Catering By Christine is the #1 reason my wedding evolved from a vision to reality. From the very beginning, Pete, Emma, and the rest of their team were so responsive, fielding countless nervous emails and calls from me while always answering my questions and reassuring me that they had everything under control. Emma coordinated the day to perfection and made it run so smoothly, we always had someone attending to us, and I might just trust her with my life! The food was 10/10....the passed appetizers were what dreams are made of, and our guests are still talking about how much they loved all the food. Amazing wedding team!

Just Run to hire catering by christine. It’s been five months since our wedding and our families and friends are still raving. The food and presentation is out of this world.! the attention to detail the little drinks that they pair with hors d’oeuvres. It’s just all amazing. Our venue requires you bring in everything and I was skeptical at first until I spoke with Chrissy. She put my mind at ease and told me they would coordinate everything. They did and it was everything I could have imagine. The food was amazing and the staff was so helpful and friendly. One of my cousins just booked them for their wedding next year. My family is so excited. I can’t say enough I wish I could give them 100 stars .

DIY Beach Wedding Fairfield

We can not Thank Pete and Catering by Christine enough. Our outdoor wedding was DIY and from the moment we met Pete we knew he was the perfect person. The food was out of this world! The whole staff bartenders and servers Everyone was just so kind and friendly. Pete coordinated the rentals and everything we needed for the day. He also recommended our DJ who was amazing! Run to book them

The best wedding we have ever been to! This is what we have heard for literally months. Everyone of our family and friends have told us The food and staff at our wedding was amazing. Our parents joined us at the tasting. We had gone to a few other caterers for a tasting and it was seriously lacking. When we went to catering by christine. Everyone, even my hard to please Father was blown away, and on our wedding day it was just as perfect. Chrissy helped with everything checking on me, my mom, my grandma. She made sure I wanted for nothing. My attendant Gabby was so sweet and made sure we kept eating and had fresh drinks all night. I wish we could do it again. If you are looking for the perfect caterer literally don’t look any further.

October 12 Wedding

Catering By Christine catered our wedding this past weekend at the Burr Homestead in Fairfield, CT. At our tasting, Pete explained the process from start to finish and noted all of our requests. Leading up to the wedding, Pete was always a phone call away to answer any question - no matter how small. On the day of, Pete and his staff arrived on time, were ahead of schedule with set up, and overall provided us with a fantastic evening. His staff were professional, accommodating, and friendly. Julianna, our day of attendant was wonderful not only to my husband and I but to our families as well. The food was amazing and received rave reviews from almost every guest. We continue to get compliments on the passed hors d'oeuvres all the way down to the vegetables! My husband and I are thrilled with our experience with Catering By Christine.

Exceptional Caterer

Pete, with the help of his very capable event coordinator, Emma, did an amazing job of catering our Evening of Celebration at the end of July in Penfield Pavilion, Fairfield. In 2020, we arranged with Pete to cater our daughter's wedding at Penfield. Because of covid our daughter was married in our back yard with very few guests and a reception we catered ourselves. Pete allowed us to postpone the 2020 wedding party which became our Evening of Celebration on our daughter's second wedding anniversary. The planning was stress free. The food was excellent. The service was seamless, efficient and professional. We highly recommend Catering by Christine.

Wedding 9/3/22 at The Burr Mansion

There are no words to describe how AMAZING Pete, Emma and all of the Catering by Christine staff was at our wedding this past weekend! Everything was beyond our expectations as our wedding visions came to life and were even better than we could have dreamed! Emma is an angel and was so attentive to my husband and I all night! Highly Recommend!!!!

We were married at The Hops Company and used Catering By Christine for the catering. My husband and I were truly blown away with how perfect the day was. Throughout the entire process, Pete, Crissy and Emma made sure to make us feel settled. They really take pride in the food and service they provide. Everything was exactly as we had seen at the tasting and tasted the exact same. They made sure my husband and I really were taken care of, bringing the entire bridal party appetizers and drinks while we were taking pictures. I noticed them going up to my grandparents offering them drinks and to get them dinner from the buffet for them. These are just a few examples of how great the service was. Months later, people are still talking about how great of a wedding it was, but they talk especially high of the food and service provided by Catering By Christine. Highly highly highly recommend their services!!! Thank you again Pete, Crissy and Emma for all you did to make sure the day was our dream come true!!!

Amazing food, service, and support!

Catering by Christine made our wedding so special! They were incredibly responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding. They have so much experience that we felt confident the day would go off without an issue. We had several special requests (including a frozen cocktail as a signature drink) that they were able to accommodate easily. Cocktail hour went smoothly and the hors d’oeuvres were plentiful. The main courses come out quickly and our guests were raving about how much they enjoyed their meals. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and there was never a line for drinks. The stuff made sure that the night went smoothly and everything was set up and broken down quickly. Pete was on hand that day to make sure everything went smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with Catering by Christine and would recommend them to anyone looking for a Caterer who goes above and beyond for their couples.

Incredible!!

1st off- the food was unbelievable..our guests still haven’t stopped raving about it! The servers were very attentive. Pete was incredible to work with- we postponed our wedding and changed our venue, he was always understanding and flexible. He even hooked us up with our rental company (abbey rental). I highly recommend Catering by Christine! They won’t disappoint!!

The Best!!

My husband Brian and I were married recently at Penfield Beach. Catering By Christine went above and beyond for our guests and us, making our day more than a dream. From the initial point of contact they were professional, responsive and reassuring. Our tasting was the exact of what was served to all 140 of our guests. Guests are still raving about the food, bar and service. Emma our point of contact for the day really took our vision and made it happen. Her constant smile, calm composure and reassurance allowed Brian and I to fully enjoy our day and our guests. Her gentile reminders to eat and drink were so necessary as the nerves and excitement took over our minds. The appetizers were amazing and fun, something my guests were so impressed by. For dinner we chose to do a dual plate of filet and salmon and it was a total success. It was served within 15 minutes allowing more time for dancing. I highly recommend Catering By Christine for your big day; you won’t regret it!!!!

Amazing Customer Service

I am writing this review as a thank you to both Crissy and Pete for being SO responsive and so understanding with my budget needs for my wedding. Me and my fiance did not end up using the venue we initially planned on, which required a caterer to be hired, but before we ended up making the decision to find another venue, Pete and Crissy were SO accommodating to our needs and budget that we were about to reconsider but we then went over the guest count and so it exceed the venue space limit. You can tell that they really value their clients and prospective clients and will go above and beyond to make your special day as stress free and enjoyable as possible. Thank you both for spending so much time working with me and I have already recommended you to a few friends who are looking for caterers in the area!!!

My husband and I were married on September 27 and used Catering By Christine. Our experience with them is something that truly made our fairytale a fairytale. Pete and Crissy were so accommodating allowing us to really personalize our menu and our bar options. They really helped facilitate in our planning and coordination for the day of. My husband and I are foodies and we were so impressed with everything! My guests with similar love for food were also raving about the food. The appetizers were so tasty and plentiful! We did a plated dinner and it was quick and professional. Although my husband and I never had to go to the bar because of our personal attendant, our guests were never waiting on a drink. Because of all the work Catering By Christine and team did, my husband and I were really able to enjoy our wedding day!!

The food is unbelievable!!

Pete is wonderful to work with! His staff handled all of the decorating and arranging at Candlelight Farms. The food is unbelievably delicious - we received so many compliments of the presentation of the hors d’oeuvres and how delicious the meal was! Buffet style is the way to go! The mashed potatoes served in martini glasses were a huge hit! I cannot thank Pete and his waitstaff enough, Adriana (mine and my hubby’s personal server) was so attentive and made sure we were fed and hydrated! Thank you, thank you!! Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed!!

Try Them For Yourselves!!

This past weekend Catering By Christine catered our wedding. In the beginning of the planning process we were overwhelmed with the to do list regarding our backyard wedding. That was until Catering By Christine stepped in. They answered questions we didn’t even know we had and put us at ease with everything. Their professionalism regarding the details was out of this world. The food at our tasting was exactly what was served to every single guest at our 180 person wedding. Besides the presentation being picture worthy, the taste and quality was even better. Before you decide on your wedding date, check the availability of Catering by Christine, because you definitely want them to cater your wedding. Beyond having absolutely amazing food, they are also crucial to helping you plan and organize your day. We worked specifically with Pete, who helped orchestrate the entire day for us. Before the wedding, Pete and the Catering by Christine team gave us a spectacular tasting to help us plan our menu at a time that fit in our crazy schedule. We were blown away by the amount and quality of appetizers we were able to provide to our guests, and the entire team was willing to work with us to create custom dishes, even if they hadn’t done them before. Our venue (Branford House in CT) required us to bring in rentals, which Pete seamlessly facilitated on our behalf. His experience working at that venue numerous times before truly showed on the day itself. Pete personally helped set up the ceremony and reception space, and he ensured that our reception was exactly what we wanted. And this was all before the amazing food came out. Our assigned personal attendant, Emma, was a positive fixture of the day. She made sure that we, our wedding party, and our family had everything we could want. Our entire wedding party has commented on how enthusiastic and accommodating Emma was to us throughout the event. The Catering by Christine team’s experience and professionalism was clear, as they made the day run as efficiently and smoothly as could be. We never expected that our cater could fulfill so many crucial roles for us that day, and we never had to worry about any details on the day itself. Many of our guests, weeks after the wedding, have continued to reach out to us and said that their meals was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. We sincerely hope to go to an event catered by them again! Catering by Christine was amazing! Pete from Catering by Christine was very helpful and made sure that the food for our wedding was exactly what we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a personal attendant at our wedding that made sure that the wedding party, my husband and I always had food and drinks whenever we wanted them. They are able to accommodate food allergies and dietary preferences. One of our guests was only able to eat liquids, and Catering by Christine made sure that he always had a wonderful selection of delicious soups to choose from. The food was artfully presented and was exactly what we wanted.

We worked primarily with Pete from Catering by Christine. We got married in New Haven, but live in NY, which made planning a challenge at times, but Pete was so kind and flexible in the times he met with us for our tastings and made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. He treated not only myself and husband with extreme respect and professionalism, but my parents as well, who had a few special requests. Everything at the tasting was so delicious, it was difficult to narrow it down, and the day-of was no different. We were so pleased with not only the presentation of the food at cocktail hour and dinner, but the taste as well. An amazing value for the services he and his staff (who were fun, professional, and efficient) delivered. I remember him telling us at our walk-though that our job was to relax and have the time of our lives and he and his staff would take care of the rest. He truly delivered, and we are so grateful to have found Pete and Catering by Christine.

Pete was nothing short of amazing. He worked with us right from the beginning of our wedding planning process. He isn't just a caterer--he also serves as a coordinator assisting with timeline of events, organizing etc. He made himself available more than once to sit down with us and answer any questions we had along the way. Catering by Christine's food is absolutely outstanding. The list of hor devours was endless and took us days to even decide on our menu. Guests raved about the food being delicious and the portion sizes being large. Guests said "it was the best salmon they've had in their entire life." What also made us have a great experience was having two staff members (Emma and Tiffany) right by my husband and I's side literally the entire wedding to assist us in getting anything we may need, always making sure we had a drink in our hand, keeping us on schedule etc. They even helped us during pictures with poses, fixing my veil..the list could go on-these ladies were truly amazing! Food is one of the biggest components of having a special wedding to remember and Catering by Christine we can truly say will make sure everything turns out perfect-just the way everyone hopes their special day will be! Catering by Christine was absolutely amazing. They have done so many weddings at Lighthouse Point Park and did an exceptional job for our wedding day. From the beginning they were great to work with, and were very flexible to work within our budget. We had multiple tastings ahead of our day to ensure the menu was everything we wanted. The day of, we had rain, and they moved the ceremony inside. Their set up was beyond anything I could have imagined, and I'm actually glad for the rain because the pictures from the ceremony were amazing. Their service was also unbelievable. Every person was on top of their game. Specifically we had Tiffany attending to my husband and me, and she was great. She made sure we ate our dinner and even packed desserts to go for us. Cooking for such a large group takes skill, and our dinner was fantastic. All of my guests raved about their meals. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Catering by Christine, book them and you will not be disappointed.

I LOVED Catering By Christine! I had my wedding in August 2016 at Lighthouse Point Park. My husband Gary and I were so pleased with the outstanding service! The staff was so friendly and welcoming! Everyone had a smile on all night. Gary and I did not have to lift a finger. Our Attendant, Adriana, was attentive and really went out of her way for us. Every time we turned around a drink was in our hand. When we were taking pictures during cocktail hour, appetizers kept coming the whole hour and half to not only Gary and I, but our entire wedding party! The food was to die for! All of our guests ranted and raved about the delicious mac and cheese, scallops and bacon, thai chicken and pineapple, and so much more! Also, we had a raw bar during cocktail hour that was out of this world. The entire ocean was served at our wedding from clams, oysters, and shrimp. The presentation was phenomenal! They set up boats where they displayed the food, with plenty of lemons and cocktail sauce. For dinner we had the surf and turf with lobster and steak. My guests are still complimenting the food and service. For dessert we had a Venetian table where there were an assortment of cookies and pastries. Not only that, but we had an ice cream bar with a variety of Gary and I's favorite candies. Everything went off without a hitch, it was a dream come true!

My husband and I got married in July and chose to use Catering By Christine. To this day I can't believe how amazing everything was. Everything I had imagined came together with the friendly staffs help. The attention to detail on the staffs part was incredible. The service was perfect, making sure I was quenched and full at all times of the day/night. All my guests are still raving about how the food was out of this world. The bar lines moved quickly and everyone was surrounded by the wait staffs smiling faces. We had a person on us all night to make sure everything was going exactly how we wanted it. Pete promised everything would be taken care of and he couldn't have been more right. We will definitely be using Catering By Christine and staff for our future events. They are a 105/100!!!! Thank you Pete and staff for an amazing day!!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Pete and Catering by Christine for our August wedding. From the beginning, Pete promised me a beautiful wedding and told me not to worry about anything. He and his staff more than delivered and I could not have been happier with the results. Their professional, attention to detail and commitment to service resulted in a beautiful, well executed, smooth day.

While the entire menu was delicious and so elegantly presented, we highly recommend the brisket, bacon wrapped shrimp, macaroni and cheese and salmon. Those dishes received a lot of praise the night of and we continued to get a ton of compliments days after.

We would also like to say what a pleasure it was to have Adriana around, our personal attendant for the day, to make sure we were well fed and well hydrated. She was super sweet and very attentive. What a great service!

Thank you Pete and your entire staff for everything that you did to make our special day memorable for us and all of our guests!!! We will highly recommend you to anyone who asks!!!

Catering by Christine was just phenomenal. I got married June 20, 2015 and the service was very professional and very smooth. We ended up getting rain for an outdoor wedding but Pete and his crew were able to set up inside without a hitch. And the food. When we originally tried them I thought it was the bomb, now all my guests agree with me as well. Makes me wish they had a restaurant. But on a serious note, I was very pleased with his service. Pete promised I would eat and delivered. He promised to keep in contact throughout planning, he delivered. Even when I had small issues at the wedding, he was able to keep everything moving smoothly. Coming from a big Latino family, he was able to not only cater to our tastes, but to our time and that means a lot to me. I would highly recommend this business. Pete and company, thank you again for the wonderful night. Ariane and I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I hired Catering by Christine to provide cocktail hour and dinner service for our wedding reception on June 27 at the Darien Community Association. They were extremely helpful and easy to work with for the entire process. We booked them about a year in advance and our phone calls and emails were always answered promptly whenever we had a question. They were even able to make a few last minute changes to accommodate our guests celebrating Ramadan.

Pete worked with us to come up with a selection of drinks, meals, and hors d'oeuvres that fit our budget. In addition to passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, we offered a plated meal with four options (Beef, Chicken, Fish, and Vegetarian) on the RSVP card. All of the meals were served to our 107 guests within 8-10 minutes of dinner starting. The guests all raved about the quality of the food days after the event (pro tip - get the lobster mac and cheese)! Dessert and coffee was served by the staff from a single station and the line moved incredibly quickly. At the end of the night clean up was completed in 15-20 minutes.

I also want to commend Tiffany, the manager for the day, on her professionalism. She arrived about 30 minutes before scheduled to check out the venue and paid close attention to all of the details I told her about. When we arrived after the wedding everything was set up and looked beautiful!

The reviews for Catering by Christine speak for themselves, they are fantastic!! There are so many parts to a wedding, but only a few are “critical” components necessary for success; catering is definitely one of them. Catering by Christine delivered in a big way to ensure that our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven was an enormous success. Our guests were full of compliments about the food, the presentation, the staff, everything.

We had a variety of foods that were all a huge hit from Chinese stir fry and past stations to the prime rib carving station, the hors d'oeuvres, soups that were to die for (lobster bisque and New England clam chowder), and a cheese spread that was devoured. The way they ran the serving stations was seamless – no lines, no gaggle of people, top notch efficiency!

The bartenders were competent and knew how to make a variety of drinks, offered several beer options, as well as our signature cocktail. There were never lines, the bartenders moved quickly and were often ahead of the game, remembering people’s orders from their previous drink. As the bride and groom, we were assigned personal butlers who made sure we were never hungry, never without a drink, and always catered to throughout the night.

Catering by Christine is a family run place, operated by Pete and his wife Christine. We worked with Pete for the majority of our experience and we were very pleased with his professionalism, ability and willingness to work with us on everything from price to food choices and recipes to all the little details we wouldn’t have even thought of without his guidance. We are forever grateful to Pete and his staff for delicious food and stellar service! We undoubtedly made the right choice with Catering by Christine. In the roughly ten months working with Pete, together we made a very memorable night for us and all of our guests and a friendship with Pete that will last beyond our wedding day.

Catering By Christine provided us with an exceptional experience that deserves a 10 star review. Our communications with Christine and her team were prompt and thorough from the start. We had the pleasure of meeting the staff and working through the logistics of how operations would be conducted on our wedding day. Christine also provided us with a variety of food tastings to gauge which options would best fit our needs.

Wow...I can't say enough good things about Catering by Christine! They did such an amazing job at our wedding!

Pete and Crissy are great to work with. They are responsive, attentive, detail oriented and friendly. Their staff is equally amazing and were wonderful to work with at our wedding.

We hired Catering by Christine to cater our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT and I must say that Catering by Christine knows that venue by heart. They were so easy to work with!

But let's get down to the heart of a caterer...the food...it was absolutely fantastic! We've received many compliments from friends and family saying how delicious everything was. But it wasn't just the food that made catering by christine great. Pete really knows how to run an event smoothly. When it came down to the day of the wedding he was part caterer and part wedding coordinator. He definitely ensured we had a smooth day.

I have no hesitations to give Catering by Christine my highest recommendation. They have a great business and are just great people!

Having planned our wedding for over two years and never fully being able to envision it, the day couldn't have gone better. After worrying and being reassured by Pete and Crissy to not worry, I could not thank them enough for what they did. Everything flowed perfectly from the delicious food to the sweetest servers ever, I could not be happier. Everyone paid such close attention to all the things I didn't even think about to make it all come together. I can't put into words how great everything went because of Pete and his teams hard work. Their staff was just so thoughtful and such hard workers. We hired Catering by Christine for our wedding in June and were blown away with their service from the moment we started working with them! We met with Pete and Crissy soon after we got engaged and were very impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to meet all our wedding needs. Our wedding venue was a blank slate so we need to bring in ALL of our rentals. Catering by Christine provided all of our rentals and Pete really knows what you will need. He sat down with us several times and walked us step by step through the contract and what the wedding day timeline would be. It was very helpful to meet with him. He is GREAT at what he does!

Catering By Christine is the best! Working with Crissy made everything run so smooth. I sent numerous emails with all kinds of crazy questions and she was very patient and responsive. The staff was very professional the day of our wedding. The food was amazing! We got tons of compliments.
From start to finish, Catering By Christine was great to work with! Chrissy and Pete were very organized and professional every step of the way and the food is delicious!! We held a reception in my parent's backyard and they were happy to come out and figure out a layout for the tent, and set everything up, the food was amazing and they were there for our every need the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day! My husband and I hired Catering by Christine for our daughters wedding at Lighthouse Point Park after interviewing a few other caterers in the area. From the moment we met Pete we felt at ease knowing that what we envisioned as the most special day of our daughters life and what we wanted for our guests was not a problem for Pete and he assured us over and over that it would be spectacular. The vision was perfect on that day. Everything was just as we planned and Pete made it happen. The only problem being parents of the bride is that we were so busy greeting guests and taking pictures and so excited that we forgot to taste all of the spectacular ourdourves. Our guests made it a point to tell us just how wonderful everything was from the sushi bar to the raw bar. They are still raving about this wedding as being the best wedding they have ever attended. We had our wedding last weekend and haven't stopped getting compliments on the food. Everyone was obsessed with the presentation of the appetizers and how delicious they were. There was plenty to go around and the staff was great and on top of everyone's needs. The main courses were plentiful and filled your entire plate. Also delicious. Then there's the bar not just a table in the corner but a big bar set up (looks like a bar) where the drinks flowed all night with anything you could want. Everyone loved being able to get their go to drink without having to settle for a substitute. I worked with Pete Biondi and he was great. He kept us at a comfortable figure when giving us a proposal and still gave us everything we wanted. We will always use Catering by Christine's for any event going forward.

Our food was amazing! We will forever sing Pete and Christine's praises to friends. Our venue was one with no kitchen or cooking equipment, yet Catering by Christine still set up their own kitchen and cooked everything for our wedding fresh on site. Everything they made was absolutely perfect, and all of our guests were so pleased, as were we. Pete and Christine were so easy to work with from day one. They customized a menu for us, and set up an amazing complimentary tasting for us that has us booking them for our wedding on the spot. They were available for questions throughout the whole planning process, the met with us at our venue, and they took care of set-up - including our centerpieces and our display tables. My husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about on the day of our wedding because Pete and Christine had it all under control. It was so nice not to have to stress about anything the day of. We even had to add a guest last minute the morning of the wedding, and a quick call to Christine was all that was needed to take care of it. We would recommend them in a heart beat for any wedding or event. They are simply amazing!

From the proposal, tasting and our wedding day everything was extremely personalized to our taste. We were able to choose exactly what we wanted to have served on our big day and everyone was raving about the food at the wedding and continues to rave about it till this day. They were also very flexible on the day of. Due to weather we had to move our ceremony and cocktail hour space and they worked with the venue coordinator after checking in with myself and the groom to make the plan B spaces look beautiful. We also got all the tables, chairs and linens through them and they did a fantastic job setting up and positioning all the tables and chairs to create a great ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space. Beautiful space, great staff, amazing food! For sure recommend it!

The tasting was a wonderful experience, and from that moment on, we knew we had found our caterer. They helped us create a menu that our guests will never forget! Everyone was raving about the food all night long. Our menu included a spectacular cocktail hour featuring delicious passed hors d'oeuvres, a raw bar, and incredible cheese, antipasto and fruit displays that tasted as good as they looked! These caterers are the best! Pete and Crissy were so responsive to our requests and even returned calls to us while they were on vacation! Now that's service! I cannot say enough good things about them - Price, food quality and service all played a key role and they nailed it! Pete and the services provided by catering by Christine are what made our wedding the FABULOUS event that it was! Our reception was at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven and we had a carnival theme. Catering by Christine was better than we could have ever imagined. From the moment we met Pete through the end of reception, Pete and his staff could not have been any better. Compliments from everyone attending on presentation, delicious food, excellent staff and more. Pete assured us all along that we would not have anything to worry about and we didn't - he did it all with our florist, DJ, videographer, etc. We had a huge party and Pete answered every question and concern and made it better! My wife and I gave our daughter and son-in-law a beautiful weeding day. Catering by Christine was a very big part of the success of that day. Peter Biondi (Christine's husband and partner) told us several times that the catering would be perfect.HE WAS 100% CORRECT!
Catering by Christine took care of everything from the rental of tableware glassware and linens to the final clean-up. Their waitresses, bartenders and chefs were clean cut, professional, courteous, top shelf!
The presentation was spectacular, the food was full flavored and delicious and our drinks were prepared as requested.
Peter was very flexible in the year long planning of this event and readily available for consultation and changes to our menu
Our catering budget came in on schedule. We highly recommend this business and would definitely use them for future needs.

Pete did a FANTASTIC job on our wedding!!! We had nothing but compliments on how good the food was and how good everything looked! He did great with meeting with our budget and when we asked for things that weren't on his menu he made them and they were fantastic! He was great about meeting with us several times and answering any questions we had. He even did our morning after breakfast and he set up such a beautiful spread with an omelet station and mimosas! Food was great! We (the bride and groom) had a personal server that waited on us all night. We got many complements on the food especially mashed potato bar and Ice cream sundae bar. They worked well with the DJ and Photographer and venue.

My first caterer disappeared and out of the blue Crissy emailed me a few weeks before my wedding to see if i was all set, I ended up meeting with Pete 2 weeks prior to my wedding and we went there to discuss pricing and while there he made us tons of food which was sooo delicious. We then met a week before my wedding at my venue and signed paperwork and paid. They were such a last min sign on and were so flexible since it was last min. I told them my budget and they made up a menu and met it. They also took care of all the rentals for me. It was such a pleasure working with Pete and our guests still talk about how much they loved the food. The presentation was incredible!! Highly recommended from both of us and our guests!! They were such a life saver. I thought i was going to have no food at my wedding but instead it turned out incredible!

Great service

We just got married this past weekend and the food and service provided by Christine's was great! We got so many compliments on our dinner choices and the cocktail hour apps were great too. The staff made sure I was well taken care of and got to try everything as I was running around taking pictures and talking to guests. The presentation of the dessert table was beautiful and bar service was quick and efficient. Staff also helped setup our table arrangements to make sure it looked exactly how we wanted. Would definitely recommend!

Made the entire day perfect and easy!

Choosing a caterer is tough right now because the prices have become so high, but let me tell you - Catering by Christine was worth every single penny and then some. They were super flexible with all of our requests, the guests all LOVED the food, the personal attendant made us feel like royalty and made sure we didn't miss out on a single thing while we did our pictures and such, and they handled so many little details that would've otherwise driven me cuckoo i.e. table rentals, setting up the centerpieces, putting up the last minute decorations when the venue opened that morning, ensuring all our gluten-free and other restricted diet guests were well taken care of, etc. The food is literally the best you'll ever find from a catering company, and their attention to detail and involvement with the things not directly related to food made then really above and beyond what you'll find elsewhere.

Fantastic Food

We received so many compliments on the food at our wedding thanks to Catering by Christine! Everything was fantastic, and Chrissy made sure my husband and I got a chance to eat plenty on our wedding day. Chrissy was on top of all the details we didn’t want to have to worry about- from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, she made sure everything went smoothly.

Catering by Christine was amazing at accommodating our request when our first caterer fell through. The staff and food were amazing and we wish we had found them earlier. Our guests cannot stop raving about the food and the service. We cannot recommend them enough. We cannot wait to experience their food and service again at our friends wedding next year.

Our wedding was July 14th 2018 and Catering by Christine truly made it a wonderful experience. Not only was the food absolutely phenomenal but the servers were all wonderful! They were great with the guests, looked very professional and our personal attendant took very good care of my husband and I. Our main contact throughout the process was Pete, Christine’s husband, and he was usually very prompt with replies (better with phone than email). He was extremely helpful and really helped bring our dream wedding to fruition.
Just wait until you try the food!!!

Speechless was my first impression. The tasting was an array set forth for a royal family and every piece was so great! Pete is wonderful and down to earth. He truly caters to you and what you want. Love them!

We booked Catering by Christine over a year before our wedding, and it is amazing how a wedding can sneak up on you. The first time we met with Pete, he wowwed us with his presentation. We had met with other caterers and it was amazing to see the difference-- Pete had us from the start. Then the wedding was essentially here, and Pete was certainly amazing at coordinating our event. At times we struggled to get in touch, but that was months out from the event, and eventually we always were able to get through. At those times I trusted in his professionalism, and knew he would create a beautiful wedding for us, and he certainly did. As we got closer and closer to the wedding date, Pete was in touch several times in the two weeks before, and we called him to make some last minute changes-- ironing out details to help make our day flawless, and IT WAS! All of Pete's staff was highly professional, Pete stepped in to help cue our bridal party to walk during the ceremony, and our personal attendant Emma was THE BEST! The food and the service both helped to make our wedding day magical. Highly recommend Catering by Christine!

My husband and I chose to use Catering by Christine for our Lighthouse Point Park reception, and we are so happy we did! From our first meeting up until our wedding day Pete assured us everything would go smoothly and exactly how we wanted, and he could not have been more right. Having done hundreds of weddings at Lighthouse, Pete and his staff know the venue inside and out. The food was amazing, presented beautifully, and our guests could not stop raving about it. We had a big wedding of about 175 people and chose to have stations, and we were worried about a line back up, dinner being served for too long, etc. Well, there was nothing to worry about because everyone got their food quickly in an organized way, and they even had time to go back for seconds! Pete also provided us with our own server who constantly made sure we had food and drinks, and made sure that we were OK in general. In terms of the actual set up of the venue, let me just say this: it took my breath away when I walked in. It looked exactly how I envisioned it to look, and was so happy with how it came out. We did have a day-of wedding coordinator that helped out as well, but we hired her mainly because we had a big wedding party, lots of vendors to deal with, etc. and I wanted someone with me for the whole day to make sure things went OK. We are so blessed to say that we had an absolutely wonderful wedding day, and Catering by Christine played a huge role in that. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer, especially at Lighthouse!

WOW we cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of Pete and his team. Our personal assistant Tiffany was COMPLETELY AMAZING and so helpful throughout the evening. The food was delicious; our guests were in awe of the beautiful presentations and you could cut the filet with a butter knife! All the other caterers we interviewed seemed horrible. We are so happy we went with with Catering by Christine and would highly recommend them. Ask for Pete and Tiffany!

Catering by Christine did everything and more for our wedding! We came to them asking for an outside the box wedding, while still elegant in terms of food! They truly delivered that! We got married in May at Lighthouse Point Park and had a cotton candy machine, popcorn machine, snow cones with liquor, a raw bar, a sushi chef, surf and turf, gelato and cute desserts. They even made a persian fruit display that we requested. Everyone has been raving about the food and the cocktail hour. We wish we could have eaten more of it, but we were busy being a bride and groom. They had someone come over to us and ask if we wanted food all the time and if we were thirsty. They even did a signature cocktail of sangria for us, which tasted great! It was so nice to not have to think about anything that day and see that they had everything under control and just as they said it would be. Pete was easy to work with and such a laid back guy. He listened and tried to truly help create our dream catering. We checked out several catering vendors before decided on Catering by Christine and I am so happy that we chose them!

My husband I got married at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT.

Catering by Christine is amazing! Peter Biondi was our contact and he really made sure everything was perfect. He fit in everything that we wanted from cocktail hour foods to the specific champagne that I wanted. He really worked on the price for us and was still able to give us the best service we could have asked for.
The staff that they had on hand for our day was amazing as well. Talk about feeling special and being taken care of. I don't know how many people said we would not have time to eat, but this staff made sure there were plates of hor'devours just for us during pictures, they had drinks ready for us ALL THE TIME, and they were so kind and helpful all night. Emma was our main person and she was spectacular! Couldn't thank her enough for taking care of us all night!
The food was phenomenal!!! We had New York Strip, Chicken Piccata, Salmon, and a Vegetarian dish. EVERYONE said the food was GREAT! My cousin the photographer even said that he didn't think he would finish his steak because it was huge, but it was SO good he could not stop eating!!! The portion sizes were amazing! The hor'devours were fantastic! We had stuffed mushrooms (our favorite and my husband doesn't usually eat mushrooms!), bruschetta (the maids of honors' favorite), assorted dumplings (another favorite of ours…SO GOOD!), and fruit kabobs (EVERYONE'S favorite). It took no time at all for those to be gone!

All in all we really could not have asked for a better catering service. They were spectacular and we recommend Catering by Christine to everyone!

We loved working with Pete to create our perfect menu. The food was absolutely amazing and we loved that we could choose from a wide variety of foods for both our appetizers and meals.

Day of went perfectly. When the 10 minute rain shower started everything (including some of our handmade displays) had been moved inside for us and at the end of the day everything was packed and ready for us to take home.

Everyone loved the food and service was impeccable.

Crissy and Pete did a fabulous job with the catering for our October wedding! Everything looked absolutely beautiful and all of our guests raved about the food. They were able to come up with a fantastic menu that fit within the budget we had set for catering and they went above and beyond for us.

We were married in September at the carousel building at Lighthouse Point Park. Pete and the Catering by Christine staff came highly recommended right from the start, they have done tons of weddings there and know it like the back of their hand. They were easy to work with throughout the whole process, besides some delays in email responses. They made all of our requests happen and the food was fantastic. We are still getting compliments on it a month later, especially on the mashed potato bar! We had a buffet style and everyone got their food quickly and loved being able to try a bit of everything instead of being locked into a meal choice, since all the options were so good! The cocktail hour we heard was unmatched and everyone loved the hour d’oeuvres. A great friend of ours fixed up a row boat for us and the staff made sure to keep it filled with beers for the entire day to cut down on lines at the bar. As the bride, my husband and I had our own personal waitress Tiffany who was beyond AMAZING. She made sure we always had a drink in our hands, appetizers to eat and got us and our bridal party anything we needed. At the end of the night she made sure to box up the remainder of our cake, wrapped our champagne flutes, cake topper, and loaded them personally into our truck that we rented for decorations (we made a ton!). They were all so professional and the service was seamless. As mentioned we made a lot of decorations for the wedding. Pete and the staff made sure to set them all up with the direction of a few family members of ours and it all came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. If you are getting married, especially at a do it yourself venue like Lighthouse Point where you have to bring in all of your vendors, don't even think twice about hiring them. They are a well-oiled machine and will make your day perfect! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Our guests are still raving!

It's true! A month after our wedding and our guests are still raving about how amazing the food was!

Catering by Christine not only makes amazing food, but it is high quality and super creative! During our cocktail hour, guests loved the playful and delicious appetizers. The beverages were absolutely superb and all of the staff was attentive and friendly. Our day-of-coordinator, Emma, was the sweetest and SO accommodating. Her excitement to be a part of our special day was so heartfelt and touching that it made everything even greater.

Our plated dinner was executed seamlessly and everyone was so happy the entire time. I still have cravings for all of the food!

We hired Catering by Christine for our wedding on 6/6/15. During the planning processes Pete and Crissy made a bunch of promises about how great our day was going to be and they kept literally every one of them. They served about 150 guests in a plated dinner and from the first person getting food to the last was no more than 25 minutes. The quality of the food was exactly like our tasting (which is to say really great). The staff was over the top the entire night making sure every guest was having a great time. The guests raved about the food (and still do 3 months later) and the drinks were served fast and all night. Pete was easy to work with and when there was a miscommunication about additional alcohol he waived the charge no questions asked.

We would highly highly recommend them.

Amazing caterer

Pete was absolutely wonderful to work with. Everyone raved and raved about our wedding food! I have heard often "I never have left a wedding feeling so satisfied". They knocked it out of the park with everything from service, presentation, and of course taste. Having changed our wedding date 4 different times, Pete was incredibly flexible and accommodating!! I will be recommending him to all my friends getting married.

Delicious food

We had a vegan menu for our wedding at my husband’s parents’ house and Catering by Christine did a great job putting together a complicated menu with many options that were not part of their normal catering lineup. Our guests loved the food and we got many compliments during and in the weeks following our wedding about how tasty all the food was and how great it was to not have the normal wedding meal of dry chicken and beef. The four entrée choices were delicious. The sides and appetizers were amazing and I think they were the best part of the menu. Pete allowed us to do two menu tastings with no extra charge to make sure we had the menu right. For the day-of, Emma was amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was attentive, took charge of the ceremony timing, made sure my husband and I always had whatever food or drink we wanted, and was just overall really nice and fun to be around. The Catering by Christine team set-up all the tables, linen, bar, place setting, etc. so we basically did not need to worry about anything happening under the tent. Since it was a large backyard wedding, they basically filled in and took care of everything that needed to be done, even if it was not explicitly their job. The only difficult part of working with Catering by Christine is that Pete is slow to respond over email since he is very busy. I recommend calling and texting him to get a quicker response. But since there is a lot that goes into wedding catering, sometimes the only way to communicate what you want is over email (so that it is documented and you can refer back to it). So I learned to just email Pete and follow-up with a text or call to make sure he received my email.

First off I want to say that in the end the food & service by the servers was amazing - the quality of food and the friendliness and attentiveness of the servers made up for some of the struggles we had on the back end.

Communication post our deposit on the services slowed down and it was very hard to get in touch with them regarding what we had to do on our end for final food & alcohol choices, rental choices, etc. There are email chains where i would contact them 4 or 5 times before I got a responce, the invoice for the food + rentals was not even finalized until a day or so before the wedding even with us asking weeks before hand how much do we owe so we could have it all paid for and squared away before the wedding. Even though 2 days before the wedding they finally contacted us regarding our final beer choices for the bar - the day of the wedding only one of the 3 beers we requested were there and the other 2 were not on our list at all. Issues with paying them resulting the final invoice not being sent to us until a couple of days before the wedding led to us sending in a check for what we believed the math to be for the food, service, rentals and the discount on rentals we were promised. This ended up somehow being different than the final invoice and a month after the wedding they were looking for the final payment to be paid when we didnt even know what we had owed.

Like I said - the food & servers were fantastic but the overall back end dealing with the business aspect of the catering was very difficult. I actually even have a friend now who is going through the same thing with them for her wedding next year and when she had seen me post about my frustrations she asked me if it was the same caterer she was working with and it turned out to be the same one- she expressed the same frustrations with the communication being a huge problem after the deposit was put down. So it does not appear to be an isolated incident with our wedding.

I had a hard time figuring out how to review Catering by Christine...

On one hand, our food was AMAZING!!! Guests are literally still raving about it. The day-of service was impeccable. The staff is really attentive and worked their butts off. We were able to easily add signature cocktails and switch out alcohols to ones we prefer.

On the other hand, dealing with the owners on the contract and pricing was pretty terrible. Lack of response, lack of detail on the contract, and lack of accountability. The final straw was when we were made aware 5 DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING that he "forgot" to add the tax on the contract meaning he wanted us to cough up nearly an extra grand on top of what was already an outrageous bill between the rehearsal dinner and reception. We kindly told them to take their tax and shove it.

They're worth it for the food and staff, but watch the owners like a HAWK!!!

We got married in September 2013 and worked with Pete mostly. If someone was to ask me if I would recommend this caterer for a wedding I would say no for the reasons following. After we went through the menu we planned on having a mediterranean plate (which was a personal request because it happens to be my favorite food), cheese plate and veggie plate with passed hors' doeurves. It was listed on our invoice but when the day came these things were omitted by the caterer for some reason. We also had listed mason jars for beer which were also missed. Another thing that was missing was cider donuts and apple cider that we requested to be served after dinner. We ended up overlooking these things because we were thankful that the food was good and the flow of the evening went well and that there were no major catastrophies. Another reason I would not recommend this company to anyone is that they did not respond to emails in a timely manner and most of the time the emails were not professional. However, I worked with another caterer for our brunch the next day who were fantastic!!

We hired Catering by Christine to cater our wedding of about 150 people on May 9, 2020. At that time weddings of that size were not allowed by the state so we postponed till September 20, 2020. We paid our deposit to hold the original date then also gave an extra payment once we moved the wedding to September. Come September the state was only allowing small outdoor weddings and we couldn’t use our venue at Penfield Pavillion in Fairfield. So when Catering by Christine gave us a price of almost $12,000.00 for the backyard wedding we realized we won’t be able to afford them twice. Pete Biondi and I agreed that a later date the following year is fine.

Fast forward to January we realized we don’t have the money for another party so we called to get a refund. Catering by Christine and Pete Biondi did not immediately respond to our calls. Once Pete finally did pick up he said “nobody got a refund from me, nobody canceled”. I explained not being able to do a big celebration because of the money and we found out my wife was pregnant. Pete responded with “I DID NOT CREATE THE VIRUS”. So now they stole our deposit and our extra payment and will not give any of it back and won’t respond to and text messages, emails or hand written letters.

Don’t use this company. They took complete advantage of the pandemic, and they took advantage of my wife and I.
