Wow! Where do I begin!?! Starting with my first interaction via email, Chris had a lot of great energy and first wanted to make sure I was comfortable and could ask all the questions by hoping on a call. He immediately felt like family, but besides that he ensured all my questions were answered and went above and beyond by showing me his work at my venue. I was absolutely amazed by his lighting and was sold on the spot.
The day of he was very very organized and had a plan to utilize every minute wisely. I provided him with a shot list and although I kind of left some stuff out, he made it a point to fit those items in once I mentioned it. He has super high energy and guides you through the entire process. Not only that, he’s your BIGGEST hype man! He makes you feel like in the moment, you’re the only thing that exists. Plus, he shows you his work along the way, which was super exciting.
He blended right in like he was part of the family and although we’re a week outside of the wedding, people keep talking about our special day, but also how fun our photographer was.
It’s even more incredible when you see your sneak peaks. Once I saw those, all the great emotions of the day came back to life. We’re sooo thrilled we chose him! I’d refer him to ANYONE!

Super amazing and talented!!
When we were vetting photographers for our wedding, Chris was the 5th photographer we talked to, and he stood out the most. While everyone we had talked to had portfolios that we liked, Chris's fun and energentic personality is what ultimately drew us to him. My husband doesn't enjoy getting photos taken, so it was important that we picked someone who would help him loosen up in front of the camera. We did an engagement shoot with Chris and he was just as fun in person as he was over the initial video call. We had a blast and love our engagement and wedding photos! It was very apparent not only to us but also our wedding guests that Chris is not only super talented and creative but also absolutely loves his job! Aside from when he was directing us to do certain poses, we didn't notice him at all during the wedding day. The cherry on top of everything is that he spent extra time with us and even sent us our fully edited wedding album the MORNING AFTER our wedding day!!! It's been such a treat because we enjoy looking at our wedding photos every day and we love them so much (and so does everyone we've shared them with!). Chris is amazing and goes above and beyond for his clients to give them the best experience. If we do more shoots in the future, we would not hesitate to hire him again. As a librarian, research is more than just a job — it's my passion. So when it came time to choose a photographer for our Las Vegas microwedding, I went full detective mode. I scoured websites, combed through social media, analyzed every comment, and read every Google review I could find. By the time our big day rolled around, I felt completely confident that I had hired the best photographer in Vegas. And somehow… Chris Benavides still absolutely blew me away.
We had a small wedding — just 11 of us at The Little White Wedding Chapel — but Chris made it feel like a blockbuster event. From the moment he arrived, he elevated our entire day. Chris was absolutely AMAZING!! My wife and I decided to renew our vows in Vegas just the two of us and knew we wanted a special photographer to capture the moment for us. Passion for Photography!
We were travelling over from the UK to get married in Las Vegas, so we were naturally nervous about selecting a photographer for a once-in-a-life time event. Chris was fantastic from the start. Our initial emails led to a Zoom meeting to he could show his portfolio and discuss what our needs were. As we were doing a night-time shoot with bright lights, we wanted to make sure we had photographer who could work with that.
To the big day! The shoot was at midnight, so we were very tired, but Chris' enthusiasm and passion for his art definitely helped to perk us up! We only had our site for 1hr, and Chris and his assistant Carlos were super efficient in helping us get as many epic shots as possible within the 60 minutes.
Once Chris had editted the shots and sent them to us, we were blown away by the quality and how he had captured our special moments.

Very professional all the way around. Even when my groomsmen and myself ran behind because no one had any clue how to tie a bow tie, he remained calm and worked with what we had at the time. I never felt like we were just talking pictures. The always seemed to be a vision behind each pose and direction.

Amazing beautiful photos and fun to work with
My now Husband and I worked with Chris for both our engagement photo session and our wedding photos. We were both very nervous about having our pictures taken and were worried that would come through in our photos. Chris and Carlos were so good at making the entire engagement shoot fun and helping us relax and that really came through in our engagement photos. On the day of our wedding we already felt more relaxed from working with them before so we knew we were in good hands. Chris and Carlos were once again great at making us relaxed and helping us look amazing, and Chris made sure to remind us during the reception to get photos with our important guests before our day ended. Again when we got our wedding photos back my husband and I were just so thrilled with the beautiful moments Chris captured. He has a great eye and again great personality that makes them a lot of fun to work with, and Chris is great at communicating and would reach out right away whenever I reached out with a question. I highly recommend Chris for all your big photo needs.

READ THIS - Absolute Best Las Vegas Wedding Photographer
As a groom, I was thrilled with the exceptional service that Chris provided as our wedding photographer in Las Vegas. He immediately put us at ease with his unmatched confidence and calming demeanor, which helped to alleviate any fears and anxieties we had about the day. His sister also helped by carrying my wife's dress and my comb, which was a nice touch that we greatly appreciated.
Chris and his team were extremely efficient, capturing so many incredible photos per hour without ever feeling rushed. It was clear that they had a great system in place, and they worked seamlessly together to ensure that every moment of our special day was captured.
One of the things that impressed me most about Chris was his eye for unique locations around Vegas. He found awesome backdrops of the city lights that are unique among Las Vegas photographers. His photography talents and lighting techniques brought out the best in each of these locations.
Throughout the day, Chris was always respectful to our families and especially to my wife, who felt comfortable and beautiful in every shot. His talent and professionalism were truly outstanding, and we were blown away by the quality of the photos we received.
Overall, I can't recommend Chris enough to any couple looking for a wedding photographer in Vegas. He and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with, and we will cherish the memories for years to come.

The most amazing experience
I had the pleasure of working with Chris as my wedding photographer in Las Vegas, and I must say, I was absolutely blown away by his talent. Chris has an impeccable eye for unique locations around Vegas that make for stunning backdrops, and his positioning and posing guidance was truly top-notch.
What really sets Chris apart, however, is his amazing team. His sister was always on hand to help with my wedding dress and carrying things, and together, they made the entire process of capturing our special day an absolute blast! The Best Wedding Photographer in the business!
Chris was the absolute best photographer to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, he communicated with us quickly and was able to provide us with all the information he offered for packages.
The first time we met him was during our engagement shoot. Chris was an amazing person to meet in person and his assistant Carlos! Both of them were amazing and made our experience just full of joy and laughter. Then, during our wedding, everyone absolutely loved him. Our wedding party had a blast having their photos taken as well as our guests. It was full of laughter and joy throughout the night because he took photos that were absolutely jaw dropping! After the wedding, when we had received our photos, each photo was able to tell their own story. We absolutely loved our photos! We highly recommend CH photography for any wedding! They were amazing to work with and we can't wait to work with them again!

I can’t even begin to describe the experience with Chris. I get nervous about being in front of a camera and having my pictures taken and Chris made me feel at ease and comfortable. All of my bridesmaids were comfortable and they appreciated all the work he did. The attention to detail and the eye he has for finding cool and interesting shots was perfection. My wedding day
To put it simply, Chris was amazing. He was very easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner.
He showed up to the area we got ready on time and had a very structured timeline to get things done. It’s very apparent he has been doing this a long time and knew exactly how to set up “the shot” in several areas. The cool part is, for as long as he has been doing this, he still loves to get creative! He was so patient with unique requests and some other pictures we needs to get with extended family! I knew for my wedding I wanted 2 things… 1: to have an amazing wedding photographer and 2: to have a taco truck. Thankfully I HAD THE BEST OF BOTH. Chris was hired as my wedding photographer and he was nothing less than absolutely amazing. He is very experienced in the photography business and knows how to capture a wedding extraordinarily well. He makes sure to take photos of not just the bride and groom, but the memorable details of the wedding too. His editing is realistic which I really enjoyed as well. He is very organized and always on time. His personality is very uplifting and positive. His personality helps make the smiles become genuine because you’re actually having a good time taking photos with Chris.

The best photography experience I've ever had
I could not have chosen the most perfect photographer for our intimate wedding. Chris is super passionate about his work and you can see the genuine love for what he does. He helps capture authentic joy through his awesome personality and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
He is also VERY prompt at replying to messages and will always fulfill your requests in a reasonable time. For example, he quoted me 4-6 weeks for completed edited photos and at just before the 4 week mark I asked for a few for a project I was working on and he just gave me the entire album that night, fully edited and absolutely beautiful. He's also been very understanding with this whole pandemic situation as I had to cancel on him last year but he readily accepted to shoot my wedding this year at no extra cost, so thank you so much for your kindness and generosity, Chris!
Honestly, if Chris could shoot all my important life moments I would do that if I didn't have to fly him out to where I live, which is pretty far from Vegas. Who knows, though? If I start making even more money I might be requesting him abroad! He's worth every dollar he quotes you and his rates are VERY reasonable for the outstanding quality he provides.

Worth Every Penny
My future husband fought me tooth and nail about spending money on a photographer! 'Just buy a camera and one of our friends can take photos.' But once he saw the photos part way through our event that Chris was taking he was SO excited and glad we hired CH Photography. We were also worried about our ceremony being done by nightfall and having formal night photos but his light source made them amazing. The photos are so worth it and he was SO EASY to work with.

Bad conditions amazing photos
I’m not sure how to say this to explain how bad the conditions of my wedding were and how amazing Chris made them to be. You are absolutely a magician. I got married at night and there was seriously not a lamp by me to give me Lighting to take the pictures it was PITCH BALCK and some how Chris took the most beautiful and romantic pictures EVER! I am in love. Then My ceremony was in a backyard we had string light but for sure not enough lighting and again Chris WAW. I had to change my wedding date to make sure I get him as a photographer cause I knew he was the only one that can pull it off and I am happy I did. We needed a photographer for my son’s senior portraits. We saw Chris’ work on IG and thought it was great!!!! After working with him, we realized his work wasn’t just great... it’s PHENOMENAL! Chris was so great to work with! My photos turned out awesome and he was extremely helpful when it came to posing us. We needed a lot of direction and he was so clear and quick. He drove us around to the few places we wanted shots taken and delivered exactly what I wanted!

Super fun photographer.
Chris is such a fun photographer to work with. He did both my engagement photos and wedding photos; which were beautifully done. I am sooo awkward when people take pictures of me, but he did such an amazing job of making me feel comfortable. He's super easy to talk to, is very prompt, and extremely talented. Look no further. Best photographer anybody could ask for!
Chris was amazing. The value is incredible, he is very affordable and he over-delivers BIG TIME. Just seeing the raw pictures from his camera, made our jaws drop. He made everything a breeze, very funny and treated our families nicely. He also made sure we got at least 1 edited picture the night of the wedding so we had something to share on social media and with our families. 10/10 would recommend him to shoot your wedding!

Nothing short of amazing!
The attention to detail provided by Chris was absolutely amazing. Chris and Carlos (his assistant) made sure we were comfortable and taking photos was fast + easy. Chris made sure we took photos with all family members and also spoke Spanish which was a HUGE plus. I am from houston, tx so communicating was efficient and he was always a text away. I love love love his photo style and can vouch for this man and his company. Thank you Christian for being awesome and so so incredible. Literally sent me a sneak peek of a photo he took the NIGHT of our wedding.

Highly Recomended!
I can only write great things about Chris and his professionalism covering our wedding ceremony. He made all of us feel comfortable when taking our pictures. I am not one that enjoys taking pictures and let Chris know that from the beginning but he made it all feel comfortable and enjoyable. I can even say he went above and beyond in his services. There was a moment during the wedding ceremony where the officiant asked for our wedding lasso which was forgotten in the other room. He quickly leaped before anyone else to grab that essential item which was need for the wedding vows, and I really appreciate him for doing that. As far the pictures, all top quality and they came out far better than expected. He took his time finding the best areas and positions to take pictures. To me, our pictures look like something out of a magazine. He was fully dedicated to us and our special moment. I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a photographer and I know I'll be using his services in the future.

Chris is an extremely talented photographer. As my husband put it “THE MAN KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING!”. I whole heartedly agree. Our wedding took place at noon and outdoors, which many photographers might dread, but Chris was confident and experienced. He gave us beautiful outdoor pictures. I can only imagine what he could do during a sunset wedding.
Chris also did jaw-dropping pictures inside the venue. Our family and friends were raving over the pictures saying they couldn’t believe how incredible the pictures turned out.
Chris was very attentive, he saved the day by quickly reacting and running to get our lassos during the ceremony. He dedicated himself completely to our special occasion.

You Need to Book Chris as Your Photographer
Chris was highly recommended by most of the wedding vendors in Las Vegas. I saved his contact information while looking for venues. We selected Chris to do our engagement/family photos with our fur babies as we needed someone last minute. He responded within the first hour and made every accommodation possible to meet with us on a weekday.
Our cat was recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and we do not know how long we have with her. This is why we wanted photos ASAP. Working with four-legged children is no joke but Chris handled it well and got our cat and dog to look at the camera! I am picky when I give 5-star reviews but Chris showed compassion and empathy.
We were packing our bags to leave the site when he noticed I wanted more pictures. I did not have to tell him but he read my body language so he made the call to stay longer to get those extra posses. I started to cry after the photoshoot up in Red Rock (which he highly recommended). Not only is Chris responsive, professional, funny, and compassionate but he truly cares about the relationship he has with his clients AND his boho-style photos are just epic. When we got the photos back, I started to cry all over again. I was left breathless. If you need a wedding/engagement/family photographer, Chris is the guy.

CH Photography (Chris) was a blessing in disguise. My husband and I are not “behind the camera” people, but Chris naturally made it feel like we are! From start to finish he had us smiling, laughing, and loving our big day that much more. From our first phone call, he made me feel more at ease about being an out-of-state bride and stepping into some unknowns. He was super flexible in our plan and also gave suggestions. He was on time, punctual, and has an artistic eye. I can’t express enough how relaxed he made us feel and how pleasant he was to have on our team! I cannot day enough good things about him and I would re-live our day with him as our photographer again and again. HIGHLY recommend! ❤️

Best decision ever
Chris was the first vendor we booked after picking our venue and wedding date - choosing him was the easiest and BEST decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process.
Chris is simply wonderful. A professional from start to finish. We took engagement photos at the Valley of Fire and he was so personable and made both of us feel at ease. The entire shoot felt like 3 friends hanging out going on a little adventure. More importantly, the shots he took were fantastic! They came back quickly and were were fun, beautiful, and captured the essence of our eternal love for each other. I can't wait for him to shoot our wedding!

Chris has been fabulous from start to finish. When I first contacted him, he was extremely attentive and helped me sort out the necessary details to determine exactly what we would need for our big day. Along the way, he has been very attentive to detail and communicative, helping to make sure everything, down to the timing and lighting of the day would be perfect. While taking our pictures he made us feel at ease and helped make sure every single detail came out in the pictures. He was quick to get our photos back to us and they turned out amazing! Very responsive, helpful, and easy to work with!
We normally don't like to take pictures, but we really wanted some beautiful engagement photos to cherish and use on save-the-dates. We thought the session would be more of a chore, but Chris made it so fun and easy! He has a lot of vision and gave a excellent input and direction, while ensuring we were happy along the way. We had a blast, and we're in love with the photos!!!
Chris is very easy to feel comfortable around, and so responsive and helpful, everything you would want in a photographer. He asked us about our vision for our wedding, and even provided us with some great advice about ideas and vendors for the big event. We are so excited to have him on board as our wedding photographer! Would recommend 100%.

We felt like royalty!
My wife and I got married at Caesars Palace in the Juno Garden on 12/14/19. Chris was the best decision we made in the entire planning process. He responded to our initial text within 2 minutes, 7 months prior to the wedding around midnight PST. My wife LOVED his work, and even though I didn’t have a keen eye, I could see the difference between his photos and others. He spoke with us for about 30 min the night of, and I knew we had the right guy. He was super positive, professional and prompt throughout! You can get that from a lot of vendors up front, but when it comes time to perform they either cut corners or you can feel their lack of enthusiasm in what they are doing. Not Chris Benavides! His positive energy was so impactful on our wedding experience!! He made my wife and I feel like a million bucks at our photo shoot following the ceremony after months of stressing about the planning process! We saw his photos at Caesars in a previous wedding so we knew we were looking fantastic! Not to mention he had our photos back to us within 24 hours! He said they normally take 4-8 weeks but he was so excited about them he finished them early! If you are considering Chris for your wedding/photoshoot, his work is worth it’s weight in gold.

Engagement Photoshoot
My fiancé and I had the BEST experience with Chris Benavides Photography! Compared to some other photographers in the Las Vegas area, his prices are very reasonable and his skills behind the camera are unmatched. It was our first professional photo shoot so I was a little nervous, but everything went perfect! We shot our photos on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. He suggested we meet 30 minutes earlier for lighting reasons and that 30 minutes made all the difference. The lighting was perfect in every shot and if something was off, he was honest and made adjustments so it would look good. He was so accommodating to all our wishes and his advice on poses/facial expressions is superb! His vibrant personality made the shoot fun and exciting, I didn’t want it to end! I can’t wait to have him take photos for us again on our wedding day! Could not have been happier with our experience!!

Engagement Photoshoot
My fiancé chose Chris as our photographer for our engagement shoot/wedding day and I’m so glad we went with him! The engagement shots turned out better than I could have imagined. He was patient and made sure that every shot was flawless. He even managed to avoid strangers in the background of our shots (we took our photos on Fremont Street in Las Vegas so avoiding strangers in the background is a skill in itself.) He kept the mood light and made us feel relaxed the entire time. No photo felt unnatural or “too posed” either. Overall, wonderful experience! We will definitely be using his photography skills in the future and would recommend him to anyone!

100% book Chris now!
Chris absolutely surpassed our expectations! Being from Wisconsin and trying to plan our session from out-of-state had me nervous at first, but Chris was so responsive and made me feel like I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The day of the shoot (11/03/19), it was clear right away that he knew what he was doing. He made us feel so comfortable. We laughed, told stories and truly felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. We were so relieved, because we had heard horror stories of other peoples photographers being so awkward or rude. Chris is neither of those things. What I really appreciated is that Chris would show us the photos on his camera so that we could see what we looked like and decide to change something. We just got our final photos tonight and we are in love! There are so many photos to choose from that we don’t know how we’re going to decide! I cannot say enough good things about our session with Chris! Thank you so much!

The best!
My fiance and I recently moved to Las Vegas and were recommended by someone to hire Chris as our photographer. While we initially were only looking to do engagement photos, but, when we met with Chris we instantly KNEW he had to be our wedding photographer too. He is a professional at his job! Pre-Wedding Photoshoot
My Wife & I booked with CH Photography, based on ratings & reviews as well as photo quality from his portfolio on social media. His pricing was comparable, reasonable and even competitive with packages he offers. We decided to give it a shot. Ours included a pre-wedding/engagement style shoot. Chris appeared to conduct himself professionally and worked with us on payment plans, filled us in on what to expect and made sure both sides were happy. His open line of communication was appreciated and assured my wife and I that we could trust in his business. We booked our initial photoshoot with him November 18, 2019 at Valley of Fire. It truly was a memorable experience. His scheduling was on point, he was on time and had all proper permits in line for the photo shoot to occur. From the get go Chris portrayed himself as an outgoing, out spoken person of whom you would think you have known for awhile. It was unexpected but comforting to know that we weren’t just getting our photos taken, but an experience well worth our payment. Chris guided us through the shoot with his charismatic & comedic personality. He made us laugh and feel comfortable with our poses even though it was our first actual photoshoot. It made us feel like we were having fun, but having a connection that was special. He even showed us through his camera the photos he took after each sets to give us an idea of how his photos were captured.
Over all we were happy with our first session. It gave us a chance to get to know our photographer, not just the serious side of the business, but also life in general and much more. We look forward to working with him on our actual wedding event in April 2020, more so we plan to keep him in mind for any future photography session and possible family photos as well. Would highly recommend CH Photography to our family and friends as well as others looking for quality photos at a value worth more than you expect. It definitely is an Unforgettable experience that you won’t be disappointed in.

Fun in the desert!
We had to travel to Vegas for a filming event, and the only time we got alone to ourselves was one morning, and booking a photoshoot for that morning was the best decision I've ever made! Chris was so much fun! He picked us up from our hotel, drove us out to the desert early in the morning, and he had music and just was loving every moment of what he does! Would 10/10 recommend booking your couples photography

Texas Bride who would Recommend Chris Any day!
Chris was awesome and easy to work with. I live in Texas and was getting married in Vegas. Finding vendors was a bit scary as I could never meet them in person. Chris was very responsive from the beginning and he always had the best advice since he knows the area very well. My family LOVED him. He made everyone laugh and comfortable during photos. The photos are amazing, even made me cry just reviewing them for the first time. It was one of the best days and Chris was a huge part of making it flawless. During the whole thing he worked with the DJ, wedding party parents, and event vendors to get the best photos and make sure everything was smooth sailing. For anyone in Vegas or coming from another State I highly recommend Chris!!

Why You Need to Hire Ch Photography
If you are looking for a wedding photographer, your search is over! Chris was the best vendor decision I made for my wedding. Photography is a big part of a wedding day and I am so happy we choose Chris. We were so impressed with his skill, talent, and personality. His professionalism extended to being early for each event, doing a walk through before for each location, and having our Pinterest photos basically memorized. Chris' attitude was infectious, he made everyone not just comfortable but confident. Both parties felt like they were just having their photos taken by another family member. Our best wedding vendor!
From start to finish we could not have been more pleased with Chris's services. His communication was prompt, he hustled like no other on our wedding day to get us all the best shots, and he even did a better job at coordinating our day, then the actual event coordinator we hired. We are so incredibly happy with how our photos turned out and had so much fun working with him. Will definitely be using again in the future and have been recommending him to all the newly engaged couples I know.

This is my second and most updated review for Chris. I already got our photos for the wedding and I super love them. He is such an amazing photographer. He captures photos showing genuine emotions and expressions. This is why his work is different from all the other photographers that take typical wedding photos. Super grateful that I found him through The Knot!
