Second Successful Event with Celebrations
This was the second time we worked with Celebrations, and once again we are extremely satisfied with the excellent service provided. The event ran smoothly from start to finish, with no hiccups, reflecting the high level of preparation and coordination.
Marilse’s follow-up on emails and calls was outstanding—not only with us, but also with the various suppliers involved. She is very organized and handles everything in a timely and efficient manner. Her experience clearly shows in the way she anticipates details and knows exactly what to take into consideration to ensure a successful event.
She has an extensive network of suppliers and is also open to working with new ones, always aiming for the best possible outcome. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the entire process, and the event was professionally closed off with an evaluation meeting.
We highly recommend Celebrations to anyone looking for a reliable, organized, and experienced event planner, and we will certainly consider working with them again for future events. -

I honestly don’t have enough words to thank Marilse from Celebrations for the incredible work they did for my birthday event. From the very beginning, I felt as if Marilse was my right hand not only professionally, but with heart and soul.
She took the time to plan meetings, understand my vision, follow up on every detail, and stay fully informed about all my ideas from décor and music to entertainment and the overall experience. She guided me with honest advice, structure, and clarity. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her.

On the day of my celebration, she and her team ensured everything flowed perfectly according to the tight schedule. We hired Marilse and here team last year and it has been one of the best decisions ever made.
Thinking about planning a wedding made my blood pressure rise, let alone plan one abroad. But Marilse proved the opposite.
From the first consultation to our wedding day and final goodbyes, we always felt the warmth and enthusiasm Marilse worked with.
Marilse tried to find out who we were and what we wanted as a couple, but we always felt like she had also eyes and ears for us as individuals.
Even though we lived far apart, we always felt like Marilse was there to help, inform and assist. No question was too much to ask. Because of her very professional, punctual, respectful, but funny and warm way of working, we felt very familiar and at peace with her planning our special day.
When her team showed up at the wedding day, this was no different.
We can't wait to come to this beautiful island again for a renewal or any other kind of celebration with the help of Celebrations!
Tomorrow is our one year anniversary and we're very grateful to have this special memory to hold on to. We're still in awe about it.

Het was een genoegen om met Celebrations samen te werken. Wij zijn Marilse (plus team) zo dankbaar voor onze mooie dag. Wij hebben er een jaar naar uitgeleefd. Eenmaal op het eiland aangekomen Marilse persoonlijk ontmoet ze is lekker concreet, duidelijk, aardig en behulpzaam wat een heerlijk mens om samen mee te werken. Al onze wensen heeft Celebractions zien te vervullen met dank aan de verschillende vendors die daar deel uitmaakten. Het was nog even spannend met het weer, maar.. zelfs dat liet ons niet in de steek! Al bij al hebben wij een super dag gehad met zon, aan het strand & afsluitend in de Royal plaza tuin. Planning a destination wedding during COVID was not without its challenges. Even after postponing once, and having our reception canceled by our venue, Marilse stuck with us for much longer than she signed up to! The day of our wedding, her and her team were INCREDIBLE! They had eyes on us (and everyone else) at all times. If we needed something, she was there. If there was a guest blocking our photographer’s shot, she moved them. I have no idea if anything went wrong on our wedding day, but I do know that if it did, I had no clue! The Celebrations! The best decision my husband and I made when planning our Curacao destination wedding, was hiring Celebrations! Mary and her team are absolutely amazing. Mary handled all the details for our destination wedding, including the activities leading up to it (welcome reception, rehearsal dinner, etc.). Mary helped us with securing ground transportation, coordinating multiple vendors, sourcing venues, securing a room block for guests, and SO MUCH MORE - Mary was truly there for us every step of the way. Prior to our wedding, we'd never been to Curacao and we fully trusted that her team would deliver an amazing experience - they exceeded our expectations! We are so Thankful and grateful for the services of Celebrations.
Without Celebration it wasn't possible to plan such a big wedding in less then 2 months. Their good communication with the vendors made this possible and also what was the most important for us, is that because of that we could had a smooth and stress less wedding planning. The guidance of Celebrations on the wedding day was also awesome, we could celebrate that day, knowing that there are responsible people managing the ceremony and the reception party.

Great job!
We are so glad we chose Celebrations as our wedding day coordinator. For our wedding we knew exactly what we wanted starting from location, decoration, entertainment etc. However, there were different details that we did not consider. Our first meeting with Marilse was
therefore an eye opener we realized how many stuff had to be done. We could immediately see her knowledge and experience in this area.
I was very controlling and wanted to be in charge of everything for the wedding. Having Celebrations coordinate our wedding day made me finally step back and enjoy the day. They made sure that everything went as planned. Celebrations did an awesome job coordinating our special day. This gave us and as well our parents the opportunity to enjoy each second of the wedding. We are so grateful!

During my first meeting with Marilse, she asked me what I expected from Celebrations and I told her that I would like to be “stress-free" from start to finish.
As a couple, our expectations were completely fulfilled. The coordination of our events was flawless and "stress- free", everything ran smoothly.
The team did an excellent job making sure that we were eating and drinking throughout the night and even brought food to our room at the end of the night. It's no wonder they are #1 in Curacao.

And not just A wedding planner, but the BEST. So I contacted Celebrations. Very short thereafter I had a meeting with Marilse, and I knew right from the beginning that she was a perfect fit for this job. We had the partial wedding planning package, so that I could still be my controlling self during this process, but with the guidance and help of Marilse. Our monthly consultations via Skype were very productive, but also fun and light. She gave us very good advice and helped us plan the wedding of our dreams. The day of our wedding went so smoothly and even if there were things we didn’t see coming, Marilse and her team handled everything accordingly. We are going to miss our monthly consultations with her, but wish her the very best with her career and hopefully we will work with her down the road for other events. She always had great advice and you could see they were highly experienced in this business. On the wedding day we felt taken care of; Marilse and her team always had a smile on. They always remembered the important things and reminded us on what to do in case we forgot (which we needed sometimes!). They kept contact with all of the vendors and made sure every one of them delivered on time. They always have a back-up plan in case something does not go according to plan and you won't even know until the evaluation meeting after.
We are very happy we chose Celebrations!. On that day we didn't have to worry about the little details, we could just enjoy and celebrate the important moments.

We where a great team together. Thank you for all your advices and suggestions. You and your team made my 50th birthday celebertion a day to remember. The day of the big dinner and party I had no care. I woke up, drop some drinks at the location and then went for a walk with a few of my guest in the park Den Dunki and afterwards a bit of sightseeing and snorkel at the tugboat. No worry at all I knew the setup and the rest was in good hands. I arrived at five with my dinner guest and it was like entering a moovie set. Everything as expected and so beautiful. The coordination during the party was in one word excellent. Afterwards I heard that a few things did not go as expected but Marilse made sure to solve the problems and that we wheren't bothered at anytime. My trust in Marilse and her team was big.
