Ana Sent on 05/30/2018EXCELENT TEAM!!! Both Gina and Clarita are beautiful people, with a good attitude and kind words. Gina was the head of the team the day of the wedding and a week prior. She's made for this job. She had everything under control, all the details were perfect, supervised and neat. She was always on time, and the event had a perfect timing. Always helpful even when I had to go to the restroom (with my huge dress). She's really special and I felt the most important person in the world. I recomend Team Bride: 100%.

Andrea Sent on 05/28/2018My experience could have not been better if I didn't work with Cartagena Team Bride. They are not only professional but excellent, efficient and caring. Every step of the way they held our hand from wedding concept, to budgeting, to completion. It was truly a pleasure to work with Gina, Clarita and their team. My husband, myself and all of our family and friends were blown away by the entire event. If you are looking to get married in Cartagena contact them they are reliable and a pleasure to work with.

Ryan Sent on 03/20/2018Team Bride was incredible to work with, in every phase of our planning. We live in the US, so it was so nice to have Gina available to us in the US as well, always available and easily reachable. Then having Clarita in Cartagena saved us a number of times, especially as our wedding day got closer and she helped manage vendors and contracts and last minute details. Team Bride helped us on the two trips we took to Cartagena, spent all day with us making sure we felt comfortable and got the answers we were looking for. They gave us all the inside info and were always there for reassurance and support. They fought for lower prices from vendors when we needed savings in certain areas, they held all of our vendors to a high standard or service and punctuality, and they made sure we got even more than we could have dreamed. They were tough when we needed them to be, and flexible and easy going otherwise.
Our family and friends keep telling us that our wedding was "truly magical" and that magic was made possible by Team Bride. The wedding day was seamless, perfectly punctual, it had room for flexibility, it gave us incredible surprises, it was more than we could ever have dreamed for. They made planning a destination wedding seem easy, and gave us so many special touches, love and support. We will always be in touch, they were incredible. -

User2068062 Sent on 03/16/2015Gina is not organized at all and could not keep the large or small details of our wedding straight. Perhaps she was mixing up our wedding with other weddings. We had weekly calls and she never had reception - it was so annoying and unprofessional. Whether in the US or in Colombia she could not find a phone in a quiet place to talk and we would waste time calling her again and again or repeating ourselves because she couldn't hear. I should have known that the wedding day itself would be just as disorganized.
The caterer (Adriana Santos) showed up 2 hours late for our welcome party and then left all their dirty plates and serving dishes in the kitchen our guests were sharing during their stay. The musicians showed up 1 hour late.
At the wedding, our first dance song came on when everyone was still seated at dinner and Gina wanted to run around the room telling everyone to hurry up and get on the dance floor. She was frantic and frenzied and stressing everyone out so I told her to stop. We then invited the guests to join us on the dance floor and started the song over. Then again, the father-daughter song started without any announcement and my dad wasn't even in the room - we danced to the end of the song. These are very normal wedding activities and Gina was completely overwhelmed. The worst thing she did was regarding the florist. I was very upset to see that VivaFlor used fake silk orchids instead of real ones, and told Gina that she needed to have them replaced or get our money back. Gina said the florist had called her a few days before and asked if they could use fake ones "because they thought it would look better" and she told them yes! We had signed a contract and paid for $1500 of real orchids. How could Gina not even mention this to me until I saw fake flowers the morning of the wedding? Did Team Bride get money back from the florist for the fake flowers?Cartagena Team Bride's reply:
This is a mal intended review that does not reflect our work ethics, professionalism and commitment to our couples and done by someone who's desire was to take advantage of our services as well as each of the providers that they contracted directly by stating in-satisfaction in order to avoid payment. This couple never did sign our contract, nevertheless, we worked with them in good faith in our desire to provide their dream wedding. We went over and beyond to provide a service, worked with them for over a year, even though we did not receive payment from them until hours prior to the wedding to which they they were still reluctant to pay. I believe that this review is a product of this.
As planners we serve as liaisons with the different providers that a couple chooses, approves and that are contracted by them. We do not contract the vendors, the couple does. Nothing stated on this review is true. Regardless, this was a beautiful wedding that we and each of the providers contracted, worked hard and went over and beyond to organize for them to have each element and detail for a breathtaking wedding.
