  Katie's work is absolutely amazing!! Not only did she nail the overall look we were going for, but she was super flexible when we had last minute changes to the seating chart. She provided proofs of each of the boards (we had 9 in total) about a week in advance and picked up the chalkboards that we were renting and dropped them off at the venue the day of the wedding - this was super helpful and put my mind at ease. We received so many compliments on the boards from our family and friends. I would use her again in a heartbeat and would recommend her to everyone! Her work is absolutely beautiful and you get way more than what you pay for!

  I heard about Katie with Chalkboss from my coordinator and when I looked at all her work on instagram I was in love! The two signs I had her do for our wedding were perfect! She was so easy to work with and made it even easier for me by picking the chalkboards up and dropping them back off at the venue the day of! If you are having any sort of chalkboards for your wedding or event I would definitely recomend Chalkboss!! Thank you for everything!

  Katie was such a pleasure to work with! I needed some signs done for my wedding, as well as hand lettering for these marble tiles that I wanted to use as escort cards. Not only was she super flexible and receptive to my ideas regarding the designs, everything turned out beautifully and was delivered to my venue without a hitch! I didn't have to worry at all about anything regarding her services--would recommend 100%!

  I had a pretty big wall project I wanted Katie to do for me & she was great from the very first contact: timely on initial response, great at following up to be sure I got my ideas to her, mock ups helped me see my ideas before being executed, completely professional all the way through & I couldn't be happier with the finished product. What a great resource!

  I have used Chalk Boss on multiple occasions over the past few years for weddings, bridal showers, company parties, etc. Every time the work is impeccable and Katie is great to work with. The pre-sketches are the best and Katie is willing to discuss and make edits as needed.

  Katie is very easy to communicate with and responsive. The "ordering" process is very simple and she does a great job of providing suggestions and working with you to bring your ideas to fruition. When it comes to the details of the signage, she's extremely focused. Text is centered and her handwriting and calligraphy are absolutely gorgeous.
  
  And she's not just limited to signage - Katie addressed our inner envelopes, as well. Many of our friends have actually framed them, they're so beautiful!

  Katie did all the chalk art for my wedding September 2017. As far the as finished product, it was beautiful and all the signage/seating chart looked just like we pictured. There was one exepction, there was a mistake made on the drink list and I double checked that the information I provided was correct so that was a little frustrating.
  The reason this isn’t a 5 Star review is because we had a very unpleasant experience with the logistics coordinating with Katie and our vintage rentals. The vintage rental vendor recommended Katie and told us they would coordinate with her to make sure everything was done by the time we were coming to pick it all up. Somehow they never discussed our pickup date so we had to delay leaving for our wedding (2 hours east of Seattle) so that everything could get done. Not sure who dropped the ball, but it was very frustrating. Then, the night before we were supposed to pick everything up Katie sent me an email saying she didn’t have access to the french doors to do our seating chart so it wasn’t going to be done. Immediately we called the vintage rental place who told us all the doors are locked with the same key so Katie did in fact have access to it all. They talked, and the French doors were done the next morning. I’m not sure who was lying to us that night, but it was not something I wanted to deal with as everyone is arriving from out of town and we’re about to leave for our wedding!
  The finished product, other than the one error, was beautiful, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. I would recommend chalk boss if you have a very clear communication plan and enough time to proofread to have any mistakes corrected prior to your big day.

  I'm so happy to hear that you loved your signs & they worked out great for your wedding. I loved making them for you. I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience though. That was truly not my intention, as I want to make sure that all my clients are happy. I am sorry that there was a mistake on your drink sign, as I take pride in making sure everything is correct & that I missed that. I would like to take the chance to clear up the miss-communication.
  Through our email communication, we had communicated that your coordinator had dropped the ball as she was out of town & did not communicate with me when your items needed to be ready for pickup. I was under the impression that the rental company was delivering the items to your wedding. Finding out together that we both could not get in contact with the rental company for getting into the space to complete your seating chart, I was worried as well and felt awful that your seating chart might not be able to get done in time for pickup from you. I tried multiple times that day & night to get in contact with the rental company, but never heard anything. I do have access to the rental company, but I don’t enter without their permission first & the okay. So I was just waiting to hear from them to enter their place of business. I did get all call right after contact was made with the rental company & immediately went over late that night to complete your seating chart & deliver your items, so you had everything you wanted for your wedding.
  I hope you can understand & know that I did everything I could to make sure that you had all your signage for your perfect day. Thank you for taking the time to write a review & again, so happy to hear that you thought the signs were beautiful.
