  Great experience!

  We just got married so we haven't seen the film yet - but for the day of the actual wedding Sam was amazing! He was kind, calm, low key, and blended in with the wedding. He made my friends/family feel comfortable, and he was a positive energy to have around. I'm sure the final product will be amazing and can update my review then - but picking a vendor that you like and will mesh with your guests easily is huge! Would 10/10 hire CDA films again!

  Sam was professional, courteous with the turnaround on our wedding footage, and delivered a beautiful video that really captured our wedding in a heartfelt way. 5 stars!

  Sam was extremely professional! He is great to work with and has a great eye. Very patient with all of the chaos and video came out amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better videographer! I highly recommend him for your wedding!

  Sam Balas was phenomenal!

  After a videographer we knew bailed on performing our wedding and our budget had been compromised around that, we were looking for very specific budget and vibe to our video. We looked and looked and couldn't find what we were wanting. I spoke with Sam on the phone and was instantly pleased. I had no idea how to put into words what I was wanting out of a video, but he understood and took time to watch other wedding videos I enjoyed to take the same feel and make it our own. Sam was flexible, professional, yet SUPER personal and relatable. We felt so at ease on the day of our wedding! We couldn't have been happier to have chosen Sam and CDA Films. Our final products were amazing and we'll enjoy sharing and watching it for the rest of our lives! Thank you!

  Humble, Kind, Creative, Memorable - CDA Films is Great!

  I came across CDA films on the Knot, searching for videographers for my wedding. I reached out to Sam and he quickly replied requesting to speak on the phone. I really appreciated this as I live in San Diego (married in the Bay Area) and Sam (CDA Films) was in San Francisco. It was so nice speaking to him on the phone, listening to his authenticity and genuine appreciation for the field he works in and excitement to film our wedding. Long story short, we booked with CDA Films and come our wedding day, Sam walked into my bridal suite (I had never met him before) and I was caught off guard by how sweet and humble he was. He jumped right in (we booked a 1 shooter 10 hour session) to filming myself and bridesmaids and my husband with his groomsmen getting ready, then on to the remainder of the day.
  
  I was very impressed with his coordination with my other vendors (coordinator and photographer) and arriving on time at a hard to find venue (Thomas Fogarty Winery) he had never been to. He arrived promptly on time and was ready to go. He worked well with the photographer, politely asking if he could get a shot here and there. I had no expectations of what a videographer would bring to my wedding day, but I was BLOWN away. If you are on the fence I HIGHLY recommend booking CDA films. He is professional, respectful, professional and understands all the meaningful and important moments to capture. The best part is Sam is not pretentious, and he shoots your wedding personally, almost as if it was his own. He doesn't have boxes to check, he films what comes naturally. We love watching our wedding over and over thanks to CDA Films.

  Amazing videographer

  Sam did such a wonderful job on our wedding videography!! Videography wasn’t something we thought of until a week before our wedding, and luckily enough we were able to higher him very last minute and man are we glad we did! He captured the most precious and memorable parts of our big day and now we always have the ability to go back and relive that through the highlight video and by watching our ceremony video! He was very professional and honestly we never even realized he was there; he’s so good at being a fly on a wall and capturing the best footage without disrupting a thing. We would gladly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a wedding videographer!!!

  Took Great Video of Our Wedding!

  Sam was easy to work with and was happy to work with our budget to make sure we were able to get good quality video for a good rate. He worked incredibly well with our photographer and did job of balancing providing direction and standing back to let things unfold. Really happy to have had him capture video for our wedding.

  Good service, good price!

  CDA Films worked hard to film our wedding and after the event, they kept in communication with us as they edited the associated wedding videos. They took feedback when we were not satisfied with certain aspects of the videos, and they reworked the videos appropriately.
