Darren and Claudia, Cavo Entertainment, absolutely made our wedding day special. Even before the actual wedding day, their responsiveness, professionalism, and service are completely unmatched! Some of my new family members on my wife's side only speak Spanish, and Claudia was able to translate announcements and other key details so everyone knew what was going on. Also, get the photo booth; it was a huge hit! The day of, the Cavo team arrived on site early, dressed to kill and ready to work. I really appreciated their flexibility as they had already finished setting up equipment in one area and were able to adjust on the fly because of weather. They are also great at coordinating with other vendors and keeping the team and timeline on track, but adaptable to adjust it on the fly as well. Their equipment is professional, the lighting was great, and Darren really does a great job reading a crowd/vibe and keeping everyone engaged and having a good time. I absolutely give Cavo my entertainment my highest recommendation. Thanks Darren and Claudia for making our wedding day one to remember!

They were fantastic!

Darren and Claudia were the BEST to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone! From our initial inquiry, they were communicative, thorough, and detailed. We loved that they sent us a workbook to help guide us through everything we might need to consider - there were so many things that we hadn't even thought about! They helped us create a detailed timeline, and when our wedding day came, they executed that timeline seamlessly! They took our preferences into account, but we let them run the show and they were so fun and very professional! We also rented the selfie station from them and that was the highlight of the night for many of our guests. I loved that they were able to send themselves their pictures/videos/boomerangs right away, but my husband and I also received a link to everything from the photo booth and we spent the next morning crying and laughing over all the pictures and videos. Our guests raved about their experience from pre-ceremony through the end of the reception. We could not have had such an epic night without Cavo Entertainment. Do not hesitate to hire them for your event, you will not regret it!

Darren & Claudia are fantastic 🤍

Darren & Claudia are fantastic! They provided excellent music and lighting for our wedding, and they were also such great hosts. From the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception and up to the dancing portion of the party, the music was such a hit. Our guests had so much fun. They went above and beyond with us and made our father-daughter special by providing the mashup music for our surprise choreographed dance between my dad & me! We had the BEST NIGHT of our lives! Soo Much Fun!!!

What a terrific experience for my daughters wedding! Everything was planned and timed so well! The Photo Booth was a show stealer! Such fun hats and crazy accessories! Excellent Christmas Party!

CAVO Entertainment provided their services for our organization’s Christmas party. They were the epitome of professionalism, kindness, and fun. They planned activities appropriate for all ages that kept the group engaged and having fun. The Photo Booth was a wonderful touch for families that everyone took advantage of. Their event was the perfect balance of time to mingle with colleagues and friends as well as organized games. We can’t express how much we appreciate CAVO Entertainment’s efforts to make this year’s gathering a success!!

Booked Cavo for an intimate wedding based on the recommendation of our wedding planner. Overall the entire experience was top notch. From Darren and Claudia’s professional appearance when we first met them at the venue we knew they brought their A game. Darren really kept the crowd engaged and had some really creative ideas that he would slip up and ask if we were ok with and it really made for an enjoyable night. We had dancers from toddlers to teenagers to seniors and everyone was up and dancing throughout the night. We really appreciated the attention to detail to keep the kiddos happy all night long. If you are considering using Cavo, go ahead and pull the trigger

Darren & Claudia are the best!!!!

Darren & Claudia were amazing and extremely helpful leading up to the wedding & on the wedding day. They helped us feel more prepared for the big day and were quick with communication. We also needed a bilingual DJ and they played music that pleased both families. I would recommend them to anyone!

The best and most thorough!

Darren and Claudia helped make our day one to never forget and helped it run so smoothly. Claudia made the photo booth so user friendly and Darren’s announcements helped everyone know what to do and when to do it. They implemented everything talked about in our meetings down to the smallest detail, not to mention help us organize everything in a workbook which was then turned into a very detailed timeline. He also paid attention to when the crowd wasn’t feeling certain songs and adjusted as needed very quickly to keep everyone’s energy up. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Smooth ceremony, great party!

Darren and Claudia were fantastic as our DJ/emcee! They helped us plan our timeline for the entire wedding day; they mailed me their workbook which provided suggestions for games and songs for any event. We were planning in a different time zone and they were very accommodating with our schedule. During the ceremony, the transitions between songs were seamless, and during the reception, they kept the mood going for whatever was needed at the time. Would highly recommend them for your wedding!

Claudia and Darren are the best!

Claudia and Darren are absolutely the best. They were the only DJ's we interviewed for our big day because they blew us away during our first meeting and we knew they were the best pick for us. They are so well organized and they know their stuff. They are not only DJ's but built in planners. They helped us create a timeline of the entire day to make sure everything went perfect!

Book Cavo Entertainment!

Cavo Entertainment provided sound support and lighting for our live music event at Roaring River Distillery in March. The live music sounded fantastic, the musicians were happy and the lighting made the venue look spectacular. The event was packed and the crowd had a great time. Cavo Entertainment made our event a huge success!

By far, the best out there!!

Claudia and Darren provided a level of service and FUN far beyond anyone else we were considering for our wedding reception. Ahead of our big day, they took the time to physically mail us an expansive guide to help us figure out our plans for the flow and music of our special day. They were absolutely lovely to work with through out the planning process and day-of the party, we had an incredible time. I, as the bride, don't think I stopped dancing for one minute. The music was amazing. And Claudia even grabbed one of our disposable cameras to make sure we had plenty of amazing pics of the dancing guests. I highly recommend them for celebration — they are, by far, the best!

Absolutely amazing in every way.

I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding for myself and Cavo made it happen. They thought of everything and had answers to questions that I didn't even know I had. Amazing DJ

Darren and Claudia were awesome to work with! They were very easy to work with and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. During the wedding, Darren was AMAZING! He had the party going and EVERYONE dancing the entire night. He is a professional DJ/emcee and is great at what he does! He kept the day flowing making sure we stayed on time and nothing was missed.Â

Another thing, they also provided the photo booth which everyone loved! Claudia ran the photo booth, and she made sure every guest in the picture received a print! Our guests had a blast!
We were so grateful Cavo Entertainment was part of our amazing wedding day! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Best Day Ever

Darren and Claudia from Cavo Entertainment did a fantastic job at our wedding, and I would, hands down, recommend them to any couple looking for a DJ. Darren and Claudia were super organized. From the moment we first contacted them, we knew they were different from other DJs we interviewed. My husband and I felt so completely at ease that we knew right away we had to hire them to be our entertainment team. They were always available to answer any questions we had. They talked us through the whole planning process and provided us with a super detailed timeline for our special day. From the beginning of our ceremony right up to the end of our reception, they took the pressure of us looking at our watch to keep all the special moments in place. We had tons of positive feedback from our guests. Everyone had a great time dancing. We received several videos from our guests of everyone at one time or another dancing on the dance floor and having a great time. Darren and Claudia's experience with weddings made us a very happy couple on our wedding day. Thank you Cavo Entertainment!

Professional service

Claudia and Darren from Cavo Entertainment provided music, lighting, Emcee and Photo Booth services for a recent event at our venue, Waterloo Venue and Events, LLC. They arrived with more than enough time to set-up and were professional from start to finish. The Cavo Entertainment team created a spectacular atmosphere and the guests raved about the uplighting. Darren (DJ) did a great job Emceeing throughout the evening and kept the event flowing smoothly. And, of course, the music was great! Cavo Entertainment also provided photo booth services which was a huge hit at the party. The guests didn't need to share photo prints because Claudia made duplicates for everyone in the photo! I would highly recommend using Cavo Entertainment for your upcoming wedding or special event.

Best DJ around!

My experience with Cavo Entertainment has been fabulous over the last 8 years. They are highly professional, attentive to detail, and able to read a room to play the music that has everyone out on the dance floor dancing! Cavo Entertainment is awesome!!!

Darren and Claudia at Cavo Entertainment really made our Anniversary party one of the most memorable days of our lives. Darren helped with our planning and then he was the MC that kept us on schedule so that we had plenty of time for dancing and fun. He worked really well with our photographer and the venue so that we were able just to enjoy the night. As a DJ, Darren really read the crowd and was able to play everyone’s favorite music at the right time. He kept the crowd moving and enjoying their time. Claudia ran the photo booth and everyone had so much fun there. People were laughing and giggling over there all evening as they modeled props and viewed the final pictures. Our friends agree with us that this was one of their favorite parties because of this Dynamic Duo! We recommend them to everyone!!!

Absolutely Amazing DJ

Darren and Lisa were the absolute best dj's you can hire. They did an amazing job, were always on helpful and very responsive. We interviewed 5 or 6 different vendors and we chose them hands down because of the quality of their work and how involved they were in the process to make our time as easy as possible. We also used them for the photo both and that was one of the best decisions as well.

Wonderful Wedding DJ!

This company operated under the name Temporary Tempo when they DJed our wedding. They were quick to respond, and I loved that they had an online quote where you could input what you wanted and see approximately how much it would cost before having to speak to anyone. This made shopping around easy! They were willing to meet up at a place convenient for us, and gave us a workbook that really helped guide us through planning our wedding and choose songs for each componentof our day (something we were able to keep whether you used them or not). They were very professional and knowable, and had a lot of good ideas to make your special day unique to you. During our wedding, there were no awkward pauses between songs or announcements and everything flowed perfectly! (Something I recently experienced at a friend's wedding, which really made me appreciate this DJ!) Lastly, I was really impressed when I told them I wanted to do the shoe game, and realized that I had never gave him any questions to use. However, on the day of, he was ready with great questions for the game and it was one of the highlights of the night! We also booked they're photobooth which was easy to personalize and had a TON of templates to choose from as well as a TON of propsto use. Great DJ and photobooth duo. I would definitely recommend them!

The BEST Wedding DJ!

Darren and Claudia are the best mobile entertainment group! We used them for their DJ and photo booth services. Their organization and professionalism from the introduction meeting, all the way through to our last song of the evening, is best in class. We loved the workbook that they shared with us, that was the guide to all of our music and entertainment needs throughout the entire day/night of our wedding. They have an infinite amount of photo booth templates and their quick turnaround of mockups is key during planning a wedding!

We highly recommend them for ANY event!

Amazing Job!

In November of 2018, we hosted a wedding at a local historical site. From the beginning of the encounter with Darren and Claudia there were able to provide several full and complete wedding ideas. Without their assistance, being able to plan the wedding would have been much more difficult.

During the months leading up to the event, communication was free flowing and there was never a doubt in my mind about the service being provided. Upon the wedding day, Darren and Claudia showed up and essentially kept our wedding running efficiently and on course. Not to mention, his choice of songs and ability to illuminate some of the property.

I know without Darren and Claudia, our wedding, our first dance and overall experience would have not have been perfect. I can not say enough about Temporary Tempo and hope that they continue to bring the same joy as they did to us.

There is no doubt that Temporary Tempo is a 5 star DJ. At our very first meeting with Darren and Claudia we could tell right away that our wedding was their first priority and they were going to do all that they could to make sure it was our perfect day. Darren and Claudia were so organized which made the whole wedding experience a breeze and everything we dreamed of. At the wedding Claudia helped organize the wedding party and kept everyone on track and Darren made it so that both me and my husband could just enjoy the party with no worries. With their years of wedding experience they organized the whole wedding timeline and gave the best tips to have a great wedding. Darren and Claudia handled our DJ and Photobooth services, respectfully, on our wedding on July 21, 2018. We could not have been more impressed! After we booked our venue at Abbott Manor, they were the next vendors we booked. We were instantly impressed with their level of professionalism and attention to detail that we did not see from our other contacts with local DJs. After booking with them, we were given a detailed plan leading up to our big day. I especially appreciated the in-person meeting the month prior, as it alleviated a lot of questions that I thought of as it approached. I would recommend them both for all of your DJ and Photobooth needs!

DJ Darren was the ultimate MVP at our wedding! He and his Temporary Tempo team did an incredible job. I could not have wished for more as a bride! I would highly recommend Darren and his team as your wedding DJ. He helped us along every step of the way to have our dream wedding. He met up with us a few times to make sure everything was as planned and he went above and beyond to help us in any way possible. The music was fantastic!!! Everyone raved at how great of a job he did. Our officiant was in a car accident on the way to our wedding and he stepped up and even said he could marry my husband and I, so he pretty much saved the day as well!

There are so many AMAZING things I can say about Darren and his Temporary Tempo Team. Darren, Claudia, and Bradley were nothing short of amazing! From the first time we met with Darren and he sent home with a work book, I knew he was going to do everything in his power to be sure our day was flawless! That is exactly what he did! He not only provided music for our big day, he helped organize and execute the timeline for the entire evening! We also used the photo booth which was a huge hit! Claudia and Bradley did an awesome job and our guests loved it! The book they made for us is priceless. Sam and I are forever grateful for Darren and his team! We would highly recommend their services.

There are truly no words to express how AMAZING of a DJ Darren was at our wedding. From the first time we met and received our workbooks (to help organize our vision for the day) to our last dance at our wedding reception, Darren was absolutely reliable, organized, & professional. Our day went exactly how we dreamed of and Darren made it all possible. He not only provided music entertainment, but his organization of the whole night was absolutely amazing. He was a DJ and wedding coordinator all in one! We did not have to worry about a thing! The night could not have gone more smoothly! We also used the photo booth and our guests LOVED it!! So many fun props and awesome layouts to choose from! It was definitely a hit! We give Temporary Tempo five stars in every category possible and highly recommend their services!! :)

Darren was fantastic! He came thru for us in our time of need. We originally had booked another Dj and due to an unfortunate event we were left we no Dj a month before the wedding. We found Darren and he pulled everything together within that month. Music was great and he kept us to our schedule. The lighting he provides was excellent. I highly recommend getting the photo booth, this was a big hit.

Seriously Darren from Temporary Tempo is absolutely amazing! My husband and I hired him for our wedding on July 16, 2016 and never regretted it for even a second! From the first moment he was THE BEST BY FAR! On our very first meeting he provided us with an entire book to fill out which he uses to create a timeline for the day of ensuring from start to finish all goals are met. This timeline also allowed us to tell him what type of music we wanted him to play for every part of the ceremony and reception, he wants to ensure the right music is playing! He went through everything with us, not only is he a DJ but he is an entire wedding coordinating team. He is there for you, he works together with all of your vendors ensuring that your day goes off without a hitch! He promised us that we would never have to worry about a single thing and he was correct, we never worried about anything when it came to his expertise! He is there the day of your rehearsal, he goes through everything with everyone! He acts as the wedding coordinator during that time! He goes through everything, talking about about what music he will play during that certain time, where people need to stand, what cues the wedding party needs to look for! Literally he is the man for the job, you won't regret hiring him as your wedding DJ! During the reception he keeps the timeline right on target allowing you to maximize your entire experience!

Needless to say, Darren is the best and I can promise you he will not disappoint you! If you want the best, you hire Darren from Temporary Tempo!

What can I say? Darren went above and beyond what I was expecting. He met with us a couple of times before the big day. Provided us a workbook to make our song selections for the entire day. He had ideas and songs that made us really stop and think how we wanted to proceed with the special day. He worked well with the wedding coordinators and had built the timeline for our wedding day. He kept everything on schedule. Darren knew how to read the crowd and played music accordingly to keep everyone dancing the night away. In the beginning he was upfront about pricing. He told us, "I'm not the cheapest, but I'm not just going to hit play on an iPod either." Your DJ plays a much more important part than I knew. It wasn't just about the music, it was the whole day and Darren kept it moving appropriately.

I cannot say enough about Darren! Professional, reliable, ORGANIZED!!!!! He kept our wedding running smooth, staying on the timeline and always attentive to my needs as well as my husbands (eek! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Darren. We used Temporary Tempo for our wedding in Palm Desert on 10/24/15 and what drew us immediately was the variety of services offered, Darren's professionalism and the very reasonable cost of his services.

Darren handled sound reinforcement for our opening string trio at our ceremony, as well as the ceremony itself, handled all music for our cocktail hour and reception and did an open air photo booth equipped with prop box with all sorts of fun stuff.

From the get go, Darren was extremely professional and made sure to address our every question and concern. He gave us a workbook that was SO helpful in the planning process and was always so great about checking in and reminding us about deliverables.

Right when we thought Darren couldn't impress us any more than he had, the wedding day came. Darren did an OUTSTANDING job making sure our day flowed well and on time, was great at reading our subtle queues to him when we wanted to change anything up and was so kind to continuously check in on us to make sure we were all good. Our family and friends were also clearly happy as they were either all over the dance floor and/or photo booth.

I highly recommend using Temporary Tempo and would gladly work with Darren again in the future. Thank you for making our wedding day hassle free and so special. :)

Darren was recommended by our officiant and we are thrilled we picked him. He was very thorough in the pre-work and took the time to get to know us. On the day of the ceremony he handled most of coordination of the different aspects of the ceremony and reception allowing us to really enjoy our special day. Darren was the DJ for our wedding and he was PHENOMENAL! Temporary Tempo came highly recommended to us by the venue we selected. My mom inquired about their services and immediately made her own decision that we should hire them; however, I had different ideas as it was a little more than our budget. But she was persistent and INSISTED that we hired them. Reluctantly, we caved....

After hiring them, we were pleasantly surprised about the responsiveness and friendliness of their staff (Alex and Darren are the two we worked with). Darren was the DJ for our day and he was WONDERFUL! We had two weddings (an Indian wedding and an American wedding) all in the same day which made the day a bit hectic in itself, but Darren made it run smoothly and kept our guests entertained! He took the time to meet with us to really understand what we needed in terms of DJ services and meeting the variety of music tastes. We even had some vocalists who he worked with to ensure that sounded great!

Darren Dj'd our wedding from start to finish last weekend. He was amazing!!! From day one he made sure the process went smoothly and was extremely detailed and personal in planning our wedding! Temporary tempo and Darren were so great to work with. They were quick to respond, and just over the top warm, friendly, easy to work with, and professional. Our flip book photo booth was a total hit at our wedding. The books were so cute and personalized and everyone absolutely loved the experience. It was a total game changer and a nice gift and activity for our guests... Not to mention now we have copies of photos that we would have never had otherwise and a silly, exciting and unique addition to our wedding and party. Temporary tempo was also very flexible with meeting our venue's logistical restrictions and valet (load in/out) timelines. I can't say enough great things about Temporary Tempo! We met Darren as a recommendation from our venue and we are so happy we did. Darren gives you a booklet to work through so he does not miss a BEAT at your reception. My wife Jessica and I cannot say enough about DJ Darren and Temporary Tempo. Darren made our wedding flow so smoothly and almost exclusively took wedding day coordination into his own hands. Darren rocked our wedding and was the most prepared and professional person to work with throughout the entire process. His equipment, including the up-lighting, ceremony audio and image projector were top notch and our guests had nothing but compliments. The best compliment that could be paid was from our wedding coordinator at the winery. She told us the next day that the staff working the wedding commented numerous times about how Darren had to be put on the short list for the "venue-suggested" vendors. He kept the ball rolling and the timeline on point and that made everyone's night more relaxing.

Darren is an awesome dj. The first time we met he was very professional and organized he had a packet put together which was very helpful. It included helpful song selections for the different dances and a basic layout of how a wedding could go. He definitely knows how to read a crowd and keeps then on their feet dancing. I hired Darren to DJ my sisters 50th birthday party for 4 hours, he stayed for another 4 hours because we were having so much fun. We had a glow in the dark theme and he was able to bring in all the lighting for it, in addition he had a projector to show a video I made for my sister. He was very professional and I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to my friends.

Darren was simply amazing! He went above and beyond as our d.j. He provided a helpful outline and followed up with us throughout the planning to help us stay on track. Darren, did such a great job at our wedding. The atmosphere was fun and up beat. The guest enjoyed the music being played and Darren works very hard to deliver want you want. Darren integrated our slideshow very well in the reception. Darren was the best DJ I have ever seen in action. He not only was the DJ for our wedding but he was also the coordinator, keeping us on time with everything and making sure everyone was having a good time. He was friendly and available anytime I had a question about music even if the simplest question. Professional yet friendly experience is how I would describe this DJ service.

Darren did a wonderful job at making our wedding day a smooth a successful one. Our guests had a blast thanks to the amazing efforts by Darren. He truly went above and beyond. Darren was a huge hit at our wedding. We received alot of positive feedback from our guests about how much they enjoyed him. He was always on top of our schedule and kept us updated the whole day through. He was great at directing us where to go and when so that I did not have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding. He was even able to get most all of our family and friends up on the dance floor, and even offered to read the best-man speech for my shy brother-in-law. He helped to make the day great and to make and exceed all of my musical expectations.
