    They saw it through

    When we found out the market lights set up the previous day weren’t working, CE sent out someone immediately to make sure everything was great for our backyard wedding. Great to work with and responsive. Well priced as well.

    Very responsive and professional

    I only needed to rent 100 glasses for a wine tasting but was treated like I was planning a presidential wedding. The process was so simple. I requested a quote online and Kristen called me to go over it to make sure it was what I needed. The instructions for pick-up were very clear. I asked if I could return the glasses 1 day later since I was off that day. They accommodated my request without any extra fees. Will definitely use again.

    Jennifer was super helpful and responsive anytime I had questions or changes to my order. I was still changing my order two days before the wedding and she was still patient!! I loved my farm tables and chairs. They were a little pricey (not the company but farm tables in general) but they were perfect for our reception at The Unknown Brewery. I don't regret spending the extra money because they looked perfect!!

    Classic Party Rentals has the best linen and rental equipment in Charlotte with the most professional service. I worked with Donna for a few years on countless events and she was there for me on my special day! She and her team at Classic are a joy to work it. They are always on time with nicely pressed linen and clean equipment. This is the only rental company I prefer to use!

    Jane at Classic Party Rentals is great to work with. She totally took care of everything with my venue from delivery to setup to breakdown. Everything was beautiful and I would definintely use CPR in the future!

    Oh my goodness! Classic Party Rentals was wonderful to work with from initial consultation to pick up! They have a fabulous collection of china, linens and chairs! The staff is great and very professional.

    very easy to work with and provided excellent service and wonderful products. They supplied the chivari chairs for our wedding and everything worked out perfectly.

    I love working with Classic Party Rentals! I always recieve an immediate & professional response when working with them. The rentals are easily delivered and picked up, and the quality & variety of product is perfect for my needs. I recommend them to any venue looking for rentals.

    I was able to find everything I needed for my event at Classic Party Rentals. They were very flexible with delivery times and locations. They also gave me a discount on chiavaris to match the price of a competitor in addition to a 15% courtesy discount on all my other rentals because my wedding was in an off-peak month. The representative that I dealt with was often difficult to get in touch with and did not confirm when she received faxes with credit card numbers, etc. Overall, I was happy with their selection and flexibility.

    We were recommended to them from our caterer. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. The lady there helped us find exactly what I wanted. She even laid linens out for me to see in an actual table as if it were set up. Which greatly helped me envision what it would look like. She did tell us beforehand the colors I chose were a little difficult to get as they were spread out between all their locations. She did her best to get everything we needed, we were short napkins for one table in the end. Which wasn't a big deal since the carter had some of her own. The linens were beautiful and exactly what I wanted!

    Overall, we were satisfied with the product and service from Classic Party Rentals. I worked directly with Amanda Hollingsworth who was very helpful and pleasant. We never had any issues with any customer service or direct communication. Amanda was very direct, thorough, and punctual in getting us the information we needed when we needed it. The cost/value was reasonable and the quality of the product was good. There were a few setbacks in the set-up process that really set us back on time. The truck was several hours late (and we understand, things happen, but it was a mistake that could have been avoided) and some of the items were rather beat up, but nothing really noticeable. It was an added stress that day which we could have done without but, other than that, we were pleased.

    I went with Classic Party Rentals because I was told from my catering director that they are probably one of the cheaper rental places (All we needed was ceremony chairs and a dance floor from them). Well they were cheaper and everything but I found that they quickly tried to rip you off to get more money out of you in ways that didn't even make sense.

    First time we were told my our venue(which was a country club) that they had a father's day brunch in the morning therefore the dance floor needed to be out the night of the wedding. They wanted to charge us $250 for that. Then the country club wanted us to ask them if they can bring our rentals friday morning before our rehearsal so that we can practice. They wanted to charge us an extra $100 to bring it on friday but said they can do it Thursday for no charge....doesn't make sense at all. My catering director had to call them to get these ridiculous charges dropped from our account, since she told us they will try and do that sometimes.

    My wedding was on a Sunday and we got dividers from Classic Party Rentals. With everything that was done the two days before the wedding, this was forgotten and not picked up at 2pm on the Friday before the wedding. Thankfully, we remembered Friday evening and were able to pick it up but were frustrated that we did not receive a phone call or reminder that we did not pick up what we paid for. At the end of the day, we were able to pick up the dividers.

    Disappointed Overall

    We used CE Rental for our reception chairs, linens, flatware, lounge furniture, and bar. We selected them because they offered a lower quote than Party Reflections, and they price-matched, which was great. But overall, we were disappointed.

    Jennifer was our point of contact, and she was very friendly, but not always very responsive, and it often took several conversations to accurately make all the requested updates for our order and to clarify with her any differences between what we requested and what they were able to offer.
    To be fair, we asked a lot of questions, but I don't think anything we asked or requested was overly complicated, and so it left us feeling frustrated and disappointed throughout the process. There were also a few miscommunications that made the overall experience less than satisfactory. On top of that, the furniture we rented from CE was sub-rented from someone else, which led to higher costs and communication issues about which items we actually ordered versus received. For a rental and design-focused company, they had an extremely limited selection of lighting and furniture.

    I would recommend CE if your order will be only linens and diningware. But if you need lighting and/or furniture, it might not be worth your time to use CE.

    Honestly, the only thing I can say about this company is that we got the tent we asked for. The original rep, Michelle, was FANTASTIC. She worked with me beautifully to make the right choice for the size of our space and ensure we had everything we might need. She left the company about 3 months before our wedding, and her replacement is ATROCIOUS. She's rude, non-responsive downright unhelpful. I will say they allowed us to change our order multiple times, as the venue changed the size of the space and to account for the weather- but they didn't make it easy to do. It's not really much of a value, as far as I could tell. You can get a tent for about the same price at a number of other vendors- and if I did it over again, I would absolutely go elsewhere.

    We reserved a tent in case of rain. We had to make a decision a few days before our wedding. According to the weather info, we didn't need one so we decided against the tent. However, the day before our wedding the weather changed. When Classic Rentals was contacted about still using the tent, they said it was still available! Great! However, they didn't have anyone to set it up?! I don't know how that is even possible. Even if you have other tents to set up on that day or weekend, there's time that can be found somewhere within a 2 day period to assist a paying customer! So we had our reception outside in the rain, without a tent.
