Above and beyond

Linzey was my day of coordinator from Carsons and she was AMAZING!! She went above and beyond to make up for problems caused by other vendors. She was reassuring and very in control of her part. My food was amazing and everything on Carson’s side went off without a hitch.

3 weeks later, while attending another wedding we were still getting compliments on our food.

Wonderful job

Carson’s did an amazing job catering our wedding. We were very pleased with the tastings we had prior to the wedding and how well they listened to all the changes we wanted and perfected our menu.
The onsite team was very good. They were polite and great at clearing the tables, serving, and packing all the food up at the end of the night. Lindsey was our onsite coordinator and she was incredible to work with. She came out to the venue a couple days prior to the wedding and went over all last minute details, putting our minds at ease that everything would go smoothly. We also had Carson’s provide a bartender that did a wonderful job.
We chose Carson’s because they’re food was very good and it broke the strain of traditional boring wedding food. They have exciting, different food options paired with excellent service and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision to have them be part of our special day!

Superb Catering Service

Carson's catered our wedding, and their service was perfect. They have a variety of customizable packages to choose from and offer the capability to supply linens, drink ware, and flatware. They were highly responsive and answered all of our questions leading up to the big day. They even let us return for an extra tasting -- we had a hard time choosing from all of the food because it was so great. We received a lot of compliments from our guests saying how delicious the food was. Lauren captained our wedding, and she couldn't have been easier to work with. She made sure all of my last minute details were accounted for. Their whole team was wonderful. Great food, great price, great service, great team. Thanks, Carson's!

Excellent service!

We booked Carson's for our wedding caterer and I cannot say enough great things about them! The food is amazing, they were absolutely wonderful to work with from a planning perspective and they provided excellent service in a timely manner the day of the wedding. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food and amazing staff

Carsons was great to work with. They were very professional and they do an outstanding job with allowing you to customize your menu/package to best fit what you want. The staff was amazing to work with as well. They were very pleasant and did a great job decorating the tables and a few other items. Communication was great leading up to the wedding. We definitely recommend Carsons for your event/wedding.

Carsons could not have been better! The food quality and service was great. Tommy and his team, Zoe,Dorothea and David were on top of every detail. They even arranged our cookies and donuts. They were very kind and friendly. I strongly recommend Carsons.

My husband and I got married this May and we had our wedding at West Overton Village with Carson's as our caterer. We were beyond pleased with them! Dana was great with anytime I had questions before our wedding. The tasting was wonderful and I loved how we were able to bring our parents and try other foods we were interested in from their menu! We loved the different menu that we were able to pick so that it wasn't your typical chicken/meat entree you expect at most weddings. We got buttermilk fried turkey breast, halupki, feta and roasted tomato Mac and cheese (may be my fav!). What I loved even more was that they were able to do family style for our wedding like we wanted---and boy was it all a huge hit with our guests! Tommy was our wedding coordinator. He was so friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and super prompt! We couldn't have been happier with him-he definitely helped make the weekend of and day go so smoothly.
Overall, we would highly recommend them and got so many compliments. We also thought it was so caring of them to give us a personalized gift basket from them on our wedding day.

We used Carson's for our wedding in November and they were a joy to work with! We had a buffet with multiple entrees and sides - which were all delicious. Their service was excellent and well received. We would recommend Carson's to any couple looking for good quality service at a good price!

So extremely happy with Carson's. They we're extremely friendly, quick with their responses, and so patient with me and all my questions. I had my wedding at West Overton barn in Scottdale, Pa and the first time I went to tour the venue it was January of 2016 and there was snow on the ground and it was freezing out and Dana came out to open the barn and show me around and didn't once complains about being cold. The second time we went about a year later it was again cold and not a word was said! Beulah was the main lady I dealt with and she was super friendly all the time and very helpful. The day of the wedding was great, the staff was amazing and helped with last minute decorations such as lights being turned on and stuff, and the food was so good! We got tons of compliments from guests. And at the end of the night the staff gladly cleaned up my decorations and set them on a table so I could easily pick them up the next day and they wer all so happy and cheerful and full of smiles and nice things to say! Definite recommendation!! And West Overton Village is a beautiful spot for a wedding :) :)

Carson's did an awesome job catering our wedding reception. Our venue was about 1.5 hours away from their restaurant and we were concerned about the food but it was cooked perfectly with no issues. Their staff was super professional and they helped us with last minute details on the decorations and such and I had many comments from friends and family about how easy going they were to work with and request things from. They didn't have any hidden fees and the price was what we expected. We would use them again for a large party caterer!

Taylor: Over the two years that we planned a wedding they truly became like family to Sean, my mom, and myself. Tim and Kris are the most amazing business owners I have ever met. Beulah who works for them is also an amazing asset to their company. Every time I called with questions or concerns Beulah was always there to talk! And Tommy who was our event coordinator was absolutely fantastic! He was always able to be found throughout the night and assisted us with everything we needed. It was a pleasant experience working with Carson’s from the first day of walking in to the barn to the last day walking out of the barn during our send-off. If I can give any bride any advice…. It would be to book your wedding with Carson’s Catering. It will be the best decision you will make while planning a wedding and it will be a memory you will cherish forever! You will truly have your fairy tale wedding when having a wedding with Carson’s Catering.
Sean: Watching my wife’s face light up as we drove in to our wedding is something I will never forget. She truly walked in to her fairy tale wedding! Carson’s truly made her the happiest bride and in return made me a very happy groom. We danced the night away with all of our closest family and friends in what turned out to be the best day of our lives thanks to Carson’s Catering.
The vision that we had written down with paper and pencil had turned out to be better than we could have ever imagined. We could barely hold back our emotions when we walked into our wedding when being introduced. There was attention to detail in everything that they had set up for us and made it even more beautiful than we had imagined. Carson's did an unbelievable job at our wedding September 10th, 2016. We had a very untraditional wedding at our family farm and Bethany at Carson's made everything run so smooth for us before, during, and after the big day. The owner was in close contact with me as well and even came to our venue prior to the wedding to make sure everything was going well and addressed all our questions and concerns. We had numerous compliments on the food because it was absolutely delicious! We even had most of our guests go up for seconds! Carson's packaged up any left overs and placed it in the refrigerator for us to enjoy for the next few days! Would highly recommend Caron's!!!!

we had the best experience at West Overton barn with carsons! I had several little extras that I wanted set up in my decor and they handled everything for me. my coordinator, Tom, was very present and avvaliable.for any questions I had no matter what time. I had such amazing feedback from our guests about how amazing the food was!!! I couldn't have asked for a better experience and how perfect everything turned out from how they set up my decor to the food and esp how they were so attentive during the ceremony I felt like I was completely hands off the entire time and was able to enjoy every moment instead of worrying about anything! thank you guys for giving us such a special and memorable day!

Excellent food and service and my family is very particular. I have worked in the entertainment business for 22 years and when our daughter and fiance~ asked where to hold their wedding and ceremony at - there were no questions where to look. All of the staff were professional and helpful-going way beyond expectations!!!!!!!!! The best wedding ever several of our guests have told us and these were unsolicited remarks !!!!!! If you need a catering service, hire Tim and his staff. The food is excellent, the cost is reasonable, and the staff is amazing. He handled both our son's wedding and rehearsal dinner, and everything was perfect. We do not have one negative thing to say about the entire planning process and events.

Outstanding!! Carson's catered our wedding on May 14, 2016 in Short Gap WV at the Daydream venue. The day prior, Tommy came out to deliver our table cloths and set things up which was a huge help with seeing how things would be. The day of our wedding, the whole team (Tommy, Nikki, Sharon, and Ashley) went above and beyond our expectations. Every one of our guests raved about how great the food tasted and how they were "on top of everything". We can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. Our wedding reception (14 May 16) was a major success solely due to the outstanding owner (Tim) and staff (Tommy, Nikki, Sharon & Ashley). Carsons catering did an exceptional job with our wedding. We held our wedding at The Barn at Ligioner Valley. The food was fantastic and we received many compliments from our guests.

Besides the excellent food we also received wonderful service. Beulah and Nikki were fantastic. What really stood out to me was that Carsons assigned a day of coordinator to our wedding, for us this was Nikki. I can't speak more highly of her. The whole week before the wedding Nikki was always available with any questions or concerns I possibly had. She was truly great and was truly a great help. Between Beulah and Nikki you can tell what a strong emphasis Carsons puts on customer service. This is definitely helps planning any wedding so much easier! We will definitely keep them in mind for future events!

My wife and I had our wedding on 8/29/15 at the Barn at Ligonier Valley. We HIGHLY recommend using Carson's Catering as your caterer. They did a wonderful job from start to finish. Tim and Buelah were always available to speak (and my wife and I did contact them frequently to ask questions and communicate our thoughts). They aren't going to produce high-end 5-star restaurant meals but you will not find better food for a very reasonable price. Your guests will be pleased. If you want a fairly large wedding (up to 200 or so people) in a rustic barn and have a somewhat tight budget, and want the ability to personalize your wedding - do yourself a favor and go get Carson's. We even had a last minute adjustment with our final count and they were more than willing to accommodate. Tim runs his business the right way and it shows. Only caveat with Barn at Ligonier Valley - make sure to inquire as to microphone sound if choosing to have the ceremony outside at the gazebo. Good luck!

My husband and I were incredibly satisfied with the quality of food and service that Carson's Premier Catering provided for our wedding. The price was very reasonable and the staff was pleasant to work with. Plus they were very flexible with the menu and attentive to minor details that were important to us, such as preparing meals for guests with dietary restrictions. We had multiple guests come up to us at the wedding and say that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding reception before. During the wedding reception and after dinner, Tim Carson personally came up to both my husband and I and asked us individually how the food was and if we were satisfied with the service. The fact that he took the time to be sure that we were pleased with our meals was very thoughtful and showed us that he really cares about delivering quality food and experience to his clients. We appreciate very much all the hard work and attention to detail that Tim and the staff provided for us. Plus, the food was AMAZING. I would highly recommend this caterer to anyone and I will not hesitate to use them again for another event in the future.

Fantastic job by the entire team. From start to finish. Helped with more then was expected! So easy to work with and even people in my wedding party who was already married couldn't believe how smooth things went the entire night. They even helped me get everything out to our car at the end of the night. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with them. My maid of honor is now using them for her wedding next year! I am so pleased with my choice of Carson's Premier Catering to cater my wedding. The staff were all very professional, kind to my guests and I, and efficient with their work. Aside from the day of the wedding, the staff at Carson's in the office were attentive to anything my husband or I needed from the time we even thought about selecting them as our caterers, to even days after the wedding was over. I chose The Barn at Ligonier for my reception and ceremony site. Tim Carson was right there from the beginning. We had requested to do our food tasting with them early so we could get everything else planned and he was so accommodating and got us in asap! Their food was so delicious we had a hard time choosing exactly what we wanted to have. I know i changed my mind a dozen times when it came to what i wanted for my wedding and each time Tim and his employees responded back quickly and always had an answer to any question i had. It was hard for me to plan the wedding because i could not call when i needed to but they made it convenient with me emailing them. We were able to get into the hall two full days ahead of my wedding date. There was a little hiccup with the set up but Tim Carson took care of it personally and quickly fixed the problem. The day of my wedding Tim and his team went above and beyond for me. My day went off with a bang and was perfect!

Carson's catering services for our event, the Monessen High School Class of 1965 50th Anniversary Reunion, held on Saturday, August 15, far surpassed our expectations. With Beulah at the helm, the crew never stopped working to help make our party the success that it definitely was. We are still receiving rave reviews about how good the food was, about how attractively it was set up, and about how professional the servers were. My concerns were put to rest by Beulah who answered my emails promptly and took care of every detail. Choosing Carsons as our caterer was a very wise decision.

Perfection!!! Not only was the food perfect, Carson's did over and above! The people were INCREDIBLE. Bethany was our wedding "captain" and she was responding to my goofy text messages at 11pm. I also made some weird requests and had to make some last minute changes! I am so appreciative of their service! We got so many compliments on the food!! And even got a little gift from the staff. <3 You guys are AMAZING! Also, super affordable!
We also got our table cloths and runners from Carson's and the quality of that was amazing as well. Couldn't have done it without you!

We used Carson's on our wedding day at Destiny Hill Farm. Our venue recommended them, and we are so happy they did! We had a very delicious (and filling!) taste test months in advance, because we were not living locally. Tim went above and beyond to satisfy our needs after our tasting when we wanted to modify our menu. We ultimately decided on passed hors d'oeuvres and cheese stations for cocktail hour. Our main course included the option of Salmon, vegetarian lasagna, or beef filet. The presentation of everything including the salads was impressive, and we received many compliments on the food from our guests. The service by Tim and his staff on our wedding day was top notch. We had 150 guests, and everyone's meal was served warm. Our venue did not provide grills, so they cooked everything on site with their own equipment outdoors. It rained for a good half hour, but that did not slow them down - they were totally prepared! Tim we can't thank you and your staff enough for all of your hard work! Booking our venue and catering through Carson's was a great decision. Everyone was helpful from the moment we called to view the venue! We got married at West Overton barn and used Carson's "picnic menu" that has more grilled/bbq food. We wanted a more relaxed (but still upscale) feeling at the wedding and it all came together really nicely with the picnic menu and some small adjustments and upgrades. Carson's is also a great value, especially for a caterer in the Pittsburgh area.
Tim and Beulah were both really helpful in answering our questions, making adjustments to the menu, helping us with decorations, etc. throughout the whole process. After seeing the venue and before booking them, we were invited to come to brunch at the restaurant to taste the quality of the food - which was all pretty tasty - before booking them and scheduling a tasting to try the menu we were interested in. The food at the tasting (and the wedding) that we requested was delicious and my husband and I looked forward to eating the food at the wedding (which I think is, sadly, kind of impossible at your own wedding). The food and service was excellent, and we received quite a few compliments. They also offer to set up a dessert/cookie table for you and were extremely helpful with ours as one of the bridesmaids and friends had helped to make 600 Brazilian candies that needed to be set up. They made it work and got everything set up for us!
I would highly recommend the venue and the catering for anyone looking for a unique wedding venue and experience for their guests. I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out for our wedding and we owe a lot of it to Carson's.

I worked closely with Tim and Beulah for my wedding. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. They always got back to me immediately or the day of if I needed anything. The food was excellent, it was buffet style so you would assume it to be dry. My guests agreed this was not the case, it was fantastic and replenished quickly.

My reception was held at West Overton. The facility was clean, and the staff was professional and personable. They even let us set up two days prior, with no issues on leaving my decorations and alcohol in the locked barn.

His staff displayed my cookies, lit my centerpieces, and made sure everything was perfect for me. Usually catering companies hire young irresponsible kids and that scared me, but his staff was very professional and kind!

Everything down to the details was right on mark. I cannot thank them enough.

We are currently planning our upcoming wedding at The Barn at West Overton which is managed by Carson's Catering.
The venue is very rustic and beautiful. The large barn was built with brick which can be seen on 3 of the 4 walls inside and the large doors on the remaining wall can slide open to have the party easily flow between the two spaces set this venue apart from many of the other barns in the area. We fell in love immediately!
The first day we toured a few facilities we met with Tim who could not have been nicer. He was very patient with all of my questions and invited us to brunch at the restaurant.
We are beyond excited to be celebrating our big day with Carson's at this venue!

Carson's Catering was wonderful to work with. We had our wedding at Penn Scenic View in Somerset County. Guest count was 75.

I contacted them for menus and pricing a year ahead of time and went back and forth with the type of wedding we wanted to have. They were very flexible in doing whatever we wanted.

We did go through wedding consultants 3 times with them I guess do to new employees but each time they just picked up where the last left off. Everyone was always aware of our choices and it went off without a hitch.

We did an initial tasting at their restaurant which is a huge buffet. Then we went back for our final tasting and made some changes. We mixed our menus a little and picked a bar package that worked for us. Charity was great to deal with and responds quickly. Our Captain for our wedding was Jolene who did an excellent job. Her husband was our bartender and we got tons of compliments on how great he was. Never had a line at our bar. Guests were still talking about how much they liked the food after I came back to work a week later. They served all our guests in about 15 minutes and broke down the buffet stations quickly for dancing. They helped set up our tables and napkins. They packed up all leftovers neatly and stored them for us for the next day.

Great company to work with!! Would use again for events!

Loved using Carson's for my wedding. Chose the White Glove All Inclusive. Carson's Catering, especially Michelle and Charity went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for the day. I tried to choose options that were different went it came to food. I didn't get to eat much, but my guests have told me they were incredibly happy with the food, it was delicious, they loved it because it wasn't typical wedding food. I could tell because I barely had any food left to take home. My Guests also loved having the appetizers, veggie buffet, meat and cheese buffet, and the chocolate fondue. They absolutely loved Carson's.

Carson's Premier Catering was absolutely fantastic. From our first meeting with Mr. Carson himself all the way to the wedding day went very smoothly. There was little stress on my wife and I as they took care of everything. The first tasting didn't go as planned so we voiced our displeasure. Immediately we received personalized customer service and was invited back for a second tasting. The second tasting went wonderfully and from that point on we couldn't have asked for a better caterer. On our wedding day we didn't worry about a thing and Carson's delivered. The food tasted better than it did at the tasting and we received many compliments on the food. Would recommend everyone use Carson's Premier Catering as they truly make an already special day even better.

There is not enough good I can say about Carson's. They started off the entire process by having us come out to their restaurant to let the food speak for itself. Needless to say after dining with them we wanted more information immediately. We choose to go with them shortly after discussing with the owner Tim, who was so amazing he even offered to marry (and did marry) us! The pricing was amazing, the food was incredible and honestly everything I could have imagined. The responsiveness was perfect! I think the best part is at the end of the night after they had given me the day I wanted they presented me with an adorable gift basket that my husband and I enjoyed the night of the wedding. Hands down the best decision we could have made!

Carson's Premier Catering provided me with the wedding of my dreams! The Barn at Ligonier was the perfect venue for my ceremony and reception. The entire experience was wonderful. From the first phone call, to my last hug with the staff, I felt like we became family.

The crew was attentive and catered to our every need before and during the wedding. The food was OUTSTANDING. I am still receiving compliments from our guests. I couldn't have been more happy.

Charity was excellent to work with throughout the entire wedding. She contacted me the week of my wedding to go over everything which was great. It reassured me of all of our details!

I would recommend Carson's to anybody. The communication is great & I felt like I could call or email Tim or Kelli with anything. It's a great family business that pays attention to details and is absolutely professional. I certainly gained friendships from this experience!

Carson's Catering was amazing for my wedding. We booked the Barn at West Overton to be our ceremony and reception site. The property itself is gorgeous on it's own. The setting is unique and fun; it was exactly what we were looking for.

Carson's was extremely accommodating and helpful to us throughout the entire wedding planning process. We picked a BBQ menu, which isn't their typical wedding menu, but they adjusted things and made it work for a wedding reception. We had a back up in place for the cocktail hour which we planned to have inside in case it rained. We used the farm house to take getting ready photos. We were allowed to access the barn two days prior to the event to decorate. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly professional, helpful, and attentive to what I wanted for my day. They were amazing.

We had our wedding at West Overton Barn. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. All the of guests raved about the food. Carson's is very flexible with decorating and the tearing down of your decorations so that made it easy for us all, especially having family from out of town. Also, they allowed us to have the barn all night, which is also wonderful. I absolutely loved the barn and the staff was very professional and helpful.

The parking situation sort of got messed up- having cars parked in areas I did not initially think would be parking- however, it was not a huge deal.

Also a rather small detail about food was that I had many guests complain there was no coffee. This turned out not to be true of course, it was just hard to locate and no signs or announcements were really made.

I do feel that having family available to help set up things to your exact liking is very important. Carson's is not involved with the decorating- and our ceremony was very far away. We had to rely on friends to come down and place flowers where we wanted/light candles/ etc. It was not exactly how I wanted it, but a great night was still had by all.

Overall I would definitely recommend Carson's catering for your wedding. I had a wonderful night and tons of fun. Food is absolutely amazing. Tim is great to work with and made it easy.

Carson's Catering staff were amazing throughout everything. They were so helpful when planning and assisted me in thinking the entire day through, not missing one detail. They are so accommodating throughout and day of I could not have asked for more helpful people, lighting candles and ensuring every guest was satisfied. The food was amazing! I have multiple guests that booked them for their wedding immediately following. All of this aside I still can't believe the price as well, I shopped around until I found Carson's that is...they were half the price of some of the others I was looking into and from the initial phone call double the customer service and patience of other caterers. We could not have been happier with the quality of service that Carson's provided for our wedding. The staff was so kind and professional, the skirting and linens were beautiful, and most of all, the food was all absolutely delicious! I am originally from the area where Carson's is located but our wedding was about an hour and a half away from them. I was so pleased that they were willing to travel to cater our wedding. The owner Tim even drove to our venue the week before to meet with us and the wedding coordinator so that we could plan out our wedding day. We chose the 'white glove' package and were so pleased with the variety of choices we had for our hors d'oeuvres, salads, and entrees. The package was such a tremendous value for the amout and quality of food and services that we received. When we were originally planning our wedding, we visited 3 caterers who all had different approaches and pricing schedules. Carson's Catering was our third stop and a blessing for us. Their all-inclusive no-fuss approach gave us everything we wanted with lots of support, choices when we needed them, guidance when we didn't know what to pick, and patience when we had questions. We had Carson's do our wedding reception on July 30th of this year. It was very hot and humid that day and the staff worked so hard and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. It was amazing! The food was awewome and the staff was so nice and accommodating. I can't say enough how nice and professional Tim Carson is to work with. He suggested a lady to do our cake and cookies and that was also amazing! We are still getting compliments on the food, cake and cookies. Carson's Premier catering provided a wonderful service to us. We have been goin to their Sunday brunches for quite some time and Tim Carson himself told us about the venue that we ended up deciding on. Tim Carson also told us about a wonderful person to get our wedding cake from and the price was beyond reasonable. We also rented our linens from Carson's which saved us another vendor to deal with. I had Carson's cater my wedding in April 2010, and I recommend them to everyone! The food was amazing and heard nothing but good compliments on it. The staff made sure we had everything we needed and were very prompt with getting us something. I also got chair covers and sashes with them and they looked wonderful! They ironed every one of them in the hall before placing them onto the chairs! I'm very pleased with the decision of going with Carson's to make our wedding day extra special!

I am so happy that we chose Carson's Catering for our wedding this past August (2010). Carson's staff was invaluable when planning our wedding they were personable, down to earth, and reliable! Carson’s handled both the catering for our wedding and renting our reception venue. They made the planning process easy and enjoyable. From the very beginning they were ready to help and resourceful. Julie and Tim were very professional and answered any questions I had promptly. They also kept me up to date with any necessary details and gave helpful advice when I asked.

On our wedding day the venue was beautiful, the food was superior (we had so many compliments from our guests), and the service was wonderful. They took care of everything in such a professional manner and were very attentive to our needs!

I highly recommend Carson's Catering for a truly exceptional experience. It is obvious that that Carson's cares about their customers and the quality of their work! They helped make our wedding day perfect! :)

I could not have been happier with the service that Carson's provided at my wedding. From the very first moment that we started looking aruond at catering companies, Carson's stood out. They provided excellent communication through the planning process, and I always was surprised at how quickly someone would respond to any of my inquiries.

During the reception, the staff's conduct was extremely professional, and the food was delicious. All of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed the meal. If I had to do it all over again, I would certainly choose Carson's once again without a doubt!

I highly suggest that anyone planning a wedding or big event give them a call and see all that they have to offer!

Carson's Catering is AMAZING! From the start, we got friendly and professional help in answering all of our questions. Then the tasting we were invited to was delicious! Finally, the food for our wedding was wonderful and our guests were very pleased! Furthermore, the staff at our wedding were all very professional and went above and beyond typical catering responsibilities (lit all of our candle centerpieces and at the end cleared all of the tables and stacked mirror plates/centerpieces neatly for us). They kept in communication with me regarding everything which was really awesome! My sister is contacting them to do the catering for her wedding next year! Carson's provided amazing, well-prepared food for our October 2008 wedding. My husband-to-be was very adamant about not having bland, unoriginal buffet fare at our reception. After I took him to a tasting at Carson's, we both were convinced Tim and his staff could keep all our guests well-fed and happy, and they certainly did! Tim was so helpful and professional throughout the entire planning process. His menu options are delicious and varied, and the staff does everything they can to help the dinner go off without a hitch. Carson's set-up lends a touch of elegance to an otherwise traditional buffet. They also provided unique add-ons, like the chocolate fountain, which our guests loved!

We would highly recommend Carson's Catering. Give Tim a call or stop by his restaurant. We're sure you'll like what he has to offer!

Carson's entire staff was great to work with!!! They were always quick to respond when we had questions and made us feel special the entire time. Everyone was polite, courteous, and willing to help! If there were any issues they were quick to help fix the problem ! I would definitely recommend them to others :)

I was always told that the food is the one thing that every guest will remember from your big wedding day. I had nothing but compliments on how the food was and the service provided. Many guests compared our food from other weddings they have been to and rated our food the best they've had. We also purchased wedding decorations including lighted bridal table decorations and dance floor lighting. This made a huge difference once we seen the full effect, it was gorgeous! Communication was amazing and Carson's was willing to help in every aspect to make our day so perfect!

Carson's catering did an excellent job helping me to coordinate my wedding. They have an excellent staff- Kelli and Stephen in particular were superb. I have two friends getting married next year and told them they MUST book with Carsons. I cannot recommend them enough!

Carson's had absolutely great food! They really worked with us to remain within our budget. We had almost 300 guests, and the family style service worked out great! Everyone was served a hot meal at their seats and didn't have to wait in line at a long buffet. They were very accommodating the night of the reception! The only mess-up was that there were no glasses of water at the tables. Small mishap though - would definitely still go with them and recommend them to a friend!

We were reccomended Carson's catering through a friend(another bride) and my place of employment. I work for DeLallo's and they use many of our products for their Saturday night buffet and their wedding catering. I would like to highly reccomend them from start to finish as a wedding caterer. Tim the owner and his staff we very easy to work with and acccomodating to any and all ideas. Whatever we suggested, Tim ran with and surpassed our expectations. Not only did they prepare some of the best food we have ever had, but were also a huge help in setting up our venue and ceremony site. The staff went all out to assist us in making the perfect day and were top notch professionals. We cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work over the past months. Our guests were also very pleased with the unique set up of the food, the quality, quantity and great taste, and prompt/friendly service of the staff. Carson's Catering made our wedding day so special, perfect, and more than we ever expected!! I send only my highest reccomendations along to any couple searching for a wedding caterer. Great service!

My husband and I hired Carson's to cater our September 2019 wedding and had a great experience! I don't even live in the same state but was able to schedule one in-person meeting with the manager many months before the wedding date, and everything after that was coordinated via email. The staff person assigned to lead our wedding (I think Lauren) contacted me a few days before to go over all of the little details, and I truly never had to worry about them again--they really took care of us on the day-of. At the cocktail hour we realized that they had brought the wrong beer selections, but someone immediately ran to the distributor and purchased the correct ones and they were back in time to be served after dinner. The food was also top notch--we got a ton of compliments saying how good it was! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Carson's again.

My husband and I chose the Barn at Ligonier for our wedding, which Carson's owns. Everything went fairly easy and any changes I wanted to make they promptly made and updated my balance. The day of the wedding they were amazing. We were hoping the rain would hold off, but it ended up thunder storming right when the ceremony was going to start. Some guests and carson's staff flew into action and set up a makeshift alter inside. Everything went off without a hitch. Carson's set everything up the day before and packed everything up by the end of the night. My husband and I just loaded everything into the car. I've been to plenty of wedding were the bride and family are cleaning up at the end of the night, and I didn't even have to think twice about it, which let me enjoy the night! If you are looking for a rustic barn wedding, you can't go wrong with carson's.

We were married at the Barn at Ligonier Valley. Carson's was the caterer used by this venue. They were very professional and attended to our needs. They ensured my husband and I had drinks and snacks during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures. They also made sure we ate dinner! So many couple don't get to eat on their wedding day, we really appreciated this little detail. Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful everything looked. Thank you for making our day so perfect!

Our daughter's wedding fell on the Sunday before Labor Day. We had items that needed to be returned to the Florist after the wedding but since it was Labor Day on Monday, Sept 1, we could not deliver them because the Florist was closed for the holiday. We called Tim Carson and he said he would return the items to the Florist on our behalf the next day. This was such a nice added touch since we all live at least an hour or more from the venue and it would have been hard for us to come back to do it another day that week with all of us needing to go back to our jobs on Tuesday.

Carson's did a great job with our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Tons of complements about the food. We had the carving station, chicken parm, green beans, red skin potatoes, and the full salad bar for the reception. We also had the meat, cheese, crackers and fruit display, which I'd recommend to others. It was lots of good snacks for the guests. There was never a shortage of food for guests. They were pretty easy to work with. My only suggestion to them would be to officially one contact person for the entire planning process. We coordinated by phone and email with three different ladies during the 5 months before and they was assigned a wedding point-person named Bob (who did a great job) one week before the wedding to reconfirm everything. Not a game changer, but it would of saved us to repeating everything multiple times and we wouldn't have had "he said, she said" mix ups. Again, just to be clear... everyone we worked with there was super nice and did a great job. Definitely an above average business and they do a great job. I'd highly recommend others to use them for large event planning.

Carson's was an excellent catering company to work with. Not only did they do an excellent job with the catering aspect, they also set up all the linens and made special orders for me with perfect execution. The food was great and fairly priced and the company was very easy to work with from start to finish. I would recommend Carson's to bride's in the future looking for professional, high quality, reasonable catering service.

Tim Carson, Leah and Stephen were all wonderful to work with. We received nothing but compliments for the food at our wedding. They were very easy to work with, and took care of any issues that we came across. Tim went so far as to recommending and reviewing the local hotels around our venue to ensure our guests had a great weekend.

Just got married at the Hayloft in Rockwood, PA. Carson's was our caterer and it was awesome. The food was overall delicious, tons of SW PA favorites like haluschki and halupki done to perfection. They were unfailingly courteous to us, giving us not one but two free dinners at their restaurant and bending over backwards to do whatever we wanted. The prices were reasonable and my wife and I received many compliments about the food after the wedding, most of which had been eaten by happy guests. Also, they made us about 2 dozen pies in lieu of a cake, almost all of which were eaten and loved. Go with Carson's, you'll be in great hands.

The staff at Carson's was wonderful! They made sure everything was perfect for me on my wedding day. Charity and the others did a fantastic job setting up everything and serving all the food, which was delicious! I'm very happy we chose Carson's.

Carson's catered our wedding and we absolutely loved them! You are paired with a personal wedding coordinator who is there to help with all of your wedding needs. We got Bethany and she was absolutely terrific-- including answering my last minute texts as my bridal party was making their intro into the reception! The food was fantastic, and all of our guests were thrilled. They not only provided us with amazing food, servers, and staff, but were also amazing throughout the entire set-up process. I would highly recommend!!

We had our wedding 9/19/15 at the Barn at Ligonier Valley and Carson's was the exclusive caterer. We can't say enough about how wonderful it was with Bethany as our wedding captain day of and the help from Tim Carson and Beulah to get everything organized in the months leading up. Knowing that Carson's does a lot of business, email communication was prompt, concise, and very very helpful. It was great to be able to visit their restaurant on several occasions to sit down and talk, see their mock table settings, and sample the food. The food was excellent and the staff were very attentive, organized, and polite. We highly recommend Carson's!

Carson's Catering managed my wedding location, reception location, and catering. Tim Carson provided information regarding all pricing. There are several pricing options for every type of wedding. The wedding planning process went well once I determined what questions to ask. Tim and his staff always had the answers to all of my questions. They were very flexible with my requests and very willing to work with me to make our wedding do perfect. The catering staff that prepared the venue and catered the event were kind and professional. We appreciated all of the hard work they did to make our night run so smoothly! On top of all that...the food was phenomenal! Really...really...really...phenomenal! Makes me hungry just thinking about it!

I recommend Carson's to everyone girl I meet who is planning their wedding. Their packages are reasonably priced, and Mr. Tim Carson makes everything a breeze with having a lot of wedding musts included in those packages. His staff was AMAZING at the reception, anything our moms asked for or needed was done without a problem; they went above and beyond. We had the White Glove Buffet package, and the food was great! I was a very happy bride!

The food was great and they served the bridal table quickly. I just wish they would have stayed as long as they said they were going to. It was like we ate dinner and they were gone, no one had a chance for seconds. Overall they are very friendly and flexible. I would recommend them to anyone.

We worked with Carson's for our wedding at West Overton. I really liked that we were able to get in there the day before and do all of our setting up. Nikki was our day of contact. She was awesome. She and her staff set everything up exactly how we wanted for everything we weren't able to do the day before (it rained the day before our ceremony). They also checked in throughout the evening. Nikki ran out to get us more alcohol when we were afraid we might run out and they consolidated everything for us after the reception so that clean-up on the next day was super easy. The venue was beautiful and they were flexible with any of our requests. At times, it was difficult to get questions answered. For example, we asked about 5 times for the measurements of the barn doors so that we could get lights in there but we never got an answer so we just abandoned that idea. Overall though, our wedding was amazing! We had so much fun and everyone commented about how great and unique the venue was. If I had to do it all over again, I would still go with Carson's.
