The best in the business

These are the people you want on your team. After working with my sister for her wedding ten years ago to the day, there was no question—Castaldo Studios was going to be my most important vendor. My family never forgot their professionalism, kindness, and how essential they were to the experience of that day, and my wedding day was no different.

From the minute they arrived, it was go time! They immediately took charge in the best way possible—knowing exactly what needed to be captured, from the dress and accessories to the flat lay and beyond. They moved with intention and care, adjusting quickly when something wasn’t quite working and always keeping things calm and smooth.

What I loved most was how naturally they captured us—not stiff, overly posed shots, but genuine, candid moments that felt real. My husband especially appreciated the time and attention they gave him, from every detail of his look to the laughs and moments shared with his groomsmen. It made him feel seen and valued in a process that often focuses solely on the bride.

They handled our family photos like absolute champs—efficiently organizing everyone, making sure we got every important combination, and still keeping the day flowing right on schedule. No chaos, no stress, just confidence and control.

They were also always up for anything we wanted in the moment—from sneaking out for sunset photos to catching the Disney fireworks in the background. And shoutout to their dedication—they were literally in the bushes at times to get the shot! And somehow, they orchestrated the movements of our entire bridal party so smoothly that no one saw each other before our first looks. They’re logistical wizards and artistic geniuses.

On top of their artistry, they were the kindest, most fun people to have around the morning of. They made us feel so special and truly celebrated. The day wouldn’t have been what it was without them.They are true professionals, storytellers, and just genuinely great humans to have by your side on such a meaningful day.

Highly recommend!

We were really happy with working with Castaldo for our Paradise Cove wedding! It helped that they knew the venue and the setting, so they were pros at getting the right shots and angles. The team had great communication and was easy to work with leading up to the big day, on wedding day itself, and in the days after as we received our finished photos and videos. It was a quick turnaround! We will love looking back on these photos and the edited video for years to come. Highly recommend, and would use them the next time we need formal event photographers/videographers!

Wonderful experience!

We recently hired Castaldo Studios as our photographer for our wedding at Paradise Cove. We originally chose them as we loved their previous work at our venue and we received the results yesterday. The pictures turned out amazing! We had 2 photographers who took pictures as both my husband and I got ready, the ceremony, my partner and I around the venue, and the reception. Our one-on-one time with our photographers was full of laughs and some very helpful guidance with posing. They are a great team with an eye for detail needed at an event like a wedding.

Paradise cove wedding

We had the absolute best experience with Castaldo as our photographer for our destination wedding at Paradise Cove (Orlando). Our photographers did an excellent job at making us feel comfortable in front of the camera and the natural looking photos absolutely prove that! The turn around time was super quick, and even leaves me plenty of time to get an album and prints before our reception for our friends and family at home. We could not be happier that we chose them to capture our special day!

Fantastic experience!

Castaldo did a FANTASTIC job with our wedding & ceremony at Paradise Cove, Orlando. My wife and I are very happy with all the photos taken, their editing style, video highlights, and customer service. What stood out was the patience they had for our photos, considering one of our family members required extra time to get in the shot; Mrs. Castaldo (I presume!) even went out of her way to get our fur-friend’s attention by making cat sounds 😁. Amazing!

We had Castaldo as our photographers/videographers as part of our wedding package through Paradise Cove. Being from the UK we were worried about a lot of our wedding being missed out and getting across the vision we wanted to be shown in our photos and video, but Castaldo were amazing throughout the entire day, so professional and organised and never missed the perfect shot. We have since received our videos and photographs and can't even explain how perfect they are ❤️

Made our wedding process so fun and easy!

Phenomenal

This company deserves more than five stars. We hired Castaldo Studio just a few weeks before our destination wedding. They were absolutely amazing from start to end. While 8 hours may seem like a long time to spend with videographers, we really enjoyed spending the day with them . They made everyone feel super comfortable, made us laugh, and made sure we were truly enjoying all the moments such a big day has to bring, all while capturing it. We recieved the best teaser/trailer just days after our wedding. We got the full video a few months after and it was well worth the wait. The editors did a phenomenal job especially following any revisions that I had wanted to make. Our video is EVERYTHING we could have ever asked for. I have watched it countless times and it always brings me tears of joy. We are beyond thankful for Castaldo Studio.

Best than we could have dreamed of

Wow! I cannot say enough amazing things avoid this dynamic duo! Our wedding day was INCREDIBLE, but as to be expected we had some last minute snags so we were a tad moody at the start of our photos, and they pulled us out of our mood and made us SO comfortable, and they politely guided us with every new pose! My husband HATES photos and has dreaded that part of our wedding for years! I’ve never seen him so comfortable in my life. We have not stopped raving about them! They showed us previews as we took the photos, which helped our confidence! We CANNOT wait to get our photos back as we are certain they will be an amazing tribute to our big day! 1000/10 recommend!

Professional photography

As we were a couple from the UK going to marry in the US, we were unaware of any photographers/videographers. We first heard about costaldo after seeing posts on Paradise Cove’s Facebook page. The photos looked amazing quality and just what we was wanting - so we booked them as our photographer and videographer whilst using their live stream service.

We found them very calming and professional; they eased us both through the poses and had a vision that aligned with ours. We are really happy with the photos and video with how they captured our special day and made memories for us to cherish forever. The live stream was set up and ready for our friends and family at home to watch - it was very clear and the microphone helped with this. The photos and video came back earlier than expected so we managed to show them to our friends and family at our UK wedding party! I would recommend them to everyone!

Great Wedding Photographers!

Castaldo Studios were both our photographer and videographer at our wedding in Orlando in March! They were so much fun to have at the wedding. They were fun, super easy going and had so much knowledge/comfort with our venue and found all the good spots for photos. Cecily, Dom and their team were professional, friendly and kept us laughing. We saw sneak peeks of our photos the very next day! We also got the rest of our photos only about a few weeks later. The turnaround time was fantastic! We are still waiting on our video and can't wait to see it. Our only wish was that there were more photos of our guests! Castaldo did a fantastic job! Anniversary Photos and Video

Magicians Behind The Camera

When we first saw Domenico and Cecily's work, Randy and I knew we HAD to have them for our wedding. They literally were the first vendor that we booked over 1 year and half before our wedding. We did our engagement shoot in June of 2017 and just by seeing the raw, unedited footage we knew we made the best decision for photos and video. Fast forward to our wedding on 11/10 & 11/11/18 we couldn't be more happy. Just by the few previews from our reception that we have seen so far (we can't wait to see previews from our hindu Ceremony), our same day edit and one of a kind movie poster we are mind blown. You will not find a greater team than Castaldo Studios. Cecily and Domenico are masters at their craft and can work with anything that comes their way. Seriously! There are absolutely no words to express our gratitude and appreciation of the Castaldo Studio team and their incredible talent! We hired them for engagement photos, wedding photos and our wedding video. The photos are incredible and the video takes our breath away and makes us both tear up every time we watch it. They captured everything so perfectly and their editing/production skills are amazing. There are literally no words to describe Castaldo Studio’s. After meeting with Cecily at their office, a tour of their production facility and chatting with her about our wedding, I didn’t think it could get any better. However, it did!!!
Their portfolio is exquisite. Their professionalism is unlike any other - prompt with responses, super creative, and not to mention, they are super FUN. Cecily’s husband is Italian and I promise, you will adore him! Cecily makes you laugh, is super easy going and is great helping guide you if you are unsure of how to 'act' in front of the camera.
The rest of the team is truly so sweet! You will instantly connect and be comfortable with all of them. We were absolutely honored to have them play such a large role in my wedding. Cecily posted some teaser pictures from our wedding and we are super excited to see the final product. The lighting and angles they hit are simply perfect in all their shots!
From one bride to another- I know photographer and videography is an investment but TRUST ME, their product is one you will have forever.

Castaldo Studio, You will never know, what this photo shoot meant to me, and my family on such short notice. Thank you. Not only did they provide a wonderful atmosphere but also great customer service, at a drop of a hat. I was able to call on 11/5/16, Saturday, leave a voice mail & send an email asking for a response either way- by 10:00 am Monday, I received a call related to my inquiry! I was able to get my family's pictures taken that day! I only had 4 days to spend with my family, and this was the first time in years, we were all in the same room together. Castaldo Studio went above and beyond meeting my needs- I just dropped off my two oldest siblings today at the airport to head back to New York- and I miss them terribly- thanks to Castaldo Studio, I now have memories that will last me forever. We had them for our wedding at Paradise Cove in Florida and Cecily was amazing and got plenty of amazing photos for us. She knew exactly what she wanted from each shot and even tried some new ideas.

All I can say is WOW! We just got married on the 24th of July and Cecily has already posted some our photos and we just cried again! Cecily and Domenico photographed our dream wedding and made us feel like stars of our own show! They were prompt, professional and to be quite honest, very fun and easy to work with! They even made my husband smile and laugh, which is very hard to do. Cecily and Domenico have a great "eye" and their creativity shines through in our photos. They captured the raw emotion and happiness we were feeling and during the ceremony, we didn't feel like we were being photographed. They weren't obtrusive at all. Domenico's personality and laughter is infectious and makes you feel at ease. Cecily's calming personality is serene and you are automatically feeling like they are your family. We are so in love with our photos and can't wait for the finished products! Thank you Cecily and Domenico for making our photos everything we dreamed they would be!

Cecily did an amazing job on our wedding day. The weather wasn't cooperating, she was working by herself and still managed to pull thru even though we were an hour behind because of the rain. We've only got a preview of some pictures and we fell in love with the ones we've seen, we cannot wait to receive the rest! Castaldo Studios is definitely the way to go when booking for photography and cinematography! Cecily, Domenico, and their staff are an absolute joy to work with! They have amazing personalities that make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and they have a beautiful vision. We hired Castaldo for our May 14th wedding in Orlando after one of our friends hired them for their wedding a couple of years ago. I absolutely loved working with Domenico, Cecily and all the team at Castaldo Studios, from the moment I stepped foot into the office for a consultation he was incredibly professional. The Team at Castaldo Studios addresses everyone that enters as individuals and provides outstanding creative direction, as a first-time bride I had no clue what I wanted or how my day would work with videos and pictures being taken. However, Domenico and Cecily and videographers Matthew came extremely early and put my mind at ease, with their professionalism and pleasant personalities. They were able to work with my budget by presenting different packages to best address my needs. I haven't received the finished product as of yet but based on the pictures and videos they provided my sister during her wedding two years ago which captured every moment of what was a truly beautiful day; I am dying to get my hands on them!

I had an amazing experience at Castaldo studio today. The owners, Domenico and Cecily, are extremely professional and a wonderful team. They, with the help of their assistant Jason, put me at ease and made me look and feel so beautiful! Domenico was brilliant about direction and getting the best shots. The whole team at Castaldo is professional, friendly, and talented. I purchased a boudoir shoot with hair and makeup included. I booked easily through email and received a few appointment reminders before the shoot. On the day of, I brought a friend and many outfits, and we were greeted with wine and a rack for all of my outfits. The hair and makeup artist did a phenomenal job and did exactly what I pictured. The entire experience was easy-going and I never felt uncomfortable once. My friend adjusted anything that needing moving or re-positioning actually on my body. The photographer (Domenico) was professional and we only did what I felt comfortable shooting. He knew exactly how to position and what lighting to use. The pictures are phenomenal and I can't wait to get my final edits. You can tell the whole team and especially Domenico love what they do.

Cecily and Domenico treated us like family! We were their first groom/groom wedding shoot, and we felt so included and equal from day one. This was before I saw a single picture. The team at Castaldo went above and beyond to make my entire wedding experience one of a kind. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers, but they're amazing people. They make you feel so comfortable and my husband and I could not stop laughing. We had such a great time with both our engagement pictures and wedding photos! They have such passion for what they do and you can completely tell when you look at any one of their photos. They also do whatever it takes to make sure they get the most perfect shots and are so flexible with certain shots you might want. We were also shooting in a warm room and Domenico kept asking if we were okay or needed to take a quick break to cool off. Such awesome people. I can't say enough good things about them! Photography was the most important vendor for us to select. We cared more about photography then the food at our wedding. Photos last a life time and you need a professional with a creative eye who thinks outside of the box to capture the most important day of your lives together. Domenico and Cecily were the complete package and we are so happy with our decision. They did our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our wedding day. And all three sessions were incredible. My husband is a model so of course he is a natural in front of the camera, but I on the other hand am awkward! Dominco gave me direction, made me feel comfortable and made me look gorgeous! I love their work because it looks like something you would see in a high fashion magazine. It is not the typical cookie cutter wedding photographer, which is something we wanted to avoid. Every time we were tagged in a photo my news feed would explode with all the comments from friends and family members. We had made a promise to each other no internet while we on the honeymoon but Castaldo had our wedding photos up the very next day, so we had to cheat while we were in St. Lucia and look at our gorgeous wedding photos!!!!
Castaldo blew our expectations out of the water. For our engagement photos we closed down Bella Collina taking so many photos for a session that was only supposed to be an hour. For my Bridal portraits Domencio had me cracking up. He knew how nervous I was in front of the camera but made me feel at ease and gave me direction the entire way. And for our wedding- They went above and beyond! They even stayed until the very end of our wedding to capture all the guests breaking it down on the dance floor and our sparkler exit. I can’t stop staring at my wedding photos and am so grateful we had Castaldo on our big day. I would highly recommend Castaldo and his team to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, flexible, personable, talented, innovative, and cutting edge photographer!

I knew I was asking for a LOT when I wanted a Havana Theme to my wedding hundreds of miles from Havana. Your excitement and compassion the day of our wedding was unforgettable. Castaldo Studios was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding process. After seeing their work online, we immediately knew that we had to have them photograph our wedding! Their pictures look like magazine photos. They take a lot of unique shots and capture the real feelings that photographs should capture.

Hours after our engagement shoot, Domenico already had some photos posted so that we could see how they turned out. We were blown away! I was worried that they didn't turn out well because it was so hot and sweaty outside, but thanks to his talents you couldn't even tell in the photos! A few days later a video was posted of our engagement session by Johnny. We were completely shocked, as we didn't even know they were videotaping us! Not only did they edit the video in a short period of time, they completely surprised us that they even made one! It turned out so great that we decided at that moment to hire them to do our videography for the wedding as well. That was another great decision. Within 2 days after our wedding they had already posted our highlight video and set it to our first dance song. We have gotten so many compliments on the video from family and friends.

Photography is one investment that you should not cheap out on. After everything is over your photos are the one thing that capture the memories of your special day. We are so glad that we found Castaldo Studios and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone getting married. Domenico, Cecily, and team are so talented and wonderful! I wish they could photograph our daily life!

They were absolutely amazing! Not only did were they professional but they were friendly and had ALL of us laughing and smiling and you would never know by ANY of the pictures that any of us were even slightly stressed (not that weddings are EVER stressful! :) *wink wink*)

The photos are beautiful and I would say a great photographer is the BEST investment you can make in your wedding. You could get married in a barn with no makeup, and I think Cecily and Domenico could make you look like a high fashion model at the Ritz! :)

Castaldo Studio is one of the best investments we made for our wedding! Both my fiance and I were so impressed with Castaldo's artful portfolio, and we signed with them almost immediately after meeting with them. They continued to impress with me with their professionalism, quick and courteous responses to email and phone calls, and their ability to listen and incorporate our wants and needs regarding our wedding photography.

Castaldo Studio is a husband and wife photography team, and we originally met with Domenico, but Cecily arrived as the head photographer on our wedding day. She is fun, easy to work with, great at instructing on posing and being photographed- and boy, does she move fast (a great quality to have on a tight schedule and fast-paced day)!

Castaldo is very well known in the Orlando area, and they knew most of our other vendors and worked seamlessly with them to ensure things ran smoothly. In addition to absolutely gorgeous photography and great service, they do a great job in keeping up with their website... we literally had "sneak peak" wedding pictures posted the NEXT DAY, with the complete blog posted within three days.

We were also able to book their photo booth service at the last minute (due to problems with the previous photo booth vendor that we originally signed with) and I have to say that it was the best photo booth I've seen or used. Awesome back drop, fun staff, high quality pictures, and the best props I have seen by far. It was a huge hit with our guests.

While Castaldo Studio is not the cheapest photographer in town, I am a firm believer that wedding photography is NOT the place to skimp, and Castaldo is worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend them to any bride!

Grateful. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think of Domenico Castaldo Studio. I had seen them a couple of years ago at a bridal show and was instantly captivated by their work. I never found another photographer I couldn't get out of my head. My husband is not one to love the camera, but with Domenico and Cecily, he said we needed to set aside a fund for them in the future because he could never use a different photographer he enjoyed them so much. Our pictures are breathtaking. It is a gift to be photographed by Domenico & Cecily. It is photography elevated to art. They were timely, professional, friendly, and we got more pictures than we could have imagined. I can't say enough about them. We will be forever grateful the photographed our wedding.

I'm so happy I went with Domenico and Cecily of Castaldo Studios! They were wonderful! I chose them because I saw one of their photos before I was even engaged and was amazed at the artistic style their photos have! Photography was a huge priority for us in our wedding because these are the tangible images of our memories from that day and no other photographer could have done a tenth of what Castaldo was able to capture! I have never felt that there could be someone in the world that would know how to capture every feeling in a photo but Domenico just has the touch of GOD. Domenico & Cecily shot our wedding in 2006. I have to say they made the day so much more fun! Even our wedding party loved how funny Domenico was, he had everyone laughing during the wedding party photos and doing bizarre things to get a good shot - of which there were tons to choose from. I think my biggest problem was choosing favorites to put in the book and choose as artwork for our walls. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose them again without question. They're great people and their art is amazing.

What can I say about two beautiful people, Domenico and Cicily Castaldo! From our first meeting to the engagement session (which was free) to the wedding day, these two had us impressed! Their creativity and artistry surpasses all other photographers that I interviewed. The day of the wedding was such a whirlwind, not the mention HOT, and they handled it beautifully! They were able to capture every memory and freeze it, so I can charish it forever. These photos are priceless and I have them to thank. Hope they are ready to do our Christmas Cards!!

Domenico and Cecily are amazing photographers and I could not imagine having anyone else in charge of capturing the special moments of our day. The photos that Domenico takes are the highest quality that you can get. They illustrate touching moments in your life you don't even realize were there. I had engagement pictures and wedding pictures done and I cannot believe how great they came out. After seeing your photographs you can't stop looking at them. They know how to capture people and emotions better than anyone else I have ever seen. You feel like a model when you get your shots back. My now husband doesn't like getting pictures taken and he was completely at ease with Domenico. Domenico is a true artist and using him as your photographer is an investment that truly is priceless. You will know that having them as your photographers at your wedding you will not miss a moment and will have spectacular photos to share with others for the rest of your life.

Domenico and Cecily are a sensational photography team. They make everyone feel at ease and are personable. Domenico's friendly personality and great sense of humor are what make their studio so great. He has an "out of the box" creativity that allows you to have memorable photos in your album. He isn't rigid in how he takes your photographs at all. His organic style of photography really captures a moment and takes full advantage of your wedding environment. He took a hauntingly beautiful photo of my wife and I at the ceremony site just as the sun was setting. He and Cecily take the time to listen to you and offer expert suggestions to get the shots that you want. I can't praise these guys enough. When you have questions day or night they respond right away to emails, phone calls, and text messages. The end result of all their hard work on our wedding and engagement photos are one of my wife and I's most prized possessions. They are like family to us know and have made sure our special day will be nothing but precious memories.

My fiancé and I recently used Castaldo for our wedding photography as well as engagement session photos.
There is NO other vendor that I would recommend for photography other than Castaldo Studios.
Cecily, Domenico, Johnny and the whole crew (please excuse any accidental misspellings on names) are incredibly talented and easy to work with.
Their pictures speak for themselves and I have received countless numbers of compliments on all of our photos done by Castaldo.

Domenico and Cecily are amazing. Not only do they provide PHENOMINAL work but they are wonderful people. I feel sorry for any bride who had another photographer. Domenico's work is above and beyond any other wedding photographs I have ever seen. He turns an average photo into an actual moment. He conveyed every emotion throughout the day in my photos. Photos were amazing!!!

We hired Castaldo Studios for our wedding in March 2022 and we couldn't have picked a better photographer. We had so much fun taking our wedding photos with the couple, and they turned out beautifully. Dom and Cecily were both easy going and knew our venue well (Bella Collina) so they were able to maximize our time to create an wonderful assortment of images. The quality and style of photos surpassed our wildest expectations! We are in awe of them. Additionally, their turnaround time was short and well worth the wait. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful experience working with Castaldo for our March 2022 wedding! I have admired their work on Instagram/Facebook for a long time. We were so honored and excited to have the chance to work with them for our big day! First of all they arrived EXACTLY when they said they were going to on the wedding day. The clock struck 3pm and they were at the door ready to start! We are obviously not models and i was feeling slightly nervous about being on camera. But Cecily, Dom and Xavier made both me and my husband feel SO COMFORTABLE. Their ability to pose us and give direction was amazing and so helpful! They work well together as a team (Dom and Cecily are husband and wife) which makes it really fun! They are passionate about what they do and it’s very obvious. We got our photos back about 4 weeks to the day after the wedding which was great and timely. The photos are TO DIE FOR. We were more than pleased by the end result. They are truly stunning photos! We are so grateful for the lifelong memories Castaldo captured. We haven’t received our wedding video yet (it takes several months to complete and it has only been 9 weeks since the wedding) but we are sure it will be AMAZING. 10/10 i would recommend using Castaldo for your event!

We hired Castaldo Studio and Celcily came out to take our wedding photos. She is very sweet, kind and patient. She took her time and put in a lot of effort to make sure our pics come out perfect. We only hired the Studio for 2 hrs, and she did a great job with the pics. She captured all the moments that not even my own Sister could have captured since she was part of the wedding.
Cecily captured the cake, pics of me and my hubby beautifully etc... She also took gorgeous shots of me in my bridal dress as well as getting ready pics. She is very professional and considerate of others feelings. A beautiful human being.

I realized just how important it is to hire the right photographer for the most special day in ones life. Those are the most precious moments that can never be recreated. It was worth every single penny. Really glad I decided to hire a photographer and that I chose the Perfect one for my wedding.

We love the our wedding pics and are so content that we listened to our family and friends who also hired Castaldo Studio for their wedding. It was totally worth it!!! I highly recommend Castaldo Studio. Cecily is unbelievably understanding and so down to earth. You will love working with her.

I used Castaldo for a boudoir shoot before my wedding as a gift to my future hubby. Overall, I had a great experience, I have never done any sort of sexy photo shoot before, and I felt completely comfortable. They did my hair and makeup, 3 hours of shooting, and the printed black book and thumb drive with photos, as this was part of the package deal. I received my book and thumb drive in a month, which was great turn around time! (I took about a week of that time selecting the pictures for the book). The only thing that I didn't like was that they only do the photo shoots during the week (M-F) due to working weddings on the weekend. I had to take off work for this, but other than that I am completely satisfied! They did a great job with everything!

Cecily and Domenico of Castaldo Studios are very nice people and amazing photographers! There work speaks for itself! We were married in October and had an amazing experience with them from the begining.

The only thing I would say wasnt so pleasant is the turn around time. We were quoted an approximate 3 months before getting our pictures/first album layout but that was not a realistic timeframe. We did get our pictures in 3 months but we didnt get our first album lay out until 7 months after and communication during that time also left a lot to be desired.

If you're willing to sacrifice how fast you will have your wedding pctures, album and video then you will get amazing pictures and love them. If you want what other photographers can offer- a 1 month turn around time... Castaldo may not be for you-

FI and I both love Domenico. Hes so funny and super fun to shoot with. When we met with him we totally knew we had to have him but he was out of our price range. Thanks to my loving brothers who paid the difference so we could book him. Now the only problem is when we go to book him he tells me his wife already booked him for a wedding on our date. Man we were sad. We knew he could totally deliver exactly what we wanted. He gave me names of other photographers and he even called a few for me but they were already booked. Then he tells me that his wife can shoot the wedding and he will do our epics and TTD shoot. They showed us her work and we liked it so we booked them. In addition he discounted the price of our package since he was not able to shoot our wedding. I have not seen our wedding pictures yet but his wife Cecily is really nice. My mom said she saw her take a lot of pictures of all the wedding details. Domenico took our epics and we could not be any happier. Theyre so fun and edgy. Everyone weve shown our epics to love the pictures and now they stock his blog, LOL. Some of them knew when he added more pictures to his blog before we did. Their a bit expensive but so far its been wroth every penny.

Treated like insignificant client

We had a small wedding ceremony - 25 people (sept '21). Castaldo was very responsive throughout the process and Dom was fun during the shoot. But this is really where the positive part of our experience ends. First, we had to purchase a live streaming for the day of the wedding as two close family members had health conditions that prevented them from traveling/attending. We considered having family broadcast it via Facebook live, but spoke with Castaldo about it and were concerned there would be issues - so we decided it would be best to have it professionally done by Castaldo with the right equipment (we thought). Turns out, noone was able to hear the ceremony due to poor audio. I advised Castaldo and requested a refund but was told basically it was non-refundable regardless of sound quality, they claimed the problem was everyone speaking softly.

We let this go, just hoping our pictures would turn out ok. Unfortunately, the pictures were a big disappointment after waiting 2 months to get them. They provided over 1000 pictures, but quickly we were able to remove many as duplicates, bad cropping, and blurry & unable to zoom/crop due to poor focus quality. Included in the out of focus shots were some of the memorable spots we had chosen in advance.

Castaldo sold us on their "cinematic" approach to pictures, like using light in unique ways, strong contrast, and other things they claimed to do different or better than other studios. In only 3 pictures we received was lighting used, the rest in comparison appeared dull or similar in quality to phone pictures - the light apparently needed since the sun was in and out.

I had asked for the email of Dom, one of the owners, who did our shoot, but was told that "Xavier can speak for him." This showed us Castaldo's lack of regard for backing up the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. Without recourse or even the ability to share our feedback with the owner, we're left to assume we were (in their mind) a small, less important job - so we share this hoping to save someone else similar disappointment.
