Jodi and her team took all the stress of wedding planning away. There wasn’t a moment on my wedding day that I had to worry about—they had it covered. So much of the fun of wedding planning gets overshadowed by the stress and pressure. Having CES allowed me to stay in the “fun” place because I knew everything would be perfect. Jodi made it happen!! Not only that—Jodi and her team are kind, fun, and a joy to be around. My dream wedding day with my dream team. I cannot recommend them enough—worth every penny and more. -

To know Jodi is to love Jodi. Before I personally KNEW Jodi, I loved watching her serve our hometown community from afar. For a little back story, I have my degree in Recreation, Hospitality, Parks Management with an emphasis in Event Management. Prior to COVID I was an events/wedding coordinator and loved every second of it! I still work in hospitality, but I always day dream about going back into the event industry. My (now husband) and I had planned every detail of our Tulum, Mexico destination wedding, but I would lie awake in bed at night stressing about not having a day of coordinator that I knew would protect our vision and joy.
To bump into Jodi in the buffet line at a community event at the peak of this worry was fate. We connected quickly and made plans to meet to discuss the possibility of her traveling to Tulum with us. With only a couple months away from the event, I am beyond grateful that Jodi trusted me enough to jump aboard and agree to travel with us!
Just like that I was able to sleep again and re-found joy in the planning process! In the months leading up to the trip Jodi had given me access to Aisle Planner (which is like playing Sims for a wedding planning adult - adding bushes and chairs to venue maps - so fun!) and had met twice to go over logistics.
Let me pause for a moment and explain something about Jodi before I continue - Jodi HAS to have a Time Turner (from Harry Potter) because this woman is MAGIC! I have never seen someone so active in their community, active in their home-family life, present in their commitments, and still responds to your emails, texts & calls quickly and with LOVE. Nobody needs to be that responsive, BUT Jodi lives and breaths LOVE, PASSION, and GENUINITY in all things. She gets excited with you, celebrates with you, cries with and for you, and always finds a moment to come dance with you.
In Tulum, she was loved by all of our friends and family. Everyone commented on her beautiful communication style which was warm, clear, transparent, calm and loving. To direct a room of 45 adults that have been consuming mezcalitas for several hours is probably like hearing cats, but Jodi guided everyone with bold and kind confidence. It was true leadership. Her tone never sounded frustrated, but I knew she was serious about protecting mine & John's timeline & joy. UGH - she literally saved my world! Our wedding was a DREAM and I am so grateful for Jodi - because of her, John and I were able to be emotionally present all day.
Jodi is detailed, passionate, accomplished, invested and genuine in all things! I admire her deeply and hope to find a million excuses to continue being connected to Jodi. Do yourself a favor and let Jodi into your world. -

We feel we have a unique perspective when it comes to evaluating wedding planners, because we had the unfortunate experience of needing to part ways with our original planners. The stark contrast in performance and accountability can be understated - Jodi and her team rocks! We honestly don’t even know where to begin—you are a lifesaver. Saying yes to us just five weeks before the wedding? That alone deserves a standing ovation. You jumped in with grace, got up to speed, and somehow made sense of our chaos like it was nothing. But your impact went far beyond showing up on short notice. You brought structure, clarity, and care to every step of the journey—transforming what could have been a scramble into something fun and grounded. You are incredibly talented at what you do. From the big-picture logistics to the tiniest details, everything felt seamless. Our wedding was beautiful and full of love, and that is thanks in large part to you. We felt so taken care of—Alissa still talks about how you checked in to make sure she was eating and drinking throughout the day, which didn’t go unnoticed. Mike and I actually joked that we started functioning better as a team once you came into the picture – you literally made our marriage better before it started - LOL. You helped us communicate, prioritize, and actually enjoy the process. Your project management was masterful. Nearly every call came with a clear agenda: what we accomplished, what needed discussion, and what was next. That structure may sound simple, but it requires disciplne and organization, and established structure that provided clarity and forced alignment, and which ultimately helped us move forward with confidence. You never let perfection slow us down—but you also never made us feel like we were sacrificing it either. And when you offered a different perspective, you did so with warmth and grace, always guiding us to better decisions with your experience and steady hand. You were a rock for us—even when we hit a literal speed bump, or two! You commanded the room when it was necessary and made space for celebration to unfold around you. We woke up the next morning (after celebrating until 4:30am—a good sign, right?) and looked at each other thinking: How do we move forward without Jodi as our full-time life planner? We’re beyond grateful for your patience, your poise, and your heart. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We already miss you. We cannot say enough about how much we loved and appreciated our experience with Jodi, Mea, and the CES team. After we got engaged, we called our family and friends - and then Jodi. She had planned one of my best friend's weddings about 10 years ago and after working with her then, I always thought to myself, "If I ever get married, I want HER to be there!" She brought so much fun, joy, professionalism, expertise, and calm to the wedding planning experience.
We threw her many strange curveballs along the way, and she handled them all with enthusiasm and grace, and helped all the logistics fall into place. For example.... we started this adventure by telling her we wanted to get married on our property which at that time was just a giant mud pit. She was undeterred! She visualized the space with us and helped create a layout and flow that worked flawlessly, cheering us on as the grass finally began to grow. When we told her we wanted to have a mini petting zoo as part of cocktail hour complete with baby goats and a fancy chicken? She was thrilled and correctly predicted that the guests would love it! I told her I had always dreamed of having In n Out as a late night snack... she and her team made it happen!
With 270 guests, 3 food trucks, a band, a dj, and more, we were SO grateful to have Jodi and Mea there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Another surprise was that after a month of gorgeous weather, it rained the day of the wedding. She and her team never slowed down - she kept our spirits high, made adjustments where needed, kept all vendors in the loop, and the result was just magical.
From the first phone call to the last items packed up and driven away, Jodi went above and beyond. We felt cared for, listened to, and are forever grateful for helping make our wedding dreams come true! -

Jodi and her team were absolutely phenomenal. We truly could not have done it without her. She helped us make final decisions, attended vendor meetings, and kept everything running smoothly and stress-free from start to finish.
There were a few times leading up to the wedding day when family offered to help with little things, and it felt so good to say, “Nope, we’re totally covered—you get to just enjoy yourself!” That peace of mind was everything. Hiring Jodi and her team was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. 100/10 would recommend! -

Spectacular service

We highly recommend Jodi and the entire CES team! We hired CES to help us plan our wedding and rehearsal dinner and we are so happy we did. Jodi and Mea were amazing to work with. They helped us stay organized and enjoy the planning process. We had a lot of our vendors for the wedding before we hired CES, but did not have anything done for our rehearsal dinner which had over 50 guests. Jodi and her team helped us find a perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner and Jodi traveled to Tahoe to visit the venue with us. It was extremely helpful to have Jodi with us for site visits and menu/cake tastings. She gave us great advice regarding our menu selection and other details for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. Jodi and her team made our wedding day go incredibly smoothly. Both my husband and I had someone with the CES team with us to make sure we got to our first look location and the ceremony on time and with everything we needed. They took care of every detail for us on our wedding day including assembling our welcome bags, setting everything up and delivering our gifts and belongings to us after the wedding. They aslo made sure our bridal party and families went to them with any questions or if they needed anything. We are so incredibly thankful we hired CES to coordinate our wedding and rehearsal dinner. If you're looking for an exceptional wedding planner that will go above and beyond for you on your wedding day, look no further and hire Jodi and her team! -

A STELLAR team for wedding planning!
From the beginning we knew we hired the right team working with Jodi and her associates! Jodi went truly above and beyond our expectations to advocate for the exact details we wanted. She was responsive always (especially at 10PM at night when we received word that our venue cancelled our contract) and understood our vision, decor, and budget! Our plans were derailed a number of times due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Jodi and team did not miss a beat in shifting the focus to new plans and executing every detail perfectly. We felt the full extent of their value on our actual wedding day when we didn't have to lift a finger or worry about a thing because they ran the show seamlessly. The point of hiring a wedding planning team is to take the stress of the details away from the bride and groom. Jodi is something special. Not just as a wedding planner but even more importantly as a person. We hired her for a full service package and my husband and I both agree it was the best money we spent on our entire wedding experience. Our wedding was in a location where we did not love and did not what was available to us. Jodi found vendors, organized site meetings, handled all of the deliveries, the list goes on and on. And honestly I probably don’t even know about half of the things she did to make the day so perfect. I believe that is the goal when hiring a planner, she is an expert in what she does and she ensured that everything went better than we could have dreamed of. And no detail big or small was missed. The vendors we had all loved working with Jodi and told me over and over how organized and smoothly everything went, because of her. Jodi is someone you want to be around. She is an advocate for what you want when planning your day, she is the voice of reason to keep you on track, she is HILARIOUS. My husband and I consider Jodi family. The greatest gift Jodi gave to us was the time my groom and I were able to spend with each other on our wedding. We didn’t have to worry about set up/break down, we didn’t have to try and organize our wedding party, we didn’t have to time dinner service. We got to be present with each other. We were able to experience our day as newlyweds. Jodi found little moments and opportunities for us to have time alone with each other and take it all in. I would, and do, recommend Jodi and her team to anyone and everyone. -

Kinsey Sent on 08/14/2018I heard about Jodi, because she was the “best wedding planner” in our small town of Chico. Little did I know, she and her team would be not only that, but a WHOLE lot more. A wedding is the best day of your life, and Jodi and her team make it just that. I think the two things that stand out the most to me about CES is the organization, and the calming effect they have on you as a bride, and this day. They made it so easy. I felt like I never had to worry about a thing. Most importantly to me, was having my parents both very present at our wedding. CES was able to allow them to relax and enjoy the day. My Dad couldn’t say enough about how on top of EVERYTHING they were. Over and over, he told me how amazing it was to have them there. All of that is really great, but truthfully, the best part of Jodi and her team, is they’re trustworthy. They truly are your friends and they make it a point for you to know that. The relationship doesn’t stop after the wedding day. The friendship continues for a lifetime. Once a CES bride, ALWAYS a CES bride. I would recommend them over and over again.

It was truly a pleasure to work with Jodi and her team. We chose the “day of” package, but it certainly wasn’t a day of experience. She was constantly checking in throughout the whole planning and answered every question I had and gave great recommendations.
She is extremely professional, and objective which was critical when you are planning large(ish) wedding, in a short 6 months. She quickly picked up on all the details, got in contact with all of our vendors and put together a flawless wedding day! On the day of the wedding, she really helped calm my nerves and took care of EVERYTHING so that my bridesmaids and I (and my husband's groomsmen and him and our parents) could just enjoy the day!
I would hire Jodi over and over again! Look no further Brides, CES is really more awesome then I had anticipated. -

I knew right away I would be hiring them for my wedding as well. It is by far the best investment for your wedding to have them by your side. They take away all your responsibilities on the day, so you can relax and enjoy. My husband and I truly had the best day ever on our wedding day, thank you CES!
