The memories shared with our loved ones at our wedding celebration at the Castle we’re just pure magic.
Ashellee, Samantha, Alexis at the Castle smiled through answering questions, helping with options and facilitating perfect set up. Coordinator Kandace moved with non stop energy, guidance and commitment to keep everything moving smoothly and gracefully.
Culinary Visions Gene and Melinda fulfilled the exact hope of, “ Wow! The food was excellent”, not to mention the accommodating service!
DJ Paul, Bagpiper Andy and Duo Licht thrilled the guests with their individual gifts of mood and music.
Brian Anthony captured all of this magic with considerate guidance and expertise in photos that will be cherished for years to come

Best Day Ever!

I don't know where to start. From Paulette as our contact at the castle to Stacie's help on the wedding day, everything was just perfect. We used Brian Anthony Photography, Keepsakes Bouquets, Monte at New Paradigm Studios, Cakes by B and Pepper Moon for catering and they all exceeded our expectations. It was a magical day and everything our daughter dreamed of since she was a little girl!

Amazing, not stressful, beautiful!

Just got married here. Everything was perfect and I had been stressing about so many little things but realized when I got there that everything was perfectly fine and handled!! It couldn’t have been better and our family had commented “that may have been the most beautiful wedding I have seen”. Samantha the coordinator and Stephanie were amazing girls and helped make it all come together!

I had a great wedding at a great venue

Words cannot express how amazing Samantha Payne and the Castle McCulloch staff was on my wedding day. Samantha was attentive to my needs and a calming force during my hectic times. She assured me that she would handle things and she DID!!! She was always asking if we needed anything throughout the day and I could genuinely tell she cared about us. Would 1000% percent recommend Castle McCulloch for a wedding, especially with Samantha rubbing the ship.

Beautiful, magical venue

Everyone loved partying at the Castle! If you want something unique and fabulous, no other venue in NC compares. Great support, the chairs and tables are all there set up and waiting for you the day of. Just bring the food and some flowers!

Amazing unique wedding venue for our castle-themed wedding

We got married at Castle McCulloch with the intimate wedding package on November 16, 2021, and overall we HIGHLY recommend them! This venue is ABSOLUTELY beautiful, and so unique. Very helpful and friendly staff. We worked with Stephanie as our wedding coordinator, and she was pretty much always very helpful in responding to my many, many questions as the bride. The only tiny negative part of our experience is when the videographer asked 2 weeks before the wedding for a run-down of all movements during the ceremony, and I asked Stephanie if she was the right person to ask. She told me that if I wanted assistance with this, I would need to hire a full wedding coordinator. I just wish I had known there was a difference at the beginning, to avoid confusion. But overall we had an amazing experience at this wedding venue. We are SO happy we got married here. It was an unforgettable experience. Note: we got the King and Queen thrones, the beer/wine bar, and the inside door flowers added on, and they far exceeded our expectations!

This venue is awesome!!!!!!! I really enjoyed myself I am a wedding planner and my clients had their wedding here Feb 15 and they also loved it. Not only the castle but the staff there made it worth so much more. We have worked closely with Hannah and Paul McIntire and they was awesome Paul knowledge of the venue is out of this world!!! He had so much great suggestions and advice and because of him I will recommend all my clients in the area to this place. Paul is a true diamond that shines bright at Castle McCulloch!

Amazing unique venue for a killer price!

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Castle McCulloch in December 2019 and everything was beyond perfect! It was easy to contact the castle staff when planning, the venue was gorgeous, and everything was how we expected/planned! This was the perfect location for our small intimate wedding. Paulette was great at communicating quickly prior to our events, accommodating our last minute floor plan changes, and reassuring us that everything will be perfect. Our day of contacts (Stephanie for rehearsal dinner and Andrew for wedding) were both present for anything that was needed and quick to make any last minute accommodations. I would highly recommend Castle McCulloch to anyone looking for an amazing unique event venue!

Beyond Beautiful

If you want pictures and a location that you and your guests will remember forever I highly recommend this location! From booking to the actual day they kept everything easy, straightforward, reasonably priced and the location is as it seems in pictures! Absolute fairytale wedding! Staff was great and right where we needed them to be. Had everything set up and ready to go! If you ever dreamed of getting married in a castle... here is your location!

Amazing experience!

Castle McCulloch was such a beautiful venue, I would absolutely do it all over again! Paulette was great to work with and it was very easy to create what we wanted and work within a payment plan. The manager on site the night of the wedding was very friendly and worked well with the other vendors. The castle is a gorgeous backdrop for photos and an intimate setting for a smaller wedding. HIGHLY recommend!!

Amazing, Perfect, Dream venue!

You cannot go wrong with Castle McCulloch as your wedding venue! The staff is professional, responsive to emails/questions, and the facility itself it’s absolutely gorgeous! We loved this as our venue not just because the castle and grounds are gorgeous but it takes minimal decor to make your wedding a dream. Additionally the Castle’s preferred vendors are incredible...we had a dream team (Coordinating Dreams, Bennett’s Basket & Bows, DJ Paul Cordt, Magnolia Ridge Photography, Cakes by B and Culinary Visions Catering). They have worked at the castle numerous times and thoroughly enjoy working with each other and it showed as we had zero worries throughout our wedding. Our family and friends can’t stop raving about Castle MCulloch!

An Enchanted Evening

Castle McCulloch was so easy to deal with and for such a great venue we felt the price was great. We especially appreciated being able have the additional 3hr time on a separate day for photographs. Everyone from the front office to the kitchen staff were so pleasant and helpful I was always confident that they cared deeply about our wedding being perfect for us.

Perfect! Magical! Loved this place!

This place is magical. It's a castle!!! My wedding here was like a fairy tale wedding, it was everything I had imagined it to be and more. This venue is beautiful and oh so elegant. Our point of contact here was Paulette and she is great to work with. She really put in effort in making sure we had everything we wanted. The day of coordination by her staff was great too. Everything went smoothly. I literally do not have a single complaint. It was perfect!

Wedding reception

Everything was perfect, we reserved the Crystal Garden on a Thursday. Everything was clean and ready for use as the staff was supper friendly. The payment plan was extremely easy and took a lot of stress away.

Malaysia Castle helped us make sure everything was in place for our wedding with everything from making sure the order of the people in the wedding party came down she was on point and very courteous while addressing any family concerns. We would really like to thank Paul and Kellie who went beyond everything to make sure our wedding experience was everything that we could imagine and more. From rehearsal to the day of the wedding. They helped with the layout, the setting up and even helping on the timing of entering and pointed out the best places on the grounds for the best photos. In planning an express timeline wedding in six months, we discovered a treasure. Castle McCulloch and the Crystal Garden is a historic site in the Triad that accommodates an incredibly BEAUTIFUL wedding reception. The venue and price goes unmatched for the wonderful experience. The well-oiled wedding machine that we encountered made every single detail a pleasure! The Castle manager Kellie is a superb representative to make all come together for the venue. The preferred vendors with Castle McCulloch that we chose were absolute professionals at the highest level and surpassed our wedding dreams.
Taylor at Castle Catering is the tie that binds. She was our point of contact throughout the entire planning phase and she was the success of our wedding reception. I loved how she saw our vision and executed every element with elegance. Because of Taylor ‘s confidence and ability to guide, advise, and be an outstanding reference for our wedding, she will always be recalled as our guiding light! Yay, Taylor, we sincerely appreciate your professionalism and commend your tremendous talent in event planning!
Hannah with Castle Catering finished the reception strong by making sure that the event flowed smoothly and even down to the last second as we wrapped up the event, Hannah was a champ! Let me discuss the Castle Catering wedding reception dinner… YUM, absolutely delicious! Kudos to Angie and Crew and all involved in creating the edible delights. Their servers, wait staff, bartenders(Mario) all made a great impression on our guests. As I write this, I am over the moon excited that Castle McCulloch and Castle Catering are the ultimate wedding professionals working together to make our wedding reception a lovely success. I also strongly recommend attending the Castle’s seasonal Eat, Drink, and Be Married Bridal Show Expo to meet the wondrous wedding vendors in person and see the Castle in it’s glory.

I was married this past weekend at Castle McCulloch and Castle Catering was my caterer. Everything about my wedding day was a success. I loved the level of professionalism and attention to detail I received from both the venue as well as my caterer. Me and my husband both received many compliments on the food and decor. Our guests left happy and full. Our wedding day was a very special day to us and we were very happy with the services provided. I would use them again and high recommend this business to anyone in need of catering. Every aspect of my wedding was wonderful! It was such a joyous experience working with my wedding planner Hannah and the Castle Catering Staff. The food was great, decorations were beautiful, staff was very pleasant. I was very pleased with everything as a bride. Castle Catering definitely went to bat for me on the day that mattered most. I absolutely loved getting married at Castle McCulloch! I can honestly say that I had the perfect wedding. Everything was beautiful, you really don't need to spend much in decoration because the castle and its surroundings are enough! We invited 80 people so we had the ceremony in the Great Hall Patio and the reception inside the Great Hall (castle). Since we hired one of the preferred caterers (Castle Catering) we got a 30% discount (final price $3,000). We got married on a Friday night, I don't know if a Saturday wedding has a different price. The castle included tables and chairs, water and sodas, bartender, among others.
We also decided to pay for their bar service (premium beer and wine, around $1,000 for 80 guests), which was a great deal because the bar has to be in the Queen's Chambers (downstairs room), so we got that room included without having to rent it separately and paying more for it. Since we got the Queen's Chambers with the bar we decided to send our guests for appetizers there while we took pictures in the outside area.
We met for the final contract with Paulette and she was so nice and easy to work with. On the wedding day our event manager was Karen and she was great too. The only backdrop is that they don't have a bathroom in the bridal room, but you can live without it.
Our photographer was Bert Reed and he was fabulous, beautiful pictures and very helpful. Our dj Bradley was from Anything DJ. I definitely advice to go with the castle's preferred vendors because they already know each other and have great communication. Overall our wedding was around $11,200 (I purchased all the flowers and decorations for the ceremony, the bridge and the bouquets, they are really easy to make).

To begin both myself and my husband Nathan are active military and stationed outside of North Carolina. So as you can imagine trying to plan a wedding from afar and long distance can be difficult. Not at all, as for Hannah and the staff at Castle Catering they made planning super easy for us! Everything I iterated to Hannah that I wanted she made happen and paid very close attention to every single detail. My wedding day was a complete sucess and myself and Nathan couldn't have been any happier. Castle Catering did an amazing job with my wedding. Hannah helped keep me sane through the process of planning my whole wedding in the matter of months. She was very accommodating since I had a 2 plus hour drive and always responded whenever I had questions or wanted to change anything. Her expertise helped us make numerous decisions which ended up saving me so much time. The food was delicious (esp. the Mac and Cheese!!). The staff was wonderful at the wedding and I just couldn't have asked for anything more. It really came out perfect.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We were planning the wedding from out of town and so we had lots of questions over the phone. No matter who I talked with they acted like our wedding was the only one they were working on. They had great suggestions and every time I asked if they could do something they said, "We sure can." The Great Hall at Castle McCulloch was a wonderful wedding venue! We couldn't believe we found such a majestic venue close to home. Our guests said when they were at the Castle it felt like they were in Ireland! You barely need decorations since the Castle itself is beautiful. We really liked that there are so many different areas to the Castle- we had both indoor and outdoor space, guests could walk around the Castle and see the ducks and baby geese in the "moat", and the Queen's Chambers was really fun for dancing. In addition, Paulette and Gina were so nice to work with and were very quick in communications. The owner and staff at the Castle on our wedding day were also very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend the Castle!

Castle catering did an amazing job! We could not be happier we chose them to do our catering! The food was amazing and everything was flawless. The staff was very professional and friendly. They also did our cake and cupcakes for us which were soooo good! They provided everything exactly as we wanted and we are so thankful we were able to work with them for our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process they were very receptive and quick to respond to our many questions. We did a final meeting with them which helped to put our minds at ease. We would recommend Castle McCulloch to any couple interested in getting married in a beautiful castle. We did our ceremony and reception in the Crystal Garden and it was perfect. We loved everything about the castle; they were very professional and they answered all our questions. They were always accessible and we could talk with them whenever we needed in the months leading up to the wedding. We couldn't have picked a better venue.

Castle is great. Kinda on the small side, but we are having our reception at the crystal garden. The inside is beautiful. Perfect place for a cinderella wedding.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company! They were AMAZING. My (now) husband and I first encountered this company at a bridal show where their booth was so nice and their food samples so delicious, we assumed there was no way they would be in our budget. But we were so excited about them that we set up a meeting anyway. We met with the owner, Tammy, and she worked with us to fit our budget and still give us exactly what we wanted.
We worked with Tammy during the entire planning process, and she is absolutely WONDERFUL. She always responded to communications promptly (almost always the same day or the next) and met with us on several occasions. Additionally, I didn't want to do a traditional wedding cake, and when I asked her for suggestions, she offered several dessert options including a gelato cart, which was what we selected (obviously...gelato cart!!). The food at the wedding was fantastic (we're still getting compliments from our guests) and the gelato cart was a huge hit.
Tammy also did all of our flowers (my bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, the boutonnieres and corsages, and the centerpieces/aisle decor (we saved money on getting double use out of the arrangements), which were BEAUTIFUL, as were the tablescapes.
Tammy's staff went above and beyond at our wedding. Right as the cocktail hour was getting started, it began pouring down rain, and they moved everything (even decor and other things that they didn't set up) to the rain location so quickly that hardly anyone noticed that it happened. My husband and I were brought appetizers and drinks while we were doing photos, served plates with a large portion of everything from our buffet, and were brought cups of gelato while we were greeting guests. Tammy even helped bustle my dress before we were introduced at the reception! Everything was done flawlessly and we have no complaints at all.
I seriously cannot recommend this company enough!

If you are looking for a picture perfect wedding venue and would like to enjoy the outdoors with low risk the Castle Crystal Garden is perfect! Indoor dinning, covered wedding or indoor option should tears of joy arrive from heaven.
Day of things to remember...summer weddings are hot...ask that the cake come as close to on time as possible. Consider a location away from the afternoon sun...or cut it early...Our youngest noticed her sisters cake was beginning to lean and alerted the staff who quickly assisted with working in the cutting ceremony.
Use a Castle Perferred florist to assist you with decorating for your day. You will not be disappointed.
Appoint a day of coordinator to work with the Castle staff. For us, brother of the bride stepped in and made the numerous trips unloading items from cars and completing set up with the very accomodating and supportive Castle Staff.
Ask a photo skilled family member to come early and take the setup transformation photos. The venue comes together in the space of about 90 minutes and it is great to have the additional timeline photos. (Grooms family jumped in and assisted here! Thanks to Hattie!
Sending off the bride and groom. The lighted entrance is simply bueatiful at night and ideal for the final party photos. We had several 2 foot glow sticks for each guest and asked that they line the walkway out to the parking lot for the bride and grooms good bye. The bride and groom walked through the crowd thanking all and used this as a replacement to the traditional reception line. It made for the best closing photos! (taken by brides brother)
Consider the Hampton Inn High Point for out of town guests with clean comfy rooms and a nice lobby for congurgating after the event or next day for breakfast.
Our daughter selected a Castle preferred cateror, a perferred florist, and perferred hotels. The caterors package included one of the best cakes I have ever tasted along with a very nice family style meal.

Tammy and all of the staff at Castle Catering were so amazing! My husband and I were so pleased with all of their services! Tammy seriously is walking in her calling. She is meant to be in the business of serving people because she naturally does it so well. Even before my husband and I booked our wedding at Castle McCulloch, she called me and gave me catering quotes. She was so responsive throughout the entire planning process of our wedding, and truly went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was perfect. Tammy helped with our seating chart, decorations, centerpieces, family dynamics, etc. Castle Catering is the BEST! The food was sooooooooo good and our guests are still talking about it! The evening of our wedding it started to get windy and we were not sure if we would be able to set up our arch that we loved and worked so hard to make. My wedding would not have been what it was without Tammy and her team. We had a short engagement of only 6 weeks, but Castle Catering made it look like I spent a whole year planning.

And the best part was nothing ever seemed too big for them to handle. Planning a wedding in 6 weeks was stressful but having Tammy on my side let me sleep better at night. I rejoiced and thanked my lucky stars when I found Castle Catering.

Even the day of the wedding, I walked into the venue and was bombarded by other vendors about what to do, where to go, sign this, sign that. Tammy came over and took my box of decorations out of my hands (that I was going to put out) and said she'd take care of it and to go ahead and get ready.

During the wedding, she kept the other vendors on time and in the know. Even without asking her to, she kept tabs on my bouquet which had a family heirloom attached to it as the night started to get rowdy. I panicked the next morning and sent her a text message and she promptly assured it was safe and sound along with all of our other items.

They were great at working within our budget and giving us options based upon that and their prices are extremely reasonable. All of our guests thought we spent far far more than we actually did.

I used to work in weddings years ago and I can say Castle Catering is one of the best. I try not to think about what would have happened if I went with someone else. Besides all of their amazing work, they truly care about their clients and do whatever it takes to give them the best experience possible.

I had my dream wedding thanks to Castle Catering.

The price was fantastic, the locations stunning! We had most guests traveling from 400 miles away or more and EVERY SINGLE ONE raved about the gorgeous setting. Tammy is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I loved everything about working with Castle Catering, right from the start they made everything perfect, from tasting food, planning the tables and room decor right down to running my wedding day everything was perfect. Tammy and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was not hired as my wedding planner but that exactly what she did. Even last minute details down to nail glue and Tylenol 30 minutes before the wedding started she took care of it. The food was amazing and the reception looked better then anything i could have imagined. I did not end up choosing Castle McCulloch as my venue because I ended up going for a destination wedding. However, if I had done a local wedding there is no question I would have booked Castle McCulloch. In fact, I had placed a $100 deposit to hold my wedding date until I decided between local and destination. If you're going for princess or forest fairytale or just a beautiful ballroom that's totally different from the vanilla hotel ballroom, this place is for you. Everyone at Castle McCulloch seemed like they would be quite flexible with my needs and excited to be working there. As soon as I told them I was on a tight budget, they made a list of the vendors that would work with my budget and made an appointment with their preferred caterer (by the way - totally call up Tammy at Castle Catering if you're getting married in High Point/Greensboro - she's awesome too). I'm super sad I can't do two weddings!! Seriously check this place out.

I am really glad my fiance talked me into checking this place out! I recommend it simply because unlike most wedding venues CM actually lets you make monthly payments without interest! There are 5 different areas on the grounds that you can have your ceremony/reception. The main ones being the castle and the Crystal Ballroom and they also have outdoor areas as well as indoor. This place is just all around gorgeous ! I can't wait to get married here in October! Paulette made our experience really well, ask for her when you go!

I have absolutely no complaints! The venue is absolutely stunning, and the staff is very responsive when you have a question. It rained on the day of my wedding, and they moved our cocktail hour downstairs to another rental spot, even though I hadn't rented that area! When I forgot to bring my bouquet downstairs for the ceremony, our building manager, Tammy, ran upstairs and sprinted across the catwalk/balcony to grab it for me before it was my turn to walk down the aisle! The prices were pretty competitive, too, especially for a Sunday morning wedding. They also helped to decorate for both the ceremony and reception. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience!

One thing to keep in mind, though: The Great Hall is not climate-controlled. It was no big deal for us because it wasn't overly warm, but I can imagine that it would be less comfortable in late summer.

Tammy Koening, Elite Designer and General Manager, for Castle Catering was fantastic! Tammy was so easy to work with, accessible, and helped us put together a beautiful, delicious and creative menu for my son's rehearsal dinner as well as configuring the table layout to accommodate the group comfortably while still having a nice dance floor. Our guests raved about all of it. Tammy left us with NO stress over the food, drinks, etc. at all. The Castle Catering team took such good care of the bride and groom during the dinner that they even made sure they had some leftovers packed up to take with them! I am still getting compliments from our guests that we had the best ever rehearsal dinner food! I highly recommend Castle Catering (with Tammy K.) for any event, and I would use them again if I ever do an event in the area!

We had our small ceremony and reception both in the Great Hall (30-40 guests), and it was absolutely beautiful! From the chandeliers to the great front doors and the bridge, we had a wonderful medieval fairy tale atmosphere. The Castle was beautiful even in the winter, and we didn’t need to do much decorating, as the castle itself was beautiful both indoors and outdoors. The ironworks from the castle were lovely and provided most of the décor we needed.

We had our wedding on Sunday to help knock down the price, and got a wonderful package deal during their summer sale. They were very accommodating when we fell a little behind schedule, and also let us use the extra ground floor dressing room in addition to the upstairs for the groomsmen and coats for the guests.

During the planning process, Joanna was very helpful and responsive. They let us come up to see the venue any time during the week when no weddings were scheduled. Our provided day-of coordinator was excellent and really helped things go smoothly!

I’m very happy we found Castle McCulloch. It was difficult to find a small, indoors venue, and I never thought I’d find something that looked straight out of a fairy tale! They had multiple options for both small and large weddings, both indoors and outdoors as well.

Castle McCulloch was my wedding venue for May 18, 2014. The location is absolutely beautiful! The staff were so helpful and took care of everything. Definitely a more affordable venue for those on a budget. I personally worked with Paulette Skeen, who answered all of my questions, returned calls promptly, was professional, and is overall a very kind woman. It's also 15 minutes away from Greensboro, so family & friends can easily find places to stay. I could not be happier with them and highly recommend!

I was extremely happy with my wedding at Castle McCulloch, it is a beautiful venue, just like a fairy tale. The staff was helpful/flexible and assisted as with what we needed. Very happy, couldn't have been any better! Only thing I did have an issue with was the upstairs dressing room, not very many plugs in this room, and when you have a whole bridal party trying to get ready that can be an issue, however, it did not affect the quality of my wedding, just a side note. :]

Working with the ladies at Castle McCulloch was a joy. It was easy to get in touch with them either through phone or email. I was also able to visit the grounds whenever I needed to as long as there was no event taking place. They made sure to explain all of their policies and rules from the beginning so there were no surprises down the road. I also loved the fact that they have a monthly payment plan.

They have a preferred vendor program so if you hire a vendor that is on the list, they will give a certain percentage discount off of your total price for each vendor used from the list. If this list changes between the time you sign the contract and get married, they will still honor the list provided to you first.

The venue was beautiful and I had no problems with any of the facilities. the Bridal dressing room is kind of small so if you have a big bridal party, I would suggest that everyone get dressed somewhere else.

The only problem I had was with their alcohol packages. They have three different alcohol packages, with services/items being offered dependent upon the package.You have to pay per person for each package in addition to purchasing your own alcohol. So even if there are people you know won't drink or if there are lots of kids present, you still have to pay the same price for them. Modifications to these packages are not allowed.

Other than this, I had a great wedding here and loved the staff.

This venue is breath taking. The castle is a historic site that was built in the 1800's and there is nothing like it anywhere. The staff was great and helpful and best of all they have a payment plan that makes it really affordable. The bridal shows are also very helpful when planning your day.

Joanna and Paulette were a pleasure to work with. They always answered my phone calls with crazy questions and were super organized. Everything went so smooth and the venue ROCKED! Loved the fact that we were able to have the rehearsal dinner there the night before then ceremony and reception throughout the property the next day. Absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for all that you both did to make my day special!

Castle McCulloch was fantastic. I couldn't imagine my wedding anywhere else. It was beautiful, clean and elegant. They also worked with me well while I dealt with being long distance while planning and also when a death in the family through us through a loop. They really worked with us to make sure our day was special no matter what.

This place was my dream location and they helped make it happen. I couldn't afford a Saturday wedding in May here but they worked with us to find a day that we could afford. We ended up with Sunday date and I couldn't have been happier. Everyone was very nice and professional. The location is beautiful and I highly recommend it. We had our ceremony in the Great Hall, our cocktail hour on the Great Hall Patio, and our reception in the Crystal Garden. Photos came out amazing!!

BEAUTIFUL venue! All of the staff at Castle McCulloch were extremely helpful and friendly. My reception was in full swing and my time frame was nearing its end, but they had no issues with me extending everything one more hour; I just had to sign a quick paper. I honestly cannot imagine getting married anyplace else.

I recently hosted my daughters wedding at Castle McCulloch. It was that fairytale wedding she has always wanted. The reception in The Crystal Garden was breathtakingly beautiful.

I had a beautiful wedding at Castle McCulloch. They were able to put together everything for me in just 5 weeks. Even though it rained on my wedding day it could not have gone any better. There was more then one wedding that day but you could not tell that we were not the only ones there!

Perfect for a Scottish Wedding!

If you’re in the southeast and looking for a smaller castle venue for your wedding, look no further! They have multiple ceremony and reception locations to choose from on the property and multiple packages, including all-inclusive, to choose from so you can have your dream wedding. We chose the Great Hall and Queen’s Chamber and it was the perfect backdrop for our Scottish wedding. Dark and moody, it set the stage for an intimate ceremony illuminated with the bright reds in our tartans. Ashellee was our coordinator and you won’t find a more fun, accommodating, and friendly person! She offered amazing suggestions for our reception and I’m so thankful! I can’t remember the name of the young lady that tan herself ragged the day of the wedding trying to make sure things were just-so, especially with the large amount of decorating that needed to be done and taken down. Our bartender Tevin was a warm and kind addition to our day. We chose the a la carte option so we could decorate our own way. Our friends and family traveled from multiple states because they were so excited, not only for us, but for the venue. Thank you to the entire staff for making our day a fantasy wedding come true!

Dreamy Venue

The Castle is such a beautiful venue. From the drawbridge to inside the castle and the grounds all around, your guests will absolutely love it. We are still getting compliments on how much everyone loved the venue. They were flexible with planning especially due to covid and deployments we had come up. Their onsite staff were very professional and prompt. I would highly recommend this venue, just make sure any arrangement made is down in writing.

I LOVED Castle Catering. They were very helpful throughout the entire process and made choosing a caterer an easy decision! I had an outdoor wedding and it actually stormed like crazy for about 10 minutes. The wind knocked things over and messed up most of the place settings, but Castle Catering fixed everything in minutes. They truly went above and beyond!

We got married in October and the leaves changing color plus the beauty of the building made our wedding gorgeous. The inside of the castle is gorgeous and plenty of room for our guests (75) catering and presents. We booked during a sale so got a great deal on using inside and patio. My husband is NG so if our wedding date needed to change due to him serving or drill we could at no additional cost.
The staff was always available to chat on the phone and provided a helper for the day of the wedding. The wedding ran smoothly and the venue met all expectations

I fell in love with Castle McCulloch the first time my mom and I were there for a bridal expo. The only area I would say that needed improvement would be the time limit placed on my wedding. We were not allowed in the castle prior to 4:30 and had to be finished by 10:30. For this reason, things seemed a little rushed. That said however, the experience as a whole was very enjoyable from the planning all the way to the actual event. Everyone at the Castle was very professional and went above and beyond to provide us with whatever they could within certain limitations.

Gorgeous venue, met our expectations for our wedding on 8/19/16. Price is within reason when compared to other venues in the area. FYI...they do tend to book well in advance so if you are considering this venue do so quickly!

Castle McCulloch is an incredible venue with responsive staff that really worked to ensure we had the best wedding celebration imaginable.

We were looking for a venue that would stand out in people's minds and wouldn't be your typical "reception hall" - and Castle McCulloch is anything but that. We were married in the Great Hall and had a reception in the Crystal Gardens. Most people we spoke with told us that we had the best wedding that they had ever attended, and people couldn't get over the atmosphere and the views. Castle McCulloch provided us with the personal touch that we were looking for and helped us to create a wedding celebration that was totally over the top and won't ever be forgotten by any in attendance.

Paulette was also very responsive and helpful throughout our entire experience. She followed up with us to ensure we were satisfied and that all of our dreams were coming true. Once you see Castle McCulloch - you'll know that this is THE place to have a celebration in North Carolina.

Great place

This was a great place for our wedding and we had a great time. It is very beautiful here and my advisor, Paulette, was very helpful whenever I had questions. My only complaint was we had arrived early to take food in and the woman taking care of the grounds that day was kind of rude over us being there so early and literally locked the door so no one could wait inside. We had to wait til the exact time to enter and wait for the door to be unlocked, she was very unprofessional about the situation and we were basically just told to get out.

Perfect!!!

We had our evening wedding here and what a beautiful place! The castle is beautiful and just right for a special occasion. The gas lanterns make a very special touch to the atmosphere outside. The chandelier in the ballroom was stunning and the view from the ballroom is so stunning that it’s breathtaking. I absolutely love this place!

This venue is beautiful. I attended my niece's wedding and it was amazing. The manager Malaysia went above and beyond to make sure my niece was happy on her big day. She was pleasant accommodating in everyway. Thanks again for everything!

Delicious and beautiful set up

The food and the amount of services they provided was worth it. The chef is incredible and the food was so amazing everyone wanted seconds. The set up was also beautiful and exactly how we had planned it. The only complaint was that it is a bit hard to get ahold of them because they are really busy which was understandable but once we did speak to them they helped us answer any questions we had. The florist they use would took about two months to reply to us and by that time we found another florist but that wasn’t their fault and they had no issues us finding another florist. I also loved that they have someone who does their cakes “baby cakes” and they were delicious and beautiful and it was included in the catering price.

Absolutely loved having my wedding here! Such a beautiful venue!! Gina was great with helping us get booked and Paulette was wonderful to work with in getting all the details nailed down! The only thing is the restrictions they have for events; however, I am sure that you will find that with any venue and I would not have wanted to change my venue for anything! The bartender did get heavy handed with the alcohol in the drinks, so if you use the bar service, I would recommend letting them know your preference there!
