LisaAnn was everything we could have hoped for.. and more! She was so much fun to work with, and would highly recommend her to any other couple planning a wedding soon. Not only did she leave a great impression on us, but every guest we have talked to about the ceremony practically raved about the emotional ceremony. She did a fantastic job molding the ceremony to fit our personalities, relationship, and beliefs. LisaAnn even helped with some last minute prep right before the ceremony where our wedding coordinator was lacking. She saved the day, and kept our experience totally stress-free. She is fantastic to work with! She really gets to know you both as individuals and as a couple and works together with you to create a unique and personalized ceremony. She has so many great ideas and suggestions as you work with her, too. In addition, we got a book with our entire ceremony as a keepsake which was really nice.

Very accomidating! We had a couple of meetings, and even a rehearsal at her house. Very calm during the ceremony. Ceremony, including sharing of the heart bits if you do them, are put into a book that she reads from and you keep after the ceremony!

I adored working with LisaAnn on my wedding ceremony. We wanted a ceremony that was unique and fun, and she did an incredible job learning about us, finding interesting traditions to incorporate into our ceremony, and making the whole experience incredibly "us." Many individuals came to me after our ceremony telling me it was one of the best they had ever seen -- and definitely the most unique. Music to my ears, and all thanks to LisaAnn's amazing work. You would be lucky to have her!

We used LisaAnn for our wedding this past August. We decided to go with her because she offered a completely custom ceremony. My husband and I are not very religious people but wanted to be able to show our love in a unique way....LisaAnn did just that. She helped us with everything involving our ceremony including helping us proof read our vows, helping us select readings that showed our family and friends what we were really about and helped us select the perfect ceremony addition which was the sand ceremony for our situation. We met with us in person as many times as we needed to perfect everything and made us feel like family in her home. The money was worth it and we wouldn't change a thing. Highly recommend her!

LisaAnn is WONDERFUL! She put together a ceremony that was unique, lovely and delivered beautifully. We were not looking for a religious ceremony, but we did want to satisfy some of our more religious and spiritual friends and family, and she found the perfect balance. It was also funny (as requested) and truly "us."

Not only does she have a lovely spirit, LisaAnn is also organized, responsive and flexible. She provided valuable feedback when it comes to vow writing. She also met with us numerous times over Skype (we live in NY, and our wedding was in NH) and helped us put together our rehearsal.

AND she gave us a really pretty book of the ceremony which we'll cherish forever!! Thank you LisaAnn!

LisaAnn was a pleasure to work with! We found LisaAnn just months before our wedding on a frantic search to find an officiant after plans changed with a family member who was going to officiate. After our first FaceTime meeting, we knew she was the one for us! LisaAnn is not your standard officiant. She is full of color, creativity, and enthusiasm! She took the time to get to know us and personally write our ceremony from scratch. She includes you in the whole process and comes up with an authentic ceremony just for you. For brides overwhelmed by details, she is a true gem! LisaAnn helped me simplify a lot of the details that were becoming cumbersome projects. We loved her realness, it meshed really well with what we're all about. We felt we could open up to her and she truly listened to us. She also made herself available to us in email and was always just one phone call away. It made for a fantastic ceremony and one of my favorite, most grounded memories of the day! I highly recommend LisaAnn without hesitation, she is an asset to the whole wedding process and a truly gifted celebrant!

LisaAnn really took the time to get to know us as a couple and make us a beautiful personalized ceremony. Hiring LisaAnn was the first (and one of the best) choices we made about our wedding. We got so lucky - we searched Google and immediately found our PERFECT officiant. After a short Skype call to confirm, on both ends, that we were a good match, we started planning. LisaAnn took all of our requests and added in her own ideas for consideration. She was amazingly helpful and made suggestions that really ended up shaping our ceremony into a unique experience. Afterwards, everyone commented that our ceremony was a real celebration of love and that it reminded them of the true purpose of a wedding.

In addition to the ceremony writing, we also highly recommend the "Marriage Visioning" session that she offers. What an amazing day! We felt so welcomed by LisaAnn in her home and were really able to clarify some ideas about what we wanted our marriage (not wedding!) to look like. She was the only person in the whole wedding-planning process who took the time to ask us about our marriage. The experience was invaluable.

LisaAnn was truly an amazing person to officiate our wedding. No matter you background, tastes, creed or religion, she is ready to make your special day complete. It was her relaxed and warm personality that made us know we made the right choice. She not only made us feel at ease but she invited us into her home and welcomed us as friends. She was very keen on listening to how we wanted our wedding ceremony to go. When my husband and I first started talking about what we wanted our wedding to be like, we agreed that we wanted the ceremony to be the most important part and that it be unique to us. LisaAnn exceeded expectations in making that the reality for our wedding day. From the first time we Skyped with her, there was an instant connection and understanding of what we wanted for our ceremony, and through several Skype sessions, her questionnaire, and feedback on the ceremony drafts, our ceremony became exactly what we wanted it to be with her guidance and input. She really was able to take what were talking about and turn it into a beautiful, meaningful, one of a kind ceremony. On top of it all, LisaAnn was wonderful to work with; she was there for us in more ways than one, and was extremely accommodating and flexible about the fact that my husband and I were planning the wedding out of state. The day of the wedding once again she was there in more ways in one, not just officiating the ceremony with excellence but also making sure I had something to eat before the ceremony! We so enjoyed and appreciated the time we spent working with LisaAnn, all of the work and heart she put into our ceremony, and having her be an integral part of us joining our lives together in marriage.

We met with three other officiants before deciding to go with LisaAnn. What made her stand out from the others was her calming aura, and unforced friendliness.

During our first meeting, she asked us why we were getting married. We told her how we loved each other and how we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Without blinking, she promptly asked, “So? Why marriage?” It immediately put the entire ceremony into perspective for us.

Her calming aura was exactly what we needed on our wedding day. In addition, she customized our ceremony in every aspect and made it feel truly like our own. Many of the other officiants we met with claimed to do just this, however when they sent us a sample of their work, it was obvious that theirs was a well-rehearsed ceremony narrative, with maybe a paragraph or two about the actual couple inserted somewhere in the middle. LisaAnn is a great writer and created a truly unique and touching ceremony for us. Thank you LisaAnn!

LisaAnn is hands down the the best of the best! From our very first Skype call, she really took the time to get to know us. Over the course of our engagement, she welcomed us into her home, fed us lol, laughed with us, cared for us, supported us, and helped us to figure out what was really important to us. We built such an amazing relationship with LisaAnn. She is genuine through and through, and I believe that it is through such an authentic process that she is able to help her couples to create a truly unique ceremony.

Our ceremony was a true reflection of who my husband and I are in every way and it was evident in every last detail…it was just so 'US!' My husband and I also completed the visioning workshop that LisaAnn offers. Throughout this amazing process, LisaAnn created a very unique space that helped us to define the foundation of our partnership and guided us in creating a vision for our marriage.

Our vision really became our ‘rock’ throughout our engagement-a place that we could come back to when we needed to get grounded and reminded of what it was really all about for us (you can sometimes forget what it’s all about when ‘life happens’ let alone when it happens while you are trying to plan a wedding! lol ;) Our vision then became the center of our ceremony…a way for us to really capture and express our commitment to one another and our intention for our marriage. Today, our vision is framed in our home and will serve as our rock. FABULOUS! LisaAnn is just The Best! For any couple, the Ceremony is truly the beginning. It's such a cherished moment that becomes part of a married couple's history together. My husband and I feel so blessed to have had this amazing opportunity to have LisaAnn as our Officiant. But, she is so much more than just an Officiant. She is loving, caring, thoughtful, warm, embracing... she really gets to know a couple for who they are, and she completely tailors the ceremony to match the personality and relationship of the couple. Whether it's humor, sentiment, or a particular uniqueness that you're looking to incorporate into the Ceremony, she will find a way to make it work beautifully.

While the Ceremony writing process can take time, all the effort is incredibly worth it. LisaAnn has a Questionnaire for the couple to fill out, and it really helps her to capture additional details that you may not have initially thought about. The Ceremony is such a deep and personal decision of how you want to begin your life as a married couple, and LisaAnn guides you through it all with heart and love. At any point if you're not sure about something, she'll openly, honestly, and kindly offer suggestions, including the Vow writing process (if you decide to write your own vows!).

Lisa Ann was far more than just an officiant for our wedding. She became a friend and incredible support through the whole process of being engaged and planning a wedding. We shared tea at her house as we planned, and talked about the enormous transition we were going through. When I had a mishap with my dress two months prior, Lisa Ann saved the day! When we faced upsetting medical events she supported us.

And most importantly, the CEREMONY was AMAZING. Lisa Ann totally got us. I have been getting calls for days about how wonderful the ceremony was. It was spiritual but not religious, just what we wanted. It was unique, natural, and touching. Also, on the day of, Lisa Ann helped us stay calm and centered, which was a huge help! Lisa Ann was phenomenal. From making special accommodations to be with us on our day. To doing her best to understand us as individuals and as a couple and our family dynamics. To assembling a ceremony that was custom tailored to US, not just the same old template that everyone else uses and just fills in the blanks with their names. LisaAnn is the most wonderful officiant/celebrant I have ever come across, and I am not just saying that because it was my wedding. I had a difficult time locating a officiant who could do Celtic hand-fasting, and not only did LisaAnn know how, but she totally ascribes to the philosophy and history of the ritual. She spent so much time with us, helping us write our vows that would be recognizably Celtic and yet our own. We also worked together to choose Celtic/Irish blessings that would compliment the ceremony and still tell our story. LisaAnn has gift with words, and know just how to describe the life and love you share as a couple. Working with her was a dream come true. The day of the ceremony can only be described as magical, as she is so calm and spiritual. She made our ceremony interactive, memorable, unique and spiritual- couldn't ask for a better celebrant!

LisaAnn did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony on June 14, 2014 at Old Sturbridge Village. We were very comfortable with LisaAnn from the moment we met her and she did a great job of getting to know us as a couple and then articulating that in the ceremony. We had a small wedding and many of the guests commented on how thoughtful and appropriate the different parts (comments/reading/vows) fit together and flowed beautifully. Also, since we planned this from afar, LisaAnn was very helpful with her insights into local venues and vendors. LisaAnn is awesome. She is the one to go to if you want to create a unique ceremony that is all your own. She is extremely helpful and experienced in helping you find the right words. When we met her we were very concerned that the person we hired would not know "us". We knew right away with Lisa Ann that this would be an issue, we felt that comfortable. A word of advice, if you are looking for a standard ceremony or not wanting to invest the effort in creating something unique the she may not be right for you.

LisaAnn has a not often found skill set of being able to really listen, internalize the words that were said and then take that information to the next level, revealing what you would have liked to have said.

Our customized wedding ceremony was very in tune with our wants and needs and fit us to a tee. Lisa Ann was extremely flexible with our schedules and everything was perfect.

LisaAnn was absolutely the best officiant for us! Her soft spoken nature coaxed us from our shy shells. Her kind words were genuine and much appreciated. We both instantly felt at ease as soon as we met LisaAnn. She seemed to know us so well after our first visit to her home where she cooked us dinner and talked about all of the things that we were about, not just the day to come. That first meeting was not just for us but for her as well. She wanted to make sure the three of us would "fit" and form a strong team. That was important to us. After over 7 years of dating, the ceremony itself was the most important thing to get right. Having LisaAnn at the helm meant having someone who cared as much as we did. Isn't that what your ceremony should be? We cannot imagine our ceremony being as meaningful to us if we did not have LisaAnn guiding us through all of the stages leading up to and through the moment. I was so impressed with how she made the ceremony so personal and meaningful without making it religious...I was so worried the ceremony would feel like a quick "must do" before the party rather than a really touching and personal event, and she made sure it was exactly like I imagined. It's amazing how quickly she got to know us as a couple and was able to make the ceremony so personal to us. She provided sample vows and readings to help us and was very timely with all our pre-wedding meetings and drafts of the ceremony. She made a great recommendation about how to seat our immediate families to allow them to see us better, ad my family is so grateful! She also helped us include loved ones who had passed away in the celebration without making it too sad. I am really glad we spent the time and money to work with LisaAnn and have such a memorable and heartfelt ceremony.

There aren't words to express how amazing our wedding ceremony was. There was laughter, tears, revelry (one of my guests even yelled out "hell ya" ) and above all joy exoressed by all. My fiancee (husband now) and I had met with her 3 or 4 times; once to get aquainted and 3 times (including dinner x2) to discuss and finalize the ceremony.
LisaAnn became a friend rather than just an officiant that we found on-line. She made our ceremony about our relationship and what was meaningful to us. A comment from one of our guests that sums up LisaAnn's art for developing such beautiful ceremonies "I thought she had known you for years, she was able to portray your love for eachother exactly how we all would have".

We cannot thank you enough for the amazing ceremony you planned for us. Our day was so special-the ceremony fit us perfectly. As you know, I have had my ups and downs with the whole idea of marriage and the ceremony made these feelings disappear. It was exactly what I wanted and it reflected each of us, and us as a couple. When I got engaged, I was adamant that I did not want to have an impersonal, cookie-cutter ceremony, and LisaAnn worked really hard with us to create a unique, personal ceremony that truly reflected us as a couple.

LisaAnn is an incredibly thoughtful, perceptive, and engaging officiant. We got married in June at the New England Aquarium, and we found LisaAnn through the Aquarium (one of their wedding events) - we are so lucky that we did! She took time to get to know us ahead of time, so that our ceremony was personal, written just for us. She also recommended readings to us that really resonated. Something we did not expect but appreciated immensely was that she pushed us to question each element of our ceremony; as a result, each part had meaning to us, as opposed to doing certain things just for tradition's sake. The ceremony she wrote meant so much to us and to our guests, as we heard over and over throughout the night. We can't count the number of times we heard something along the lines of: that was the most beautiful/most meaningful ceremony I've experienced in a very long time, or ever. We knew that we wanted to work with Lisa Ann from the first day we met her. We were very comfortable with her, and she always reminded us to make decisions based on what we would like and no one else. From our very first telephone conversation with LisaAnn early in our engagement, we immediately knew she was going to be great to work with. After dealing with several other vendors in a frantic manner, LisaAnn quickly explained that she didn't believe in stress. After our first dinner with her we knew we had not only found our wedding officiant, but a close friend. LisaAnn was tremendous to work with, from start to finish.

We couldn’t have been happier with our experience with LisaAnn – she is an amazing person.

Early on in our wedding planning we knew that we wanted my fiancé’s best friend from college to be our officiant. We had ideas on what we would like to have in our wedding ceremony (religious/ spiritual aspects), but we were not sure how were going to go about creating our own ceremony.

By chance we met LisaAnn at a wedding expo and during our conversation she gave us insight to who she was and the services she provided, which included being an officiant and scripting wedding ceremonies.

Shortly after attending the wedding expo we reached out to LisaAnn to inquiry about her availability and thankfully she was available. From our initial meeting with LisaAnn we could see/ feel the passion she has for the work and services she provides. LisaAnn genuinely worked to get to know both myself and my fiancé, not only as the individuals we were before we met each other, but also as the couple we had become during our courtship.

Over the course of (at least) 6 sessions we worked with LisaAnn to create an initial draft of wedding ceremony, which we revised in subsequent meetings based on the feedback that we shared with each other. As we approached our big day LisaAnn hosted us and our officiant to go over the ceremony and shared her expertise with us to help ready us.

We can not thank LisaAnn enough for the work she did in helping us create such a great ceremony which was personalized to suit our personalities and aspirations. If you are looking to create your own ceremony we would recommend LisaAnn’s services in helping you. First, let me say that LisaAnn is not your ordinary Officiant. She is a very dear, very sweet, very spiritual person who becomes a very dear friend in the process of creating your perfect wedding ceremony. Lisa starts out asking you exactly what you are looking for, and learning as much as she can about you and your fiance. Where do I begin? LisaAnn was our first choice for an officiant. We were so excited to meet her. We did not even speak to anyone else because we really were hoping she would be available. She welcomed us to her home and we talked as if we were always friends - we were so comfortable with her. We agreed right there that we were lucky to have her to help us celebrate our marriage. She is so great at reading people and truly understood what we hoped to accomplish with our ceremony. She asked all the right questions and we rambled for hours (which seemed to fly by). The questionnaire she created was so thorough and super helpful in pulling it all together. We collaborated to create our ceremony and that was especially important to us. What she wrote, how it intertwined and flowed - it was beautiful and she made it a keepsake for us. She encouraged our creativity and want to combine Hindu traditions within the non-denominational ceremony. She was very accommodating with our schedules as it was hard for my husband and I to sync up because of work and travel. She was always reachable and we relied on email to work on drafts and ask questions. There is absolutely nothing I would change about it (except all my crying...haha). We have even cooked for each other. LisaAnn is more than an officiant to me. At our wedding, she was amazing. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that wants a ceremony that is reflective of them as a couple.

We interviewed a JP and LisaAnn last summer as we were considering what we wanted our wedding ceremony to be like. We were not even out of her driveway after our first meeting with her before we knew that we wanted to work with LisaAnn to co-create our ceremony.

The questionnaire we completed in advance of our first meeting was a great way for her to get some insight about us as a couple. Completing it was also a great way for us to reflect on our relationship and to put into words how we feel about each other and why we wanted to get married.

During the course of our meetings with LisaAnn, we all got to know each other. She made it a point to learn about our history apart and our history together, what is important to us, how we feel about each other, what we wanted out of our ceremony. She also provided a timeline detailing expectations for each of us (when we should expect a first draft from her, when she would need our initial feedback, etc).

LisaAnn does not believe her duties as a celebrant end with performing the ceremony. She believes her role also involves facilitating a well-coordinated ceremony. To this end, she creates an outline of the highlights in the ceremony to share with the key vendors who will be involved (ie: DJ, photographer, videographer, venue representative). This ensures all key players know what to expect in advance so that things go smoothly (and its one less thing for the bride and groom to worry about!).

She also ran our rehearsal. This went beyond ensuring we and our bridal party knew where to walk and stand. She also helped us personalize how we processed down the aisle—rather than leaving my father at his seat in the front row and walking to meet my groom at the altar, my groom came to meet me and my father at the front row. We had an opportunity to share a hug before we got started, and then we walked to the altar hand in hand, and we held hands throughout our ceremony. This is a very special memory for both of us, and I believe LisaAnn gave it to us. She also suggested a seating arrangement for guests which we had not considered: Our parents and immediate family sat in the front row opposite their own child rather than in the front row behind their own child (so they could see the joy on their son or daughter’s face throughout the ceremony, rather than watching their child’s back). This is so simple, yet is such a thoughtful touch.

Additionally, LisaAnn takes on the role of supporter and cheerleader, striving to ease stress and provide a calming influence leading up to and including the wedding day. She came to speak to each of us shortly before the ceremony, checking on how we were doing, providing encouragement and support.

A few months before the wedding, LisaAnn drafted our ceremony and suggested some readings based on what she had learned about us during our meetings. From there, we all worked on the ceremony together, making suggestions back and forth. LisaAnn was very receptive to input, and feedback was a two-way street. My mom passed away a few years ago, and I was struggling with this loss as we planned our wedding. LisaAnn encouraged me to incorporate my mom into our ceremony in a way that felt comfortable to me, and she helped make this happen in a lovely and tasteful way. Ultimately, we had a ceremony that was very personal, that fit perfectly who we are as a couple and described our love and our relationship beautifully.

Our guests raved about our ceremony, some commenting on how personal and meaningful it was, and many more saying it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. We both agree that our half-hour ceremony was by far the best and most memorable part of our entire wedding day. LisaAnn is simply extraordinary; we’d give her more than 5 stars if we could.

We met with five other officiants before we found Lisa Ann. When we met her we immediately felt a connection with her and she was someone that we both trusted. We worked with Lisa Ann for over six months to develop the ceremony of our dreams. She understood that we wanted something one of a kind for us as a couple, and something that conveyed our unique journey with one another. We got exactly that. The ceremony was one of the most beautiful parts of our wedding and guests still comment on its beauty. Lisa Ann is everything we could have asked for. LisaAnn was professional, of course, but more importantly...everything came directly from her heart. She cared so much about making our ceremony mean something to us and she was so intuitive about even the smallest details and questions for us. Our first meeting with her was what sealed the deal - there was an instant connection. I expect that others would easily find that instant connection, as well, because she is so honest and loving. She has a lot of life experience and she draws on that for compassion and understanding.

We also did the relationship visioning with her before our ceremony and that was incredibly fun! My husband and I spent the whole day with her, we had thai food take out for lunch, and we had such a great conversation about our relationship, our goals, and what our marriage would be like. We created almost a "mission statement" for our relationship as a married couple - and it was actually very cool.

Another amazing thing about LisaAnn is how she is very spiritual but not bound by any rule other than compassion and love and honesty. My husband and I do not go to church and we are not super religious - call us agnostic, maybe. And yet LisaAnn was able to make our ceremony special, symbolic, and spiritual by drawing on our friends and family for their faith in us, support, and the magic of togetherness (as corny as that sounds.) Trust me, as soon as you talk to her you'll understand what I mean!

LisaAnn is also very reachable by email and responded to us even at unspeakable hours if we had any questions! She was wonderful on the day of, arrived early, and made things go smoothly. We did not have a rehearsal dinner but she still encouraged us to hold a meeting with her and our close friends and family involved in the ceremony (bridesmaid, etc) to just do a quick run through - thank goodness we did! Even though we had a very small, intimate, simple ceremony...that was a very good idea to have us do.

Hands down, I would recommend LisaAnn to anyone! You will NOT regret it - and do the visioning, too. It enables her to make your ceremony even more personalized and meaningful and you learn a lot about yourself and your partner, too.

My husband and I found LisaAnn through an internet search for interfaith officiants. We felt hypocritical choosing a minister from a church we did not regularly attend. Having been brought up in a fairly religious family, at the time I was slightly embarressed finding our officiant this way, but it ended up being the BEST decision of our wedding planning- besides the decision to have the wedding in the first place ;-)

LisaAnn is an amazing person, and was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She is warm, genuine, and takes the time to truly get to know both people involved- individually and as a couple. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect for us. We'll never forget it; it was meaningful beyond words. LisaAnn even created a ceremony book for us, with all the words that she spoke and the vows that my husband and I wrote for eachother.

While the end result of our ceremony was beyond expectation, so was the process getting there. We had several meetings with LisaAnn beforehand, and email exchange back and forth as needed. If wedding vendors are stressing you out, LisaAnn will be a welcome relief. Her nature is very patient, very understanding...I can't tell you enough how much I appreciated that! We feel blessed to have found her and will continue to stay in contact.

LisaAnn was incredible. We live in Houston, Texas. We planned our wedding in Boston, despite neither of us ever having traveled there prior to the wedding. LisaAnn was so helpful and offered incredible guidance and resources. She worked with us via Skype prior to the wedding and spent an entire day with us the week of the wedding. Our vows were uniquely beautiful thanks to her guidance and our ceremony went off without a hitch, despite not knowing whether it would be held inside or outside until the night before the ceremony. In addition to the ceremony, she also provided us with a full day of pre-marital counseling and we cannot say enough great things about her patience, geniune care and concern and overall pleasant nature throughout the entire process. We are now huge fans of LisaAnn and she is most certainly welcome as a guest and as a friend in our home any time.

LisaAnn made our wedding ceremony so personal and special. During our short engagement, in just 3 months, she got to know us-- she listened, asked thoughtful questions and wrote a truly beautiful ceremony. What a gift our ceremony was - complete with a random horn honk, which occurred at just the right moment. Hands down, our ceremony was our most favorite part of our wedding day. We will remember it always. To my now husband and I, having a personal and unique ceremony was extremely important. Therefore, I was very careful while choosing who would officiate my August 27, 2011 wedding. I initially found LisaAnn Donegan of Ceremonies From The Heart by searching WeddingWire for officiants in the Boston area. Soon after reading through LisaAnn’s reviews and reading through her website, I had a feeling she may be exactly who we were looking for. We met with LisaAnn and immediately felt a connection. I truly got the sense she understood what we were looking for and knew how to get us there.

One of the special aspects about working with LisaAnn is that she really got to know us, so she could guide us in the right direction while we (LisaAnn, myself, and my husband) put together our ceremony. She guided us through the process of writing the ceremony, with as much or as little help as we needed. This was exactly what my husband and I needed because we wanted to make it as personal and as memorable as possible, but neither of us had any idea about where to start. LisaAnn gave us an initial outline, which gave us the opportunity to edit/add until we had the perfect ceremony and I must say, it was the most PERFECT ceremony for us. It is a part of our wedding that we will never forget and we really do have LisaAnn to thank for it. If you are looking for a "cookie cutter" standard wedding ceremony then LisaAnn is probably not the right officiant for you. But if you want something personal, meaningful and top notch, look no further. LisaAnn invests a lot of time into the ceremony by getting to know you, what you're about, what things mean to you and generally what YOU want the ceremony to be. LiasAnn was amazing! We sat down with her for our first meeting and told her our story of how we met and how our relationship evolved and who we are today as a couple. LisaAnn was a pleasure to work with and helped us create a ceremony that was incredibly touching and reflective of us as a couple. I had so many comments from the guests afterwards about how the ceremony was just so spot on for us (and how many people were all choked up!)
In the months leading up to the wedding, LisaAnn kept us on schedule with the ceremony design and writing of our vows. I had dreaded working on the ceremony, but our meetings with LisaAnn were so easy and friendly. (She makes it seem easy, but really she's a total professional and knows exactly how to facilitate everything). And we didn't go through a lot of drafts because she was pretty spot-on.

LisaAnn was a fantastic addition to our wedding! My husband and I were hesitant about "creating" our ceremony because, let's be honest, we don't exactly have a way with words. LisaAnn made the experience as easy as possible. After meeting with her only once, she really "got" us, giving us a list of possible readings and vows that really spoke to our relationship. My husband and I knew we wanted to elope and originally had an appointment at City Hall to do so. After hearing the clerk call our wedding day an "appointment" we knew that City Hall just wasn't for us! Even though we weren't having a traditional wedding day we still wanted a ceremony that was warm, meaningful and most importantly reflected upon my husband and I and our relationship. When searching for an officiant, my husband and I thought that we were going to face quite a challenge. Neither of us are very religious, but we did want to incorporate spirituality into our ceremony. Thank goodness we found LisaAnn! She welcomed us into her home and instantly we felt a connection. Her philosophy really appealed to us. She gave us so many options about what we could include into our ceremony but still provided us with enough guidance that we didn’t feel overwhelmed. It was really refreshing and honestly, made us look even more forward to our day. We contacted each other often and by the day of our wedding, we considered LisaAnn to be a part of our family. We cherish the ceremony that she wrote specifically for us. She had us and all of our guests laughing and crying. After the ceremony, our guests commented on what a unique and intimate ceremony it was – they had never seen anything like it and they felt so privileged to be a part of it. We felt so lucky to have LisaAnn as a part of our special day and recommend her with great enthusiasm to anyone looking for that spiritual-not-overly-religious ceremony that focuses on love and family. Rev. LisaAnn is the BEST BEST BEST!!! My husband and I were so thrilled that she was available for our wedding in October '10. She incorporated both of our religions as well as a Celtic handfasting for us. The moment we met LisaAnn we felt like we had known her for ages. We will definitely be asking her to perform a baby blessing for us in the future!

LisaAnn was absolutely wonderful and we would highly recommend her! We were planning a vow renewal ceremony for our 20th wedding anniversary, to be held in Massachusetts but we live in North Carolina! LisaAnn not only worked with us to create the ceremony, she gave us suggestions for location and photographer! It was wonderful to have someone so knowledgeable about the area - it made it so much less stressful. The ceremony she wrote for us was VERY personal and customized to us in every way! To renew our vows on the Cape Ann coast with LisaAnn was a magical, beautiful moment we will cherish for ever.

We feel so fortunate that we were able to work with LisaAnn to craft our wedding ceremony and marriage vision. As an event planner by trade, I was so thankful for her attention to detail and commitment to making sure we were all in the right place at the right time. With LisaAnn as our guide, I was able to focus on my future husband, and not the order of events.
LisaAnn encouraged us to make our wedding ceremony our own and as a result, the words, people and rituals involved were most meaningful to us. Many of our guests commented that our ceremony was incredibly thoughtful and personal, and that they were laughing and crying along with us.
By the time we got to our wedding ceremony, we felt that we had gained a friend in LisaAnn and comforted that we will also have her to turn to for support in our new life as husband and wife.

LisaAnn was incredible to work with. Wonderful, cooperative, team-oriented personality. She brings significant theological knowledge spanning many different religions, cultures, etc. She easily tailors the service to the clients' needs.
