Best Wedding Food!

We hired Catering Connection to provide catering for our wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. Casey and the team were incredibly professional, from the seamless planning process to the flawless execution on the day of. The food was phenomenal — beautifully plated with edible flowers, delicious appetizers, and entrees that our guests are still talking about. One of our guests even said the braised short rib was not only the best wedding meal she’s ever had, but one of her favorite meals ever. The team was attentive to dietary restrictions and made everyone feel cared for. We also loved our tasting experience at their charming facility near downtown Santa Barbara — it was one of our favorite memories from the planning process. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Delicious food and drinks, wonderful communication!

Working with Catering Connection was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their communication style was detailed, patient, and incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. The quality of their work and value was truly exceptional - the food was delicious, they were receptive to all of our requests, and the dishes were beautifully presented and well-seasoned. We felt like it was a great value for our money, and Casey was very understanding and helpful balancing our food and beverage needs with our budget.

They helped us craft the perfect menu, including passed appetizers, a stunning grazing table, three options for a plated meal, coffee service, and our fabulous signature cocktails. We loved all of our food and drinks, and we received positive reviews from our guests as well!

From the moment we scheduled our tasting with them, working with Catering Connection was a breeze. Casey in particular was so helpful leading up to the day and even followed up afterwards for feedback. The chef and all the service staff were wonderful and led flawless execution on our wedding day. Wedding Reception Dinner

Catering Connection was great to work with and very accommodating with any food changes we requested. The day of the wedding they were on top of everything, the servers were fabulous and the food was phenomenal. I would hire them again! Our friends and family are still talking about the food and service.

Fantastic Catering for our Wedding!

It was a dream to get to work with Casey and her team at Catering Connection over the past year as we planned our wedding. Their food is deliciousss, and we received so many compliments from guests on our appetizers, dinner, cocktails, and bar (we are still receiving compliments to this day). Their staff is so kind and attentive, and we were in great hands on our wedding day. They also helped us manage our wedding rentals and our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be! We had interviewed many catering companies, and Catering Connection was by far the best--we were lucky to have worked with them!

Catering of Our Wildest Dreams!

We are so extremely grateful for finding Catering Connection!! Casey was so helpful, knowledgable, professional, and kind throughout the entire planning process and we simply could not have done this without her. She helped us understand what we needed, answered all of our millions of questions promptly, and worked with us so we could stay within our budget. It was such a joy to work with her and everyone at Catering Connection!!

Most importantly of all, the food was EXCELLENT! Many of our picky eaters or those with high food standards came to us during and after the wedding to tell us how incredible the entrees were! Unlike what happens at many weddings or events, everything from Catering Connection was still warm when we were eating it and it was truly delicious. And we still have people coming to us with compliments about the mini desserts!

Catering Connection also worked with Amigos Rentals and they worked with us to assemble our vision for our ceremony and reception! Everything was what we imagined and more!

Italian Themed Menu/Wedding

A+ wedding caterer

Casey was an incredible person to work with for our wedding. She was so helpful during our food tasting and we felt so supported. It was also such a fun experience and we knew that if we could feel the energy in our tasting, that our guests would feel it at the wedding. Our guests keep telling us the food was so good and they haven’t eaten so much in their lives. Casey’s staff was so professional and worked as a team with our other vendors to create a seamless experience. I can’t say enough good things. I would 100% recommend.

AMAZING Experience, SO Thankful We Found You !!!

Casey and Catering Connection was absolutely AMAZING! From the very start, she was incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and professional. Our expectations were high after an outstanding tasting, but they still managed to exceed them on our wedding day.

We opted for a buffet instead of a plated dinner, and every dish was beyond delicious. The passed appetizers were so tasty... my only regret is that I didn't get to eat more of them. Casey guided us every step of the way in the planning process, helping us choose the perfect number and kins of apps, cocktails, and buffet items to create the exact kind of party we envisioned.

Catering Connection genuinely delivered on every promise and more. I can't recommend them enough! If you're planning a wedding or any event, seriously just do yourself the favor and hire Catering Connection ASAP. They truly made our special day EASY and unforgettable.

Fantastic!!!

The folks at Catering Connection were just amazing. Catering Connection: great food, great service, highly recommend!

Catering Connection catered my daughters wedding, 150 guests. The food was fabulous, all our guests raved about the quality, flavor, freshness and beautiful presentation. We had passed apps, buffet dinner, wine and full service bar. Everything was delicious. The servers at the wedding were great; they were polite, efficient and professional. The bartenders were same. The experience was great from the first time we met with Casey. Casey worked with us to put together a fantastic menu that was within our budget. Our tasting was fun and yummy! The entire experience exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Catering Connection for your event or wedding. Great food, professional service and affordable!!

Catering Connection made our wedding dreams a reality! Every detail, from the mouthwatering appetizers (seriously, the bacon wrapped dates were the best!) to the attentive service, was absolutely perfect. Absolutely amazing!

They were absolutely amazing! Casey and her team took care of everything and helped make our day perfect! She made sure we ate (Both apps and dinner), drinks were full and guests were all happy. They were the absolute best and I would 1000% use them again. They helped with planning every little detail along the way, and helped us make decisions. She even helped organize other vendors and rentals for the big day! Casey and her team made it a flawless and perfect day from start to finish! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Amazing food and service!

We were so impressed by the food and service at our wedding and received so many compliments! Casey is so organized and was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. As our venue did not provide any rentals, Casey was also able to coordinate with a local rentals team for us. This meant we had one less vendor to coordinate with, so this was a huge plus as we found that not all catering companies do this. Overall a great local business to work with and would highly recommend the Catering Connection team!

Fabulous food

My daughter chose Catering Connection for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception so we had a chance to sample many selections. ALL WERE TERRIFIC. The wedding guests included many with dietary considerations and delicious options were available to fit all needs. I would highly recommend this company.

Hiring Catering Connection was one of our best decisions!

There aren't enough words to describe just how awesome Casey and the rest of the Catering Connection team were to work with for our April 2023 wedding! From our tasting, to handling last minute adjustments, to truly INCREDIBLE food on the day-of, there was literally nothing that could have gone better. Guest after guest have reached out saying that this was the best wedding food they've ever had (both the entrees and the cocktail hour hors 'derves), and the signature cocktails were nothing short of amazing (again, guests were stunned by the presentation and taste of all our drinks). The entire team was professional, super friendly, and accommodating for everyone to everyone in attendance. Casey made sure my husband and I were well cared for throughout the night, and importantly, made sure we ate our own share of apps and dinner :) Thank you so so soooo much to the team, we are so grateful for all that you did to make our wedding seriously perfect. The best of the best!

Casey and the team at catering connection are amazing! They catered my wedding and they went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly. I had a last minute gluten free guest and they were able to provide a meal change the day of the event. Not only is their food amazing but their staff is lovely and very professional. Casey is a brides best friend and made sure that my husband and I actually ate food in between running around for pictures. I cannot recommend catering connection enough, from the initial phone call to the day of the event, they were wonderful every step of the way!

The Perfect Wedding Caterer

I cannot say enough kind words about Catering Connection, we made the best decision to use them for a vineyard wedding with ~115 guests in November 2022. My husband and I are both vegetarian, and Catering Connection worked with us to create a menu that our guests were raving about weeks after the wedding. I have a friend specifically requesting the arancini for her wedding this year! Casey was so incredibly helpful in arranging the rentals, helping with the site layout and other logistical tasks leading up to the wedding. Always responsive and helpful, I felt so supported through the whole planning process. Wait staff and bartenders were super friendly and attentive the whole evening. Do yourself a favor and pick Catering Connection for your wedding day!

Casey and Catering Connection are THE BEST

Catering Connection is incredible. Our wedding (5/14/22) was SO fun and everything went so smoothly and I know this is in huge part due to Casey and the staff at Catering Connection. They are so much more than a caterer. Our venue was at Godric Grove in Elings Park and required we bring everything in. We secured all of our rentals through Catering Connection and I am so glad we did- it was super easy and because they had done many weddings at our venue they knew exactly how everything would look/fit and everything looked amazing on the big day. Casey was an absolute dream to work with. She's very professional, thought of every detail, and was so sweet and accommodating. From our first phone call with her to the actual event, communication was timely, easy, and I knew we were in very good hands. The food was amazing, the drinks were perfect and always flowing. The staff went above and beyond and helped my grandparents to their seats right after the ceremony and brought them apps and drinks. They also delivered a full plate of food to my husband and me so we didn't have to go through the buffet line and could continue mingling with guests. Everything was seamless and I was in a state of bliss all day. Casey and Catering Connection have my absolute highest recommendation.

Total Confidence in this vendor before and after wedding day

Casey Garrett was our contact. She was obviously experienced and offered many creative ideas and solutions as the plan for our ceremony and event for 125 guests unfolded. We had the best experience!!

Catering Connection is the absolute BEST! We had a last minute wedding planned in Montecito and found them online. Casey and her team worked with our crazy schedule and budget to create the most magical night! Our guests were in awe of how delicious the food was, and how beautiful the presentations were. The staff was so kind, accommodating and fun to be around. I can't say enough about them. They'll always be our number one choice for any special events.

Highly Recommend Catering Connection

Catering Connection was part of the wedding team that made our day very special. CC came highly recommended to us by our wedding planner. She assured us the food would be great and Casey was a pleasure to work with. Over the course of our 2 year engagement, we designed a menu with Casey’s help, met with her several times, tasted food, changed the menu more, and finally it all came together in October. CC (Casey in particular) was extremely patient with us and helped us figure out what we wanted. Her expertise gave us piece of mind that everything would turn out great, and it did! The food, service, and presentation were exactly what we wanted. I so appreciate that Casey made it her mission to make sure Daniel and I ate during the dinner service. It showed not only her experience, but how much she cared. We are so appreciative of the entire CC team!

A Truly Fantastic Wedding Caterer!

My husband and I hired Catering Connection for our 10/22/22 Santa Ynez wedding. From the very beginning, Casey made sure we were taken care of and got a quote turned around in record time with a variety of options. Their prices were incredibly reasonable and made it so we could opt for a station serving style rather than a traditional buffet. Since our wedding was at a private residence, Casey also helped work with Ventura Party Rentals so that we could get everything we needed for our big day.
We ended up going with passed appetizers, welcome drinks, and then three stations for dinner: Market Station (3 delicious salad options), a Flatbread station ( 3 mouthwatering flatbread/pizza options), and a carving station (TriTip and Chicken). They also helped bring everything needed to serve our cake which we bought ourselves, and put together a display with delicious macaron cookies.
My husband and I have been to a LOT of weddings over the past few years, and, even though I am sure I am biased, I have to say that the food at our wedding was hands down the BEST! People were commenting all night about how amazing the chicken and flatbreads were, and there was enough variety to account for even the pickiest of eaters. The entire Catering Connection staff was very warm and easy to work with.
We also used CC as a licensed bartender. We did BYOB and had a signature margarita cocktail. My only regret was that the cocktails were SO good, they ran out in the first 2 hours! Not the fault of CC, unless you count making delicious drinks a downside! The bartenders were very professional but also easy to talk to. Our guests commented on how wonderful all the staff was throughout the night, which was another wedding first for us.

Perfection

My husband and I used Catering Connection for our recent wedding. Casey was easy to work with and delightful from our first meeting at the tasting appointment--which was beautiful and personalized for us.

Casey not only handled the catering and a ton of logistics, she managed our rentals, and even referred us to a wonderful musician that we used for our cocktail hour. She made sure we weren't forgetting anything and was always service driven in all interactions. Simply put, she was a delight and was a real human with sincerity.

Our wedding started off with welcome snacks/drinks, followed by cocktail hour with a salsa bar/chips/guac, passed chicken empanadas, tuna poke, and butternut squash soup shooters. SO GOOD. For Dinner we chose flank steak with chimichurri, halibut with strawberry balsamic reduction, red potatoes, asparagus, California baby greens salad, and a selection of breads. Not too expansive per our request, but it was more than enough food and was delish in every way.

Casey was attentive and thoughtful--she made sure we had our drinks post ceremony, separate apps so we got to try it all, and timed our dinner for us so it was hot when we came back from a little golden hour photo sneak away.

We did not originally come in with high hopes based our experience at previous weddings, where you typically don't even remember the food. Since the wedding, we have had multiple guests reach out to let us know the food was GREAT!

If we were to do this day again, we wouldn't change one thing! Thanks Casey and the whole CC crew. :)

Catering Connection Perfection

One of the first decisions I made for our son’s wedding welcome party was choosing Catering Connection as our caterer. They had excellent reviews & we could not have been more pleased with their food, service & professionalism. We did a large welcome party for all 145 wedding guests with passed appetizers, drinks, bartenders & full taco bar followed by desserts. They also proved all furniture & rentals. This team does magic, they really do

I’m not sure where to even begin…
Being both from South America the two most important things at our wedding were food (Peruvian/ Ecuadorian) and drinks. We reached out to Catering Connection with this very specific request and they said they could do it! Now… our friends and family take food very seriously so the bar was definitely high. All our fears disappeared after our tasting appointment. This literally tasted like a homemade cozy peruvian meal!! How did they do it? Magic
The desserts? Talk about a spread of south american desserts!!!
The cocktails? Try finding someone else that can make pisco sours from scratch at the bar.. I dare you!
However, the food was not the best part of it this amazing team. IT WAS THE SERVICE! Casey, is a life saver! We had some issues with our planner, what did Casey do? She found us a new one within 48 hours! The day of the wedding, my husband and I were very well taken cared for. Our families had drinks on their hands at all times. Our friends still rave about the food and the drinks. Our wedding was a dream and Casey, Ursula, Phi and all the Catering Connection team made it happen.

The BEST experience all around

I cannot recommend Catering Connection more highly. I am incredibly detailed and particular, so it's no surprise that my wedding followed suit. Casey and the Catering Connection team worked with me to bring my vision to life and far exceeded my expectations. She was wonderful to collaborate with throughout the process; kind, open-minded, fair and insightful. The food turned out so well that guests still tell me how much they loved it, all while being entirely gluten free. The staff was professional and thoughtful. Once the wedding came around, I didn't have to give anything a second thought. Catering Connection will be at the top of my list for any future events, and they should be at the top of yours for consideration as well.

Great experience with Catering Connection!

My wife and I were so impressed and pleased with our experience with Catering Connection. Everything from the initial communications, planning, and food tasting with Casey through the execution of the event with Philippe, the Catering Connection team covered every detail and worked diligently to provide the exact experience we desired. We hosted a small (60 guests), buffet-style wedding in Santa Barbara on a busy wedding weekend in May, yet Catering Connection made us feel like we were their only client. Many of our guests commented numerous times on the quality of the food and service provided by their wait staff. Catering Connection went above and beyond to make our day perfect! Our guest raved about the delicious food and excellent service. Their whole team was responsive and easy to work with leading up the event. Casey in particular always answered all my questions - no matter how detailed. I really recommend working with them on rentals as well since that took a lot of stress off me leading up to the big day. Great food and accommodating vendor!!

Can’t say enough about Casey and her team. She was very responsive and accommodating with menu design. We were trying to stick to a tight budget and she worked with us to come up with options that were yummy but cost effective. We really enjoyed the tasting we did at her office. It was very professional and the food was delicious. We decided to go with a buffet because we wanted variety and everything we tried was honestly so yummy. Food and drinks were high on the top of our list of priorities for our wedding. And her team delivered. Our venue required a full kitchen build out and she worked with our planner and rental vendor to put it all together. She provided us a great bartending staff to serve welcome drinks, cocktail hour drinks, serve wine table side at dinner, etc.. We had to supply our own alcohol and her team was very organized and served exactly what we wanted at the appropriate times. Our ceremony was delayed and she was super flexible in moving some of the timeline around and serving dinner slightly later. She brought my hubby and I some appetizers and champagne to our bridal suite after the ceremony so we could have a bite to eat before photos. Our dessert bar was amazing! I wish we could eat it all over honestly. We were too busy to enjoy all the food and drinks like our guests did. But everyone at the wedding told us how much they enjoyed the food! So that made us happy. I only wish we had leftovers!

A great team and highly recommended!

Can't imagine a better catering experience than we had with Catering Connection for our wedding at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. Throughout the 1+ year, Casey was amazing to work with in the planning stages of the menu, coordination of rentals and dealing with our random daily questions leading up to the wedding. We had a really nice and fun tasting months prior to the big day. By the time our wedding day arrived, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The entire staff including bartending were phenomenal, always looking after us and all guests. The guests really enjoyed the food with many mentioning the short rib after the wedding; ). They really are a great team and we highly recommend them!

CC catered our rehearsal dinner on a boat

I live in PA and needed to plan a rehearsal dinner in Sant Barbara. I investigated the recommended caterers on the the Condor’s list and decided not to use any of them. After talking to Casey Garrett I knew I could trust planning this event from PA. She toured the boat for me and came up with the plan. The Captain stated they were the best caterer’s ever to be on his boat. They far and beyond exceeded expectations and we’re VERY fairly priced.

Wonderful experience

Catering Connection is simply the best. Their team is professional and so helpful. Every step of the process was seamless, even when we had to change our plans multiple times due to covid. They were always friendly and accommodating and really made things stress free, we were so grateful for that. Day of was perfection, a number of our guest told us later how much they loved the food and overall flow of service and said it was some of the best they’d ever had at a wedding. We highly recommend this amazing team.

Amazing service combined with a delicious, high quality meal

Everyone was such a big help. The bartender even helped me get my train in order before I walked down the aisle. Honestly, the event wouldn’t have been half as good without them. We did a vegetarian dinner and we didn’t get a single complaint, in fact, the meal received a high amount of praise. Honestly waiting a year to try the risotto again was torture!! Catering Connection really hit it out of the park. A million thank you’s to them!

Amazing experience & loved working with Casey

I am so glad that we hired Catering Connection for our small wedding last month. Casey was such a pleasure to work with and was incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable. Because we were having such a small event, we chose not to hire a planner - meaning I had so many more questions than I anticipated, yet Casey was patient and helpful through it all. She definitely went above and beyond throughout the whole process, and even helped us decide on and coordinate rentals.

Catering Connection was also able to execute custom requests for us such as deviled eggs, bacon wrapped shrimp, prime grade meat, and keto desserts. Everything was beautifully plated and delicious, and our families are still talking about how great the food was (particularly rave reviews of the baked brie on the charcuterie plate). The day-of staff were prompt, efficient, and kind. The day went so smoothly and better than expected. Please do yourself a favor and hire this team as well!

Color me impressed

We hired Catering Connection to cater our wedding of 129 guests at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in November 2021 and had an amazing experience from start to finish. We had tried another caterer which came from a recommendation but found the food to only be so-so (not to mention more expensive). Knowing we had many excellent Italian cooks on our guest list, we knew the food had to be A++.

We set up a tasting and were so impressed by the quality of the food but also the variety of hors d'oeuvres and entrees. Casey handled our wedding from day one and was outstanding with answering our questions (of which there were many). The day of our guests were all raving about the food. A month later we're still hearing outstanding feedback. Special shoutout to their lovely employees who made a point of preparing us a plate of our hors d'oeuvres so we could actually eat the food we purchased - incredible!! Catering Connection is fantastic and we'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Loved Catering Connection and Casey

We were extremely impressed with Catering Connection and our point of contact Casey Garrett. Casey was responsive and helpful in the time leading up to the wedding with suggestions on how to make our vision come to live and tools to easily organize the event. Her experience with the venue and the industry in general was a huge advantage and her personal attention to the bride and groom was a wonderful touch.

We hired Catering Connection to handle our wedding and we could not have been happier with the results! They put together a wonderful menu that was appropriate for the event and helped to coordinate all our rentals as well. Working with our contact, Casey, made the food and rental portion of planning the wedding a breeze and she was just an amazing person to work with. The day of the event went incredibly smoothly as well. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. We received many compliments on the food from our guests, even the snooty ones! Their staff was professional and courteous. There was honestly nothing that I can complain about. While I don't plan on having any other weddings, I would definitely hire them again if needed.

We cannot say enough good things about Catering Connection. Not only is their food incredible.. their team is amazing! We worked with Casey to plan our wedding (again and again thanks to covid). They were so kind about moving the date, changing up the menu multiple times to adapt to the current restrictions and guidelines, and went above and beyond with helping us with all of our rental needs for the wedding. We opted for a fun wedding dinner with the most amazing burgers and garlic fries. They created custom cheeseboards for guests that were not only beautiful but so delicious. They created such a wonderful experience day of for our guests but most importantly made planning a wedding a breeze. We cannot thank them enough!!

BEST Caterer in the area

I had a phenomenal experience with Catering Connection! Philippe worked with us constantly to come up with a plan that was in our budget and when we had to relocate one week before our wedding he 1000% pulled through and helped us with the organizational change. He handled all of our questions, was quick to hop on the phone with us, was friendly and understanding and a delight to work with. I really can't say enough good things about Catering Connection and Phillippe. Absolutely Spectacular

Philippe and his team at Catering Connection made our wedding day absolutely perfect. The number one response from our guests about our wedding was that this was the greatest meal they had ever had at a wedding. From the very beginning of the process, Philippe went above and beyond to create a spectacular menu, meat our budget needs, and make my fiancé and I feel like an absolute priority. During the planning process, Philippe promptly answered every one of my emails and answered every question thoroughly and kindly. He was extremely flexible with every one of my requests and worked so hard to put together a menu and layout that worked perfectly for us. The week of the wedding, we were devastated with an unexpected rain forecast, but Philippe worked tirelessly with my wedding coordinator (Toby Theule, Santa Barbara Wedding Coordinator) to come up with a new plan that was both beautiful and functional. On the day of, the staff was so kind and hardworking, and the food was absolutely mind blowing. We took the buffet route and even the last of our 150 guests said the food was piping hot. Specifically, the braised beef short ribs were out of this world. I highly recommend hiring Philippe and Catering Connection to cater your next event.

Fancy-schmancy level at an affordable price

Philippe was so helpful in picking out a good balance of different types of apps as well as portioning for the size for our party size. The day of, he was so professional and helpful to our guests, they had an amazing time eating and drinking. Delicious food and a stress-free experience

Catering Connection did such a wonderful job at our wedding from initial planning to final cleanup. Our initial calls were really straightforward and helpful. They were very flexible when I wanted to add and remove different things. We chose to have served appetizers and a buffet menu, we also did our rentals through them which made the whole process seamless and easy. White Glove experience

Philipe and Ursula did a phenomenal job with ease. This team knows how to pull off a wonderful, elegant event with very low stress. I can't think how they could be more helpful. They guided us through and accommodated where we needed changes and took care of absolutely everything. They are more than a catering company, they manage all the details in a caring and flexible manner

Great food, great service!

Philippe and his team were absolutely amazing! Besides the food (build your own taco bar) being delicious and incredible, everything from the drink service to the set up to clean up was done so smoothly and without a hitch. The entire team was attentive and detail-oriented, making sure everyone had a great time. I had guests coming up to me, saying how much they loved the tacos and dessert. I truly thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping to make my day so special!

Best Caterer you could ask for

Would gladly hire Philippe and the entire crew for another event. From the beginning they were fantastic, responsive and reasonable. The staff was amazing at our wedding and the food was just as delicious as it was at the tasting. Truly, you couldn't have a better catering experience. They even sent over food to us to make sure we ate on our wedding day and routinely checked in with us. Their level of professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled. We tried several other caterers, and they were far and away the best.

Fabulous in every way!

I can’t begin to rave highly enough about the fantastic Catering Connection Team!! This amazing company was outstanding in every way! Our daughter and son-in-law got married in October, and thanks in huge part to this phenomenal catering company, their wedding was the most perfect day ever! The professional and caring ways of all of their team members were extraordinary. Philippe was absolutely wonderful! He was by our side every step of the way during the entire planning process. His friendly, kind and very prompt responses to all of my emails and phone calls were so reassuring to us, especially with the many questions I had along the way. Philippe was so great also in helping us stay within our budget, and together with his expertise and our daughter’s and son-in-law’s food choices, he helped us design the most fabulous gourmet appetizers and entrees ever! And he made this so extra special and fun at a food tasting, in which he created a lovely sit-down atmosphere for the Bride and Groom and a few of us family members to enjoy before making our final selections. Philippe and staff went above and beyond also the day before the wedding and also the day of, not only with all of the food and drink set up but also in setting up of chairs and decorating the ballroom dining room tables to perfection! Ursula was absolutely amazing as the woman in charge the day of our wedding! Her professionalism and that of her staff was so outstanding! Ursula had everything running so smoothly time wise with every aspect of our dining and drinking pleasures for the evening! All of our guests loved the food! Everything was so wonderful and tasty and every aspect of the display of the food was beautiful! And the entire serving staff during the reception couldn’t be beat – so super friendly and 100% attentive to all the guests! I cannot even begin to tell you how very grateful we all are for all that the Catering Connection Team did to make our daughter’s and son-in-law’s wedding day celebration the most magical and perfect day of their lives! Wonderful planning, perfect execution, and delicious food!

Love love love Cating Connection!!!

We used Catering Connection for our wedding reception after having used them several times in the past for holiday parties and other events. As always, they did not disappoint. We've worked with the owner, Ursula, in the past and she is wonderful. This time around our main contact and event manager was Philippe. He is just as amazing. We started the process right around the time of the Thomas Fire and Montecito Mudslide, but despite road closures and utter chaos around us, Philippe made sure that we stayed on track and he even met with us on his day off. He consistently went out of his way to ensure our reception went smoothly. Not only did he plan the menu and manage the event, but he also assisted us with décor, rentals, figuring out a timeline, and helping us with other logistics for the evening. The food was delicious and we received tons of compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Catering Connection. You cannot go wrong with them.

Wouldn't change a thing!

Catering Connection made our catering choice easy for our wedding. We provided an idea of what type of food we wanted and Catering Connection nailed it! At our tasting, we didn't change the menu at all! The day of food was delicious, top-notch quality and the arrangement was very beautiful and appeasing. With the day of and reception being a little chaotic, Phi brought us a plate and ensured our families also ate. Overall the first-class service from the food to the care and thoughtfulness, we were very happy with Catering Connections. Our guests are still raving about how amazing our food was and it's all because of Catering Connection. I'd love to work with them again in the future!! Delicious food and kind and courteous staff!

I am so happy I used catering connection for my wedding. I had my reception on a yacht and all my food was passed. Catering connection knocked it out of the park. Our guests loved the food!! Winery Wedding in May

We enjoyed working with Catering Connection very much. Phi was always professional and very responsive. We did have a couple of minor hiccups (and all of my guests ate our cheese before we arrived!), but Catering Connection resolved our issues quickly and very much to our satisfaction. The nicest catering company!!!

Phi and his team at Catering Connection created the most spectacular menu for our October wedding in Santa Barbara!
First, the watermelon welcome refreshment was the perfect way to kick off the warm October evening -- super delicious and refreshing.
For apps, we offered 4 different ones to our guests during our cocktail how...which was perfect! Phi's team has a HUGE variety of what they offer -- and everything we sampled was so so good!!
Lastly, for the food...we decided to have a buffet because we wanted our guests up and mingling as much as possible...and this really helped make that happen. Again, the food -- there is so much to choose from. It is impossible to go wrong. People say "wedding food" never is that great -- but let me tell you...this was amazing!!!
One thing worth mentioning: We didn't use Phi's bar services because we had a connection elsewhere. However, based on their service throughout the night...I have to imagine their bartending services would be stellar.

The team at Catering Connection was absolutely amazing. Philippe worked with us on everything from budget to smaller details. He was so helpful in organizing the entire event. I did not have an event coordinator and so having him and Zohe help with executing my special day made everything go off without a hitch! And the FOOD! We wanted a specific style of service and Philippe went out of his way to make it happen, ordering from different rental companies to negotiating with the venue. My guests RAVED about the style, setup, and flavor of the food. We wanted particular apps for the cocktail hour and they went above and beyond with our bacon bar! My husband and I got married in April 2016 and we had such a great experience working with Catering Connection. Philippe was incredibly helpful and so easy to work with. He helped plan everything out as far as food and even the layout for the tables. Ursula was the one who was there the day of, but she knew exactly what was going on and how everything was supposed to go. Their teamwork is flawless. Not only were they incredibly helpful, but the food was amazing too. We had so many compliments on the food and how delicious it was. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in the Santa Barbara/Ventura area.

Holy cow, where do I even start? The food was SO GOOD. I mean, absolutely incredible. I got so many compliments from all of my guests about the dinner that we served at our wedding. And thats pretty nice when you consider the fact that we weren't making food our #1 priority!

We tasted with several different caterers before deciding to go with Catering Connection, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Hands down, they had the best food for the money. I literally felt like I was eating a 5-star meal. And their presentation is immaculate. They pay attention to details, which I love. Perfectly sliced lemons in each water ... perfectly placed little pieces of bread with butter next to it. They made sure that the food tasted just as good as it looked, which was important to us.

One of my biggest fears in choosing a caterer is that they would put their best foot forward during the tasting, but on the wedding day, it would be a step-below. The exact opposite is true with Catering Connection. The wedding day food was actually better than the tasting, which I didn't even think was possible.

They also made Sangria for our bar and it was a hit! I can't recommend them enough.

One of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding was choosing Catering Connection as our caterer. We had the pleasure of working closely with Philippe there.
Philippe was extremely knowledgeable about what is popular and in season, what set-up works well with our venue and was open to a few special requests we had. The tasting they supplied was so impressive and professional. I could tell just by the service we received prior to even tasting the food that Catering Connection would be a great choice. But then, when we tasted the food, there were no questions asked. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and the presentation was beautiful!
The food at the wedding was just as I remember it from the tasting…which can be very rare (coming from a corporate event planner). Our wedding was in April and even up to last week, I received a note about how great the wedding was and how GOOD THE FOOD WAS!! In addition to the food, the service was top notch. Service was a huge hot button for me and the Catering Connection team blew me away. They made my husband and I feel like VIPs and I witnessed them take good care of our guests all night long. Philippe also worked with my mom to surprise us with a family recipe for our late night snack which was so special!
I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed working with Catering Connection and Philippe. They made such a huge impact on how successful and enjoyable our wedding was.

We had an amazing experience using Catering Connection to cater our April wedding in Santa Barbara. Catering Connection handled everything for us: food, beverages, service, bar tending, and coordination of rentals. When creating the menu for your event, you have the option to chose from their extensive selection of menu options, or to customize your menu with pretty much anything you might want. We had a few specific requests (like Churros for dessert) and they were able to accommodate them no problem. And the food is delicious! We worked with Philippe and he was a pleasure to work with, very responsive to all of our questions and requests and was sensitive to our budget and helped us come up with a menu and plan that worked perfectly for us. We were so impressed by the team that helped us on our wedding day, each of them were professional and friendly and made sure that we didn't have to worry about a thing. They took care of all the rentals, the food and beverage service, set up and clean up. Not only was the food delicious but they take great care in the display of the food and beverage stations as well. We were blown away by the way everything turned out, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for catering services in the Santa Barbara area.

Food was absolutely amazing. We received numerous compliments on the food from guests. The food and bar service was great and very friendly. During cocktail hour, it was easy to find passed appetizers. Our event manager Ina kept making sure we had everything we needed and set aside a separate plate of appetizers for us. During the meal, servers did a great job keeping everyone's glass full. Leading up to the wedding, Philippe was very helpful with questions, responded to emails quickly, and was very accommodating, even when I changed my mind at the last minute about the tablecloth color. They take care of all rentals for you as well. Affordable and well worth it!

Working with Phillipe and Catering connection was a true delight. We interviewed a number of caterers for my wedding, and he's the only one who walked through the venue and really had a plan for the flow of the whole event instead of just the food. He had priceless suggestions about bar placement and flow.

I was planning the wedding from across the country, so I didn't get to sample the food before we booked, but my proxy tasters were very impressed so we went for it. So glad we did. Phi even set up a special tasting for my husband to be and I which was magical. We'd been having a typical overwhelming day of wedding errands, and Phi welcomed us into the beautiful tasting room, and brought out all of the courses of delicious food (including our special requests)! Everything was perfect and we felt so much more relaxed. Plus Phi introduced us to the wine that we ended up serving at the wedding.

Day of service was great. Bride and Groom always had snacks and drinks, and we got tons of compliments about the food.

I would recommend Phi and CC to everyone!

I've read a few reviews and a lot of them say it all.

Ursula, and the crew, were more than caterers. Depending on what was needed, she was a wedding planner, she was very patient, a friend, a guide and, she made you feel like nothing could go wrong on your special day. I can't overstate how "above and beyond" Catering Connection goes. And MY GOODNESS....the food was fantastic!

The food, professionalism of the crew, accuracy of the quotes, communication along the way is all enough for a 5 star recommendation. If there was a way to give 10 stars for the intangibles I would click away. They care, they make it special, and no detail gets left behind. We opted for a plated salad and a buffet and the main courses were as good, or better, than any sit down restaurant in the area.

Like the other reviews said - look no further or you may regret it. This is your best value. This is the best team. Any other choice is simply irrational!

We highly recommend Catering Connection and Philippe Berger for catering your wedding or any other catered event. For our tasting Philippe created a delicious interpretation of what we wanted our menu to be. And the night of our wedding delivered the best catered meal and best service we've ever had at a private event or restaurant. He and his staff were flawless.

We looked at several caterers and sampled food at two. From the first minute we sat down in Catering Connection for our tasting we knew we were in for something special. And while some caterers give you good food for the tasting and cheap-out at the event, every bite of food at our wedding was as good as or better than the food at our tasting.

Day-of the wedding Catering Connection could not have been more on top of our needs. During the (seemingly) never ending post-wedding photos they kept bringing us appetizers and cooling beverages, which were just what we needed.

During the reception we felt like Philippe's Catering Connection crew were almost psychic. Whenever we were thinking, "I would like this", or "so-and-so looks like they need that" there was a polite server at our arm saying, "can I get you something?"

We have hired caterers for work events at our Santa Barbara-based companies, but Catering Connection is better than anybody else we've seen in town. Thanks Philippe & Catering Connection!

So many guests commented that this was by far the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I had the pleasure of working with Phillipe who was a dream from start to finish. His extensive experience in the food- catering world offered a wealth of knowledge about all things food and entertaining. He helped me come up with a fun an creative menu and worked with me every step of the way to create the wedding of my dreams. I plan to use catering connection for any event, big or small, in the future. It felt like I was planning a party with a friend, who also happened to be an expert in this field. The servers and bartenders they provided were incredibly professional, attentive and polite.

The food at our wedding was amazing! To fit our Santa Ynez wine country location, vineyard/barn setting and an Italian influenced theme, we wanted to create a Tuscan-inspired family style feast for our guests. After receiving a few proposals that were twice our budget, our wedding planner recommended contacting Philippe Berger at Catering Connection. Best decision ever. From our initial kick-off call, to our planning sessions, to our amazing menu tasting, through the fantastic wedding feast, it was perfection. They created a menu that was authentic yet unique, including the homemade pasta dishes (even Tuscan Pici Pomodoro!) Even during our reception they were so attentive, always making sure I had a glass of wine or champagne. It was exciting to watch the servers bringing out the trays of food like it was a movie... and our friends enjoying the family style feast, eating, drinking and just hearing the buzz in the barn!
Catering Connection's service, professionalism, menu creation and overall quality are A++. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so having confidence in our caterer, Chef and their staff created a huge sense of relief. Working with Phi on our wedding was a dream! He was so organized with perfect attention to detail. We went with a slightly unconventional option for our evening wedding - breakfast! And they were completely willing to work with our idea within our specific budget. The food was fabulous and the staff working the event were so friendly and accommodating. Our guests repeatedly commented about how often people would come by and offer them appetizers during cocktail hour. It's never fun when you're anxiously waiting for food to come by you! Overall, working with Catering Connections was wonderful and I would highly recommend them for weddings or any catered event.

Catering Connection is who you should and who you need to work with. You will be extremely happy, the food will be wonderful and your guest will be impressed that your food doesn't taste like typical wedding food. No dry chicken or cardboard steaks at Catering Connection. Everything is a foodie's dream. Our guests complimented us on the food more than anything else. Bigger than that, they help with rentals and streamline the process!

Catering Connection was a joy to work with. Their proposal was head and shoulders above the rest. They really listened to what was important to us and offered a bid within our budget. I did not get that kind of attention or transparency from other catering companies in the area. I corresponded with Philippe Berger after a great tasting and hiring them to cater our wedding. He was responsive, understanding, patient, creative, and detail-oriented over the 9-10 months leading up to the wedding. He worked well with my venue, coordinator, and rentals vendor, and was basically a bride's dream come true. After I hired Catering Connection, I didn't have to do a thing!

Our guests raved about our buffet dinner and appetizers during Happy Hour. They LOVED them. We were very pleased with the service on our wedding day as well. Each member of their staff was courteous, knowledgable, and responsive. Phi was not at our wedding, but another member of the staff took control and it was flawless. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Note to brides: Their food signage and uniforms (tie) have the Catering Connection logo on them. I made my own food signage, so it wasn't an issue for me but I wish I had known in advance.

I highly recommend Catering Connection to other brides. They are reasonably priced (especially in comparison to others in the area), friendly, delicious, and completely professional. Happy planning!

Catering Connection impressed us from the beginning. The food during the taste test was delicious and was overall the best price that fit our budget. Philippe was very attentive and responsive during the whole planning process, replying very quickly to any questions I had. He took care of all the rentals too since my venue came with nothing. The wedding was so much fun and went off perfectly. Such a great team to have make my day special! (Also, my wedding was June 21, not sure why it defaults to July).

Omigod I cannot say enough good things about Catering Connection. Working with Phi and Ursula for the menu and ordering the rentals was amazing! They were so very knowledgeable and professional, Phi was so responsive and didn't mind when I would ask a billion questions and then more! Seriously, I really think they have got to be the best Catering vendors in Santa Barbara. I strongly recommend using them for your catering. The food turned out amazing and our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the pork and fish dinner was and the mini beef wellingtons for appetizers!! Ursula even made sure to set aside extra appetizers for us so we could enjoy the food ourselves when greeting our wedding guests. They were just superb!

Catering Connection was the utmost of professionalism from the first time we contacted them through the execution of the event, cleanup and follow up. They were hugely responsive and flexible. The staff was mature, pulled together and professional. We have received countless compliments on the delicious food.

I was the Event Planner and Maid of Honor for my sister and am so appreciative to Philippe and Ursula for making me feel so comfortable and allowing me to enjoy the wedding instead of work it.

I would HIGHLY recommend Catering Connection and look forward to working with them in the future.

I could not begin to say enough about Philippe and the Catering Connection team. From begging to end, Philippe was a pure joy to work with. The food was amazing, our rentals were perfect, and he really acted as a coordinator on the day of the wedding. Philippe and his team goes above and beyond to make your event beautiful. We had so many compliments on how the food was so good, how the wedding was so beautiful and how it seemed to flow so smoothly. This is in credit to the work that Philippe and his team put in. He took us through the process of picking the food for our event and the rentals and even arrived early that day to coordinate the set up of the rentals. They were by far our favorite vendor and I would recommend them for a wedding or any big event to anyone and everyone.

Philippe our coordinator was extremely helpful with all the details and was very flexible making appropriate recommendations within our wedding budget. I figured that the actual event food would be a little less precisely prepared (from the tastings) since the staff was working from a temporary kitchen and the party so large. Not so ! Everything was fresh, very tasty & well presented. Several of my foodie friends (one a former caterer herself) were very impressed. Service was excellent and friendly. Both bars ran smoothly as well. Two thumbs way up. Thanks.

Ursula and Briane did a wonderful job helping us coordinate our menu and matching our tastes. The chef Mark is truly spectacular, making delicious cuisine while being equally kind and personable. The overall service staff was efficient, courteous and kind. Our experience with catering connection was delicious!

My wedding literally would not have been as amazing if it weren't for the great food and event staff from Catering Connection. Phi, our maitre d', made sure everything was timely and went off without a hitch. The wait staff and bartenders were incredibly attentive and my husband and I did not have to worry about anything except greeting our guests and having a good time. Plus, they also coordinated our event rentals for the ceremony and reception on our behalf! For any large event I'll be using them to ensure great food and a great atmosphere.

Amazing Catering! :)

Working with Catering Connections was a great experience. They were super receptive to all of our changes and requests and worked with us to get the exact menu that we wanted.

They were really responsive and also great with helping us ensure that we had the correct rentals for the space as well! So many of our guests told us that they LOVED the food -- especially the cod and the churros, they were the biggest hits of the night!!

We know how weddings can go, so we don't think it's a huge deal, but here are a few things that happened that resulted in a four star. Thankfully, none of the guests had any complications, but I'm not sure that the dietary restrictions were too carefully considered - the bride specifically called out a dietary restriction that she noticed when the first course came out, but obviously we aren't able to validate all of the meals. We were also told by guests that the meals took quite a long time to come out between the first and second course and lastly that the bartenders provided by the catering company didn't stir any of the drinks. All small, and overall a stellar experience but just a few things that we took into consideration for our review.

Gorgeous, tasty food and great team!

We really loved working with Casey at Catering Connection for our recent wedding in Santa Barbara!

Highlights:
-Casey was awesome! She was responsive, friendly, reliable, and proactive - she was easy to work with and made sure to bring us food throughout the night to make sure we got to try it all
-Catering Connection did a great job incorporating our feedback and iterating on our menu between our tasting and wedding day - in fact, the food was delicious and tasted even better than at our tasting
-Catering Connection presents food sooo beautifully, especially our cheese/cracker/hummus spread which was absolutely gorgeous!
-Food quality is definitely above average for wedding food and we got lots of compliments on it!

This is minor, but we would have loved a quick heads-up that if things are running late, the buffet was going to be cleared as quickly as possible - we got some feedback from guests that (full) food trays were being cleared behind the last person going through the line.

All in all though, it was a wonderful night with wonderful food!

Great Food and Follow Through

Executed our wedding perfectly. We had rain expected on our wedding day and Casey's ability to adapt to the changing circumstances I will forever remember and be thankful for. She really relieved a lot of stress. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Excellent quality and service all around.

Catering Connection

Casey was so great to work with. From the tasting to the day of the wedding she was responsive, professional and courteous. I will say catering connection never tried to upsell us or pressure us on anything. We gave them our idea and they presented us with all options including some great recommendations from Casey. Would absolutely recommend them.
