Courtney Sent on 10/06/2017We feel so lucky to have been able to work with Carrie for our wedding in July. When we received the finished photos we were so blown away by how much emotion she and her team was able to capture throughout the day. We were left with plenty of gorgeous portraits that we'll look back on for years to come and candid moments that will always remind us of just what an amazing day it was. Carrie goes above and beyond to make sure everything is absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the area.
P.S. She also spent a freezing November afternoon with us for our engagement session because she knew it was the only time we could be in town. She made it look like we weren't shivering the whole time and we could not be more grateful. Just an absolute pro through and through. -

Her photos throughout the ceremony and the reception perfectly captured the essence of the day! Equally as important, the photos were never invasive or felt forced. We've heard from countless friends and family regarding how beautiful they thought the pictures turned out!
She had great suggestions for photos and also to do a "first look" to be more at ease during the ceremony. She was also always responsive via email or phone for whatever questions we had. Carrie's turnaround time was very timely and she provides photos via her website (which you can easily share with family and friends for them to download) and also on a flash drive. All this for a reasonable price and a friendly, professional person to work with!
We will definitely be hiring her again for family portraits when the time comes :)

User1596176 Sent on 04/24/2014I can't say enough good things about Carrie. She is warm, calming, unobtrusive, and has a beautiful aesthetic. I know she considers her style contemporary, but our setting was a rustic barn and couldn't have been more old-fashioned. Our wedding photos are stunning--so soft and lovely; she totally captured the warmth of the whole event, from getting ready to the sparkler send-off. Carrie was generous with her time and her pricing couldn't be beat--she cost half of what other photographers quoted us, and allowed us use of all our images with no obligation to order albums or prints. Her price also included a pre-wedding engagement session, which she explains, gives the couple some relaxed time to build a sense of rapport and comfort with her--and that was true. It also gave us the opportunity to think about what kinds of shots we'd want or want to avoid on our wedding day. On the day itself, Carrie helped me to stay on schedule, and she captured incredibly intimate moments without anyone even noticing her presence. Carrie has incredible talent--you would be wise to include her on your big day.
