Fantastic DJ!
Chad was amazing. He communicated well the entire time we were in the planning process and didn't miss a beat on our big day. His magic mirror photobooth was also a hit and his assistant was kind and very helpful!
We would absolutely hire him again. -

Chad did an amazing job. He kept the crowd going. Answered any questions we had, and played every song we wanted played. We had so much fun thanks to him and his talent. He was very professional yet fun at the same time. I had no worries when it came to the music stuff because he had it all taken care of. He was also very accomodating when it came to our meetings. I will definitely be using them again if I ever need a dj for anything. I will also recommend Celebrity Productions to anyone that is looking for a dj. -

No Worries with Celebrity Productions!
We found Celebrity Productions at a Bridal Show and from start to finish there were no worries working with them! Chad was fantastic the whole way through. Super friendly, funny and professional! The personal web page made it so easy to figure out all of the details and timelines for everything. Our guests loved being able to select music requests ahead of time too! We added the photo booth option too and so glad we did, it was definitely a hit! Chad made everything run smoothly the day of the wedding and there were absolutely no hiccups. He was even able to incorporate a new version of the bride / groom dance song at the last minute! I would highly recommend Celebrity Productions! 5 star service all the way around! -

Best wedding DJ EVER!
Chad was so helpful, professional, and fun to work with. He was always prepared for our meetings, remembered every random detail we threw his way, and accommodated every request we had. I was definitely an over-prepared, micro-manager of a bride, and it's like the website was created with me in mind. There was a space for every detail I wanted to plan out and place for me to add notes when necessary. Our officiant had never done a wedding before, and Chad was so great about meeting with the three of us to go over the ceremony timeline and details. He showed up and helped lead rehearsal, and on the day of the wedding everything was seamless. So many of our guests have asked if he was our wedding planner, because he took the reigns and guided our event exactly where it needed to go. We could not be happier with the level of service, professionalism, and fun Chad at Celebrity Productions brought to our wedding! At the end of the day, our event was so polished. It could not have gone more smoothly. Our friends loved the song request portal, and Chad nailed it with the music he chose for the reception. He kept everyone dancing all night, and he really seemed to pay attention to what the crowd was responding to. We also had a few very specific song requests for both the ceremony as well as the special dances at the reception, and of course, Chad came through on all of them. I can't believe what a great experience this has been. We will absolutely recommend you every chance we get! Five stars! -

Amazing DJ
Chad was amazing! I received so many compliments from my guests that my DJ was the best DJ at any wedding they had attended. Chad coordinated everything after dinner ended so we could just enjoy our night. -

Chad was fantastic as the DJ for our wedding. We cannot think of enough positive things to say. The kids had fun dancing to "Let it Go", especially when Chad got the spotlights on them. Our family and friends all had so much fun. I would highly recommend having Celebrity Productions for your event. -

Chad was amazing to deal with from beginning to end. Our venue was a little challenging because of being outside and of course it rained, but he was on top of everything and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend him for any event!!! -

LOVED having Celebrity Productions at our wedding! They did our Photo Booth and it turned out awesome. Chad was great to work with, very responsive and we met for drinks a month before the wedding to finalize everything and calm my nerves. I never had to follow up or confirm the week of and the whole thing went off without any problems. Will definitely be using Celebrity Productions again for other events! -

Chad is an absolute blast to work with. And so considerate! We actually had a guest break a glass and cut himself on the dance floor, and Chad was able to keep the crowd together during the lengthy cleanup and got the party restarted after. He kept the night on schedule and his crew for the photo booth had our guests engaged and excited. Totally worth every penny!! -

Chad was very organized and kept everything moving without us feeling pressured to do so. I had a huge wedding party and he was able to take control and keep everyone informed on the nights events. We paid extra for a lot of lighting but it was tooooootally worth every penny! The room looked and felt amazing. The dance floor as packed all night! Even people that I don't see normally dancing were dancing! I would recommend Chad and Celebrity Productions to anyone! -

I've been DJing in and around the Midwest since 2001, so when I had to choose a DJ for my own wedding, I was going to choose carefully.
Chad was flexible on meeting with me, and when we did, he really impressed me with the presentation on what he could offer me for my event, from different speaker setups (really important to me!), lighting, and more. Once the event was finished, even after he had to deal with some pretty intense stress put on him from another one of our vendors, he conducted himself with nothing but poise and professionalism.
I've recommended Chad to countless friends and associates for their events and will continue to do so in the future! -

Chad was great! Our Officiant didn't show up until 5 minutes before the ceremony and he took charge. He called her. Not something I expected him to do. But he called her and that meant a lot to us. I would recommend Chad to anyone. He is not afraid to step up and help out, even if he isn't told to. Also, he goes above and beyond. He'll put up an extra light or two if he thinks the dance floor needs more light, without even thinking about charging you extra for it. He's a great guy and deserves all the business he can possibly have.

We did not think hiring a professional DJ was something that was a necessity. However, choosing to use a professional service, over someone who just plays music from a computer was one of the best decisions made for the wedding. From the get go, the DJ listened and understood the needs and wants for our wedding. He provided print-outs which really helped us organize the reception and fully understand the order of the day/night. The day of the wedding, he was punctual and made sure everything was in the right order. He not only provided music, but provided all the entertainment for the whole reception. The service was exceptionally great and would be a recommendation for anyone looking for a DJ they can rely on for an awesome reception. -

Chad from Celebrity Productions was a perfect DJ for our wedding. He had a very comprehensive overview of services that were easy to understand and professionally presented at our first meeting. Chad was also very quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the big day. The day of, Chad was on time, dressed professionally and crafted the greatest party with his ability to follow direction and read a crowd. Everyone said the music was great! We also had Chad set up lights which made the party even more special.

When planning for our wedding we found that we had to give our time line to every vendor possible working for us, no complaints from the vendors. The day of the wedding, as the wedding party was lining up, we were approached by our Master of Ceremony and our DJ, Celebrity Productions, about a time line issue brought up by our caterer, Above and Beyond Catering. Apparently, Above and Beyond Catering staff members did not feel they wanted to stay beyond dinner and the one hour after the completion of dinner before cake was cut and placed on a table for self service. We were told the day of, that we needed to cut the cake immediately before dinner (pushing our dinner time off and then causing us to get charged for being late for dinner) or immediately after dinner, before our first dance or they were going to charge us extra for staying late. Chad, our DJ, with Celebration Cinema had his schedule and services already figured out for us based on the initial schedule. He was gracious enough to go with the flow, rework his schedule to accommodate to the issue with the caterer, Above and Beyond. He met with us before the entrance to make sure there were no complications after we entered the reception, which was more than Above and Beyond, they left it to the Master of Ceremony to relay any information. He did this willingly, on the spot, with no complaint, or extra charges.
Beyond the issue with the time line caused by another vendor, his music was spot on! He had every song imaginable, including the Edmund Fitzgerald song... Just saying... odd song to be at a wedding, but my husband asked for it DURING the reception and he had it. Chad was amazing at making sure the music was going and people were dancing. If he found the floor empty, he adjusted his collection to what the audience wanted. He also was amazing on the mic! Not everyone was meant to be behind a microphone, but it came effortless and sounded amazing! -

Chad was very professional and provided an excellent service. He made our event extra special with the up lighting. He captured very special moments on camera at the reception that our photographer missed and gave me the pics at no additional costs. He ran the night smoothly and kept my guest entertained. I received several compliments about our DJ after the wedding from our guests. He would recommend celebrity productions to any bride!!! -

My husband and I are the very definition of procrastinators... We hired Chad and Kayla at a very late date (about 2 weeks before our reception...) and did not give them much to work with. They were very patient with us and incredibly helpful, and practically organized our reception for us (we had no wedding planner and very soon realized that we had no idea what we were doing!)
The only thing I would have changed (which is OUR fault, not theirs) is that I would have liked more slow songs, so that our older guests and the dance-floor shy guests would have gotten out to dance more. That was a post-reception realization.
They definitely classed up our venue with their lighting, and kept the flow and energy going throughout the night.
My father was delayed to the reception because of business (We did our reception almost a year after our wedding ceremony... We're procrastinators if you'll recall) and was late for our planned father/daughter dance, Chad was very flexible and was able to keep things going despite my panic that the night was going to be ruined.
My advice to anyone interested in hiring Chad with Celebrity Productions is simply to communicate... For us, we made it clear that we had no idea what we were doing, and they saved us! If you have a specific plan, make sure you let them know exactly what it is.

Celebrity Productions did an absolutely amazing job in helping make our wedding day amazing. They were there making sure I was happy and everything was going smoothly, even if it meant just going to get me something to drink! My husband is a bit shy and was nervous about the garter removal, Chad did an amazing job of helping him come out of the box and made for a memorable moment. They went above and beyond anything I expected and did his job, made the wedding a blast and had the dance floor going all the way until 1 am when it ended. HIGHLY recommended! -

We were very happy with celebrity productions services for our wedding. We were very impressed how smoothly things were ran with little guidance. Chad was very professional and entertaining for the guests. He was beyond flexible with setting up last minute for a outdoor ceremony with high chance of rain. He was very friendly and helpful. He was very patient with all the kids at the reception with their multiple song request and them wanting to put his headphones on. He never seemed stressed or bothered. We highly recommend his service. He definitely helped contribute to making a memorable wedding ceremony and reception. We got to have Eric as our DJ for our wedding and he was amazing! Played every type of style of music we asked for. If there was a styles we said no too and people asked for it he asked for my approval or not approval before playing it! I contacted celebrity productions because of the already great reviews I read from various sites. We were lucky enough to have Chad as our DJ. Chad definitely did NOT disappoint! He was incredibly flexible, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. I feel it is pretty rare in this day and age for someone to go out of their way to make sure the wedding day runs flawlessly, and Chad showed this several times throughout our time working with him, including the wedding day. He kept so many people on the dance floor, and people are still telling me how much fun they had, 2 months later! You can tell he really loves his job, and we're so lucky to have had him. Chad is great to work with. He's got years of experience so we picked his brain about reception ideas and timeline. He's a true professional and knows his stuff. Tons of music, lighting and effect choices. Really works with what you want and reads the crowd to keep the party going!
Great MC. Kept our reception moving along so people stayed entertained and having fun. We left the lighting up to him and it looked great.

Wasn't impressed with the way this DJ conducted the tossing of the bouquet and garter. We were hoping to just keep this part of the reception very traditional, but instead ended up being embarrassed by him. I would recommend this DJ to others but warn them to talk to him about every single detail of the ceremony beforehand. Also, he mispronounced four or five names when introducing our Wedding Party, even though we had gone over each name with him in advance. -

Chad was great!
He touched base with us to make sure we were ready for our next set of dances, and kept us in the loop when anything went wrong or needed to be changed.
I was extremely happy with him.

Great DJ, needs improvement with new photo booth
The DJ part of Celebrity Productions' service was awesome. Chad was great to work with and was happy to accommodate all of our ideas. The music was great, and Chad did a great job being Master of Ceremonies. He worked with us throughout the process quickly, efficiently, and with a smile on his face.
The photo booth was a little bit too far away from the backdrop so the photos were a little small, but we loved the props they brought, and the scrapbook we got to keep of everyone's photos. The camera for the photo booth was new so I'm sure they weren't as familiar with the set up requirements. -

Chad was very confident during our meetings and we were excited to have him be our DJ and have his photo booth at our wedding...unfortunately, this quickly changed. We ended up VERY DISAPPOINTED!
CONS
1. Chad stated that he was going to attend our rehearsal and help us get the timing right for everyone walking the aisle...he did not show up and did not communicate with us that he would not be here. He never addressed this with us.
2. The music for the ceremony was messed up with people walking down the aisle to the wrong song. Also, music started playing briefly in the middle of the ceremony (that's not supposed to happen!)
3. While the guests were finding their seats and I was taking photos the Father/Daughter dance song was playing...this should not have played at this time!!
4. While having dinner, when people clinked their glasses to have us kiss, Chad stated that he would find out who started the clinking and ask them to share a story about the bride and groom. We were so excited about this fun idea....he NEVER did this, not once!
5. After spending hours choosing music for the reception, barely any of the songs on our "Must Play" list were played and one song from our "Do Not Play" list was played.
6. Chad was suppose to dedicate a song to my mom. He said he would call her out onto the dance floor before he played it. He did not do this; he played the song, but never dedicated it to her.
7. It was never announced that the photo booth was our guest book...sad we barely had anyone sign it :(
8. We had an entire list of requested songs by guests...barely any of those were played. It seemed as though he just played whatever songs he already had.
PROS
1. He got the timing of songs right...example- the time during a song when I wanted other fathers/daughters to join the dance floor with me and my dad.
2. The lighting was good...I liked the uplights that were added to the room.
3. The photo booth was unique, an "open air" one with good props. -

Wasted Time
Part of the reason we selected this vendor was his online playlist creator. My husband, parents, and I spent a significant amount of time collecting songs, ensuring a blend of genres and eras, and filling our reception timeslot. Unfortunately, we heard 2 - 3 songs off our playlist (and even a song from our Do Not Play list). The songs that were played were not conducive to dancing and didn't appeal to our audience at all.
We also requested that the DJ kept it short and sweet on the microphone. Instead, he took multiple opportunities to make jokes and conversation.
Music was one of the most important pieces of our day (this is why we spent so much time on the playlist) and truly felt Celebrity Productions missed the mark. -

We went with Celebrity Productions based on an online review we saw. We were pleased with the price, and during the wedding expo he seemed very professional. Unfortunately, this was not the case. He played music for the young crowd, and our middle-age and older guests commented later that they never got to dance. He was not a dynamic MC, and did not direct the crowd the way an MC should.
Prior to the wedding, we gave Chad a detailed list of announcements to make. It seemed like he never looked at them again until he was in front of our guests. He mispronounced names and got the relationship(s) to the bride and groom confused. He was out on the dance floor moving equipment in front of our guests. We were embarrassed by his lack of experience.
