  Amazing band

  I was a fan of this band before I had my wedding. I liked their music videos on YouTube. I was thrilled and surprised to see them here for hire for this special occasion. If you like vintage jazz, you'll love them and all of your guests will be impressed by how great they are. I love that the singer can sing in other languages and there's an accordionist. Their music is great!

  Perfection

  We knew we wanted something really special for our wedding music as my husband and I are both musicians ourselves. We were so thrilled to discover Carte Blanche at one of their shows in Brooklyn and knew we had to have them after seeing them live. They performed at our wedding last weekend and blew everyone away. We opted for the full 6 piece group and they played for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Their music was so beautiful and impressive- our guests were from many different parts of the world and couldn't get over their versatility of languages and styles. Kate is the band leader and the accordionist and she was a huge help in guiding us through our planning process- excellent communication and worked with our planner and our venue to make everything smooth. They arranged several songs for our ceremony and reception and the rest of the evening they matched the vibe of the party perfectly. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

  Best wedding band ever!

  For our wedding we were looking for an amazing and unique band and we were so happy to find Carte Blanche! We were bringing together people from all over the world, and we were lucky to find such an incredibly cosmopolitan band. During the planning stage they were warm, friendly, detailed, and super thorough. The day of our wedding everything went off without a hitch, we had an outdoor ceremony and having a violin and an accordion for our ceremony and our cocktail hour was super special. They performed beautifully for our parent dances, and having a live band for the Hora made it super fun and memorable. We requested a special jazz cover of a velvet underground song for our first dance which they put together phenomenally. Guests asked throughout the night if we could share their contact because they already wanted to hire them for events, and we will happily recommend Carte Blanche Jazz Band to anyone!

  Amazing Amazing Amazing!!

  Carte Blanche was such a hit at our wedding! Kate helped us handle every detail and was so organized. They arranged a special song for our first dance that was so meaningful for us. Our guests from all over the world were blown away by the singer's many languages and we were dancing all night! Highly highly recommend this band!!

  High quality band

  Carte Blanche learned a song at our request and played it very nicely, they followed the requests/instructions they were given down to the smallest detail, and while my wife and I did not have a chance to really stop and listen to them, our guests all spoke very positively of their music, and many of our guests were themselves musicians. Carte Blanche performed music from multiple cultures and sang in several languages. If you are looking for a high quality band with international musical reach, we highly recommend them!

  Incredible band

  Carte Blanche was a delightful band to have at our wedding. We used them for the ceremony music and the cocktail hour and hired the 5 piece band.
  
  This band is very unique and offers songs of different styles - traditional American Jazz, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Yiddish, and various popular music. They traveled from New York to our CT wedding and wore elegant outfits. They also provided a song list, played from the songs we selected, and even learned our Jewish ceremony song.
  
  The music they played and sang was excellent, versatile, and beautiful, both at the ceremony and cocktail hour. We got SO many comments from our guests on how impressed they were with the music and the band. We had guests from many cultural backgrounds - Russian, Jewish, French, Italian, American, (including a few musicians!) and they all came up to us and mentioned how this was one of the best bands they've seen at a wedding, and how much they enjoyed the music.
  
  My only wish would have been for slightly more flexibility; the band doesn't play on the grass so we had to rent a stage, small tent, and umbrellas. However the quality was well worth it. Highly recommend!
