Amazing Experience with Chad Wu Photography!

We hired Chad to do our engagement and wedding photos, and we couldn’t have chosen a better photographer! When I originally looked through his website I noticed immediately that he had a more artistic flair than many other photographers in the area. His photos were more interesting and less generic, we were very excited that he was available on our date, which was a year away. Besides his obviously beautiful photos, Chad is also a complete professional and such a nice person! Easy communication, smooth booking process, fast turnaround time, and both the engagement session and wedding day were comfortable and relaxed. Our wedding photos turned out so amazing, we love them so much, he really caught all the special moments and facial expressions that will help us remember that day forever. Even in the wind and cold on the day outside, all of the photos turned out beautiful and Chad knew where to place everyone and efficiently get things done. He also helped us find some really gorgeous photo locations for both the engagement session and wedding day. I cannot say enough good things about Chad, when you hire someone for your wedding this person is present for the most important moments in your life, and looking back we will always be grateful that it was Chad behind the camera. The best ever!

Chad Wu is an AMAZING photographer! We used his services for both our engagement shoot and wedding photos. Our engagement session with Chad was so easy, and we knew he would end up being the perfect photographer for us! When we got our photos back, we were blown away, and it was no different for our wedding day photos. Our photos look like they could be on the cover of high-end magazines. There are not enough words to express how happy we are with Chad and his photography, and would recommend him to EVERYONE! As many of our guests said, Chad was almost "invisible." He never got in the way, but captured EVERY single moment on our wedding day. He captured moments that we didn't even know existed! He's the best photographer in Metro Detroit, and you will not be disappointed when you hire him!

In Love with Every Picture

Let me start off by saying I hate having my picture taken. It's awkward, I can't relax, and I rarely ever like how pictures come out. However, Chad managed to pull off the impossible because I am IN LOVE with my wedding photos. They all look amazing and are better than I could have imagined. We left every meeting with Chad feeling more relaxed and with a better understanding of what we needed to do and expect in preparation of the wedding. He was was extremely helpful when it came to the timeline for the day of, getting all of the shots we wanted, and ensuring the poses looked natural and not forced. The turn around for the photos was also very impressive. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and Chad was one of the best vendors we hired for our big day.

Chad is an incredible photographer!

Chad is an incredible photographer! From our first phone call, I knew that Chad and I had the same style and I could tell that having him capture our special day was the right choice. He made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole planning process and made me feel at such ease when we had our final call before the wedding. On the wedding day, he made everyone feel so relaxed and was able to capture every single moment perfectly. He is so professional, but still has a way of taking pictures all night without you even realizing he is there. I love his style, the quality of his photos, and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for the perfect photographer to capture their special day!

Excellent to work with, beautiful pictures

Chad was so awesome to work with. He captures such a natural look and this is why we booked him. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out so beautiful and the weather conditions for our wedding were not ideal (rain, hail, very windy, and sunny) but you would have never known looking at our photos. We are so happy with our decision and would recommend him to anyone!

Incredible Wedding Photographer 10/13/18

My husband I can not recommend Chad enough!
We actually used a different photographer for our engagement photos and while she did a great job, we just didn't click and we wanted to feel 100% comfortable on our wedding day. Not only was Chad super easy to work with but he has an incredible laid back personality that will help put you at ease on your big day! Our photos are absolutely stunning as well and his shooting style is incredible! While Chad took time to pose us some, he did a phenomenal job of capturing our natural emotions and personalities throughout the entire event. BOOK CHAD NOW... you will not regret it! :)

Best Photographer!

Chad was a phenomenal photographer. He was easy to work with, professional, on time, and the photos were beautiful. I was impressed with the quick turn around in getting our photos back. I appreciated Chads communication leading up to the wedding- He didn’t miss a thing! He got all the shots I was hoping for! So impressed with everything before, during, and after the wedding. I stumbled upon Chad while doing research for photographers around the Detroit area. I was a bit weary in my search as I am not from the area so wanted to be sure I could find someone that would be a good fit. As I was doing my research, Chad's pictures stood out among the rest and really matched the style we were going for. After initially reaching out, he met with me to discuss my vision and what I was looking for in a photographer. After that first meeting, I knew we had found our fit. Leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive to my questions and met with us a couple of weeks beforehand to go over last-minute logistics, photos we hoped he could capture, etc. The day of the wedding, he was there, on time, and ready to roll right away. I am not usually very comfortable in front of a camera but Chad made it so easy and we actually had fun! He gave us direction during the day so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I could not have asked for a more perfect day. We received our photos a couple of days ago and they are breathtaking! The lighting and poses he used brought out the best in my husband and I and we are so grateful to have the most amazing pictures. Thanks again, Chad!!

I don't think just a simple review can put into words how awesome Chad is! From the moment I contacted him on WeddingWire I just knew I had to have him be our photographer for our wedding! He was professional and accommodating! Fast forward to the wedding, both Chad and his second shooter Madison, did a wonderful job, I had compliments from many family members telling me how much they liked them. After the wedding was over and I got our pictures back, I was blown away! They were fantastic! Not only did they come in way sooner then expected they were such high quality! I would recommend Chad Wu Photography to anyone looking for a photographer :-)

Chad was the most amazing photographer that I could have asked for. He not only took the most amazing shots, but he also captured moments that make me tear up every time I scroll through my beautiful photos! He was professional, understanding, organized and VERY nice. He was reasonable and his quality and creativity with poses is any bride's dream. Would 100% recommend to anyone in a HEARTBEAT!!!!! I found Chad when I was researching wedding locations and really liked a picture I saw. He was very easy to work with and extremely organized. He calls you a week before the wedding to go over everything with you and get any updates on pictures you would like.

The day of the wedding everything turned out as planned. Since he was so organized it made pictures easy and relaxing. Also, he made family pictures easy so they were not time consuming.

When we got our pictures and it was so hard to limit them to 60 for our wedding album. You know you had a great photographer when all of them turn out great! They were exactly what I was expecting and more. Also, his price was very good which was also a big reason we picked Chad. We would highly recommend him!

Chad was so amazing! Worth every penny! I was a little nervous going into first looks and getting ready pictures, but he made myself and my wedding party feel so comfortable. He made me feel at ease, and made sure we were on time for everything. My husband and I at first only hired Chad, but last minute we added a second shooter through him. I thought maybe we wouldn't be able to book one since it was last minute but he made it happen! He made sure to capture all the little details from my wedding shoes, rings, dress, to our memorial table, cake, and center pieces. We love Chad and will be recommending him to our friends, family and anyone else getting married! Hire him you won't regret it!!

We met Chad when he was photographing a friends wedding. Their pictures were so amazing and they highly recommended Chad, so it seemed like a no brainer. Chad and his assistant were very professional and fun to work with on our wedding day. Our pictures turned out beautiful despite working with a 5pm sunset for our winter wedding. Chad was also great about our prep calls and about planning out the picture locations and timing. The photo link he provided made it really easy to share our pictures and will also make ordering very simple. We loved working with Chad and definitely recommend him.

I flew Chad in all the way to Texas because I loved his photography so much! The theme of our wedding was classic and elegant and that is exactly how our pictures turned out. Chad was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. What drew me to Chad was his awesome portfolio on his site I couldn't believe how good his pictures were. After meeting with him though I knew he was the one I wanted because he was so nice and laid back. I felt like he would be a perfect fit with us and he was. Chad was great to work with! He was very organized leading up to the wedding and gave us good advice on prioritizing photo opportunities and making a timeline for the photos. He was relaxed and fun to spend the day with. My husband hates having his picture taken, but felt at ease with Chad. Most importantly, our pictures were awesome! We love the portraits with the wedding party and family, and candid shots of the reception. The pictures match our warm memories of such a special day. We absolutely recommend Chad Wu Photography!

We had full confidence in chad and I'm so glad we listened to our gut. The pictures are beautiful. He saw things that I could have never invisioned. Thank you so much!! We have had the pleasure to work with Chad as our wedding photographer for our May 2016 wedding. We researched wedding photographers extensively before we chose Chad. We had several meetings with Chad via email, phone and in person during our prep before the wedding. We quickly found that Chad is very responsive and willing to work with our schedule and budget. He offered several helpful tips for the big day and was receptive to our needs. Chad was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day, adjusted to our changing schedule and put us at ease while taking photos. Chad's assistant Stephanie was also very friendly and professional. They were able to capture all the important parts of our ceremony and reception without intruding or becoming invasive during the celebrations. We are very happy with our photos and treasure our special memories captured that day. We would highly recommend Chad to anyone who wants a responsible, responsive, professional photographer who will truly deliver.

Chad was great in all aspects of our experience!
From our first meeting to receiving our finished photos he was professional personable , accommodating. Chad brought a confidence and a level of organization that was a huge part of our decision in picking him to do our photos. We were married in a location that had many different photography opportunities and challenges and he used all these things and the photos rock! From fun to traditional, candid and classic. He did still life(dress,rings,table settings) and all the things that you wouldn't think of on the busy awesome day of the wedding. The finished photo exceeded all of our expectations!!!
Chad also work great with all the family and captured perfect moments from everyone not just us. Thanks chad!

Chad is great to work with. Not only is he a very patient and hard working individual, he also maintains a nice balance between creatively composing and technically exposing images. He made our memories better than we remembered them.

Chad Wu was impressively professional. He was very easy to work with, always coming up with ideas for photos on the spot, while maintaining a great attitude. I have no experience in the industry so it was nice to have direction, and the results were fantastic. He was referenced to us by one of his colleagues, My wife and I are very happy that is how it turned out. Brass tacks I highly recommend Chad or would trust his judgement for a reference, his services were worth every reasonable dollar.

I couldn't been happier with the work Chad did for my wife and I.

Chad arrived on time and was engaged from start to finish. He moved around the room getting photos of the wedding from every perspective. In the end, the finished product was amazing. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a professional with top notch skills.

Chad Wu Photography is AMAZING!!! When my fiance and I were looking for a photographer we had no doubt in our minds that Chad was the photographer for us. We had never been in a photo shoot before and we thought it would be really awkward but we were so wrong. The first 5 minutes into our shoot we felt so comfortable and natural. Chad is energetic and fun and gives off such a positive vibe that made the shoot so much fun. He is creative, fun, enthusiastic and so passionate about his work, and it really shows in the final product. We were so happy with the prints and because of Chad, we have great memories of our engagement to look back on forever! Highly recommend!!

Chad and is team were absolutley amazing! They made our special day unfold in a beautiful way that captured all posibble moments. Their personalism was most important to us, and they molded completely to our craziness, and blended with all our guests. Inspite of the weather (rained all day long) they adjusted and were determined to capture awesome shots in the rain, even being prepared with umbrellas for my husband and I. Mine and my husband's exprience was so great, we would recommend them to anyone for any special occasion!

Chad is the type of photographer who takes a personal interest in what you want. I feel that is a true rarity these days that a person sits with you several times to map out exactly what you would like. Not only is he a very personable photographer, he is also extremely talented at his profession. He truly has an eye for detail and a passion for what he does. It was an honor having Chad shoot our wedding and there is no one else that I would have trusted to get the job done. If you are in search of a photo ninja then look no further because you have found him!

Chad was professional, high energy and extremely responsive. I absolutely adored everything on his website and knew he would do a wonderful job at our outside fall wedding. What I wasn't prepared for was Chad's ability to almost be in two spots at once. I'm not sure how he did it but he was able to get every shot I wanted even though I'm sure it meant he was sprinting from one spot to another. Chad was wonderful to work with, had awesome suggestions and was extremely efficient with his time. The pictures from our wedding were ready earlier then I ever imagined and I loved them all. Chad Wu and his extra shooter were great! We had an entire wedding weekend so it was a lot of work and organization. Chad was extremely flexible with us and kept us calm during the whole thing. The actual quality of the photos are amazing. He got shots of everything and captured all the big moments with finesse and beauty.

Such a pleasure to work with! Chad was genuine, friendly and professional. He has a gentle and calming personality which is such a help when everything around you is so chaotic. He is great at making sure he asks what you want throughout the day without feeling like a big presence. The pictures we received are beautiful. We did give Chad pretty open range on what kind of pictures to take because we are not incredibly picky so that is something to keep in mind if you are someone that needs full control. However, be certain that Chad knows what he is doing and will capture all the important moments and in a special way!

Chad was great to work with leading up to our wedding day too. He is responsive to emails and requests. He worked with us when we had to plan for potential rain. He was great at helping us plan our wedding day timeline and making sure we could go to all the locations we wanted to. I have to point out too that we had a catholic wedding and wanted a photographer for 12 hours which is a long time! Chad was willing to work at his best all day long and was fantastic throughout the entire day.

Overall very professional and definitely worth it! I found plenty of cheaper photographers, but none of them were offering the same personal, one-on-one service we got with Chad which is so valuable in my opinion!

Chad was very professional and has the experience it takes to customize the wedding experience to your liking.
He is effective at communicating with not only the bride and groom but everyone involved. He is courteous and very agile! He is focused on his task and does so well on his own. I highly recommend Chad Wu, he is the one you want for high quality photos and a great service.

If you're looking for a photographer with an artistic eye, super creative and talented then Chad Wu is it. We did the package deal with both the engagement photos and wedding photos and it was definitely the way to go. This helped us get more comfortable with having our photo being taken before the big day. Highly recommend scheduling a time to meet with Chad if you're unsure; I'm sure you'll quickly realize he's the guy for your special day/event.
