We were so happy we chose them to do our rehearsal dinner and wedding food! We did tacos and sangria bar for rehearsal dinner and carribean buffet and open bar for the wedding night and it all so delicious. We didn’t even do a tasting before as we live in Seattle and they did not disappoint! Our guests are still talking about how good everything was and I still think about the yummy shrimps tacos and fresh fish! Thank you team!! -

The food at Green Turtle was amazing. They were easy to work with, very flexible, on time. I received numerous compliments on the service and the food. The bar cart was so cute and added a fun element to the wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone! -

I am so happy that we chose to go with Green Turtle Inn for our rehearsal dinner in Islamorada! They gave us a food truck style Cuban meal that left our guests raving for weeks! Working with them was effortless. They made awesome accommodations for my guests that were vegetarian, and even fulfilled my last minute requests. Since ours was a destination wedding, we had most our guests at the rehearsal dinner and it went off without a problem. It was about a 100 people in total. Green Turtle Inn was a a great choice! -

Green turtle and kaiyo grill catered our wedding on a chartered boat. They were prompt and organized. They food was amazing! However I was really impressed with the staff the day of the event. Elena was wonderful and made sure all of our guests were taken care of and full! -

We had both the rehearsal dinner and the ceremony dinner catered by the Green Turtle Inn. The food was amazing and there was so much! The waitstaff for the wedding dinner was very attentive and did a great job. I would highly recommend. -

I wanted to bring the keys flavor to my wedding and Green Turtle did just that! What you receive is worth every penny plus more! The moment I knew we were going to have them as our caterer every step was flawless. All questions were answered throughly and details I didn’t think of they brought up. The food of course was exceptional and every guest couldn’t stop talking about their plate. Thank you for such an amazing meal! -

Married in Marathon
I cannot express how much we loved working with Elena and team. This was a 10 month process with Covid 19 restrictions thrown in the middle of planning it. We were not sure the Keys would open back up in time, we had to change our plan from a buffet style to plated meal 3 weeks before the wedding, and change some of the menu items. But they pulled it off, with all of our guests raving how delicious their meal was. Service was excellent and a good time was had by all. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

I am so grateful for the work Elena, the catering director, did in making my not typical food selections a possibility! It was amazing. We worked with the GM, and chef to plan out what could realistically be done within our budget and boy did they deliver. The planning and execution of my eco-friendly zero waste wedding was also done seamlessly. Thankful for the green machine being a giant mobile kitchen that provided endless hot food at our outdoor venue. Highly recommend Elena and her team! -

Elena was our contact and was extremely helpful I creating a menu that they do not typically offer. The entrees were particularly important to us so we coordinated with the chef's to plan out our perfect reception dinner. The service was great throughout the entire party from pre-ceremony all the way to tear down. The guests are still raving about the food that was served.Working and planning with Elena and the Green Turtle Catering Team was great but what was even better were the RESULTS! The food tasted amazing and what was so great about the entrees was that they helped collaborate to make our ideal meals! People are still raving about the food and the cold cuts provided. The set up was very fast the communication between staff and the coordination Meghan Farrar from FarrEver After Events was so smooth. As the Bride I was hardly even approached because they fixed any and all issues themselves and I was none the wiser AKA YASS! The "Green Machine" (food truck) ensured the food was hot and cooked on site which is so important when feeding over 100. I am so thankful for this team and the service they provided as our standards are from being in the industry and we were not let down! -

Kristin Sent on 04/02/2016I absolutely love Green Turtle catering! They did such an amazing job with my client's outdoor wedding in October. Not only was the food out of this world, but their staff is top notch. Working with Amanda leading up to the event was better than I expected. She was always up for whatever my clients suggested. If they didn't offer it, they made sure to test it out and master it for the menu. On the day of the wedding we had a huge storm that came through and all the staff was hands on and willing to help. When it was time to put chairs back up and put the finishing touches on the tables, there was no hesitation. They are team players and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Green Turtle catering for any wedding (big or small), but please don't forget to order the key lime pie tarts!!! -

I 100% recommend the food from Catering by Green Turtle Inn & Kaiyo Grill for your wedding/event.
It was cooked on site - hot + fresh even for the last table served - my guests were raving even a few days later. It is without a doubt the best wedding dinner and cocktail apps I could have asked for/have ever experienced at a wedding.
The staff I spoke to onsite and during planning were great; professionalism, knowledgeable, answered any questions (some emails did need a few days to get a response but that is due to them always being SO BUSY/IN DEMAND), and even brought me over the food during cocktail hour when I had to step away for other wedding duties. The bartender was great as well with no one waiting for their drinks.
I wholeheartedly recommend them and am thankful for my wedding planner (Frond + Feather Events) to recommend them to me :) -

We picked Green Turtle because it is one of our favorite restaurants in Islamorada. It is always scary to have a large amount of food at a wedding because it is something everyone remembers.
Green turtle perfected it. Everything was amazing. We even had an unexpected child guest and they came in and gave us an extra plated child’s meal immediately. Our adult food was in buffet style and it was all amazing. We had seasoned, grilled chicken and Mahi with mango salsa as our main entrees and I can’t believe how yummy they were. Our appetizers were bruschetta, beef sliders, and bacon wrapped scallops. Everythi ng was beyond expectation.
Everything was so good that my husband and I sat and actually ate our food! -

And didn't say anything till a couple months later and blamed us for it saying the never got it, when we gave them a check when they arrived. So make sure you note giving it to them. We had since then joined accounts and didnt see that the payment had not been taken out. Other than that, it was great. -

We had a great experience working with Elena and the food was incredible. Everyone at my wedding has commented on how excellent the food was - from the appetizers to late night snack (soft pretzel bar!) Elena was also really helpful to guide us through logistics. She even brought us a tray of apps while we signed our wedding license :) Highly recommend! -

Nathalia Sent on 11/17/2012We chose this vendor as our cater when we visited Kaiyo Grill- One of the most delicious places in Islamorada! Love their sushi and wood fire cooked steak! The tasting was amazing but when we were served at our wedding, our meals weren't exactly what we had tasted at the tasting. Some salt, herbs missing, and they changed our mix vegetables to just plain organic carrots. Luckly the manager of catering is just amazing, saved my life when my linens went wrong through a different vendor, anyways, she took off the vegetable order because it wasn't what we ordered. Also I was disappoint to know it was a different chef who cooked our meal at the wedding than who did our tasting months before. Before you book them, make sure these things don't happen. Overall we were happy. They cooked on site, which was awesome!
