getting help I basically had to do everything myself because they were too focused in the people coming in with no appointments. When I came back to pick our bridesmaid dresses they actually had 2 small dogs running around the place, which I thought was very unprofessional. I also noticed that my dress was a couple hundred dollars cheaper at the place I got it altered at, so I wish I would have just bought it there.

Pretty dresses, great prices, nice employees. Would find it much more helpful though if the consultant pulled dresses for me to try on, esp when I had a pic. I was just kind of turned to the racks to pull my own.

I have to say when I went to champagne and lace I really like that they opened up the doors early for me even though I messed up the appointment date and time. The owner was helpful at first with picking out a dress and I remember looking at a lot of dresses until I found one that was perfect. With me moving and all after setting a date and time around the area I had to have not just three fittings because the last fitting was not right but four fittings and they got blood on my dress. The fourth fitting I tried on my dress and they did fix the bussle and the blood that was on it. It was a nightmare and I thought nothing was going right because a few months before than they had a fire but my dress was in a different location. After all was said and done the dress looked lovely and my wedding was a success.

I am disappointed with the service this store had provided for my entire wedding party. We visited the store when it was in a temporary location and at first I understood the lack of organization that was provided but it seems as my visits became frequent and the more questions I asked all I got were excuses. I did not find a wedding gown there I did however purchased my bridesmaid dresses. At first I was pleased because I thought I made a right move. But when the dresses came in the sizing was all wrong. I think just so they can make more money to fix them. Then the staff was unprofessional. When I called and questioned the price since one of my bridesmaid found it more economical somewhere else. I was told the other place is doing something wrong. The owner refused to return any of my phone calls. Which led me to believe she could care less. I am dissatisfied with my entire experience at this store, and would never recommend it.

I purchased my wedding dress at Champagne and Lace and was treated great during the process. However once I advised the owner that I was not going to purchase my bridesmaid dresses there she was very rude and then I was treated not as nice as I once was. I just did not find the bridesmaid dresses there that I wanted so I feel the owner just felt my business was not needed any longer.

No other way to describe it than a BAD experience. I bought my dress from a store out of state, so I thought it would be convenient to have it altered somewhere close to my home. Several of my bridesmaids and I went in for alterations and were fitted and told to return in a week. When we returned there were problems with each of our dresses, most notably mine. I was treated very rudely for pointing out the obvious issues with the alterations and was then charged for more alterations to fix what had been done. I will never go back.

The store itself was filthy; you'd think that a boutique selling white wedding dresses would dust and clean their floors once in a while. The fitting rooms are tiny and only have curtains, so all the other patrons can see you while you're in there. There are accessories and shoes flung all over the shop; it's very unorganized.

When making my appointment, I specifically asked if they had plus size gowns available, and I was told they "specialize" in plus size gowns. I am a dress size 18-20, and they only had two dresses for me to try on that were much too large for me, so I couldn't really see how they would look anyway. One of the dresses had some sort of lace strap that immediately made my skin start to break out in hives, and I said I needed to take the dress off right away, and the attendant said "pain is beauty" and that the dress looked good on me, I should take a minute to look at it. When I asked if they had more gowns for me to try on, the attendant asked the owner, and the owner made a big deal of feeling my waist and saying "oh I wouldn't have any more in HER size", like I was some sort of cow, in front of everyone in the shop. This was my first wedding dress shopping experience and it was awful.

The dressing rooms were way too small. The other staff seemed to be stepping in to help but just made everything more difficult. Another staff member pulled the girl who was helping me aside and was cursing at her. Very unprofessional. Prices were much higher than other places I had visited.

When I first came to the store with my bridesmaids everything was great. We all fell in love with an amazing dress and decided to go ahead with it. The lady informed us that she would give us a deal of roughly $20 off each dress. We thought that was awesome. The next day the owner called me and told me that the lady that gave us the deal shouldn't have done that and she was furious because I didn't order a larger number of dresses. She was talking to me like I robbed them!!!! I couldn't believe it. I told her that if I didn't get the deal I wouldn't get the dresses at all. So she told me that in order to qualify for the deal we had until a certain day to order them by. I had one bridesmaid that didnt make it in on time and the owner called me to tell me the deal is off and continued to trash talk my bridesmaid saying how unreliable she was!!! Months went by and the day I was told the dresses were going to be in came and went and I still didn't hear from anyone. One of my bridesmaids just happened to be driving by the store one day and went in to find out that the dresses came in early and have been sitting there for weeks! I called to find out what happened, maybe a wrong phone number or something. They said they called me once and left a msg ( which I didn't receive) and it's not up to them to "babysit" me and make sure I get the dresses. Apparently people don't show up all the time and they didn't want to chase me. She also asked me to "get over it and move on". When I told her my girls would be in asap to get them she told me that they MIGHT have time to alter them. I asked to talk to someone else and she told me she was the owner.I will never recommend anyone to go to that store. It was and horrible experience that put me in tears.

I was fitted for and ordered a bridesmaid dress in October and it did not arrive until March. They measured me and allegedly ordered the correct size based on my measurements but when I tried on my dress, it was HUGE. At least one whole size too big. I live out of state and when I called to request a smaller size be ordered, they told me there was nothing they could do. "That happens sometimes," they said. No returns, no other sizes available. Alternations are to be expected, but this is beyond an alteration; this dress is much too big.

They were nice enough in person, but the order came in so late and their customer service leaves much to be desired. The dress does not fit; it's their mistake. Yet they were not willing to do anything to fix it.

I had a friend that just visited the store in Collinsville Illinois and the employee that assisted her said a very insincere comment that very much angered me. My friend just wanted to get her dress taken out just a few inches to make herself feel more comfortable in her dress. The employee's response was "Well, maybe you should late off the cheeseburgers and fries and you wouldn't of had this problem." Who says that to a customer? It wasn't that her dress was a completely wrong size, she just wanted to feel more comfortable and she has a right too! I hope this employee has never done this before for the sake of other people. The employees of the Collinsville store need to check and make sure their employees do not say unacceptable comments to customers. This event ruined my impression of this store. I would not recommend it to anyone. Save you time and money, go somewhere else.

There are few good things to say about this shop...the customer service was continuously horrible; 3 times I called and was told to expect return phone calls (which never happened), they did not have alterations completed on the (multiple) dates they promised, they changed my scheduled appointment time (without notifying me of the change) resulting in me driving over an hour (one way) for an appointment that did not happen. When I approached with them with my concerns, they were slightly apologetic but offered nothing else to smooth over the extremely horrible customer service experience that had taken place throughout this "adventure." It's really sad when a bride-to-be CHOOSES to spend over $2,000 in a shop and prom alterations take precedence over the wedding gown... Do yourself a favor and choose to spend your hard-earned money elsewhere! Other than that, the dress was gorgeous but, knowing what I know now, I would have bought the dress elsewhere.

At first they were nice, fun, and friendly. When I went into the shop again to make sure everything got ordered my MOH and I continuously kept asking the clerk why did I have to pay taxes the first time and not this time and her response was that they got a new system. I stated out loud to the clerk, as well as to myself, numerous times that the price that I was paying did not look right. She began to talk to me as if I could not comprehend and so I just decided to leave it alone. I was told that my dress would be ordered on Wednesday. I called on Friday because I did not receive a call stating if the dress had been ordered just for them to say that it was not ordered because the taxes were not included in the price causing it not to be at the half way mark for them to order it and that I needed to put more money down. After numerous phone conversations I told them that I would like to speak to the owner. On Sunday I received a call from the company and she told me that my dressed had been ordered. I called again on Tuesday to received a return date and Lydia stated she had previously talked to me and told me that my dress was not and will not be ordered unless I put the rest of the money down that was needed. I told her that I would just call back to speak with the woman that I spoke to on Sunday about my dress. About 30 minutes later I called back and asked to speak to the owner again because she never reached out to me. She stated that the owner was not available, but that my dress was ordered. That she had made a mistake and did not know what occurred over the weekend, but I still needed to put the money down. I told her that I would still like to speak with the owner about the horrible customer service that I had received. The owner still has not called. I would not recommend that anyone buy their wedding dress from this place.

I was in the store today with my daughter (Bride), the bride's maid of honor (another bride to be), a bridesmaid and another mother of the bride. The service we received was TERRIBLE. Or should I say what service! We walked in the door and were not acknowledged nor did we receive any assistance.

Also, it would be my recommendation that maybe you might hire a consultant who is a litle bit more mature due to the fact that a more experienced person would acknowledge everyone coming in the door. Acknowledging a potential new customer or a previous customer is HUGE ... as businesses expand by WORD OF MOUTH.

Effective immediately, there is only one consultant who I will work with in finalizing all purchases. Please note that any future referrals will to be sent directly to this consultant.
I would possibly recommend this vendor to a friend.

I ordered my dress from this store, first it took twice as long to come in, then my alterations have taken twice as long also! If you give a customer a timeframe you stick to your word! I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Thiese people do not stand by their word. It shouldn't matter if that person is still working for them or not if she told me it was 100 dollars less than that's what we should have gotten it for. They just gave us excuse well she was telling people all kinds of stuff and not telling us anything about those conversations. Well that is not my problem but you should be better and more understanding to us. Offer is 20 percent off of alterations is ridiculous. The woman ordered my daughters dress way to big probably so you all could get even more money from us. Well we will take it somewhere else cause you all can not be trusted your words mean nothing. You all were very rude to me and my daughter today. That is unacceptable. What should have been an exciting day of picking up your wedding dress turned into her being in tears cause your store screwed up and none of you wanna take the blame for it. You are the one that hired this other lady to begin with you should make this right. I will never do business with this store or these people again. They can not be trusted at all. Then don't care that they upset the bride that just spent 1600 dollars on a sees in your store. Should have gave outlet business somewhere else but we were told we were getting this dress for cheaper and that didn't happen. They lie!!!

Very disappointed in this vendor, my daughter had standing appointment; we got there a sales clerk had her sign in took us downstairs to where some dresses were and after that we had no help. A group came in after us and was showered with help. I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Again disappointed, especially after driving an hour and twenty minutes to get there.

Had to have dress alterations done five times. They were still not correct. The solution they had was to tape it to body with bridal tape, which they sold me. Had to take to a different bridal shop two days before wedding and they did them correctly in 24 hours. Asked for a refund for alterations and was treated so rude by the owner. I have never been talked to so nasty by and owner of a company in all my life. I would never recommend this shop to anyone ever.
