Perfect Elopement
Nan was the perfect officiant for our elopement. She was an incredible resource every step of the way, from applying for our marriage license to ensuring it was properly mailed to the county. We got married this past February and we were incredibly happy with Nan’s officiating! Not only did she give a beautiful ceremony in front of our family and friends, she gave us advice and was very comforting in the weeks leading up to our wedding. Nan gave us examples of ceremonies that past clients had used, so we were able to get a better perspective on what we would want our ceremony to look like. As someone who hasn’t been to a lot of weddings, I really appreciated this touch! My husband and I were able to piece together a ceremony that was entirely unique to us, and expressed everything we wanted to our family and friends. Nan was super professional throughout the entire planning process, and kept in touch with us throughout. Sometimes, when you hire a vendor, you can go months without hearing from them. With Nan, this was not the case. She communicated with us frequently enough to make sure we felt comfortable leading up to the big day, without us feeling any sort of pressure from her. On the morning of, she made sure to walk us through how the ceremony would function to help dispel the nerves of the day. She went above and beyond in everything she did for us, and all for a super reasonable price! All in all, Nan was a phenomenal addition to our day, and I would recommend her every time to anyone looking for an officiant!

We were lucky enough to have Nan as our officiant for our October wedding at the Hilton Clearwater Resort. She showed up early and was soooo helpful in making sure everything went smoothly! Beautiful ceremony
My husband and I originally booked our wedding with Nan for August 2021 but due to Covid we needed to push it back. Nan was very accommodating when we needed to change the date several times. She even offered us a small studio ceremony and still did our big ceremony with reception months later. Nan officiated our wedding on the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa. She was excellent and totally helped us with our self-written vows. They were a little unique. She was absolutely professional, polite, and patient. ( I [groom] forgot the license at home, for her to sign. Added about 30 minutes to our ceremony, but it ultimately made the sunset in our photos absolutely perfect.) I appreciated Nan's patience, but she really didn't seem to mind at all waiting for my wife to save the day. A wonderful, memorable, and sentimental ceremony
Nan, does a fabulous job with helping to create and officiate a memorable ceremony... We selected an outdoor location at a park and everything went great. It was super! Around a week after the weeding, Nan sent a very nice package with a picture memory stick and a couple CDs with the music we selected. She also added so very songs that has no doubt made that CD our favorite forever! We would highly recommend Ceremonies by Nan to anyone look for a low cost, low stress, intimate, and special occasion. Nan has been providing this service for quite a while and she has it down! We wanted something short and simple and to the point. We were going to be on vacation and just decided it was time we did this thing called marriage. NaN invited us to her studio and made our wedding super awesome. She even took pictures and put them on a flash drive for us. Both of us have been married before and said how awesome Nan was and how we enjoyed our little private ceremony better than our big lavish wedding. A Day to Remember...
Nan is one amazing individual who knows how to make such a special day beautiful, love-filled, and deeply memorable. Victor and I married a month ago and Nan was our officiant. it was an intimate ceremony that infused our own vows, blessings from Victor's mother, and beautifully scripted words that Nan shared with us and our guests. Magical Experience
Nan, was simply amazing! From the time I contacted her which was almost a year in advance up until our wedding date. She was very professional, timely, and handled everything accordingly. It was like a magical experience how everything went so smoothly. She made our day that much special and we enjoyed every moment. The vows she provided matched us perfectly! An officiant you won't forget
Nan was everything we wanted and more. You would think, because she is just reading what you choose for her to say, how hard of a job is it. Well, Nan was and is more than that. She was constantly checking in on us, and giving us advice, as this is both of our first times getting married. She sent over a bunch of different options for us to go off of for her to say. She kept us calm, when we were getting overloaded with the scripts. It may seem like an easy thing, but those vows, are a very big thing in your wedding. Nan met with us in the beginning, so we could get to know each other. She was very sincere and real, and that is what myself and my wife like. Nan was very good with our little kids also, even helped us with our chosen sand ceremony at the end. Nan was very professional and even told us some of her secrets that truly make her an outstanding officiant that all the others. Thank you Nan for an awesome day and thank you for all your effort with our family.

We wanted a simple, intimate ceremony to cosummate our marriage so we researched private wedding officiants in the Tampa area and came across the name of Nan Klater. In reading the reviews about Nan's services, we felt that she is the wedding officiant for us, so we sent her a message. Nan responded within hours and set up a call and face2face meeting for us to discuss our options. She was very professional yet had a personal touch that made us feel that our preferences are very important to her. She recommended Fred Ball Park as our wedding venue, which was perfect for us. We liked the idea of exchanging our vows in a nice gazebo, close enough to the water. Nan offered several samples of wedding vows and from those, we came up with our own, personalized wedding vows.
On our wedding day, Nan was right on time (she arrived at the venue ahead of us) and had everything in place, even the music. The pictures that she took before, during and after our wedding are all wonderful. They captured everything that was meaningful to us on our special day, and more.

It has been a month since our wedding has passed and our guests continue to tell us how beautiful the ceremony was and how the words and presentation were just perfect. Nan is beyond amazing. Jumaane and I opted for a small ceremony once we found out we were relocating across the country for his job. With Nan's exceptional help, we were able to put the ceremony together in one week...yes, that's right, one week! Nan was super organized and the planning was the easiest. I'm talking no stress at all as Nan took care of everything. Nan remembered all of the intricate details and those in attendance thought we had been planning with Nan for awhile although we had only known her for a week and never met in person. If you are looking for quality and professionalism, Nan is your vendor. If you are looking for quick turnaround and responsiveness, Nan is your vendor. If I had it to do again, I would have contacted her sooner.

My son planned to marry his finance while his family was in Florida. We are all from NY. I, his mom, had come down earlier. His dad flew in as a surprise and his brother, who was getting engaged in Orlando, flew in also as a surprise. Nan managed to delay the ceremony discreetly to accommodate all the surprise guests The ceremony was so beautiful and intimate and private. We would recommend her to anyone planning a last minute, private beautiful ceremony. The park was so pretty.

Three months later, our wedding guests are still telling us how beautiful, unique and memorable our ceremony was. We just keep hearing, "Most receptions are fun, but what I will remember most about your wedding was the ceremony." My now-husband and I had the hardest time figuring out who would officiate our wedding. We have different religions between and amongst our two families, which made planning the ceremony a daunting task. Finally, Don at the Rusty Pelican recommended Nan as an officiant who could help us make our families feel respected and us feel relaxed, and Nan did those things and more. She provided enough structure to take the stress off but let us customize as much as we wanted to. She spoke with us on the phone multiple times, since we were planning the wedding long distance, and she was so flexible with our rehearsal plans for our large bridal party. We can't recommend her enough!

Nan was very helpful in helping us arrange our wedding ceremony, offering great suggestions and insight. She was very accommodating to us, meeting with us several times prior and also helped us with our vows. She also had a terrific photographer she recommended to us. Thanks Nan!

Nan officiated our wedding on May 8th at the Rusty Pelican and did and absolutely stellar job. She as so kind and wonderful to work with. She was happy to answer all of our questions, and made everything effortless. Nan also was very responsive when answering emails and phone calls, I never waited more than a few hours and she had her answer in my inbox or voice mail. We would highly recommend Nan to officiate your wedding. When we contacted her, she sent various sample ceremonies so we could determine what type of ceremony we wanted. We ended up pulling aspects from several ceremonies to design our own unique one. Nan arrived early on the day of our wedding so we could go over any last minute details, and our ceremony turned out perfectly. It is obvious from her professionalism that Nan has performed many, many ceremonies. She is very accomodating, and we know that you will be very happy with her services if you choose Nan to officiate your wedding. Thank you so much, Nan!!
