Beautiful and Talented!

Anne (Celtic Harp Music) was an amazing addition to our wedding day! Anne was incredibly detailed and responsive in her communication. She took the time to understand our musical preferences and made thoughtful recommendations that perfectly complimented the vibe we were going for. One the day of, Anne’s harp playing was absolutely beautiful - it created such a lovely, elegant atmosphere that all of our guests commented on. She is absolutely fabulous and was the perfect addition to our big day. We are so grateful for her talent and highly recommend her to any couple looking for beautiful live music for their wedding.

Best Harpist Ever, 10/10 Highly Recommend!

We were blessed Anne was able to play at our intimate wedding. Anne is a super positive and upbeat person and a joy to work with. She is an exceptional harpist and has an impressively and almost overwhelmingly huge music list for us to choose from and create the atmosphere we envisioned for our wedding. Anne plays so Beautifully!

Anne was amazing at our destination wedding at Tahoe Blue Estate! Our friends and family had nothing but great things to say about Anne’s beautiful harp skills. She has a HUGE music list to select from and it was so fun selecting our music. Her music made walking down the aisle much more special. I just wished I could have sat by her and listen to every song! If you are looking for a harpist for your special event, we couldn’t recommend Anne enough - she is amazing! We would hire Anne again for any future events!

Anne was absolutely incredible. Her professionalism went above and beyond. Communicating with her was fairly easy. When we had questions and requests she accommodated to us in a timely manner. The day of the event she performed and helped make our day absolutely perfect. We were very lucky and thankful to have her be a part of our special day.

11-4-23 Sacramento Wedding

Anne is clearly a pro! She spends ample time beforehand preparing so that she knows exactly what you want. Her music really added to our pre-ceremony, the ceremony itself, and cocktail hour. We requested a Third Eye Blind song while my husband walked down the aisle. It was a difficult arrangement, but she surprised us and learned it just for us! Thank you for going above and beyond, Anne!

Accommodating, professional, and talented artist.

Anne is not only a talented harpist, but she is beyond professional. I learned for the first time how fickle the harp can be (i.e. it can only play in certain temperatures), and a storm decided to roll by during our wedding day. Anne not only kept me updated throughout the week of the wedding but offered potential solutions. She also has a very extensive playlist that has a lot of newer and pop songs, which my whole family loved. Anne brought a touch of magic to the ceremony that made it a little bit more special. Would definitely recommend if you decide to go with a harp for your wedding.

Impress your guests!

I dont know why every wedding doesnt have Anne working the veremony and cocktail hour. I promise you that every single wedding Anne is at there is a conversation piece all about how talented she is. But it just adds this element of poise to the event. No matter what the event is... its perfect.

I am a professional photographer and I get to see Anne work and see the BTS of how she sets up. She has everything she needs and doesnt rely on the venue or DJ to make her sound amazing. Which is rare for a live artist.

So... Need or want a harpist. I mean... here you are. Impress your guests!

The perfect touch!

We had a small, intimate wedding on the lake. We wanted to keep a cozy evening feel and definitely wanted something different at our wedding. Anne was truly the perfect touch to our wedding day/night and played the most beautiful music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and throughout dinner for us and our guests. The list of songs that she can play is truly astounding and we were able to pick out songs and create a playlist of some of our most favorite and special songs. She was very easy and delightful to work with! We are SO thankful for Anne and her beautiful gift!

Loved Anne's harp music for our wedding (and so did our guests!)

We hired Anne for our wedding in May 2022 after coming across some videos of her work on our search for a local harpist. We loved her engaging performance style, bright smile, and how beautiful she made both classic as well as contemporary music of all styles sound on the harp.

We could not have been happier with our decision. She was responsive and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. Walking down the aisle to her lovely live harp music was the stuff of dreams. Our guests commented on how fun it was to hear popular songs played on the harp during our reception. It was a perfect classy but fun vibe! We cannot recommend Anne enough for your wedding or other event.

Anne is simply wonderful

We decided that we would like to have some live music for our outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour--specifically, Celtic harp music. Anne's reputation was excellent, her recordings superb, and her website detailed and impressive. When I contacted her, she and I talked at length to discuss what I wanted and what she offered. She has great attention to detail and is amazingly professional, but also very personable and sweet! Speaking with her was always a pleasure. She had great recommendations for processional and recessional songs, and played several over the phone for me to choose from. She helped me curate a setlist of Celtic and non-Celtic pieces for the rest of the event. When we decided it would also be fun to have a fiddler at the event, she found us a wonderful violinist, Kat MacMartin, and coordinated the music with her.
On the day of the ceremony, Anne (and Kat) played during the seating, ceremony, and cocktail/photo hour. Their music was just as beautiful as the recordings, and set the perfect magical, ethereal element I was looking for. I've gotten so many comments and compliments from attendees over how beautiful and perfect the music was, how perfectly it set the scene.
I 100% recommend Anne for anyone who is looking for an extraordinary musician, who expertly brings great talent and artistry with professionalism, for your event. Thank you, Anne. We are so lucky to have found you!

Beth and Bill's Review

We had the good fortune of finding Anne for our wedding in the small, quaint, church of St. Johns in Coloma, CA. She was very accessible and professional, and our wedding was imperfectly perfect by both her music and her kind presence. She also had my wife's nephew, William Hutchens, sing, "A Time For Us", during the ceremony. He is so good, and lives in Reno. He performed so well with Anne that she is going to hire him for any couple who would like both a harpist and vocalist. We highly recommend both.

Camp Richardson Wedding Ceremony Music

It was a true pleasure working with Anne for our wedding ceremony! Anne has such a wide range of songs that she plays and she does so beautifully! through Ann's music, love lives on

Ann played live Celtic harp songs while my bridal party and I walked down the isle and during various parts of the ceremony. Every note she played emulated soft subtle notes of pure romance. It was breathtaking and lovely.

Amazing music by an Amazing Performer

If you want to add some elegance to your event, look no further! Anne performed at my wedding ceremony and everyone was amazed to hear her harp music. She is really accommodating and is able to play a wide range of music genres. She even learned to play a song per my request for our wedding. I highly recommend her if you want to add a classy element to your experience!

Simply Amazing!

Hiring Anne was the greatest treat to our wedding ceremony. Best Harpist

I had the pleasure to work with Anne this past April and she was such a blessing to be around. During the Planning process with my couple, Anne was very easy to get ahold of and communicate with. She arrived on time to the wedding for set up and was super flexible when we had to move her from ceremony to reception. Not only was Anne such an easy vendor to work with, she was such a sweetheart during the wedding and played amazing music for the whole evening. Wonderful soundtrack to our wedding

As we were planning our wedding, we considered having a live musician for our ceremony. And I am so glad we did! Anne was always professional and kind to speak with and provided really helpful insight on how to select music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I had so many guests come up to me excited about how they could recognize the songs we selected and as I walked down the aisle, it really felt like I was in a dream! A wonderful addition to our wedding

We needed live music for our church wedding and wanted something extra special. The solo harp was sweet and fairytale-like. We are so happy we went with Anne. She was very easy to communicate with and made things a breeze. If we had to do it all over again, we still go with Anne. Very happy with the outcome.

Added to the beauty, uniqueness and tranquility at our wedding.

Anne was absolutely amazing at our wedding. We first met her at another friends wedding and wanting something different than a boring DJ. So we decided to hire Anne!

She was able to play songs from our list of “our songs” that we’ve played over the years and was able to make our day so special and unique. All of our guests told us as well how beautiful it was to listen to the harp and eat brunch and watch the river flow by. I could see her playing in any setting, by a pond, in a field, by the river, in a cabin, a church or on the beach. Anne was absolutely so sweet and professional as well as beautiful and timeless at our wedding and I can’t wait to hire her again for our next special event!

The Amazing Anne

My family has known Anne for many years & when I got engaged my dad insisted we book her for my wedding. Before we even got to talking about music Anne spent several hours on the phone with me, giving me venues and caterers to check out and other people to ask after. She is a wedding professional and a joy to talk to. She gave me so much advice about having a wedding in the Reno-Tahoe area that I never would've otherwise gotten.

Her playlist is beyond expansive. I was so excited that our song was in her repertoire (I Will Follow You Into the Dark) as it's not a traditional wedding song. It sounded so beautiful as she played it behind our ceremony. Being two millennials getting hitched we also loved her playing of I'll be There for You from FRIENDS for our processional and the Game of Thrones theme song for our recessional. The GOT song got a lot of recognition and admiration. It's a moment I won't soon forget.

Anne was always easy to contact and encouraged me to ask any and all questions I needed to. Which I did! She's a professional 100% of the way. So many of my friends and relatives relayed their amazement at her musical ability to me and my husband. I chose mostly popular love songs from the last couple of decades for her to play during our cocktail hour. My favorites were Come What May, Killing Me Softly and God Only Knows. Anne was a joy to have on our special day. To make your wedding ever more memorable, hire this extraordinary musician.

Anne is truly an artist. The music she creates on the harp is perfectly tuned for the occasion. She is professional and punctual and ready to accommodate any request. There is no comparison to having live harp at your event. The space was completely changed once she began playing. I highly recommend choosing Anne for your wedding or event.

I got married on the Hyatt beach at Incline Village in June of 2018. Having a harpist was one of the fundamental aspects of my wedding vision, and I was so grateful to have found Anne! She was such a great communicator throughout the whole wedding planning process and she regularly followed up with me the weeks leading up to the big day. Her music was absolutely beautiful and it made the day unforgettable. She offers such a wide variety of music, and she also played several special requests for me for my first dance and father-daughter dance. Anne is a true professional and I highly recommend her for any special event!

Anne was terrific and very professional from the start. We had a Catholic wedding ceremony and she was able to quickly learn a favorite hymn to play among others she already knew. We held our reception at the Bistro at Edgewood Tahoe in their private dining room and there was just enough room for 23 guests and Anne. With family, fine dinning and lively music the night was a success with many family members highlighting the music. Anne knows so many varieties of music it was hard to limit my choices. Everything she played was memorable, but the guests all broke out in song to Neil Diamond! We were able to sample her music on Amazon Music and "Blue Jeans & Velvet" was our favorite CD. If you have any doubts of hiring a harpist, listen to Anne's CD and you will be delightedly surprised how wonderful and how much depth hiring Anne Roos will add to your special event.

Anne Roos was a great addition to my holiday party. She added a special element and was able to play a variety of music spanning all genres. Her agreed upon performance was scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. She was such a hit, I asked her if she could extend her performance by another hour. She was able to extend for a nominal rate. She was extremely personable and professional not to mention TALENTED! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Harpist. I will definitely ask Anne to perform again at future functions.

Anne is so wonderful! As soon as I started looking at wedding venues in Tahoe, I contacted Anne to see if she was available on our chosen date because I really wanted her to play at our wedding. She is incredibly talented and easy to work with. She was very accommodating and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, even providing weather and road construction advice each time we traveled to Tahoe. She was also extremely considerate in asking us what colors she should wear to the wedding and very professional with her equipment set-up and amplification. I highly recommend her services, as she is a dream to work with and her music adds a beautiful touch to every event!

Words won't ever do justice how thrilled we were to have Anne bless our ceremony with her magical music and presence. We struggled for a bit to find the right live musician--most of the live wedding music out there is either hipster, country, folky, or too cover bandy. It just wasn't us. And we didn't want to force live music just for the sake of wanting to have it unless it embodied who we were as people. With that being said, one rainy morning, I stumbled upon Anne's profile here, and thought I'd give her a call and pick her brain. We are huge Loreena Mckennitt fans (we own all of her music on vinyl and have seen her live, so it only felt natural to talk with Anne about our musical preferences) and we were blown away when she both responded to our inquiry immediately, and was very open and straightforward about learning our favorite Loreena songs. Beyond this, Anne stayed in touch with us up until the big day. She was helpful, warm, inviting of our ideas, and incredibly thoughtful. Anne was hands down one of the greatest highlights of our day. Our guests won't stop talking about the magical harpist and the unique experience of her playing inside of the covered bridge. Thank you Anne! We will be following your music for years to come! Anne is amazing! She played at my outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour at Heavenly and it was magical. I asked Anne about a song that I had in mind for my entrance down the aisle, which at the time was not part of her repertoire. Sure enough, without hesitation, she took the time to learn the song and it was absolutely perfect! Everything I had hoped for and more! Throughout the rest of the evening our guests continued to compliment how beautiful the harp music had been. Words cannot express how happy I am to have had her play for my wedding!

Anne recently was our harpist at my daughters wedding in South Lake Tahoe. She was fantastic.

My experience with Anne was nothing short of amazing. I put some info on a wedding website looking for a harpist and Anne emailed me within an hour of posting it. She called me the next day and went over all of her pricing and services. My wife and I agreed that it was very reasonable and within one day Anne had sent us her entire song catalog, along with audio of her playing many of them. She even offered to Skype with us if we wanted to hear any of the songs she didn't have audio for yet. Her list had such a wide range and fit every need we had. Her music was beautiful and was the perfect touch on our perfect day. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone looking for a harpist for their wedding.

Anne is simply amazing. From our 1st contact at the Bridal show until our vow renewal she was nothing short of fantastic. I'm so glad we booked Anne for the ceremony. Anne was very professional and quick to respond to any email, request, and question I had. She was very accommodating and made helpful suggestions when I had a difficult time making decisions. What can I say, other than Anne was incredible. From the first time I contacted her, she was very polite, professional, and just a pleasure to do business with. It's very obvious that Anne has plenty of experience and knows what she is doing. She asked questions that made planning the music for the ceremony easy, and never left us in doubt as to what was going to happen that day. My wife and I had a catholic ceremony in a church, which Anne was very familiar with, so she knew exactly what kind of music to play and when and everything went incredibly smooth and according to plan. Contact back and forth with Anne was also very easy. She is on top of everything and responds very quickly. She also follows up with you if she doesn't hear back, which I thought was great. There is a lot going on when planning a wedding, and it can though to stay on top of everything, so Anne's friendly reminders were very helpful. Last but not least, Anne is an excellent harp player. Her music during the ceremony was great, set the ambiance, and our guests really enjoyed it. Anne, we can't thank you enough!

I really wanted a harpist to play for our ceremony and we decided to hire Anne. I am so happy with our decision. She is a beautiful harpist. I couldn't decide between three songs, so she played each of them during the ceremony. It was so lovely. And all my guests came up later to tell me how beautiful it was. We got together about a month before the wedding and she played me whatever I wanted to hear. She helped me decide on which songs to play before, during and after the ceremony. And after the ceremony was over, she continued to play while we got our photos done so the wedding party could enjoy her music. She has a real talent, and what a memorable and beautiful way to walk down the isle.

Anne was great to work with and her music is absolutely beautiful. Truth be told - I don't really remember the music - but I don't really remember much of the wedding except that it was absolutely the best day of my life! That being said, everyone who I talked to said that the harp music was incredible! It was so unique and fit so well with the whole atmosphere.

About 3 weeks before the wedding, we asked Anne if she could play a particular song that was important to us. She didn't have it in her repertoire but was able to find the music, learn it, and play it for us during the ceremony. We were blown away by her professionalism and desire to go above and beyond!

You won't be disappointed if you have Anne play for your wedding!

Anne did a beautiful job for my outdoor wedding. The music was fantastic and could be heard perfectly. She played all the songs I wanted and her music list is extensive with great selections. For anyone who is looking for something different for their wedding, Anne Roos is the way to go. I couldn't be more pleased!

We were so fortunate to find Anne Roos to perform her beautiful Celtic Harp music for our son's wedding at Lake Tahoe. Nothing could have been more beautiful for the Lake Tahoe setting in the woods and the serenity of the Lake.

The beautifully played Harp music took us and the other guests to a place in our minds that was romantic and soothing. Nothing could have made the ceremony more beautiful and meaningful.

I got such great feedback from my guests, everyone enjoyed the music! I am so glad that my husband and I got to sit down with Anne and listen to a few songs in person because the only song I remember hearing was the one I walked down the isle to. Not only was she less expensive than the DJ but there is something special about hearing live music being played.

I found Anne while searching on the internet and found through GigSalad. Read the reviews and checked her website that led me to her beautiful sample music/recordings/performances. There was another string artists in GigSalad offering me their violin music service - they don't have any website, no sample music, and instead asking me to email them personally and my info - thought they're Scammers, try to get my money, wedding crash and ruin my wedding. If you want real value for money, very reliable, very professional, with website/sample music and wonderful wonderful music - you hire someone like Anne. She will reply to you right away, you don't have to follow up because she will. She'll send you the agreement, money down and then follow up again for your music selection (l just pick over 50 songs from her list) and if it's not on her list she'll find it for you. She'll make suggestions which music is appropriate for the ceremony/reception. Think about your wedding without any music? Anne played wonderfully and beautifully and kept our wedding happy - she's a beautiful person too, will dress accordingly to your color motif. Carrying her harp, chair, umbrella (for outdoor) and play over 50 music is no joke, you'll get more from Anne. We had our a very small and intimate wedding, we also had our photographer, videographer, and Anne (and her assistant) sat with us during the reception - they're not there just to do their job but we want them to be included in our wedding/in our family. As an artist myself, l know what they do is hard work. Professional great artist like Anne especially her calm/gentle spirit - you want her to be a part of your wedding too. For me, she is the Best Harpist in Sacramento and The Sierra!

Anne provided the ceremony music for our wedding. She was fantastic to work with, by far the most organized and responsive vendor we worked with in Tahoe. We met her a few months before our wedding and she very patiently played some of our favorite songs and helped us come up with which songs we should use at our ceremony. On our Big Day, the music was just perfect. We really appreciated how reliable and detail-oriented she was, probably the only vendor we didn't ever have to worry about! Thanks Anne!

Anne provided ceremony and cocktail hour music for our wedding outdoors in the Water Gardens at the Hyatt. She was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Anne was able to provide us with recommendations for other vendors. She also gave us a lot of guidance when we were trying to choose the music to play during our ceremony.
The day turned out great and we received a lot of compliments about how great Anne sounded during our ceremony.

Anne did an absolutely beautiful job playing music during our ceremony at Edgewood in Lake Tahoe, NV! All of our guests were in love with the elegance of having a harp player during the ceremony, and greatly enjoyed listening to her amazing talent! The guests were so excited to be able to recognize the music she was playing, such as, her famous, "stairway to heaven" by Led Zepplin, and "Desperado" by The Eagles, along with many others! Just take a look at all of the songs she plays on the harp! She is amazing! I would 100% recommend others that want their ceremony to have that perfect elegant touch, to higher Anne for their ceremony! Thank you again so much Anne for performing at our wedding! It wouldn't have been as perfect and complete without you!

I hired Anne to perform at my brothers wedding as a surprise. Anne was professioanl throughout the process and willing to learn new music if nessary to accomidate my new sister-in-laws wishes. Everyone at the wedding was impressed with the quality of the music and we all thought it really added a special touch to the day. My brothers wedding was on a beach in Tahoe and Anne was able to accomidate this by bringing a carbonfiber harp down on the beach along with an amp so that everyone could hear the music. I felt like the price was reasonable and she fulfilled her contract completely! Thanks Anne!

Anne is a most talented musician. She arrived well in time of the event and played beautifully. She dressed in Celtic attire for the Irish guest of honor. Her performance was above my expectations and I highly recommend her for any event. She played Celtic music as well as a special list of Broadway Show tunes as requested. Guests were in awe of her talent.

We wanted a harp player during my ceremony. I googled harp player for Tahoe. Took a chance and could not be more pleased! She was great to work with! A huge music selection, on top of everything, and best of all, my guests LOVED her music! I was getting compliments all night. Anne helped make our special day one to remember!

Anne did a great job! We were really excited to have her since this was the 9th wedding this year of all our friends. Having a harp player there was a unique touch and I think everyone was impressed. I'd recommend her again and she was a pleasure to work with.

Anne played our wedding in June, she was absolutely amazing and so kind and patient with us in the planning of our special day. Anne thought of every minor and major detail for my ceremony music, and she kept me updated and stayed in touch with me throughout my wedding planning. The harp music sounded beautiful, and she does a great job when she samples your selected songs for you to hear. Her personality is very kind and she likes to make sure you're satisfied with her services which I very much appreciate.

Anne provided such beautiful music, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Not only that, she was an incredible resource prior to the wedding, suggesting other vendors and even locations as I was in the planning stages. This was particularly helpful as we only recently moved to the area. We're looking forward to attending other events that she will be playing at, such as wine and cheese tasting events.

My husband and I were married in our home and when our son Paul and his fiancé Jess requested to be married in the family home I was touched. They wanted to include a passage I wrote for my own wedding into theirs and in continuing the family tradition; I knew the Celtic harp would be appropriate for their wedding. I had heard Anne play and thought how wonderful it would be to have her perform for Jess and Paul’s wedding. She was booked for the day, but she opened up her schedule to accommodate the wedding. Ann worked with me to coordinate the appropriate music for the ceremony which included Eternity Candle lighting and traditional Celtic Hand Fasting ceremony as well. Ann’s choice of music before, during and after the ceremony was amazing. We highly recommend her and she added greatly to the whole experience for our friends and family in attendance. Well done Anne!

Anne was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end ! My husband and I got married on the shores of Lake Tahoe and Anne provided music for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. We had specific music requests and what we asked for was a little complicated. Anne dealt with us in a patient, poised and professional manner going over details and making sure the bride was happy. Anne pulled off beautiful classical ceremony music and then switched over to folk-bluegrass style for the cocktial hour with some additional musicians she hired for us. We could not have been more pleased with the tone and charachter her talent added to our special evening! She went above and beyond our expectations!

Anne was an amazing addition to our wedding. We were married in South Lake Tahoe at The Edgewood Golf Course. My Husband was born and raised in Scotland, but I didn't want bagpipes. She had a wide range of music to choose from. I worked with mother in law to choose a song list of old Scottish love ballads. She played during our before and during our ceremony.

I highly recommend Anne for any event! She's amazing, professional, and very personable. She was always available, responded to all correspondence very quickly, and was a joy to work with. If I ever needed a harpist again, I'd use her!

Anne Roos is very professional and provided our ceremony music. We both wanted a harp and Anne Roos was a wonderful choice. She has an extensive library of music that she can perform including non-celtic as well as celtic favorites. She was very friendly and helpful in choosing music for prior to and during the ceremony. Her fee was very reasonable.

Our guests at the Rehearsal Dinner were enchanted by the requested songs she was able to play. The bride and groom liked country music, rock and roll and several artists whose songs you would never think could be played on a harp. She was amazing and looked like an angel!

Anne recently played our ceremony and while the music was beautiful, she was one of the more difficult vendors to work with. We wanted to have a family member who is a professional singer accompany her for the bridal march, but the only way that Anne was willing to accommodate was for him to spend 3+ hours traveling to her home to rehearse in her home studio (as opposed to sending an iPhone recording of her playing the song which was our request).

There were some other nuances with her contract and Anne also asked to be served a meal despite that her service was only for the ceremony and only for about 2 hours.

At the end of the day, the music was beautiful and Anne did have some advice that was helpful in terms of determining the processional.
