  Best Wedding Decision We Made!

  Working with Katie and her husband, Jay, was absolutely the BEST WEDDING DECISION WE MADE! Katie made all the photos, from the engagement session to the wedding day, so fun and so US. They both have such a gift for beautifully capturing the moments that really feel like you.
  
  We were in AWE of the results they delivered - whatever you’re picturing, they will deliver that times a million. My professional photographer friends were so impressed by their skills and final result. We had a massive thunderstorm on our wedding day, and Katie pulled me aside and offered to do another session if we didn’t get the photos I wanted that day because of the rain. It’s clear that she prioritizes your happiness and experience!
  
  I’m so glad we invested in great photos, since that’s all we have to remember the day by! Seriously, save yourself some time and hire her. You won’t regret it.

  We LOVED Katie and Jay! Months before our wedding, they took the time to get to know us and our personalities through fun questionnaires and had us list every single photo we wanted to capture. They then sent a very detailed wedding day photo timeline that truly makes you instantly trust you're in good hands. They showed up day of quiet and calm yet professional and confident. They captured everything we could've wanted and more. They were able to corral our rowdy wedding party and large family without being pushy and kept the energy light hearted. As the bride, I also felt so much pressure to be a model of perfection and was nervous to be the center of attention all day. Our photos made me feel beautiful and I didn't have to worry about posing or knowing my good side, Katie and Jay did all of that for me. Beyond that, they worked so quickly and sent us sneak peeks within a couple days! It was the perfect way to kickstart our honeymoon :) Highly recommend!

  5 stars ⼨ 10/10 would recommend

  Katie and Jay were AMAZING! They made us feel completely comfortable throughout all of our wedding planning and throughout our big day. It was important to me that I got to actually enjoy my own wedding and Katie and Jay helped to make that happen. They were able to get all the shots that they knew would be important to us and more. They really knew what they were doing so it made the posed photos go by quick but come out perfect. All of the candid shots they took still amaze me, too. Not only were they clearly skilled and experienced photographers, but they were also really great people. They were a lot of fun to be around and personable, too. Also, Katie was prepared for EVERYTHING. She had a fan for when we were sweating or when my bridesmaid spilled on her dress, she had a crochet hook for when my mom was struggling to button my dress, and she had a snack when my stomach started growling during the shoot. For the photos, the experience, and everything you would want from a photographer I give them 5 stars and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Katie and Jay for making our day so magical!

  They are unreal!

  We truly cannot say enough good things about Katie!! Jay, her 2nd shooter (& husband!) is amazing, too! They were so accommodating with our change of plans due to Covid, created a super detailed timeline for us, handled our crazy family & friends beautifully to make sure we got every shot we wanted, and got our hundredssss of pics back to us in record time! Besides being incredible at their craft, they're also just cool a$$ people you will want to hang out with even after your wedding! Do yourself a favor and hire them immediately!!

  Magical!!!!

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Catherine Anne Photography!!! Catie and Jay were fabulous and our pictures are absolutely stunning. We knew we wanted a seasoned Charleston wedding photography team who understood our venue and knew all of the perfect spots and they certainly delivered on that!!! They were willing and happy to travel to CT for our engagement session and made the experience relaxing and fun for us! They were able to capture the candid moments, the sweet moments, and the posed moments all with such beauty and we are so incredibly thankful to have worked with them! If you want the most magical experience for your engagement and wedding photos, you have to book Catherine Anne!

  JUST WOW! - Cannot recommend Katie and Jay more

  We are so thankful and happy that we booked Catherine Ann for our wedding photography. My husband and I both hate getting our photos taking and were fearful of having to pose for hundreds of photos that don't feel like us. After our engagement shoot and within seconds of meeting Katie and Jay that was completely forgotten. We were no longer dreading our wedding and taking hundreds of photos. We were actually excited! Not only are the photos incredibly beautiful but they feel like us and that is exactly what we wanted! I highly recommend using them if you are looking for not only beautiful photos but photos that you feel like yourself in and want to be super comfortable during the entire process.
  
  We had to get 3 photo album made because we couldn't decide between all the photos since they were all just beautiful but also the dancing photos of our friends and family made our album even better!

  We are so thankful and happy that we booked Catherine Ann for our wedding photography.   Don't think twice - hire her!

  When I saw Katie's work I fell in love with it. Bright and colorful photos that focus around humans, emotions, and really tell a story. It takes on a whole new meaning opening your own gallery. Pictures of my husband helping his dad with his bow tie while wearing his bedroom slippers, my mom giving me the biggest hug moments after walking back up the aisle, my husband taking a few moments to sit down with his niece and nephew during photos, tears being shed during my MOHs emotional speech - all photos not listed on any shot list but moments in time that are immediate treasures to our family. Our portraits are gorgeous and really showcase the vibrancy of the design choices we made which I'm so grateful for, and Katie herself can take the MOST picture-phobic bride (aka me) and help you to take flattering natural photos that you'll actually love of yourself!   We are so happy we hired Catherine Anne Photography! What an amazing experience they gave us.

  Katie is absolutely amazing!! When I began searching for wedding photographers I started on Instagram. Catherine Ann’s aesthetic caught me right away. It was so fun and happy and vibrant. It was exactly what I wanted my wedding photos to be. Katie is a direct reflection of that aesthetic. My fiance and I purchased one of her packages that included an engagement session. My fiance and I had never really done professional photos before and we are not “picture takers”. We are even pretty bad at Instagram. Katie made us feel so comfortable and eased us into it. It even started to rain during the shoot and Katie made it work! Our pictures were unbelievably beautiful. On the day of our wedding, Katie and Jay were rockstars. Taking pictures with them was so easy and so fun. We opted to do a first look and have all the posed photos done prior to the ceremony. So worth it!! Katie and Jay worked quickly, kept us on schedule, and even corralled our crazy families. Even my fiance, who despises taking pictures, afterward said, “Hey, that wasn’t so bad!!”. My fiance and I didn’t even realize Katie and Jay were taking photos during the cocktail hour and the reception. They’re awesome people, so we wouldn’t have minded if they were seen or heard, but they were neither seen nor heard (Lol!)!! Katie sent me sneak peek photos the day after the wedding and, oh my gosh. They are stunning. I am dying to get the full set back. On top of all of this, our wedding party, our family, and even our guests have told us how great the photographers were. I have never really heard of that happening before. Overall we had an amazing experience with Catherine Ann Photography and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you, Katie and Jay, for everything.

  What a DREAM come true!

  We absolutely LOVED working with Katie and Jay. I truly don’t think I could have asked for a better photographer. Katie and her husband are the ultimate duo! When I originally looked at photographers, I wanted the top of the line photographer, and I was NOT going to budge on this decision. If I was going to try to save money, it was going to be in other areas of the wedding! I am SO beyond happy I choose this incredible team to capture all of the magical moments on our wedding day! Aaron and I felt so comfortable working with them. Our bridal party’s also had a blast, and they kept everyone laughing all of the time, especially with Katie’s special catch phrases to keep you smiling..;) I’ll let you figure out what the the special catch phrases are during your wedding. I am so excited that received our entire wedding gallery within 3 weeks after the wedding!! I couldn’t recommend them enough! They were worth every little penny spent. Thank you both!   Fun and colorful

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Katie and Jay!! Their photography is colorful and candid and that’s EXACTLY what we were looking for in our wedding photos. They were there to answer any and all questions before the big day and made us feel so comfortable and confident our entire wedding day. We got so many compliments from our bridal party and guests about how easy they made the photos and how beautiful they looked - even if you’re not usually comfortable in front of the camera!! All I had to do was make a list of photos (with family/ guests) that I wanted and Katie made sure to snap a shot. She controlled our timeline so beautifully and we got so many amazing photos! They truly made our wedding day amazing and we have fantastic memories for years to come!!!

  An Amazing Duo

  Katie and Jay are incredible! Not only are they extremely talented, but from the very beginning they made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Their professionalism and organization were crucial in helping our wedding day go smoothly. We never had to wonder where they were during the reception, as they were always there to capture each moment of our day. They even stayed up late into the night editing our photos so that we could wake up and have a sneak peek. A great addition to your team of vendors!

  Katie and Jay are simply amazing!

  I knew I wanted to work with Katie from the minute I saw her work. Every single photo she takes is simply beautiful.
  
  Throughout the wedding planning process, Katie answered every question we had so quickly and was able to refer us to a few of the incredible vendors we ended up selecting. We were planning from out-of-state, so Katie’s suggestions for vendors and shooting locations were especially helpful!
  
  Katie is such a pro. She takes time to get to know her couples before the wedding with very specific questions and makes sure to be super prepared for the day-of by consulting with you on the shots that are important to you! She also provided us with a detailed timeline which made everything so easy going into the day!
  
  We were already so impressed with Katie before the wedding, but when our wedding day came, we were just blown away. Beyond being the picture of professionalism, Katie and Jay were both incredibly friendly and made everyone feel so comfortable. They were flies on the wall while also being amazing guides and directors for the day. They worked quickly and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We have a huge family and had a pretty big wedding party, but Katie and Jay were able to work with everyone seamlessly and capture everything. As a bride who was all over the place, I can’t tell you wonderful it was to have complete trust in our photographers and not have to worry about anything other than marrying my husband! They read the room perfectly and were able to capture photos of every guest and every important moment, whether it was an obvious moment at the altar or a discreet look between two people.
  
  When our photos came back, I was stunned!!! They captured everything so perfectly and beautifully. You can’t even tell that it was a rainy day! Our entire family feels so lucky to have these photos for the rest of our lives to look back on. Each photo is incredibly well-lit, colorful, bright, airy, and most-importantly, perfectly captures the pure joy surrounding the wedding!!! These photos already mean the world to us and we feel so grateful to have them to remember and look back on our perfect day.

  When our wedding planner asked us which wedding vendor we thought would be the most important to us on our wedding day, I answered “photography!” straight away! People say that your wedding day is a whirlwind, and it’s so true! After all of the cake has been eaten and the sparklers have burnt out, your wedding photos are left to remind you of all the love, joy, and excitement you and your spouse shared with your family and friends!
  Needless to say, I browsed a lot of photography portfolios, and I instantly fell in love with Catherine Ann Photography! Katie’s photos are timeless and beautiful! Charleston is like a fairytale, and I wanted to find a photographer who could capture both the natural beauty of our venue and the joy we felt on our wedding day. To say Katie and Jay delivered would be an understatement! When we received our wedding album, we were overjoyed! They captured every moment and detail I could have ever wanted in the most beautiful way. Being able to look back, relive all of those wonderful moments, and even see all the beautiful details I was too overwhelmed to notice is absolutely invaluable to me!
  Also, I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that I’ve always felt a bit awkward and uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Katie and Jay made the whole process so easy! We met for the first time at our engagement session, and with Katie’s guidance, my nerves quickly melted away! They are both so sweet and made us feel so comfortable! Katie really took the time before our wedding to get to know us so that by the time our wedding day came, I felt like we were posing in front of friends!
  I absolutely could not be more grateful for Katie and Jay!! The photos they took for us are truly a priceless gift that will last a lifetime!   Absolutely beautiful photos and amazing efficiency!!!

  Katie and Jay we're so amazing! Not only did that get every single detail documented, but each photo looks better than the next! They we're also incredibly easy to work, gave good direction, and got the photos finished quickly giving us loads of time with friends and family! I am beyond impressed and would suggest them to any new couple tying the knot!

  We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Katie & Jay. From the moment we met Katie at our engagement shoot, we felt so comfortable. She takes such beautiful photos and makes it a painless process. She provided many tips ahead of time so that we were prepared. The day of the wedding, both Katie & Jay did an amazing job splitting time getting photos of everyone getting ready and had all of the shot locations picked out so all we had to do was get in the car and go. Our photos were ready much earlier than we expected and they were amazing!!! We feel so lucky to have worked with them - highly recommend!!!

  From the moment we first had contact with Katie we knew she would be perfect photographer for our big day. We had researched her work online and after seeing her Instagram and website pictures, we completely fell in love with her ability to capture the beauty in a moment.
  
  She was both professional and efficient! She answered all my emails and concerns in a timely manner and took the time to meet with me when it fit my schedule (I was an out of town bride).   Katie and her husband were so amazing and went above and beyond! We decided to do an elopement and they were so flexible and helpful with everything! My husband is in the military and we had to change the date a few times and she never once made me feel bad about it, she was so accommodating. She communicated so well with us and put us at ease - she took care of everything! The day of the ceremony they were on time and found the perfect spots for us to take pictures at. I was a little stressed that day and she constantly reassured me that everything would be fine! The pictures we received were beyond anything we could have ever imagine -- they were PERFECT! Katie and her husband really listened to what we wanted and before we finished they made sure we had every shot we wanted. She said it would take about a month to get our pictures back but we got them way earlier than that!   Katie and Jay are AMAZING! They photographed my sister and her husbands wedding 2 years ago. We fell in love with the way my sisters photos came out. It is completely different then the way photographers photograph in New York. Katie and Jay's photos are bright, vibrant and soft instead of dark and mysterious. We are from Westchester, New York and Katie and Jay were so nice to travel up to New York from Charleston, South Carolina to be our photographers. They were very accommodating and very reliable. Katie always answered my emails and texts right away. She made a timeline for the day of the wedding. We have a huge family so it was SUPER helpful and very organized. They made sure to get all of the pictures we wanted and MORE! The timeline also allowed us to be at cocktail hour so that we could engage with our guests. My husband and I just got our pictures back and we couldn't be any happier. Their attention to detail is amazing! We are forever grateful that Katie and Jay were there to document such a memorable day! We can't wait to look at these for the rest of our lives! Thank you Katie and Jay!

  Katie and Jay were so amazing to work with! This was a destination wedding for us, so we weren't able to meet them until the wedding day. But, they immediately put us at ease so we felt comfortable and natural during all of the photos. They are so professional and captured everything in a very unobtrusive manner. We already decided we will be doing an anniversary shoot with them next year because they were so awesome!
