Incredible Food and Outstanding Service!

Our wedding catering was absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly executed. The team was professional, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. Guests are still raving about the food! We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication in making our wedding day unforgettable. They were the BEST vendor at our wedding!

I have received so many compliments on the food from the wedding. With many people surprised by the quality and asking if you have a restaurant they can go to, to get more of it. Everything we selected was outstanding. Thank you so much for helping make the day special for my daughter!

Delishhhhh

VESH came as part of a package with my venue (Cross Creek), and fortunately they were VERY good. They made tasting a breeze, and when I had a few oddball special guest needs, they made accommodating very easy. Like, way easier than I could have imagined. The food was pretty darn good!

The BEST food!

We catered Vesh for our wedding at The Barn at Crescent Lake on 3.14.2024 and was highly impressed! Everything was so delicious, fresh and hot. One of the top comments we got throughout the night was how delicious the food was. Everything was top notch, and I would highly recommend Vesh!

Truly amazing

Where do we begin. Everything was AMAZING! Not only were both me and my husband so impressed with all of the food, but ALL of of guests have raved about it! VESH accommodated a few guests that had dietary restrictions with no hesitancy at all which was so appreciated by those guests. The staff was incredibly friendly and everyone was eating in a timely fashion which was so important to us as well. Everything we chose for our menu options for cocktail hour and dinner were delicious! I am a very picky person and was always worried about disappointing wedding food. We have been to several weddings where the food was not good, and everyone talked about it, but not in a good way. We don't have anything negative to say because everything was truly amazing. Thank you so much Catered by Vesh for making our wedding dreams come true with the best food and service. We will 💯 recommend Vesh to anyone looking for catering services! Thank you again!

Best food at a wedding

We were in a panic when the caterer we had chosen for our wedding was no longer an option of preferred vendors from our all inclusive package. It ended up being the biggest blessing in disguise. Vesh set us up with a tasting 90 days prior, customized our offerings to accommodate our vegetarian guests and our children’s palates. Multiple guests commented that it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. And I agree. By the time we got to actually eat on our big day our food was cold, which is a casualty of war when chasing sunset shots, but even then the prime rib carving station delivered the biggest bang for our buck. It was moist and incredibly flavorful. The chicken Marsala was a tad chewy, but likely a result of the fact it had sat at our table for almost an hour. Still great flavor. And they accommodated our kids with chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese which went off beautifully. They were great to work with, super responsive and I’d highly recommend.

Phenomenal caterer with incredible food and amazing staff

There are not enough stars to give this company. When my (now) husband and I were searching for a caterer, we were looking for someone who was affordable, offered high quality food and provided superb service. Vesh Catering had all of this and so much more. My husband and I got married in Sarasota, so during the initial search for a caterer, we looked locally as we thought that would be the best way to save costs. We could not find a single caterer local to Sarasota that would include steak for less than a fortune. Upon going "back to the drawing board" many times, I recalled using Vesh for many company events when I worked in Tampa a few years ago. On a whim, I reached out to them to inquire if they cater weddings. Upon Alex and I reaching out to them and doing a tasting, we both immediately knew they were the one we wanted to cater our special day. Their food is incredible - so much so, many of our guests let us know it was "the best wedding food they've ever had" and asked for their business card to use them for future events. Now 2 weeks after our wedding, I am still receiving comments from people about how amazing the food was and wanting their contact information. Not only was the food phenomenal, Vesh's staff is professional, courteous, efficient and overall a joy to have at your event. We also used them for alcohol that included top-shelf liquor/an open bar as well as two signature cocktails that were delicious! Patty, Mark and team - you all were great and we will be using you to cater all future events! Thank you for making our day so special.

**As my mom, sister and I had to get away from guests for them to bustle my dress, one of Vesh's team members, Maria, had hors d'oeuvres plated for us ready to eat ahead of the reception since we missed cocktail hour due to taking family photos. Maria appeared out of nowhere and at the perfect time - it was as if you snapped your fingers or she just read your mind! Maria and another team member also made sure to find Alex and I (as we were getting pulled in a million directions) to ask what we wanted for dinner as they would plate and serve us during dinner. Their whole team was incredibly attentive to each and every guest throughout the evening and it was noticed by many.

So many wedding guests said “this is the best wedding food I’ve ever had!”

We ordered NY strip steak, penne pasta pomodoro with a side of carrots, scalloped potatoes. For our Hors D’oeuvres, we had a cheese display, pulled pork sliders, and spring rolls. They were all so amazing! I did not hear one negative comment from any of our guests

Delicious!

VESH made my wedding memorable to my guests because the food was so good! As the bride, I didn't eat a ton, but my guests raved to me about how delicious everything was. Their staff was perfect and everything went smoothly. Plus, the tasting helped us choose exactly what we wanted and it was wonderful!

Incredible Food

We cannot recommend Vesh enough! We are big foodies so we were definitely worried about the food not being good at the wedding and after we went for our tasting, we knew we found the perfect place. We submitted our choices for the tasting and were delighted to have more than what we asked for upon arrival! The staff went above and beyond during our tasting to make sure we were well catered to and to go over our choices and any changes we wanted to make. Since our wedding, we have heard nothing but raving reviews from our guests. We opted for 4 hors-d’ouvres: chicken sate, pulled pork sliders, bruschetta, and the crab cakes. Our main courses were the bourbon glazed salmon and the rosemary chicken, and our sides were the grecian potatoes and the mixed veggies. They also had bread and salad and we chose ranch and the AMAZING mango pineapple vinaigrette. Vesh is a must for your wedding!

Knocked our socks off delicious!!

Vesh catered dinner for our wedding reception- mind blowing! I never expected food from a caterer to be that scrumptious! We come from a family of cooks (borderline food snobs) and they know good cookin’!! Everyone ranted and raved about how fresh and tasty the food was! Thank you, Vesh! Excellent food was my top priority and you all nailed it!

Delicious, divine, delectable!

I can't brag enough about how delicious the food at my wedding was. The appetizers were exquisite and dinner was fantastic! I would be happy to book with them again in the future. VESH catering managed to make an eggplant parmesan that even I enjoyed and that's saying something!!

Catering with Personable Service and Impeccable Food!

We cannot say enough about our experience with Vesh Catering for our daughters wedding in March 2020. Vesh Catering came highly recommended to us by Stonebridge (our venue) so we call "Marie to set up a tasting. Our tasting experience was amazing from the moment we arrived, where we were so warmly greeted, to a beautiful set table, continuing through an amazing selection of appetizers, entrees and side items. The tasting was very personable. Marie and Chef Mark's interaction with us through each food item that was presented, confirmed to us that Vesh Catering was definitely the catering company that we had strived to find for such a memorable event. We especially enjoyed, and would recommend Wild Cranberry Ginger Glazed Meatballs, Artichoke Dip with Crispy Flatbreads, and Applewood Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts for appetizers. For Entrees the Chicken Franchaise, and Beef Tenderloin (very tender) were amazing and the carving station was a great addition. Everyone really enjoyed the AuGratin Potatoes, and having a separate chicken fingers/mac n cheese children's meal was definitely a plus! To conclude, the Herloom Tomato Bisque Shooters with mini Gouda Grilled Cheese were an outstanding late night bite! Thank you Vesh Catering for such a great experience!

Amazing food, amazing consistency!

From the very beginning VESH was so professional and paid close attention to what we were looking for! They gave us so many options and the food tasting was the best one I experienced. They made is so special for my Mom and Maid of Honor and we all fell in love with the food! Chef came out and introduced himself and Marie was quick to respond whenever we had questions. I had so many compliments on wedding night with our food. It was just as delicious as it was at our tasting. Make sure you choose VESH if you like consistency and delicious food! They will make your day wonderful!

Excellent service

Vesh was able to provide so much of what we needed before the big day. Once it arrived, the food was amazing and the service was phenomenal. The servers were very observant of the room and assisted some of the elderly guests with making plates when they saw that they were struggling.

Wonderful people to work with and fantastic service and menu,

Vesh catered my granddaughter’s wedding and they took a lot of the stress away through their experience, responsiveness, helpful staff who pitched in and helped me the day of the wedding. They have numerous menu choices and all of their food is wonderful. Many guests at the wedding commented that they had been to quite a few weddings, but the food provided by Vesh was the best they ever had! Honestly, I am so pleased with the total experience that I highly recommend them. Choose them and you will not be disappointed.

Food should always be tops at a wedding, they did better!

Was my family difficult? You bet, in all the best ways really. The first tasting brought my family around so fast it got smooth like butter after that. Even better though, the day of the wedding it looked and tasted fresh, like it hadn't spent anytime transporting to the wedding venue. I don't know how they did it, magic. The vegetarians loved their creative alternative dish, and the one guy allergic to mushrooms (which is everything we picked initially) also enjoyed his food (he didn't die!). We went Beef, Pasta and Potatoes without a vegetable in site and we all loved it!

Everyone keeps talking about how good the food was at our wedding ♥

I highly recommend using Catered by Vesh at your wedding!! They are wonderful, professional, and easy to work with. There were no mishaps whatsoever to report. We brought my mother and our friend along with us for the tasting and we were all blown away by the high quality of the food. I think we were supposed to just take a couple bites of each dish but it was so good we ate almost everything that was put in front of us. After trying many appetizers, we finally chose the chicken potstickers, mini pulled pork sliders, classic bruschetta, and cranberry ginger glazed meatballs. Mike (the groom) loved the crab cakes so much during the tasting, so even though we didn't end up selecting them, Vesh had four crab cakes specially prepared just for Mike on the wedding day! For the reception, we had a plated dinner with four options for guests: Chicken Marsala, Beef Tenderloin, Vegetarian Portobello Steak and Vegan Portobello Steak. We got so many compliments on each of the dishes, they were all hits. I wish I could go back to that night and eat my portobello steak again, writing this review is making me crave it. Thank you so much Cassandra and Vesh for the perfect dinner! ♥

p.s. Bringing a tray of appetizers to us while we were doing our post-ceremony photoshoot was such a thoughtful touch! Even though we had to miss the cocktail hour for our photo session, we didn't have to miss out on the delicious appetizers we had picked.

Tasting for wedding went very well and the staff was available to answer all questions and go over the ingredients of the food.

Cassandra was excellent and the rest of the staff were very kind. The food is absolutely amazing, and you are able to tell Vesh catering how you want the food (less salt, more salt, etc).

Simply amazing

It started with our tasting where from that initial day we were absolutely blown away. There were so many delicious choices and the flexibility was second to none. We felt that Chef Mark and the team thought of us as their largest client from the love and detailed explanation and professionalism on our upcoming meal. We received many compliments on the food and the service that night. We loved the staff as they again treated everyone like Royalty. We can’t express enough praise for the entire team, the detailed presentation and of course the amazingly delicious food for our special day!! Thank-you Vesh for giving us a 5 star meal to our 5 star night!!

We absolutely loved our food tasting to determine what to serve at the wedding. They were extremely helpful and flexible with our requests. Every time I sent an email about our menu, I received an email back within 24 hours. The food was fantastic. The guests at my wedding all complimented the food and the pasta, shrimp, and spinach artichoke dip especially are still talked about today!

Amazing food for our wedding

Catered by VESH came as a preferred vendor with our venue and they KILLED IT! From the moment we booked our tasting to the time our wedding came around we were never left waiting or with a cold dish. Cassandra and Mark were phenomenal. We worked together to create a custom menu with items that were unique to us, but also all within budget! Cassandra was a maven at making sure we got everything we wanted. she took into account any dietary restrictions, allergies, or specialty items we wanted to include. When wedding day came we were completely happy with everything. It all tasted delicious, looked wonderful, and all our guests only had complimentary things to say. We picked an eclectic mix of food, but it all came together - Chicken Marsala and Pork Florentine have both! Potatoes and pasta - sure! Everything came together beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing.

Amazing caterer. Family from New York compared it to top NYC catering companies. We loved working with Patty and her staff. Food was delicious, friendly staff. Overall excellent!

Vesh catering was by far superior for our wedding! From the first email to Patty, to the selection of the menus and easy changes by chef Vesh to the service by the captain Alicia and the crew, simply first rate! The food was delicious and everyone complimented how delicious it was! The services provided made it effortless for us and they took all the stress and anxiety away! The food tasting experience was amazing! From the very beginning I was impressed. We had our own little private dinner table set up fancy. The food is amazing! Food was absolutely delicious! If you think you want to go with Vesh be sure to try their spinach artichoke dip, simply to die for. They have great options for every diet and diet fad. Service was terrific.

Food was amazing! We had so much fun at our tasting. They treated us like a king and queen. I even brought my 10 year old son and they made him just as important. We had a great selection. We picked fish and steak, potatoes, vegetables and I can’t remember the rest. But everyone made it a point to tell us how great the food was. We were very happy. Wedding food is usually so blah but the flavors and juices were fresh as if they made it right there!
I would definitely recommend them. Service and food were both excellent.

VESH was such a pleasure to work with. They made the menu planning part of our wedding so easy. They were professional and so friendly. When we went for our food tasting, they accommodated our requests to try certain things and made the experience fun (and tasty!). Our guests at the wedding LOVED the food. Catered by Vesh catered the Women-n-Charge Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on September 30th and it was fantastic. The main meal was Hawaiian Chicken and it was so delicious. We received so many compliments on the dinner and the service. We had over 150 people and Catered by Vesh got everyone through 2 buffet lines in record time. Chef Mark and his staff were amazing!!! We hired Catered by Vesh for a wedding in June and everything turned out perfect. Not only is their food awesome, but the pride in their work shows throughout with the details in the presentation. We received many compliments on the food and the service. Cassandra is on top of everything with menu planning and is extremely patient and very responsive. Angel is so great to work with, he had every detail covered. We would definitely recommend them. When we went in for our tasting we were blown away everything tasted so good hard to decide. But with weddings you always have that fear of the typical food its to dry, no flavor, cold, or whatever it usually is, let me tell you what not at our wedding it was just as amazing as it was when we went in for our tasting that was one of the biggest complememts we got was the food. We even had one guest who ate before because of all the other weddings shes been to even her own experiences and regretted it because she wasnt hungry but that didnt stop her. Chef Mark Vesh, owner of Catered by Vesh did an amazing job with the menu and decor at our reception at The Groves Golf and Country Club! I received so many compliments on the food. VESH was great to work with. Not only had a great variety to choose from, the food was delicious and they worked with us to tailor it for our preferences (i.e. extra broccoli, spinach in the salad. They also had a fruit and cheese platter that didn't cost extra and coffee which really made our decision easy from the rest. It's the little things :)

The food was absolutely delicious. EVERYONE made it a point to come up to us and tell us or let us know the next day how much they really enjoyed it. I loved loved loved the mac n' cheeses and the jalapeño bacon cornbread. My husband loved the brisket. I honestly would recommended Mark Vesh, his entire staff, and company to anyone looking for AMAZING food. I can't wait to use them again in the future.

I am so glad we went with VESH Catering for our wedding dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and all of our wedding guests are STILL raving about it! The baked potato bar was awesome and I highly recommend it with the prime rib. We were even able to customize the chicken and the sauce which turned out divine!

My wife and I decided to go with them for our wedding. To start, the food and service was absolutely fabulous. So incredibly easy to work with, and the level of accommodation we received was unbelievable. Such a smooth and simple process to taste and choose our options; of which you literally cannot go wrong. We had 60 guests at our wedding and practically everyone there went out of their way to compliment the food. EASILY the best food I've ever eaten that was catered. We picked catering by VESH through our all inclusive package act Cross Creek Ranch. I'm so glad we did! The food at our wedding was AMAZING!! Everyone kept saying how delicious is was and going back for seconds! Usually, wedding food is bland, lukewarm and under seasoned. The food at our wedding was hot, flavorful and seasoned perfectly!

For cocktail hour we had the coconut shrimp and meatballs, both were awesome! For dinner, we had the salmon, chicken marsala, roasted potatoes, roasted vegetables, rolls and organic mixed greens with raspberry vinaigrette. Yum! The chicken and salmon were so moist, not overcooked at all. It tasted like we had a chef cooking the food right there for everyone!

The tasting for our wedding dinner menu was delicious too! We had a hard time choosing what we wanted because everything was so tasty! They don't skimp either, we were very impressed with the quality of the food! I would definitely pick them again, thank you so much!

Vesh catered the food for our wedding at Cross Creek Ranch and it was AMAZING! Cassandra and Chef Vesh were both super super nice and accommodating through out the entire process, and were willing to make any small changes we wanted, like taking a sauce from one dish and adding it to another. To be honest -- I was not overly impressed with the food after our tasting. However, come wedding day, our food was outstanding! We received so many compliments, and I ate my dinner (surprising I know) and I even ate a second dinner later that night ha! I can not say enough wonderful things, you will be very impressed!

FREAKING FANTASTIC!! I have been to and been in so many weddings where the food was so-so, but this food was amazing. We had bacon wrapped chestnuts and mini pork sliders, as well as cheese, fruit, and crackers for appetizers. For the main course we had chicken alfredo, beef a' jus, scalloped potatoes, and vegetables (with a roll). We had so many compliments on our food and loved every bit of it. I highly recommend this business.

Food was great at tasting and at wedding. We got chicken, smoked brisket, potatoes au gratin and green beans. All of it was delicious. Chef and owner were very nice. After the tasting, we did not have to worry about anything. She confirmed the menu a few days before wedding and on wedding day, they had already arrived and were setting up by the time I got there. Catered by VESH is amazing. We struggled to find a caterer who has tasty food yet affordable till we found VESH. The food was hot, not overcooked or mushy, and was full of flavor. All of our guests commented on how tasty it was and some even had seconds! His staff was very nice and professional as well. We have absolutely no complaints. He works with you on different options to fit within your budget and was so easy to work with. Make sure you go on an empty stomach to his tastings because you will get a full fresh meal- not just tiny scoops of food that's been sitting out all afternoon.

VESH catered my sons wedding at the Groves. The food was fabulous and the staff were so helpful. Cassandra does a great job of asking all of the right questions and getting you what you need. We did one stop planning with them. The venue, food, linens, set up and clean up. Couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Chef is friendly and keeps everything running smoothly. The service staff was attentive and friendly plus the bartender made sure I always had a full glass of wine! Just want to say again how FANTASTIC the food was. Catered by Vesh provided a truly wonderful experience for my wedding guests. The food was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad to the entrees was cooked exactly the way we asked. And the guests were raving about the food.

The wait staff was professional, friendly, and attentive.

The owners Mark and Cassandra Vesh were wonderful. From the very beginning they were flexible and accommodating. They responded quickly and accurately to any changes I made. They never tried to up sell us or pressure us into a more expensive option.

The quality of the food was amazing, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone having a catered event.

Mark & Cassandra and their Barman Pete were great!
2 months later and people are still talking about the food!

Cassandra was great to work with. She was on top on things responded right away to any questions and followed up on everything and gave suggestions for the order that I would never have thought of but thank goodness she did!

Mark is really creative and understood that we wanted a menu that was full of flavor and really interesting. He was really patient and never disregarded any of our ideas. The food the night was as amazing as it was at our tasting

We had our reception at our home and Mark was able to make everything work as far as flow and the service the night was exceptional.

We love that this is a family owned local business ( we had bad experiences at other tasting with big corporate companies) and excellent value for money!!!!

We would most certainly use them again and recommend to everyone.

Everything was delicious (and I did taste everything we were serving at our wedding :) ) I typically don't expect too much of wedding entrees, I find the cocktail hour food to generally be better a lot of the time, and I was impressed by how good the steak and chicken were! (The appetizers were great too!)

We were first impressed during our tasting appointment and later a second time when the food on the day of the wedding was just as good!! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. All of our guests commented on how good everything was. I appreciate that they were able to work with me and another guest being vegetarians and made a special dish just for the 2 of us.

Vesh is flexible to work with and cooks very good food. We have used him on 2 occasions and the first time he helped us by cooking additional food during the event because we ran out! That is something that many people wouldn't do. He saved the event that year.

Mark has catered my holiday party that I host for my clients for the last 6 years. We consistently have 80-100 people and the food is always outstanding! The presentation is always beautiful as well. Mark is creative with his menu and open to ideas. His staff is always courteous and professional. I would not consider using another company for my annual party. My guests have come to look forward to what Mark and his staff are going to do next. Thanks Mark and staff!!

I felt a sense of confidence automatically upon meeting Mr Vesh that my party would be a success. He is professional and sincere in his desire to satisfy his customers. This was ultimately apparent after the event was over . My guests could not praise his delicious appetizers and buffet dinner all of which were presented beautifully. His staff was helpful, responsive and courteous. Their efforts and expertise made this a truly memorable birthday for not only my daughter but for her friends as well. I wish Mr Vesh and his staff continued success in the catering industry.

Catering by VESH was my number one pick from the very beginning. My guests kept exclaiming how great the dinner was! VESH even sent us home with a doggy bag of appetizers and the meal (knowing most bride and grooms don't have a chance to enjoy their own dinner). The food was delicious even after being reheated.

Thought the food was great. There was one dish in the tasting that I didn't care for but wanted a beef option, they suggested a tweak in how it was prepared and it was my favorite dish on my wedding day. Very elegant and delicious selections. All my guests commented on the fantastic food too!

The owner Mark is a really dedicated and professional person and his staff amazing. The day of my wedding his staff was on time. The presentation of the food was excellent. The food was delicious and warm. The guest love everything in the menu. I had some vegetarian guest and they went the extra mile to make sure they were really satisfy with the food.The staff was really attentive to every detail. I will recommend his cathering to any bride. Communication A+.

I would absolutely recommend Vesh Catering to anyone! They did an outstanding job at my beach wedding. Everyone was raving about how good the food was! The service was amazing, Angelo and Nick(?) went above and beyond to make our day perfect. I am so grateful for them. I did a destination wedding so all my planning was done from home in KC. Cassandra was great to work with and was really on top of everything. Communication was good and convenient through e-mail. Prices were very reasonable!! We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception dinner catered. They nailed both events. The set-up of tables and chairs, even food for the rehearsal, was done on the beach in the sand. Most places won't even do this! Seated/plated service was very nice. They made our event elegant and classy, just how we like it! Thanks again Chef Vesh and crew! You all were amazing!!! 5 stars all the way.
