Delicious and Professional

They were a dream to work with, every detail from the large to the small was considered. Attentive, responsive and considerate, they will make your wedding that much more special. If you or a guest have food allergies or sensitivities, don't worry! They will work on crafting a menu that everyone that attends can eat, and make sure that they are cared for!

Absolutely the best!

Cannot say enough great things about Center Stage Catering! The food was amazing. The staff was responsive and so nice to work with. But did I mention the food? It just could not have been better! The guests and other vendors were so impressed! I highly recommend Center Stage Catering !

Excellent and Delicious

Highly recommend Center Stage Catering. They have excellent customer service and are very professional. The food is absolutely delicious and we were so impressed by the service provided the day of our event.

Professional and Delicious

Center Stage worked so hard on our catering needs. I felt like we were in such good hands long before the wedding day! I could not have been happier with the menu and it did not disappoint. Everything was amazing. Hot and delicious. The staff was wonderful. I am sure it was difficult and probably scary for some. We appreciated every sngle bit. I would not change a thing!!!

Fantastic service!!

Center Stage Catering did an amazing job! They were very professional and provided amazing food. I also hired their bartenders and they also did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend them!

Great experience!

Caleb was very helpful and was able to get all of my questions answered very quickly and was very responsive to all of my emails with questions or concerns. It was great working with Center Stage and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone needing catering service!

A Perfect Fit!

Center Stage catered my wedding and they were absolutely AMAZING! The food was great, the staff was extremely accommodating, and attentive. They exceeded my expectations for my big day! All of our guests LOVED the food, and the bartenders were so awesome! I would definitely recommend them to cater ANY event. You will not be disappointed!

We love Center Stage!

Working with Center Stage was an absolute dream! Karen made the whole process easy and headache free. The staff could not have been more generous the day of our wedding. One of the workers even went out of her way to make sure my husband and I had an appetizer before it was gone, which was super thoughtful. We had many guests tell us the food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We can’t wait to use them for another event in the future!

Best Wedding Ever, Thanks Center Stage!

I do not normally write reviews for businesses, but felt like I needed to say something about Center Stage Catering. I have been involved in the planning of several professional meetings in North Carolina, Virginia, and DC and as a result have worked with multiple caterers over the years. That said, when it came to my only daughter’s wedding I was pretty picky and we looked at several throughout the Smith Mountain Lake area.

Specifically, we paid attention to the quality of the reviews, especially in terms of menus, value, as well as service and narrowed it down to a final four. Eventually after talking with Karen and her staff and my daughter and her now husband doing a well-prepared tasting we decided on CS for this most important day! Even though the venue was our raw land in a tent in Bedford county their support, food and service were exceptional in every aspect! Simply said, we could not have been more pleased and would recommend them to anyone that wants great service and amazing food! Thanks again for everything!

Best Experience, Best Food

Center Stage Catering was recommended to me by my venue and luckily enough they had a special menu just for my venue. Picking Center Stage Catering was one of the easiest decisions in the wedding planning process, though picking our menu items was so hard because I wanted it all. All their options looked so good! We decided with typical southern cuisine: fried chicken, ham biscuits, vegetarian lasagna, green beans, salad, buttered whipped potatoes, and mac n cheese. All of our wedding guests were from out of town/state, so everyone was looking forward to some good country cooking and Center Stage Catering did not disappoint. I definitely would recommend Center Stage Catering to any bride, no matter what food style they are looking for, I’m sure Center Stage Catering can do it!

Logistically, I communicated with Karen Schopp and she was very quick to respond and provided a lot of detail when I had questions. The buffet attendants at the wedding were amazing and I really appreciated just their smiles as people walked down the buffet line. Smiles go a long way for me.

The catering was done for three social events at a major annual community activity. CenterStage earned high marks in every category for the second year. Many in our group have used catering firms. CenterStage distinguishes themselves with the creativity in food items and the presentation. They are clearly #1 with a big gap between them and all the others. We have found that using CenterStage gets people talking about how CenterStage is the best they have ever seen. I am not prone to giving the highest ratings in surveys like this, as I feel there is always room for improvement. CenterStage has earned this review.

Center Stage did an amazing job for our wedding! Several months later, people are still talking about how good the food was! Their staff was incredible and paid attention to even the smallest details. I would highly recommend Center Stage to anyone!

Center Stage Catering is a world-class company and the best catering by far in the greater Roanoke Valley and southern Virginia. They have catered this luncheon since 2012, and with each year the already exceptional food and service has improved. For any wedding or other major event, I would consider no other caterer.

The food was delicious! And they were willing to go above and beyond their job title to make our day special. They were very flexible with the menu and provided us with many different options that fit perfectly with the menu that we were looking for.

My inlaws used Center Stage as the catering for our rehearsal dinner. It was AMAZING! They did a variety of pizzas, with a fresh salad (wonderful dressings), and cute mason jar strawberry shortcakes. Everyone raved about the food! They were so helpful with the setup and cleanup of the event. I highly suggest their work at your event :)

On October 9, 2016 I had the privilege of taking my best friend and making her family. One thing that we did not want to mess up on such an important occasion was the food. We contacted with Center Stage Catering and Karen was willing to work with us on our menu, keep us below budget, and make our entrees inclusive for our guests with dietary restrictions. Karen allowed us to change our minds about renting plates less than two weeks before the wedding.
Shanna was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed at the end of the night. The staff of CSC was courteous and professional throughout the evening. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was and no one left the reception hungry. CSC also plated and packaged our wedding cake and pies for guests who were staying and those who were taking the desserts with them. CSC even sent us a handwritten card with a quote from the Maid of Honor’s toast from Doctor Who, so either they have some Whovians on board (which is excellent) or they pay great attention to detail (which is also excellent).
We appreciate that CSC was there to share our day with us. We will certainly refer others to them in the future and look to them for any future catering needs.

Hands down, some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! We were so excited to have Karen and Center Stage Catering provide food for our wedding in May 2016. From our first meeting with CSC, my mother and I knew that they would be a great fit. Karen was so easy to talk to and very accessible throughout the planning process. They thought of absolutely everything! On our wedding day, the quality of food and service was outstanding. My friends and family still rave about their mac and cheese!

Center stage made the food for our wedding and delivered it, rather than staying to manage any of it, but that was exactly what we wanted and center stage was very flexible. They were also incredibly affordable with the menu we had in mind and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this vendor to others.

OOOOOOmmmmggg !!! Center Stage is hands down the best catering business out there !! I have nothing but awesome things to say about them.... I made a budget and they stayed within that budget, everyone loved my food so much at the reception that they now want to use them for their own various events.... I had some changes that needed to be made and I think i turned into a slight bridezilla (they say i didn't) a week before my wedding and they accommodated ALL those changes without a flinch of trouble.... Karen and her crew are the BEST...even with all the jumble and craziness a reception can hold, they made it flow gracefully and without any worries that they wouldn't be able to handle any given situation if any had arose. They keep all my guests in line and made sure everyone felt welcomed and was taken care of... Highly recommend Center Stage for your next event... be sure to get the mac-n-cheese too !!

Amazing food! They work hard to create a menu that fits your ideas and personality. When we went to discuss a menu, both owners were there and one was in the kitchen and bringing out samples of various ideas he was working on. They gave us great recommendations and suggestions. They gave us the idea of adding a personal touch, if there was some food etc that was special to us. We gave them an old family recipe and they were happy to make it for us & it turned out wonderfully! We would highly recommend them and hope we can use them again for a different event in the future!

I was thrilled with their food selection and ability to build a custom menu just for our event. They were incredible to work with. They took great care of us from start to finish. If you're looking for a caterer this is who you want to chose.

Food was great

The food was outstanding. Everyone commented on how great the dinner was. The only problem was even though the onsite person asked numerous questions, and I had discussed with the baker keeping the cake top when they offered to cut the cake, the ENTIRE cake was cut. The top was not saved and I felt like the bame was being placed on us for not reiterating that the top of the cake should have been kept for the one year anniversary. I would not hesitate to use them for food again, however, be sure they know that the top of your wedding cake should be kept.
