Personal, Genuine, Unforgettable Ceremony

Celia Milton was the perfect choice to officiate our wedding. She genuinely took the time to get to know us, provided us with help kits to get started on our vows and made the process extremely straightforward. After the ceremony too Celia remained in contact to ensure the name change process went smoothly.

About the ceremony- Celia’s words and preparation really fit my wife and myself like a glove. Her delivery was natural and really spoke volumes to recap our story and highlighted who we are as a couple to a tee. The audience was engaged and was moved (along with us- the bride and groom) by her words. Our preferences were more than acknowledged and taken into account.

About Celia- We will never forget how hard she worked to make sure our ceremony was perfect. Always was available, provided good advice and has followed up to ensure we stay on track- even after we were married. It was easy to confide in her about our story.

Coming from someone who wanted some elements of our Christian faith embedded in our wedding but making the ceremony about the couple- Celia really understood and put together a perfect ceremony for us.

Wedding officiant

Celia was absolutely fantastic! She made our day all the more special with her positive energy. Her ability to capture our 11 year relationship in a 17 minute ceremony, was truly impressive; So much so, that some of our guests came to us and asked if she was a family friend. We are both truly grateful to have had Celia be the one to marry us. If you want someone who is down to earth, thoughtful, and attentive; Then you need to pick Celia.

Celia Made Our Wedding Day Perfect!

From the get-go, Celia made me feel like I was talking to a family member. She was very attentive, funny and professional. She captured our life together so beautifully on the day of the wedding. Everyone was blown away and gave non-stop compliments on her delivery. Laughs, cries and everything in between. There is no question that Celia is a fantastic person and Officiant. If you are looking for a sign on who to hire for your big day, stop here. She's it!!! She was very helpful even after the wedding day with giving information on changing your name & obtaining your marriage certificate. I am so beyond happy she was here at our wedding with us. Michael was great!

Our wedding ceremony was everything we could have hoped for and more thanks to Michael. He truly went above and beyond in writing our ceremony script. When he sends you the questionnaire, do yourself a favor and take it seriously, and Micheal will reward you multiple times over by synthesizing your story into a beautiful ceremony.

Beautiful Backyard Wedding

From the moment I contacted Celia Milton for my wedding she made me feel so comfortable. Celia took the time to get to know me and my family. She was so friendly and inviting yet very professional! It was as if I was chatting with an old friend. Her professionalism was top tier and her attention to details to give a perfect and beautiful narrative of our lives and family dynamic was icing on the cake. At our ceremony there was a perfect balance of laughter and happy tears. I could not have created a more perfect ceremony if I tried. Celia Milton is the perfect balance of officiant and friend. The best officiant!!

- Celia was one of the easiest vendors to work with! She made us feel like we knew her for years!! Before our wedding, Celia did a few meetings with us to make sure our ceremony was exactly how WE wanted it. All of our guests were raving about her and what a great job she did!! The best ceremony!

Celia was incredible on our big day. We got non stop compliments from our guests all night long about her and our ceremony! She made our ceremony feel and sounds like she had known us for years. It was so special! She was professional and organized through out planning with her and then absolutely hit it out of the park day of. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend

Celia was our officiant for our April 2023 wedding at Ballyowen Golf Club in Hamburg, NJ. Not only is she very experienced in the industry, but is extremely personable and got to know us on a personal level to ensure that our ceremony reflected us as individuals and as a couple. Celia provided options for us to ensure we got our marriage license in our quick timeline (while we were living in different states!). Celia gave suggestions for the structure and content of her speech, and was open to any feedback before it was finalized. She also asked us to fill out a questionnaire to ensure that she knew everything she needed to know about us. We received many compliments from our guests about how much they loved Celia’s ceremony speech. We definitely recommend Celia for your wedding!

Phenomenal officiant in the NJ area!!

My now wife and I had our wedding this Sepetember and Cari was our wedding officiant. I cannot recommend enough how great she was with helping plan our ceremony. Cari made the process extremely smooth and took the time and attention to capture my wife and I's love story. Cari also provided us advice for how to get our license and what we should plan for after the wedding in terms of updating our records. Again, I cannot recommend them enough!

A Beautiful and Personal Ceremony

Celia made our day so special. She's funny, thoughtful and extremely helpful in all aspects from the writing of the ceremony, vows, and even post/pre wedding paperwork. A huge help to us on all fronts as a couple who were flying by the seat of their pants with our wedding. We could not even imagine our special day without her involvement. Through discussions and a very detailed and fun questionnaire we were able to formulate an extremely personal and one of a kind ceremony that went over so wonderfully with everyone who attended. Unforgettable Ceremony!

Celia was absolutely incredible from our first phone call through the end of the wedding day. After speaking with Celia, we knew she was the right choice for our wedding. She made the process as stress free as possible and was super flexible and helpful the entire time. She thought of such a unique touch for our ceremony (popsicles!) which was the perfect touch. Many of our guests asked us if we knew her personally because the ceremony was so personalized and beautiful. Our ceremony was perfect and we couldn't be happier :)

The perfect ceremony

Working with Celia Milton was wonderful. She wasn't available so Cari was our officiant and she was delightful. She was always willing to jump on the phone for a call any time we had questions. When she gave us a draft of her ceremony script she told us to run wild with it. She was so encouraging of us making the ceremony exactly what we wanted. My husband used her script as a jumping off point and inserted a lot of anecdotes and relationship tidbits so it was more personal to us and our story. And Cari's sing-song voice and cheery cadence made the moment so light (which definitely helped to ease my nerves and stage fright too!)

A magical day made even better by Celia Milton

Celia was fantastic from start to finish, she made this whole process easy and enjoyable. Her words were absolutely beautiful and she really took into account our wants for the ceremony. Amazing ceremony

Celia was an incredible wedding officiant. My wife and I knew she was the right person for us from the very first phone call, the energy she brings to the table is infectious. Amazing Ceremony

When we reached out to Celia about officiating our wedding, we knew right away she was someone we needed to book! She is energetic, perky and experienced. We got so many compliments on the authenticity of our ceremony and that it was a unique gathering that really encapsulated us as a couple. Celia was responsive and always interested in getting to know what makes us, "us". She was able to tie so many pieces of our life into the perfect ceremony. We had a lot of different (and maybe a little crazy) ideas and Celia was able to incorporate these pieces naturally into our ceremony.

We used Celia’s company (specifically Cari!) to officiate our wedding. We chose Cari because we went to another wedding she had officiated and were super impressed and she did not disappoint for our own May 2022 wedding! We received so many compliments on our wedding ceremony and that’s all thanks to Cari! Personable and Professional

We were having a lot of trouble finding a wedding officiant until we found Ceila. She was very friendly and personable and loved to chat with us during the wedding planning. It was great that she was so amendable to changing and having us review her speech and helping us write our own vows along with printing them in a nice booklet for us. We really appreciate Ceila and was an amazing person to work with and glad we found her for our ceremony.

Positive, Lighthearted, Uplifting vibe - easy and fun to work with

Celia was great –positive, lighthearted, and uplifting vibe. She was fun to talk to and easy to work with. We knew right from the start of our first conversation with Celia that we would choose her to be our officiant. Our ceremony was perfect – serious enough for the weight of a wedding, but also fun. She had great ideas, and had us approve the script ahead of time. She was open to all of our edits as well and wasn’t offended by our changes. Communicating details leading up to the day was a little difficult, there could have been a little more organization, but everything worked out in the end. Celia also filed our marriage certificate for us and sent us instructions on what happens next and how to get it, which was so helpful. After the ceremony all of our guests were asking how we knew her because they were all sure she was an old family friend. It was perfect. We highly recommend Celia!

The best officiant

Celia was a pleasure to work with. We had so much fun talking to her and she put together our ceremony and all of our guests thought we've known her for years! Our most reoccurring compliment at the wedding was about her and our ceremony. We felt she really got to know us and our story and reflected it beautifully in the ceremony she wrote and put together. Look no further! The best officiant! She even incorporated jewish ceremony elements in with ease and is great with any cultural elements.

Thankful for Celia!

Not enough words to say how fabulous our experience with! First off we were very lazy about looking for an officiant because we were nervous! We didn’t know how we would select them and how we would make the choice. We searched and searched and spoke to about 5 people. They were all just OK. But once we chatted with Celia it just clicked. She was real with us, open, and really funny! She was super sweet and thoughtful and sympathetic to our situation of having multiple postponements. Once we booked her the rest of the experience was just so smooth. She worked with us and let us review our ceremony script multiple times until we were happy. She gave us tons of ideas since we weren’t sure what we wanted to do with the ceremony. Afterwards, she handled all the paperwork for us and was very prompt with making sure all the legal stuff was taken care of. She is a such a pro and we are forever grateful for her. The beautiful words she said during our ceremony is something we will never forget.

The best of the best!

Celia is the best of the best! She was incredible to work with: always answered emails quickly, very flexible, was always available to hop on a phone call, and provided us with all of the license/certificate info. She's so sweet and personable, we immediately felt so comfortable talking to her and sharing our story. She provided detailed questionnaires for each of us to fill out which she used to create the most custom, intimate, and personalized ceremony. She included the perfect balance of serious, emotional moments and light-hearted stories/readings. She made great suggestions to make our ceremony special and really highlight us as a couple, including a pet blessing for our cats and a ring warming which was most of our guests' favorite part! We signed off on the script prior to the wedding and she followed it perfectly. Our guests are still raving about how much they loved the ceremony!! It brought the majority of them to tears and they all said it was the best ceremony they've been to. We knew the script was great but the way Celia performed it was even better. We really cannot thank Celia enough for exceeding all of our wedding ceremony expectations and making our wedding day so memorable and special! I highly recommend booking Celia ASAP!!!

Amazing Ceremony!

Hands down the best part of our wedding day. Our guests keep telling us how personal and unique our ceremony was. Even our photographers who have seen hundreds of weddings said ours was by far the best they've seen. Celia pulled literary references that were unique and fit perfectly with our story. Amazing Ceremony

Celia was wonderful to work with and so easy going. We discussed our wedding details and thoughts about the ceremony and then filled out person questionnaires. She did a perfect job transferring parts of that into a very personalized ceremony. Every guest we spoke to mentioned what a nice and unique ceremony it was and that they knew more about us than they did before the wedding! That's just what we wanted. She even added a flower ceremony for our moms. Definitely would recommend her.

Tears of Happiness

From the moment we engaged with Cari Schonfeld from Celia Milton, we knew that the ceremony she would provide would be something extraordinary. She engaged with us a few months prior to the wedding and developed a script that described who we were. The script she had provided was unbelievable and had me tearing even prior to the wedding. She had included readings and also made the ceremony align with who we were as a couple. I appreciated how she was able to personalize our ceremony and included the combination of the two different liquors we had from two different countries and created a beautiful reading on it. When the wedding had come, her reading in the ceremony had everyone attentive and emotional. She had our guests fully engaged. I had many people ask me after the ceremony where we had found her as they enjoyed the way she had performed the ceremony and loved the script she created. I would highly recommend Cari for your ceremonies as she has a way of engaging her crowd and making remarkable scripts that will really stand out. BOOK CELIA!! Celia, not only captured my fiancé and I perfectly in our ceremony but helped us make it beyond memorable. A week later we are still getting messages about how amazing and beautiful the ceremony was! We began meeting with Celia over the phone so she could get to know us, and us her. We had about 3-4 calls and a ton of emails back an forth. She is so responsive and really listens to what you and your partner want in your ceremony. WOW Cari blew us away!

I was drawn to Celia immediately based on her reviews and videos, she truly made her ceremonies about the couple and their love story. When Celia was unavailable she recommended Cari. Cari was the best decision we made for our Ceremony. Cari created a completely unique ceremony for us that told our love story and even helped chose readings for our family members. We wanted our ceremony to make you laugh but also be touching and have our guests feel apart of our story. I cannot tell you how many people approached us during cocktail hour and are STILL raving about Cari and her ceremony. Cari blew our guests away, she had them smiling, laughing and crying and reflecting on their own love stories. It was more then anything I could have dreamed of, she was by far the best vendor we had on our big day and helped to make our ceremony stand out forever to our guests. If you're thinking of booking Cari/Celia DO IT! And ask them about their awesome unity ceremony of tequila/jameson sharing! It was unique and our guests loved it! Thank you again Cari for making our ceremony more than just a regular ceremony but a story of our love and telling it perfectly. Cari officiated our wedding and she was excellent. She took the time to go over a script with us prior to the wedding to make sure it was exactly how we wanted. She is amazing!

Celia Milton is the absolute best wedding officiant! From the start, she was always so easy to talk to, very understanding of all the elements we wanted in our ceremony, and had great ideas to add. Every time we talked on the phone, it was easily an hour conversation of laughter, but also seriousness. She was SO helpful and understanding during our postponing process due to COVID, and made that whole experience 10x better. Our ceremony was everything we wanted and more. To this day, we are getting compliments on the wonderful ceremony script she designed, and how it was so sweet, encompassed our love, but also had some humor. We love to laugh, so we needed some humor in our ceremony! We highly recommend Celia to anyone who is getting married, she is the best!

A Breath of Fresh Air

Celia Milton was pure joy to work with. Due to the pandemic, my daughter's wedding needed to be rescheduled, like so many other couples' weddings, so Celia actually married my daughter and son-in-law TWICE! The first wedding was just an intimate, sweet affair in a park with only both sets of parents in attendance, and it was lovely. Two days ago (almost a year and a half later), my daughter and son-in-law tied the knot again, with Celia by their side, but this time in the presence of all their friends and loved ones. Celia was absolutely wonderful both times. She had everyone laughing one minute and crying the next. It was as if she had known my daughter and my son-in-law their whole lives. The ceremony couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Celia. It was a real pleasure both times!

Personalized and perfect ceremony!

We have been working with Celia for a couple of years now throughout our wedding planning experience. Personal and Beautiful Ceremony

My husband and I strongly recommend Celia to officiate your wedding! Only a few short weeks before our wedding, we suddenly found ourselves without an officiant. We feel so lucky that she was available on our big day. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial phone call. She asked us questions about how we met, what we are looking for in a ceremony, and shared some of her ideas and suggestions with us. She was so personable, funny, and kind that it was a no-brainer and we hired her by the end of the call. From there, we filled out a questionnaire and she sent us a draft of our ceremony. We were SHOCKED at how it so genuinely reflected who we are and told our love story so accurately. She took any suggestions we had to help personalize the ceremony further and we felt so confident that our ceremony was going to be exactly what we wanted. Fast forward to our wedding day- Celia was on time, introduced herself to all of our family, and put us both at ease before our walk down the aisle. The absolute BEST!

I first connected with Celia, who is so fun and so awesome, but she was booked for our date. She still took the time though to talk with me and after learning a little about us, she referred us to her colleague, Michael Yelle, who she thought would be a great fit for us. She was right! From the first phone call with Michael, we knew he was the perfect person to officiate our wedding. We knew going into this that we did not want a long and serious ceremony, because that is just not who were are as individuals. Michael listened to everything we said and delivered a funny, yet passionate ceremony that told our story. You would of thought Michael had known us for years! We are still getting compliments from our friends and family on how perfect it was and how they actually were able to learn some new things about both me and my husband from the ceremony. Michael gave us the sweetest ceremony ever!

I personally usually find ceremonies boring. The ones I have been to are way too long (like full hour or hour and a half) and just drag on and on and on and are so boring! We explained to Michael that we did NOT want this. The end result was a ceremony that was so personalized, so touching and endearing. I think almost every single guest cried at some point because it was so sweet. Sooo many people came up to us after saying how NOT boring it was and that they loved how personal it felt and that it was unlike any wedding ceremony they had ever seen before (in a good way). And everyone was saying how lovely Michael was, that he was both good at his job and that he seemed like such a nice person. And nice he was! He was so good at putting our nerves to rest before the ceremony. The whole ceremony was just so perfect I literally would not have wished for anything different!!!! You are in good hands if you hire them!

Like Family!

We booked Celia early on into our 2-year engagement and as soon as we met her, there was no one else that we could go with that would be better! Celia presented with both an easy going, hilarious personality….and also a serious respect for the important occasion that she was going to be a part of. Throughout the wedding planning and covid quarantine process, Celia would check in with us to make sure we were holding up ok and to answer all of our questions. She was easily reachable all of the time and she created the most beautiful ceremony that really captured who we are as individuals and as a couple coming together. We were laughing one second and crying the next. There wasn’t a single moment that I would have changed about her work. If I could give more then a five star review, I would!

Rev. Celia Milton is the best!

We had our wedding on Nov. 21st 2020. It was a small gathering of course but Rev. Celia Milton made the ceremony truly special and personable. I recommend hiring her just because her sermon is beautiful during the ceremony and makes people really want to listen.

Look no further for your wedding officiant!

As a couple that needed to reschedule their wedding three times, you can imagine how challenging a task it was to make our wedding day possible. But when it came to Celia Milton, she could not have been more accommodating. Celia took the time to listen to our every need down to the very last detail, and was incredibly helpful whenever we needed a little extra guidance. Celia created the most amazing ambiance for our wedding ceremony. From the first word she said, her soft spoken, loving tone captivated every last one of our guests, and her positive energy was contagious! All of our loved ones had smiles on their faces and tears in their eyes as Celia recalled the important milestones of our love story, and later announced as us husband and wife. Celia took the time to personalize our ceremony for us in many special ways. From remembering our loved ones who are no longer with us, to honoring our mothers with a rose ceremony, to including all of our guests in a heartfelt ring warming, down to the very special shoutout to our little french bulldog who means the world to us, Celia was flawless. The entire ceremony was absolutely breathtaking, and after many uncertain months, we finally had our very own fairytale of a wedding.

A beautiful ceremony

We got married on 10/30/20 and immediately got so many compliments on Celia's ceremony. She sent us a full ceremony script and we reviewed prior to the wedding. It was just perfect - personal without being embarrassing, sentimental, sweet and just a touch of humor. We had four different wedding dates and Celia was so flexible and kind during the whole process. We can't thank her enough!

Simply the best!

We cannot recommend Celia more highly! The ceremony Celia created for us was beautiful- it really felt like “us” and was so special to have it be so personalized. Not to mention all the help Celia gave us navigating changes due to COVID- from brainstorming new locations (yes, we went with one of her recommendations!) to guiding us through all the details we forgot - she really helped make our day special, no matter how different from our original plans. Celia was always a phone call away - we cannot thank her enough for her support and such a perfect ceremony!

Celia made our backyard wedding so PERFECT =]

How do I do Celia justice with this review?! No pressure...Celia is INCREDIBLE to work with! She has a real PASSION for joining love together. We asked Celia to preform our wedding ceremony right after we picked our venue. Things were going great until the dreaded PANDEMIC (cue gloomy music). Thankfully our friends and family were ok but so many things went wrong for us during this time. Celia stuck with us! She was totally onboard for our plan B, the backyard wedding. Using her past EVENT PLANNING skills she helped us find caterers and servers. The ceremony she preformed was so BEAUTIFUL!! I am getting teary eyed just thinking about it again. The readings she chose were unique to us and only us. You would've thought she knew us all our lives. She kept us so involved in the planning. She kept us laughing and made us feel comfortable. It did not feel like a stranger was marrying us but rather, it felt like a friend was marrying us. My husband and I could not be more GRATEFUL for Celia and her beautiful ceremony she presented us with.

Cari is amazing!

We hired Celia’s company after she officiated my sister’s wedding. When she wasn’t available, we were introduced to Cari who would be our officiant. Cari was the perfect fit for us. She is a lovely write and wrote a beautiful, personalized ceremony for us that so many guests praised. It was heartfelt and really hit all the notes we were looking for. We highly recommend Cari for all types of weddings. She was a doll and extremely professional.

Could not have chosen better!

Celia was the most perfect officiant for our intimate wedding ceremony. We wanted a confident, well-spoken professional with a sense of humor and ability to really personalize our script, and we got the most wonderful match in Celia. When we read our ceremony script draft, it felt like she had known us for years. It fit us that well. She gave us so much freedom to personalize and adjust, and we didn't even have to. On the day of our wedding, Celia went above and beyond to stop by our getting-ready room to check name pronunciation and wish me good luck, and head to the ceremony space and offer to help with anything we needed. Her ceremony was so beautiful and moving, all while being funny and uplifting. She even sent us a small gift box of goodies before the wedding and a beautiful card right after. We so highly recommend her!

Celia was absolutely amazing! We received SO many compliments on our wedding ceremony. Celia took the time to make our ceremony really special and unique, really painting a perfect picture of me and my husband. Before the wedding, she made sure that we approved the script, so there were no surprises, and was very flexible with any changes we wanted. She is very well spoken, and kind of quirky, which made the ceremony fun and enjoyable to be a part of- it wasn't dry or ordinary. She also has a very calm and nurturing voice, which really sets the mood for a romantic ceremony. Everyone raved about beautiful the ceremony was, and we owe so much of it to Celia!

Celia is the best!!

You dont usually receive compliments on your choice of officiant, but with Celia you will!. Not only is she an absolute pleasure to work with, she gets to know you as a couple and delivers the perfect words. Everyone loves how she made them laugh, and cry, and think about love. Personal & Intimate Ceremony in Brooklyn

My husband and I wanted a unique ceremony that felt personal & intimate for everyone involved. After watching Celia's videos from other weddings I knew she would deliver exactly what we were looking for. She got to know us and asked questions that made us feel at ease and reassured. I was asked so many times at our wedding how I knew Celia, everyone thought we must have known each other prior to the wedding because of how personal and invested she was during our ceremony. Celia is amazing! She was quick and humorous when she needed to be but then emotional and so sincere throughout the entire ceremony. I couldn't have asked for a better officiant. I know it can be a scary process picking people to be part of your special day, especially the ceremony. We didn't want it to be boring but we also didn't want it to be a show. We wanted our story to be told to everyone we loved most. Celia was the perfect officiant for us. She will always be part of my memories of our wedding day. Thank you, Celia!

I found Celia and a few other potential officiants through this site and after talking with Celia I knew I wanted her to perform the ceremony. We had several phone conversations leading up to the day. Celia took the time to get to know us and made us so comfortable with the wording we chose. She is thoughtful, insightful, funny and truly cares about making this day special for you. Perfect personalized ceremony

My husband and I got married back in the beginning of August. Celia made our ceremony beyond perfect. When I first contacted her about possibly using her has our officiant we ended up chatting for over an hour! Instantly knew she would be a perfect fit. She got to know our whole story. She made our ceremony so personal, people even asked if we knew her before the wedding! She’s super friendly and outgoing , she made our wedding ceremony non stressful . Couldn’t have asked for a better officiant !

Perfection for a wedding service

Although we have to admit Celia wasn't our first selection, as we didn't know her. She was highly recommended by the officiant who was not able to preside over our wedding. As it turns out, we couldn't have asked for someone who would better put together an order of service that truly captured who we are as a couple, our story and history. Helping our guests fully understand our history and making it easier for all of them to in turn become more familiar with one another. Therefore helping all our guests be able to join together as one group, as opposed to several groups of people from various relationships coming to one couples wedding.
Celia has a style and grace about the way she performs her task. She worked with us to truly get to know us prior to our wedding. Pulling together an amazing service filled with laughs, tears, memories and feelings. All those who attended love how she not only presided over the event, but became part of the event. It wasn't like having a stranger or person present who was there to just perform a task. She became fully engrossed with the event and our love for one another.
We couldn't recommend anyone better to perform the task. Celia also presided over our DJ's wedding, and this only helped to build more synergy between all those working to make our day something really special. It far exceeded our dreams.

Personal and Personable!

Celia is great! We were following her advice on all the wedding boards before we even thought of hiring her! Once we chose Olde Mill Inn we realized we could try and book her, and we did! She made our ceremony rich with details and told some stories about us. We got to include a hand-fasting and bottle breaking as part of our non-denominational ceremony. Several guests asked us if she knew us beforehand because it felt so personal. She was even patient with our nitpicking edits but also told us (rightly) what would work, despite our doubts. She's definitely a great choice!

Choosing Celia to officiate our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Our DJ recommended her (after having previously booked her for his wedding). From the start, she was punctual, professional, kind, reassuring, and an absolute pleasure. She took away all of the stress behind, really, the most important part of the day... the ceremony! Great Wedding!

Amazing experience

My husband and I got married 2 weeks ago and Celia was our wedding officiant. Celia was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to emails and phone calls and made the ceremony planning so easy! I got so many compliments on our ceremony!! It was exactly what we envisioned it to be! Beautiful ceremony

Michael Yelle preformed our wedding ceremony & it absolutely beautiful! All our guests could not stop talking about it. We were the first in our families to do a non traditional wedding so people weren’t sure what to expect. Michael has a way of getting people’s attention & all feel connected during this very special moment! He’s personality was very welcoming & I love his sense of humor. He knows how to make to less nervous about vows. We are so happy to have found them for our wedding!

"Best ceremony I've ever been to" - direct quote from wedding guest

Celia was so wonderful, she crafted a personal wedding ceremony that everyone who attended the wedding was very impressed with. One friend said she hates wedding ceremonies but loved ours. Everyone told me they were laughing and crying throughout the entire thing. She managed to speak about us and our relationship as if she'd known us for years. She was very flexible, sent us multiple drafts of our ceremony and samples for our review. Truly could not have been happier with our ceremony. She is a very warm, kind and funny person and was so easy to talk to while we were planning our ceremony. She's very engaging and kept our guests engaged throughout the ceremony.

Unforgettable ceremony

I got married last Friday at 26 Bridge in DUMBO, Brooklyn and Celia was our officiant. From our first Facetime call with Celia my husband and I loved her! We were both raised Catholic but did not want a religious wedding. She worked with us to create a ceremony that was personal, unique to us, and entertaining for our guests. Leading up to the big day we had multiple conversations and she really got to know our love story and what brought us together. Our guests are still talking about our ceremony and asking how long we've known Celia - people literally thought she had known us our whole lives. Some of my friends loved the way she spoke so much that they said she should have her own podcast. Also, when we signed a contract with her she sent us the cutest little box of sentimental items and just sent us a card saying congratulations again. She just makes you happy throughout the whole process.

If you are looking for a completely custom, personal, AWESOME, heartfelt ceremony...and want to work with an overall cool person, hire Celia.

Most beautiful personal ceremony

We love Celia! From the first meeting over FaceTime we knew we wanted Celia to officiate our wedding. She has the best personality and is so attentive to every single detail. As soon as we sent our first payement Celia sent us the cutest box with pre wedding goodies in it! Filling out the extensive questionnaire about our relationship and lives was a great way to reminisce about the years me and my fiancé had spent together. We keep hearing from our guests how personal our ceremony was and that is all thanks to the work Celia puts into writing her ceremonies. One of our guests asked us if Celia knew us personally because of the words she said. I can’t recommend Celia enough. Thanks for making our ceremony super memorable!

Celia was the highlight of our wedding day! She took the time to speak with us several times before our wedding and get to know us which resulted in a very unique and personal ceremony that many of our guests complimented. She was also very helpful through the process of obtaining our license.

Celia was WONDERFUL! Since the moment my husband and I spoke with her over the phone, we knew that we wanted her to be our officiant. She delivered the most beautiful ceremony and made it extremely special, personal and memorable. All of our guests kept telling us that it was the best ceremony they had ever attended – it had the perfect amount of tear jerking moments, but also the right amount of humor! Not only was our ceremony excellent, but Celia was great to work with. She worked closely with us throughout the entire wedding process and was always cheerful, professional, accommodating and readily available. I absolutely recommend her!

Omg!! We absolutely love Celia. We first saw Celia perform a ceremony at my cousins wedding two years ago and I was in complete awe of how personal and touching she made their ceremony. What is so unique about Celia is that she truly listens to you as a couple and is always right on board with any changes/suggestions to your own ceremony. We wanted a ceremony that spoke about us as a couple intimately and our journey as a couple up until that point of marriage. In her ceremony script, Celia truly illustrates to the audience how the couple fell in love, what makes them work together, what is important to them etc. Celia gets to know you very well over the course of time with facetime, emails, and phone calls. We loved always speaking to her on the phone because of her lively spirit, great laugh, and happy go lucky attitude. Celia also responded with record speed with emails or any questions we had and also went over with us our ceremony script several times to ensure everything was ok for us. She also has great ideas about doing certain traditions during the ceremony or honoring certain family members. For the day of the ceremony Celia arrived early and spoke to all our vendors, we didn't have to worry about a thing!! She took care of our marriage license as well and sends you info on steps to change your name etc. We actually just received a thank you card from her for letting us perform our ceremony! She is the sweetest. EVERYONE who came to our ceremony said they absolutely loved it and how beautiful it was. I recommend Celia times a thousand.

Celia put together a ceremony for us unlike anything our guests have ever seen and they could not stop raving about it! All we heard all evening was how unique, personal and beautiful our ceremony was. So many of our guests came up to us and said "It was like she knew actually knew you!" and "How did you find her??" Celia worked with us to create exactly what we wanted and put in so much effort into finding a balance between a traditional ceremony that our families were used to and the more non-traditional personalized ceremony we were hoping for. She was accommodating, helpful and considerate, always making sure we were happy and comfortable with the words she wrote. Overall, our ceremony was perfect and we would highly recommend Celia to anyone looking for that personal touch to their ceremony.

Celia is the best!! Our guests told us, over and over again, that this was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. We (and they) loved how personal it was, how it told the story of us as individuals and of us as a couple, and the little dashes of humor. Her enthusiasm about weddings is truly infectious. I still can’t believe how well Celia got to know us in such a short period of time, and it showed in the readings she found, the wordings she chose, and the traditions she suggested. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with her!

When I first spoke to Celia over the phone it was such a fun conversation that I knew we wanted to have her as our officiant. Unfortunately she had a wedding earlier that day and couldn't guarantee she would be at our place on time, which quite frankly I appreciated the honesty. Instead we worked with Cari [one of her associates] and boy was that a great thing too!

Cari provided fun readings that 100% spoke to me and my husband [we're the type of people who like to laugh] and she nailed it on the spot! Even now I have people asking me about one poem she read because it was hilarious. And I think it helps that people LOVED her voice [they asked me if they could have recordings so they can listen to her speak]. I fully believe officiants make the wedding, after all they are marrying you, but when your guests start to tell you on a consistent basis on how awesome she is.....that truly speaks volume to me!

Besides the ceremony itself both her and Celia were fantastic to work with- so on point and ready to answer me within minutes! I loved their suggestions and willingness to add/remove anything we did or didn't want and made our lives so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend them because you will never regret their high energy!
