Holly was so wonderful to work with and her floral design skills are incredible. She truly is a master at the craft and was able to take our floral vision for our fall wedding and not only nailed it, but exceeded all our expectations and completely blew us away!
When Holly and her assistant brought the bridal party bouquets into the bridal house on wedding day, I almost cried happy tears because they were so beautiful. The colors and the arrangements were exactly what I envisioned; it was like Holly had gotten inside my brain and replicated my dream floral arrangements, only better, and I was obsessed with my bouquet! The flowers were so fresh and every single petal was perfect, and they were so stunning against the autumn colors of Shenandoah National Park, our wedding venue’s backdrop.
My guests were also very impressed by the flowers; we received a ton of compliments, especially on our unique grounded florals for our ceremony which we were able to repurpose for the reception.
Holly is also a fantastic communicator and replied quickly to any questions I had and was very flexible with a few modifications I had at our 30 day out check-in call. She was so kind and positive throughout the planning process and put me at ease when it came to the wedding florals. She was able to also work within my budget! I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work with Holly, and I highly recommend her if you are considering hiring her for your wedding floral needs! -

Holly is GREAT!
We didn't give Holly a lot of time to prepare for the wedding. Flowers were one of the last things on our list in a fairly short planning window (our daughter had figured she could use silk if needed). But Holly was AMAZING and so incredibly easy to work with (excellent communication and responsiveness), and the flowers turned out PERFECTLY. -

Holly absolutely crushed our wedding florals! From the start she was patient and flexible as we learned what was possible with our modest budget. She recommended ways to execute our vision within our budget from the very start, and when we ended up with more tables and needing more flowers she pivoted with us to make sure we didn't have to compromise. The flowers ended up STUNNING and blended perfectly with my dress and the venue as a whole, and she even suggested a few tiny changes to what we discussed originally to make them even more beautiful. I can't recommend her highly enough. -

Holly from Carper's weddings and events was amazing! Helped with customizations while sticking to budget
This review is embarrassingly-long overdue as we reach the first year anniversary of our wedding. Holly was great to work with. I cannot recommend her enough! She was very creative and flexible to come up with a proposal that would align to our budget. She was super organized and communication/payment was a breeze! A few days before the ceremony, she emailed us that the white anemone that we had selected for our arrangements didn't come out right and she immediately provided an alternative that would fit our needs. The arrangements (bridal bouquet, 2 small bouquets for the wedding party, boutonnieres, an arrangement for the cake and an arrangement for the sweetheart table) were GORGEOUS. Holly was also super kind to help us place the cake arrangement as the bakery didn't agree to take on this. Holly is very talented and provided an excellent quality of services. We could not be happier with our choice! -

Carper's Weddings was AMAZING!
Holly at Carper's Weddings was absolutely amazing! She made the entire process such a breeze, and the results were beautiful. We didn't have a great vision for my flowers and Holly was able to take the few pictures I sent and make the final result exactly what we wanted. Her communication was always quick and she was flexible with every change I asked for along the way. I would recommend using Carper's Weddings for any flowers in the future!

Carper’s was super easy and pleasant to work with throughout the entire planning process of designing my bouquet and flowers for my wedding this past April. The flowers arrived at my venue on time and were arranged so beautifully. She took great care to make sure she knew what I was looking for and did an amazing job of interpreting what flowers would work best for the look and feel I was wanting and I was blown away when I first saw my bouquet. It was beautiful! Very much exceeded my expectations and helped to make my special day that much more special. I highly recommend Carper’s for any of your florist needs! -

Holly made all of my wedding floral dreams come true! Flowers were the thing I was most “bridezilla” about but from our early email exchanges through her delivery on the day, Holly handled my requests with the utmost grace. She was incredibly professional to work with.
After describing my wildflower vision to Holly, she sent me a slew of bouquet styles and images of flowers that she could use to create similar styles that looked native to Virginia. She adjusted order size as our bridal party changed and added pieces as we became more familiar with our venue and where we could use flowers. She even made things movable to help us save costs & repurpose throughout the night. Finally, she allowed me to send several of my late father’s ties, wrapping my bouquet with the one that matched the best.
On the day, her artistry exceeded any and all of my expectations. Her artistry was so beautiful that I’m having the flowers preserved. We’d highly recommend Holly Carper! -

Hire Holly. I wanted to do DIY to save on price. But then I became overwhelmed trying to figure it out, and I become very obsessed with the idea of chandeliers having draping greenery. I felt like the price was too high for our budget. I was wrong!!! It was worth every single penny and the highlight of all our vendors. Holly made the room MAGICAL and exactly what we were envisioning. She made stunning bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, and a ceremony arch.
There are two moments that stick out in my mind from the night and they both have flowers highlighted. One: the stunning flowers for the ceremony on our arch. Two: dancing under dangling, enchanting greenery, during our first dance. I felt like I was in a movie or my own music video. I keep remembering doing dips and spins and looking up to feel like I was in a fairytale.
I also had a very clear vision of what flowers I wanted, but roses weren’t doable with our budget, so Holly helped us problem solve. We put roses in my bouquet and burgundy carnations in my bridesmaids and as table accents…wow what a cost savings and great solution. It made the roses stand out more too! She puts in care and listens. We spoke with her several times, and she listened and offered solutions to help met all our expectations and goals.
Even my dad said these were the prettiest bouquets he had ever seen!! Holly also made our mom’s special corsages and our mom’s loved them. I feel like I can keep rambling about Holly, but point blank, you will not be disappointed.
Flowers with Holly are not just an investment they are an essential part to making your wedding vision come true.

Hire Holly Now!
Holly is a GEM. She made my wedding vision come to life with her gorgeous florals. She worked within my budget and was able to pick out local florals as well as in season florals so I didn't blow my budget. She also last minute gave me extra florals to add to my hair which completely finished my entire wedding look and extra greenery to decorate our welcome sign. She is SO talented and also affordable and the sweetest. Hire her NOW if you have an upcoming wedding, you wont regret it. -

Amazing floral
Holly was phenomenal to work with. She not only worked within my budget, but my wedding was truly phenomenal and the florals are still talked about to this day. I enjoyed working with her so much my sister even hired her for her wedding set for June next year. Don’t look elsewhere. You want to book this florist. She truly does an amazing job at understanding a brides vision and putting it into reality. -

Perfect Summer Wedding Flowers
Holly was nothing short of amazing! I knew that I liked the color yellow but she took that and created absolutely beautiful centerpieces, arch decorations, and bouquets that were perfect for our outdoor wedding. She was so flexible during COVID and adapted to our new wedding date without a problem. -

I know next to nothing about flowers. I’m bad at matching colors too. Plus, I really hadn’t been to many weddings. I didn’t even know what I could use flowers for other than the bridal bouquet. I felt lost. I met Holly for lunch and I told her I had no idea what I was doing and she helped me and in the end it turned out to be amazing. Plus now I know the name of a handful of flowers that look nice. If she can help me, she can help just about anyone. -

The flowers were lovely and unique. Just what my daughter wanted. I gave Holly little strings of LED lights and she incorporated them into the centerpieces the day of the event. Lovely! Amazing! -

My wedding is the day before Mother’s Day and no flower shop would do any flowers for my wedding. Carper wedding was fast with responding and very understanding. Her prices are extremely resonance and I could not be more satisfied! -

Quality with affordability
Holly got hired for two reason: her cost (seriously though it’s so affordable), and her responsiveness. I was waiting for days to hear back from other florists, and she had responded to me within a couple hours. She was so easy to work with and gave great advice for my indecisiveness. She allowed me to make changes and additions up until the month before, and that was a lifesaver considering I needed to add more things on later! Her flowers were beautiful and everything I had hoped for and I am so happy we hired Carper’s. I know, any other events I have, I will be going back here. There is no one else I trust to bring my visions to life. -

I showed her 5 photos and said vaguely what I wanted, and I kid you not, she created exactly what I had in mind for my arbor, bouquets, centerpieces, boutonnieres, etc. Holly is incredibly responsive and professional. The week before my wedding, I sent her a panic email asking her to create centerpieces for my wedding, and she came through without missing a beat. Dan Sent on 06/19/2018Carper's was fantastic for our wedding in Luray. We sent her a picture of a bouquet I liked and she sent us a list and pictures of the flowers she proposed using. She sent a detailed list of flowers she would use for each piece and the pricing was transparent. The flowers were beautiful. Carper's provided delivery and setup including mounting beautiful arrangements on the arch at the venue and providing extra flowers for the cake. The bouquets and boutonnieres were also lovely.
