Loved our wedding cake!

Ale made the most amazing cake for our wedding! We got so many compliments on the cake from our guests, and it looked even better than we could have envisioned! The cake also tasted incredible!

Absolutely perfect!

The cake Ale designed was even better than we imagined! It was so beautiful and delicious. Everyone loved it! Ale is also an incredibly sweet human being and was such a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed :)

Amazing cake!

She made our wedding cake and it was amazing! Every one raved about how good it was! She was very sweet and flexible when we had to reschedule the wedding due to Covid. Would recommend!

Beautiful & delicious wedding cake!

We planned our wedding from out of state, so we were not able to do a tasting beforehand, but our cake was amazing! It was so beautiful, Ale executed our vision perfectly, and it tasted amazing! My one regret from our wedding is that I didn’t eat more cake!

Looked amazing

this cake looked exactly how I wanted it too! it was amazing. it was hard to cut because of the fondant but overall it looked perfect!! we loved it, thank you!

Amazing Wedding Cake!

We were recently married at the St. Regis in Park City, Utah and were recommended Carrie's Cakes from multiple of our vendors that were helping with the wedding. We ended up with a two tier cake with 3 dozen matching cupcakes in the bourbon vanilla flavor. It was by far the BEST CAKE WE HAVE EVER TASTED! The cake was beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Carrie’s Cakes was an absolute joy to work with. She did a great job of staying within our budget while simultaneously creating the wedding cake of our dreams. We were very particular in the details of our cake and she did a perfect job of taking our ideas and turning them into a reality. The cake arrived on our wedding day and we were absolutely ecstatic with how it turned out. Not to mention the guests completely devoured the unique hibiscus flavor we chose! Carrie was amazing to work with! We needed part of our cake gluten free and I was amazed at how good it was for being GF. It was very hard to pick a flavor because they were are all so good. Carrie was able to accommodate a last minute change to our cake without a problem. The cake was absolutely beautiful and was exactly how I envisioned and more. I had family messaging me the following day telling me they couldn't stop thinking about how good the cake tasted. I'm not a huge fan of cake but Carrie made me fall in love with cake all over again. Thank you Carrie for creating the Wedding Cake of my dreams, making a tasty GF cake, and making it stress free. Your the best!

Our daughter and I did not feel the cake was important UNTIL she viewed Carrie's Cakes in person. Upon meeting Carrie, she was professional, and the cakes in her cake shop were impeccable, flawless, creative, breath taking, and trend setting. The main comments surrounding the wedding before, during, and after were first about the cake. I wanted things to be wonderful and they were. Carrie exceeded my expectations! My wedding cake was a beautiful Aspen tree, raspberry swirl cake! It was not only flawless but it tasted so moist and delicious! We had many compliments and some even thought it was made out of real tree bark! I would use Carrie again in a heartbeat, and if you are in the Salt Lake area i highly recommend her!

Carrie's cake for my daughter's recent destination wedding was an elegant and romantic masterpiece!! She effortlessly brought our vision to life and not only was the cake beyond beautiful, it was also incredibly delicious!!! (Her raspberry swirl flavor is exceptional; do yourself a favor and try it!) She is a true artist and master of her craft with amazing attention to detail. Carrie's Cakes amazed me with the design and flavor! Carrie created exactly what I envisioned and even more for my special cake. We also were able to surprise my beautiful niece with her very own cake by Carrie for her 10th birthday (which was on our wedding day). Carrie is awsome and the cake is delicious. We served the wedding cake as the actual desert of the wedding and people loved it! The cake was gorgeous and Carrie is wonderful to work with. It was stunning. I did not want to cut into it because it was so pretty. But most importantly the cake tasted AMAZING.

We were able to taste 4 different cakes at her house and customize our cake to meet our goals. We did a two tier cake ( that was pretty big) with a flat cake for guests and it worked out perfectly, the cake was very well received by all guests. We would hire her again for her beautiful cakes that taste amazing! Worth the money spent.

A few things for my wedding I had left last minute - cake and flowers. We contacted Carrie's Cakes a couple weeks out from the wedding, and she was very responsive which I really value. We were planning our wedding in Park City from Toronto, Ontario, and late one night my husband and I were sitting around with friends and the idea came to us to have a cinnamon bun wedding cake. We emailed Carrie's Cakes that night asking if she could do it and she got back to us early the next morning saying she could. I sent her a few photos from pinterest that I liked and she told us which ones would work with the lumpy shape of a 3-tier cinnamon bun cake. I swear I didn't even think about it after we sent the payment weeks out, and only realized we hadn't thought about the cake until we showed up at the reception and people were telling us how amazing our cake looked. It was so easy and everyone loved the surprise of it looking like a regular wedding cake but with delicious cinnamon buns inside the gorgeous cake instead.

Carrie did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake!!!!! We met with her and she made our vision come to reality. The cake looked perfect. She did not miss a beat on colors, flower types, design, and taste.

I thought choosing a wedding cake would be easy, but I was mistaken! There are so many choices out there and so much to do when planning a wedding that I had my mom and sister pick out my cake. I could not have been more pleased and ecstatic of how my cake looked and tasted on my wedding day! My husband and I were blown away with the design of the cake after only sharing a few "ideas". Not only did the cake look so professional and classy, it tasted fantastic! We didn't even have any leftovers (except the top layer, of course). I would absolutely recommend Carrie's Cakes for everyone's wedding cake needs!

Carrie's Cakes was so fantastic! Carrie created my wedding cake from my own design and made it even more beautiful than I could have asked for! She added her own finishing touches of some beautiful broaches, the flavors were delicious, the sugar bows were SO impressive, and the cake stand she lent us saved us a serious amount of time and money. The cake arrived on time, was set beautifully, and I never had any problems with Carrie or her team. Highly recommended and excellent value for money!!

I have to say Carrie makes the most delicious fondant. Being and out-of-town bride, she was very flexible and met us at my wedding planner's office to have a cake tasting and consultation. It was the BEST cake I have ever tasted in my life! I gave Carrie a picture of the cake I had in mind and made it even better! It was an amazing cake and I love looking at the pictures of it! I can still taste the amazing flavor!

I loved Carrie's Cakes! I saw a wedding cake that I fell in love with from Pinterest and I contacted many cake places to see if they could replicate it. One place said they couldn't even replicate it and the others were too expensive. Carrie replicated it exactly. We also got to choose different flavors for each layer of the cake! Awesome!

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I could not have loved my cake more. It was absolutely breathtaking and everything that I wanted. Carrie did an amazing job and it really was the cake of my dreams! Working with Carrie was a breeze, she is so willing to do anything you want and she also has a million examples you can choose from. I had several friends who purchased their wedding cakes from other vendors (including grocery stores---stay away ladies!) and they hated their cakes. My experience was completely different, my cake was gorgeous AND delicious! I would HIGHLY recommend using Carrie's Cakes!

I am so glad I chose Carries Cakes to do our wedding cake! We are an unconventional couple and had some unconventional ideas for the cake. As a fashion designer, I wanted aspects of sewing incorporated. Carrie took our ideas and absolutely ran with it. I was excited to see the cake and it turned out better than I had hoped! From the edible zippers and buttons to the pins and flowers (that matched the fabric flowers on my sister's sashes), it was more than I could have wished for. Carrie was fabulous to work with and got me even more excited for the wedding (if that was even possible)!

AWESOME CAKE!!!! We did a winter wedding and I wanted a mountain slope cake (we are big snowboarders) Carrie created the most delicious cake ever! The inside was oreo filling (to look like the inside of a mountain - dirt). Everyone is still talking about how great it looked and tasted! I mean, a great tasting wedding cake is so hard to find. I took left overs and was eating it all week!

Carrie's Cakes helped to create my dream wedding! The cake was not only exquisite, but delicious as well. Carrie's attention to detail and to design assured that the cake looked fantastic. Guests commented that they couldn't believe the cake was real, the lace fondant was so delicate. The almond cake was delicious, and Carrie kindly created an equally tasty gluten-free bride and groom cake. Carrie's Cakes proved a delight to work with. I highly recommend them.

We cut and served it about halfway through the reception and still brought 1 1/2 tiers home. We just finished the last of the cake on our third anniversary--and it was still SO yummy and moist! We couldn't believe that after 3 years of sitting in the back of the freezer it still tasted so fresh! We heard of Carrie's Cakes through my brother and sister-in-law who used them a few years before us and were so happy with the end result...We would recommend them to anyone!

I think Carrie's Cakes was absolutely wonderful! Not only did they give us the cake of my dreams, but they also worked directly with our florist. After going into Carrie's Cakes once, I didn't have to worry about the cake at all. It was at our wedding reception location at the exact time. I could not have asked for anything more!!

I really loved our wedding cake it was beautiful, elegant, stunning and also more importantly it was sooo good we got so many compliments. We also got a grooms cake for our rehersal dinner and it was awesome and sooo good! They were so easy to work with and I had no problems with them at all. I loved them and would highly recommend them to anyone! And if I ever need a awesome cake again I am defiantly calling them!!!

Their cakes are amazing!!!! All during the wedding, I would hear people talk about how delious the cake was, especially the two Groom's cake, which was chocolate with choc. covered strawberries on top....mt husband and I din't even get a piece, it was gone before we even knew it. I HIGHLY recommend!!!! She was very perfessional and knew exactly how I wanted my wedding cake to look and made it even more beautiful then I even imagine!!! (700 for three cakes---the wedding was three tiers as well).

Carrie made the most beautiful cake in the whole wide world. I brought her a photo out of Martha Stewart living, and she made the cake for beautiful that that one, and it tasted delicious. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Carries Cakes did an amazing job on our wedding cake. We found a simple picture that we liked and they recreated it perfectly! They delivered the cake to our venue and rented a cake stand to us. And the flavors were amazing!! It was difficult to choose what flavors we wanted at the cake tasting because they were all delicious! We chose chocolate, raspberry swirl and lemon- they were moist and soooo amazing, everyone loved the cake! I highly recommend them.

Great tasting cake, kinda pricey (but I was willing to pay for her quality as opposed to other cakes I tasted which were not as good), very professional. My one complaint is that she missed the details of the cake on the picture I gave to her. It was a simple multi-layer cake with buttercream only and beading around the base of each tier. When my wedding cake arrived, it was missing the beading and there was nothing I could do about it at that point. She and her husband are great, but DEFINITELY communicate EVERY DETAIL that you want included! Don't just assume she'll get it from the picture you leave with her.

Carrie was a pleasure to work with and her cake is to die for. The flavors she offers and the texture of her cake sets her above the rest. Her designs are beautiful too! Her creativity and artistic ability is the best. I enjoyed working with Carrie not only because of her quality but also because she listens and gives you what you want. Come to Carrie with ideas of what you want but I recommend giving her artistic freedom. You wont regret it. Carrie runs her business from her home. That's a good thing to note when you are driving to her place of business when doing a consultation. Be sure to keep track of your receipts when you make payments too. The only slight issue I had with Carrie was she had followed up with me about making my final payment when I already had. When I followed up with her she looked up my file and found the receipt, so really there was no issue. For some reason she didn't see it the first time she emailed me.

The cake was amazing and I was pleased with the service I received. They offered me lots of samples of cake and gave suggestions when my fiance and I had a hard time picking! My only complaint is that they left the cake in the kitchen at the reception site without telling anyone, so the florist had to hang around for a while because we didn't know it was there. They are a little more expenisive, especially for the area, but the cake was great! Also, we chose to use them because two of my husband's siblings used them for their weddings and were happy with the result.

My cake was AMAZING!! I had a very distinct look, and they did it perfectly!! Everyone was so impressed with it! It was a little expensive.. But worth it! I had 2 layers Raspberry Swirl, and 2 layers Chocolate with bavarian cream! It was delicious! SO moist! And i loved the taste of the fondant! Took a while to get a call back! But i would definitely go back!

Carrie's Cakes made a beautiful cake for or wedding. It really was gorgeous, however I felt we paid too much for how big the cake was and how many it fed. The taste wasn't anything extradordinary either. It sure does look beautiful in our pictures though!

Carrie's Cakes did a wonderful job on our wedding cake, it was a 3-tier wedding cake that was button tufted to perfection. I would recommend them again to anyone, though we did have one slight down fall, our 2nd tier was supposed to be a different flavor than the other tiers and during the wedding we were saddened to find out that it was not a different flavor than the rest of the cake... but they still did a great job. Also, they delivered for free as we had used them before.

Carries Cakes are beautiful, delicious, and amazing! Carrie is so talented, she can customize any cake and make your dreams reality! Oh, and if you buy her cake, you MUST PLAN ON SERVING IT! Her cakes are delicious! She even lets you try different flavors during your consultation!
The only problem I had was that she didn't put the flower that my florist provided in the cake, so I had to do it really quick before the reception.

I ordered a very simple cake and it looked very clean, but the taste wasn't amazing. It was a chocolate cake with buttercream filling and a fondant cover. Around the buttercream was good, but the rest of the cake was dry.

The cake we chose was homemade with homemade frosting and fondant. It was really good with the exception of having too much frosting. The price for the cake is not something I'll pay again, but the did deliver and set up the cake. They were really easy to talk to and they helped me decide what cake would go well with the style of my wedding.

The cake was very pretty, but not he cake I ordered. The taste was ok, but nothing special. The fondant and frosting were good, but the cake was very dry. Hardly anyone finished there cake. Most of the cake was wasted because guests didn't like it.

I ordered carries cake for my dream cake. it was pritty but tasted awfull not only that but back when i ordered it she didnt mention that the flowers were not inculeded so i had no flowers on my plain white cake last minute. then when we eat it my whole wedding party tells me how bad it taste and i paid good money for what was my dream cake. First of all, the cake was delicious. Everyone was thrilled with how it tasted. My problem was with how it looked. I ordered a cake with hand frosted paisleys on it. The picture on her website had 3 or 4 large paisleys, but I wanted more than that. She told me they were very time consuming to frost on and so she would need to charge me an additional $200 to add more paisleys. I was fine with that because they looked so intricate and lovely. When I saw the cake at the wedding I was very sad and disappointed. She used a different color blue frosting than the one we had agreed on, so it didn't match the color scheme at all. But the thing that really made me sad was that she used cheap looking paisleys that looked like they were an applique. They had the outline of a paisley then a simple flower in the middle. They were 100% different than what I had ordered and they looked to be cheap, simple and easy. Not only had we paid extra for hand painted decorations that we didn't get, but this looked to be a much cheaper cake than the basic cake we ordered. My mom contacted her (it took two attempts before she would call my mom back) and she made a sheet cake for us to use at a different event for free, but that still comes no where close to the amount we paid for the cake we didn't receive. I would not recommend her.

I scheduled a time to meet with her for a consultation and we agreed on a day and time. When we arrived all the doors were open but she wasn't there. We called around 6 times and rang the doorbell more than that. I even sent a couple of emails. We hung around for about 20 minutes before leaving. 24 hrs later and I still haven't gotten a response to any of it. I found it very rude that she didn't even tell me she had cancelled the appointment since we drove all the way there, and I didn't even get the decency of a response to why we were "stood up".

I will admit the cake looked pretty but it was not cooked all the way through so when it was cut into it was mush and fell apart. I asked for a tilted cake but when we got it, it looked like it was just sagging from being in the sun to long (which it wasn't in the sun). I also had two sheet cakes made, again they looked good but tasted aweful. When we called to complain and get our money back no one would return calls or emails. I was really disappointed with the way the cakes turned out and how they won't respond to anything.
