  Great to work with, amazing photos

  Catherine and her partner Allistor were amazing! Great to work with, talented and professional; and they know how to get a great picture (even a first look in the rain.) My husband and I are not picture people and they were patient with us and easy to work with. The actual pictures are PHENOMENAL - there are not enough words to describe how in love I am with my pictures. I never thought I would be this person obsessed with my wedding photos, yet here I am! The shots they got are beyond words.. lots of documentary / candid shots which is what I wanted. They got some beautiful pics of our dog who hates photos more than we do. Again, would 110 percent recommend!

  I can not express how amazing and wonderful Catherine and her partner for the day Allistor was !! They new exactly how to make our special day even more amazing ! They gave great instructions and made us laugh and have fun with the pictures. I also loved that they knew our venue very well and what would work for photos. I would highly recommend working with her and her amazing team they were very professional and fun! They did an amazing job !

  Absolutely LOVE Catherine and Alister!! They are not only fun to work with but their pictures are out of this world!!!! We had engagement photos that are something I have never seen before. They have an eye for what works and have the ability to make every shot taken amazing! We absolutely love them and highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!!!

  I cannot say enough good things about Catherine and Alistair!! They were professional from beginning to end, and made us feel completely at ease. It is obvious that they are very passionate about their photography and make sure that they take their time and get the best quality photos possible. They made our wedding day so special by just being a part of it. They both have a great sense of humor and helped us enjoy our day even more. They are both so talented, and it was fascinating just to watch them work together. It was a pleasure working with them, and we hope to use them for photos again in the future!

  We booked Catherine and Allistar to photograph our wedding after they did our engagement pics. They were running a promotion through Roundhill at the time and we were able to get the engagement session for free, then recieved all of the pics for free when we booked them for the wedding. I'm so happy we had that "practice"shoot with them so we got to spend a bit of time seeing how they work. We received the wedding photos within the timeline it was given. They are amazing! The only problem I have is that there are too many goods one, how do I pick? I love their style, which is a blend of portrait and photo journalism. They don't do the corny fading/blurring/feathering techniques which I'm not really into. We are very happy with the final product!

  We first met Catherine at a vendor meet and greet at our reception venue. My husband and I knew immediately that she was the photographer we wanted. She is fun, easy to talk to and has you relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera without you even realizing it. There is a picture someone took at our wedding that shows Catherine capturing the look on his face when I walked down the aisle and he had no idea she was there. She and Alistair are seamless. On our wedding, Catherine really kept things moving and corralled our families as needed, which was a huge help. I didn’t feel like we had to spend hours taking formal photos – Catherine knew the best shots and made the most of our time so we could actually get back to the party and hang out with our guests. Overall, great experience.

  One of the things we loved most about Catherine and her crew (we shot with both Alistair and Bob) was their calm, competent, and funny personalities. Catherine has a wonderful combination of professionalism and casual humor, and she really put my wife and me (not to mention all of our family members) at ease during our shoots. An engagement session is included in the wedding package, and was a great opportunity to get used to having photos taken (and kissing on cue!). Most important, we were very happy with the photos (still looking forward to the wedding pics!) Catherine and Bob were excellent on our wedding day as well, rolling with the punches even when our fall wedding turned into a winter snowstorm. I'd recommend Catherine and her team to anyone!

  Love them, Love them, Love them! Catherine and Alistair did both my engagement pictures and wedding photos. Still waiting on the wedding photos but if they're anything like my engagement pictures they are going to be amazing! My husband and I had a lot of fun working with them and they are so not "wedding photographers" rather they are true artists and have a real craft for photography which in my book is even better. I suggest them to all of my friends!

  Jackie was the photographer at our wedding and she did such an amazing job. Not only did our pictures come out wonderful, but she made us feel very comfortable on our wedding and wasn't pushy or rude to our guests.

  Catherine was lovely to work with - patient, flexible - but she experienced server issues (all photos are digital) that delayed our getting access to our photos and has been extremely slow too deliver our albums. She was great at the event - she captured everything but without getting in the way or making us feel like she was on top of us the whole time.

  I'd like to start by stating that I've never written a review for any service or product that I've ever received. Nor will I be writing any review for any other of the wedding vendors I used, as my wife and I were very pleased with the other vendors. However, we were thoroughly disappointed with Catherine Leonard Photography.
  
  The service was very slow and disorganized. There always seemed to be an excuse for why our project was not completed (ran out of DVDs, the company they use messed up, and they accidentally emailed themselves, instead of us, lost our thank you cards, just to name a few). It came across as unorganized, and unprofessional. We might have received one apology for this.
  
  It always seemed that we were low on their priority list, even though we had paid in full before the wedding day.
  
  The photos, when we did receive them, we good, but not as good as we thought they would be for the cost.
  
  When the entire process was over, and we received the products (albums, photos, etc.), we wrote the company an email, describing our experience, and disappointments.
  
  As we expected, no one from Catherine Leonard Photography has responded.
  
  Unfortunately, it has left a small tarnish on an otherwise perfect wedding experience. I have certainly heard worse stories about photographers than this one, but for the money we paid, and the importance of day/event, we were expecting more.
