Perfect Alterations

I used Carolyn Allen's Bridal for my wedding dress alterations. They were quick, affordable, kind, and THOROUGH. They didn't rush me in and out and really listened to my concerns even if they were crazy (just a bride, being a bride). I went to a fitting alone and starting crying over the dress being a little too tight - they sprung into action, consoled, reassured me, and made sure they explained their resolution. My dress looked perfect and would highly recommend.

Incredible Bridal Shop

Carolyn Allen’s is a wonderful bridal shop! The family has been like a family to mine between my sisters wedding last year and mine this year. Such a sweet family that went the extra mile to make sure my dress was perfect for my big day. Definitely recommend this shop!!

Skilled and personable shop!

A small and friendly shop! I love how I got to view photos of their available dresses in a binder, rather than sifting through racks of dresses. It made it so much easier, especially because I had no idea what I wanted in a dress! They even have their binders organized by price so you can make sure you stay within your budget. Sue and her family always welcomed me with open arms each visit, and made me feel comfortable. They share in the excitement of your big day! They’re knowledgeable about dresses and the wedding industry, and ensured my dress was altered exactly to my liking. Thank you Carolyn Allen’s for helping me find the most important dress I will ever purchase!

Perfect for Alterations and Tailoring for Wedding

Best of the Best!

Sue and her team are amazing at what they do! They came to our resort room to steam 6 gowns, 1 bridal gown, and press 7 suits! They were completely finished in less than 2 hours! They are so careful with each garment and are so sweet and easy to talk to! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is inquiring!

A delightful family business worth visiting!

I was referred to Carolyn Allen's Bridal by a random stranger on Facebook who absolutely RAVED about them. And I am not disappointed! Sue and her family are the kindest, sweetest people you will ever meet, and are committed to making you feel like a princess for your special day. She even customized the sleeves of my dress to make it a unique reflection of me. It's clear that she takes great care and pride in her work. I had visited another dress shop in downtown Orlando to look at the same dress, but chose to drive further to Carolyn Allen's because of the attentive service and professionalism that I found there. I very highly recommend!

Great Experience from Start to Finish

I had a fantastic experience working with Carolyn Allen Bridals for my wedding dress. Kathleen was very helpful when I went in to try on dresses. She provided a book to look through to pick which dresses I wanted to try on, and based on my style she provided some additional selections as well. She did not put any pressure on me during the shopping experience and allowed me to come back before I purchased to try on the dress once more. Many other stores that I visited had rules about how many dresses you could try or whether you could take pictures, but Carolyn Allen was extremely flexible and accommodating during shopping.
I ended up buying a Stella York sample dress on a huge sale that was well under my budget. I knew the dress would need a lot of alterations, but Sue was there when I was purchasing my dress to talk me through what work she could do to make the dress fit me. When it came time to do the alterations, Sue had to practically rebuild the dress, but she did an amazing job! She was so patient when I asked for every little detail to be perfect, and the extensive alterations were extremely affordable. By the end of the process, Kathleen and Sue made me feel like family! I’m so glad I ended up at Carolyn Allen – you will truly be taken care of and receive top-notch service!

Wedding Dress and Bridesmaids Dress

I had researched the style of dress as soon as I got engaged. Stella York was the designer that I was drawn too. Carolyn Allen carried wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses (Sorella Vita). When I arrived I felt very comfortable. As I tried on many dresses the staff was very patient, accommodating and informative. The have been around and seen it all when it comes to weddings. I also had my bridesmaids buy their dresses there as well. The majority of my bridesmaids went back to get their dress altered there. Everyone of them mentioned to me how nice and accommodating the staff was. I will be going back to them to get my dress preserved, cleaned and would recommend alterations as well!! Great place that treats you like family!

Amazing experience!

Our wedding was at Disney, and I needed my dress as well as my Mom's dress steamed. They did a fabulous job and were wonderful to work with throughout the whole process!

Saved the Day!

I had arranged for Carolyn Allen's to steam my dress the day before my Disney wedding - They were so great to work with! They were so accommodating and it was so convenient that they were able to come to our hotel to do the steaming services. Sue absolutely saved the day - Not only did she do the steaming, but upon arriving in Florida, we discovered that somehow during our travels there were a few spots on the gown that had become discolored. I was absolutely horrified, but Sue was able to get the spots out completely!! I was amazed!

Highly Recommend!

Sue and her husband who run the store are incredible! Such fun and caring people! They have a wide selection of dresses and were able to find me many dresses to try on in the style I was looking for. They are super easy to work with and have very reasonable pricing! Everyone loved my dress on my wedding day! Thank you!!

Fast great service

Brought her my wedding dress 6 weeks before my wedding to be altered and she did a fantastic job!! She hemmed the bottom of my dress and shortened the straps, with enough time to do anything else I would need after my final fitting! She was so kind and professional and also altered my mother’s dress is 2 weeks to exactly what she wanted!!

We used Carolyn Allen's for multiple services: gown steaming, tuxedo rentals, gown cleaning/preservation. Kathleen and her parents were absolutely wonderful to work with. We were planning a destination wedding so there was a lot of anxiety and nerves around these particular services but we could not have been happier working with them- they were incredibly responsive to my many questions and their willingness to travel to our hotels for the rental fittings, steaming, drop-offs, and pick-ups, etc. was incredibly wonderful and appreciated.
Since we were traveling I was actually able to carry my wedding dress with me, but I know many others that have used their services and shipped their dresses to them in advance, so that's a great option if you need it. Plus their willingness to accommodate our schedules in terms of picking up the rentals and my dress after the wedding was so nice and a huge relief. I also got my cleaned and preserved wedding dress back shipped back home to me in great time and condition. I could go on and on, but basically they're great and the best and I could not recommend them highly enough.

I started looking for my bridal dress around 2 months before my wedding day, visited a few popular bridal shops in Orlando but didn't find a special dress for my wedding, special customer service or the guidance you need when shopping for your wedding dress. I found Carolyn's Allen's shop conveniently located by the Premium Outlets. I called and got an appointment set up for the same day, I asked if I could bring my 9 month old baby and they actually loved it. In less than an hour I found my perfect dress !! It was a pleasure dealing with this family run business. Everyone is extremely friendly, courteous and professional. They are keen on listening to your needs and finding the perfect dress within your budget. Sue did an amazing job altering my dress and designing straps for me. They were also very helpful in assisting my husband find the right tuxedo rental.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this shop. Sue and Keith became friends throughout the process. They were patient in the choosing process and offered their thoughts and suggestions, were helpful and flexible if I needed to reschedule a fitting, and really cared about making sure my dress was perfect for my special day. Carolyn Allen Bridal is an exceptional place - it is a family owned and family operated business in Orlando. Sue and Keith, the owners, are very professional and attentive, not to mention fun to be with! :) Sue is able to guide you in the selection of a dress that is the best for each bride. They have a good selection of beautiful designer dresses, many of which are available on sale, as they are off-rack. Sue and Keith helped my daughter find the perfect dress that she felt beautiful in, and then Sue tailored it to fit her perfectly, hemming it and pulling it in at the waist and the chest, so that she felt comfortable and confident to walk the aisle and then dance the night away. Sue is a fantastic seamstress and very professional. She did all of the pinning, tucking, and sewing herself. Very, very happy!!

I had a wonderful experience with this bridal shop. I had a multicultural wedding so there were two ceremonies. I bought my American wedding dress here and ordered the other outfit from India. Sue was kind enough to stitch my top for the Indian outfit and it turned out beautifully! I was in love with both of my outfits and so happy with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff here. They knew who I was each time I came in for my fittings which made it seem like I was visiting a friend. I would highly recommend this establishment to any bride.

This is such a wonderful bridal salon. I had been to three others on my hunt for the perfect dress. A coworker recommended Carolyn Allen's, because they had done amazing alterations on her dress. I am so fortunate that she recommended them. I was surprised to find that they had all the dresses I had been pinning on pinterest! I decided on a Stella York gown, and I was impressed by the reasonable prices. Even the extensive alterations were well below my budget.

The entire team there makes you feel like part of a family. Their goal is to make sure you love how you look and that the dress fits perfectly. I am a petite, plus-size girl, and I never thought I would feel as beautiful as I did. I loved my dress but I was hoping for a more modest neckline. They recommended a custom alteration using beaded sleeves as an addition to the neckline. The end result was gorgeous! They were patient with me at each fitting and you could tell that they genuinely cared about the customers and the work they did. Their attention to detail and genuine care is more than I ever expected.

They have my highest recommendation, and I cannot thank them enough!

Prompt, really friendly, and did a quick and fantastic job steaming my gown, my bridesmaids' dresses, and the MOB/MOG dresses! They had to come to my hotel room at 8 am to be finished before the hair/makeup started, but they were a pleasant start to our morning. Even better, the preservation service was so easy to use - I just left the gown and the form with bell services, and they texted me within 15 minutes that they had picked it up! So stress-free, the whole experience was great.

The couple who own Carolyn Allen's Bridal are by far the nicest couple I have ever met. The lady works with you the entire time, making sure that you are happy with your dress choice and she is very honest, which is awesome! The have a wide variety of dresses to choose from and they make you feel so comfortable when you are there! I would definitely recommend them!!

If there was a way to rate them 10 out of 5, I would in a heartbeat!! The staff here is so amazing. We enjoyed going to visit them for fittings and are definitely going to stop in occasionally just to visit them even though the wedding is over :). I found them by looking for a designer that isn't carried in most stores, and was pleased with their selections. They keep up with current styles and new designs, my dress was not even out on the designers website before I got to try it on. And the alterations were done with dedication and an eye for detail. I never felt pushed, rushed, or ignored. Everything turned out perfect, and I love the way my dress looked in pictures! THANK YOU GUYS!

ALSO, get your bridesmaids, groom, and groomsmen attire there as well! I didn't and I regret it so much!!

I don't even know where to begin with them. From beginning, dress shopping and finding my perfect dress with my friends and family, to end, my final fitting after several rounds of alterations, Carolyn Allen's was FANTASTIC. Beyond perfect!! Above and beyond my wildest expectations! The most sincere family owned business in the game. They heard exactly what I wanted, and pulled the dress of my dreams straight off the bat.

I originally walked in because they are a Stella York distributer. Not one did they have my favorite gown designer but they had the dress I had been eying for years.

They do the alterations in house, give you the most personalized experience, and genuinely treat you like family. I actually cried walking out of my final fitting because I will miss seeing this family frequently! The best part of my wedding planning experience, hands down. They even delivered my dress on the wedding day! Just the best!!

I live in the Los Angeles area and decided on a destination wedding at Disney World. Our wedding coordinator recommended Carolyn Allen's for dress storage, delivery, and steaming services. Everything was so simple and efficient; we had great email communication and everything was made very clear regarding pricing. My dress shipped out about 2 weeks prior to the wedding and they called me as soon as it arrived in their shop. They delivered my dress directly to my hotel room, steamed my dress and veil, and also steamed my mother-in-law's dress and husband's suit. Everyone I interacted with was so nice, knew all about Disney weddings and our wedding venue, and even gave us some recommendations for things to do in the park!

Carolyn Allen's was the first place I walked into to try on dresses, and it turned out to be exactly where I needed to go. You truly feel welcome there from the moment you step in the door. The appointment times are booked well so you never feel rushed, and you get the attention and care that you need. I never felt any pressure at all. As a followup, I was emailed some new styles that came in, and immediately set an appointment for one of those dresses. It turned out to be my perfect dress. It was then altered just in a few places to make me feel just perfect for my big day. Each time I went in for a fitting (which was a good two hour drive), I can say I looked forward to seeing everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I definitely recommend a visit there for your wedding needs.

Seriously... do not go anywhere else. From the moment I walked in for my appointment I felt taken care of and in very competent hands. I got to select from pictures what I wanted to try on versus someone just pulling random dresses off the rack. They listened to my feedback about the dresses I was trying on and were able to make wonderful recommendations of dresses they were familiar with in the shop. We found something in a matter of hours, it was on sale, and they were able to make all the alterations on site. They were always prepared for me to visit for fittings and were so pleasant to be around. They got to know my family that was waiting, provided a personalized experienced and would remember things that I told them from visit to visit. They are true professionals and so good at what they do. I didn't worry about anything. They were so patient with me when I was indecisive and never made a face, look or even whispered a negative thought about trying out different dresses or during the alteration brainstorm. I wanted to add some sparkly material to the dress and they just got it, they totally got my vision. They were so helpful in assisting me with decisions and options. I really can't say enough about this place. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

I may be a little premature in this review since my process is not yet final... But to date the Bridal shop has been Amazing!!! From the very first call, trying on all the gowns to purchasing the One that brought me here in the first place! Love it! Gown came in much quicker than I anticipated, tried it on yesterday! My first fitting is in Dec when my mom comes to town, I can't wait for her to meet these Fabulous women! They sure gave taken alot of stress off my shoulders!

We did a Walt Disney World Wedding on July 13th, 2015 and we had traveled in from New York City with all of our suits and gowns. Carolyn Allen's did such an amazing job pressing and steaming all of our wedding attire. We made a reservation ahead of time for them to come to our room at Disney's Beach Club Resort. They showed up right on time and did my wedding gown, 2 suits, and 3 gowns (she even steamed my husband's rehearsal outfit for not extra charge) in less than an hour! The prices were very reasonable and they were extremely professional. I would highly recommend them!

Carolyn Allen's turned out to be a great choice. Sue and her daughter were always responsive. My MOH and I enjoyed every visit and appreciated their feedback and personal touch in choosing the gown and alterations. As a more mature bride they were easy and fun to work with every step of the way. They were never presumptuous, which was high on my list for finding a vendor to work with on my gown. Prices were reasonable too.

They also altered my future mother-in-laws dress. She is 90 years old and they were patient, gentle, and just delightful in working with her. We had the pleasure of meeting Keith at one of my final fittings and enjoyed those interactions with him as well. I would strongly recommend their intimate shop.

I used to work at The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes and whenever a bride or wedding party needed something in a pinch, we reached out to Carolyn Allen's. Over the years, I have recommended them to all my friends. When it was finally my turn to get married, I knew this was the place to go. The veil was one of the most important things about my wedding. I really wanted a cathedral veil with lace starting at the fingertips. Everywhere I went, those veils were over $1000 and that was waaayyyy out of my budget. The veils I did find that were within my budget were awful and cheap-looking. Sue suggested we make our own. I ordered a veil from them and at their suggestion, I went to the Sewing Studio in Maitland and picked out beautiful lace. Sue cut the lace and sewed it onto the veil... I literally cried when I saw it. It was one of the most beautiful veils I'd ever seen. We also did our tuxedo rentals with Carolyn Allen's and they were perfect! If you are looking for an intimate and genuinely friendly wedding boutique, this is the place- they will really make all your dreams come true!

When I made my appointment, it was out of their hours of operations (my wedding was on a Monday morning). They were able to accomodate and scheduled a steaming Sunday afternoon. Though I wasn't in the room when they did the steaming, my MOH informed me that it was quick, professional, and funny (Keith is a trip!). When I arrived, my dress looked great.. all wrinkles from moving the dress from Dallas to Orlando disappeared. In addition, they were easy to communicate with. Every time I called, someone answered timely, spoke kindly and professionally (once again, Keith is a trip!), and called me back if they had to take a while to provide an answer to a question. I found my perfect wedding dress at Carolyn Allen's! The staff was super friendly, it was easy to make an appointment to try on my dress, and for alterations. This is a small bridal shop tucked away in the Publix Plaza in Williamsburg. I am SO glad I found it! This was actually my first stop in my dress shopping. They were very helpful while trying dresses on and not pushy at all when I told them I was going to look at some other places. I ended up purchasing my dress from a great organization called Brides Against Breast Cancer. My Dress needed some major alterations, so I brought it back to Sue at Carolyn Allen's. Sue is amazing! They didn't care that I didn't get the dress from them (unlike David's Bridal) they even mentioned that they donate dresses to Brides against Breast Cancer as well!

Every time I walked into the shop, I was greeted by their friendly staff, usually by Keith whom always had a joke to tell, or loved to talk about the great brides they work with.
Sue worked magic on my dress, that was probably 6 sizes too large. She worked with me until it was perfect and she knew I was happy with it. She offered great suggestions on making it fit best for me. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, and I was never charged extra from my original quote, even though I know she needed to make additional adjustments to my dress.

This shop, and their friendly staff was probably one of the best experiences of my wedding planning process. I was always excited to walk in, talk to them (Felt like I was hanging out with them) and try on my dress.

Sue, I can't thank you enough for your care and attention to detail with my dress. You were a big part in making me feel absolutely stunning on my big day!

Sue and Keith at Carolyn Allen's are two of the nicest people I've ever met. I met them at a bridal show and after trying on about 20 other dresses something told me to go to their store. They made my family and I feel right at home. They have a great selection of dresses to choose from and they don't pressure you at all. I then was able to get all of my bridesmaids dresses as well. I have a busy work schedule and they did not hesitate to accommodate me for my fittings even after hours. My now husband needed tailoring last minute and they got him right in to get his suit perfect for our big day. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Going to their store was the best decision I made!!!

Carolyn Allen's entire staff was a pleasure to work with. Sue is the absolute best, all of the dresses looked beautiful and the tuxes looked great too! She is amazing at alterations, and the staff is so friendly and easy to work with. I send all of my friends there to look for dresses, it's such a great private environment from shopping, to fittings. They even delivered the dresses and tuxes to the hotel I got married at, and picked up the tuxes from the bell stand on Sunday.

If you need to rent a tuxedo in Central Florida, you would be foolish not to use Carolyn Allen's Bridal & Tuxedos. While Mens' Wearhouse and Joseph A. Bank do have good tuxes, they don't have what Carolyn Allen's Bridal has: Keith and Sue.

From the very first fitting to picking up the tuxes the week of the wedding, this little shop treats you like celebrities. Keith has access to tons of different fashion styles and tux or suit cuts and takes the time to make sure you are getting the exact fit and style that you want. He's been in the business for over 20 years and is clearly an expert at making people look and feel great on their wedding day.

As for flexibility, I wish I could give him more than a 5. Both my groom and his best man lost a significant amount of weight before the wedding, and Keith was able to expertly tailor their tuxes within a week of the wedding. We were interested in self-tie bow ties and Keith and Sue were more than willing to sew some up from excess bridesmaids' dress fabric. The tuxes fit perfectly and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I also decided to get my bridesmaids' dresses from here and the girls had a great time working with Keith and Sue.

Loved Sue and family at Carolyn Allens. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. I found the most beautiful dress that no one else near carried. When i came back for my fitting i was only there for 3 days ( i live 3 hours away ) she completed my alterations in 24 hours and for far less than i expected. I would highly recommend this vendor for your tux/suit needs!! The shop is small but they have SO many options available. We were married at the Buena Vista Palace November 23, and were able to have all the out of town tuxes ordered and paid for online. When they arrived in town the groomsmen went to the shop to ensure that everything would fit perfectly. The tuxes were delivered to the hotel the day before the wedding and were picked up the day after. Not having to rush to pick up and return things was an amazing time saver! Also we had several out of town bridesmaids and were able to have their dresses steamed and delivered to the room the day of the wedding. It was great working with Carolyn Allen's!

I had emailed back and forth with Kat at Carolyn Allen’s Bridals before I went in for my first appointment, to let her know what styles and designers I was most interested in. She had multiple styles ready for me to try when I came in, and I eventually purchased the very first dress she had had me try on (a David Tutera for Mon Cheri style)! I am absolutely in love with my dress and the way it turned out thanks to the staff at Carolyn Allen’s. Sue, the head of this family-run bridal shop, does the best job on alterations that I have ever seen. She is so thorough and knowledgeable, and really listens to you to make sure that you are feeling your absolute best when you step into your gown on your wedding day. I had three separate fittings with them after my dress came in, just to ensure that every last measurement and detail was perfect, and then they steamed my dress and veil once more before the big day. I am so glad that I found them, as I think that finding a staff that cares so deeply about their clientele is rare to find these days. Their results speak for themselves, and the value you get with them is absolutely unbeatable.

We rented tuxedos for the wedding party and family from Carolyn Allen’s, and Keith and Sue were great and easy to work with from the beginning. I can't say enough about Carolyn Allen's. From the moment I contacted them about storing and steaming my wedding gown for my Walt Disney World wedding they were very professional and responsive. The online ordering and payment was very straightforward. I was very nervous about shipping my dress from Philadelphia to Orlando, however, the process was simple and they let me know as soon as the dress arrived. They came to my resort the morning of the wedding, bringing my wedding gown with them, and put the finishing touches on it so that it looked perfect for the big day. Our wedding was a destination wedding. We had to fly from Michigan to Florida and I didn't want to have to check my dress. We did some investigation and found Carolyn Allen's Bridal accepts dresses, and will press them, and deliver them to the hotel before the wedding.

There services were prefect! They showed up promptly when they were supposed to. The dresses were beautifully steamed and ready to wear. They request that you setup additional time for them to resteam the dress when they get to your room, but it was not necessary for my wedding gown or any of the bridesmaids.

I highly recommend them.

The service and people at Carolyn Allen are simply wonderful. I am actually still trying to decide whether I am getting a dress from them or a dress I also like at another shop. The fact that I would love to give this shop my business is a huge factor in my decision. It is family owned, and they give you their complete undivided attention when you are there. The woman who does the alterations was on hand for every dress I tried on, giving input on what would need to be altered and estimating what alterations would cost. It was extremely helpful. After going to a couple of pushy, impersonal tux rental places...we really felt comfortable at Carolyn Allen. Keith and Sue really care about your wedding, get to know you and make you feel like family. I loved that they delievered and picked up the tuxs from our hotel. We had many out of town groomsmen who didn't get a chance to try on the tux before hand. Sue came to the hotel the morning of the wedding to fix sizing or exchange for a better size. Sue also altered my wedding dress. We had 3 fittings and it was just the perfect fit. They also steamed and delivered my dress to my hotel room in perfect condition. Setting up my steaming appointment with Carolyn Allen’s was easy and straightforward. I had to change the time of the steaming a couple of times and they had no problem with the changes. They came to our hotel room and steamed my dress, my mom’s, mother-in-law’s and maid of honor’s. They had both the steamer and an iron, which we needed. They worked quickly, carefully and quietly. I ended up feeling comfortable enough to leave my dress at bell services for them to pick up, clean, and ship back to me. It arrived exactly a month after the wedding (they informed me of the timeframe). They were very pleasant to work with!

We had a destination wedding and used Carolyn Allen's for tuxedos and to store and steam my dress along with the dresses of my bridesmaids. The quality of service we received was incredible and I could not be more pleased. The tuxedo rental was flawless and they were even willing to make a few trips back and forth when things didn't fit just right. On the day of my wedding two people came to my small hotel room to steam 8 dresses and despite all the chaos in the room they managed to stay out of the way and get everything done. All with a pleasant attitude and kind words.

Sue, Walter, Kat, and Stephanie are the best! They are so helpful, and they made us feel like part of the family! ^_^ They have the most beautiful and current styles, and Sue made any needed alterations so that all of the dresses fir perfectly. The chocolate brown tux that my groom selected for himself and his groomsmen was gorgeous, and even a last minute size exchange was handled gladly and quickly. They also have an amazing selection of shoes, veils, headpieces, as well as cleaning and preservation. You won't find value and service like this anywhere else!

What a great staff!! You can absolutely count on these folks to make your wedding day less stressful, because your dress and tux will be perfect. They even arrive early and are happy to see you. I would use them again and would recommend them to everyone!

This is a wonderful family establishment. When I walked in I immediately felt welcome. I was on a tight budget for my gown and there were lots of dresses to choose from in any budget range. I found the perfect gown for my special day. My dress fit me perfectly (because of Sue's great alterations). I will be definitely going again for any future alterations or just to stop in and say hello.

After having visited several other bridal stores I started thinking I would just have to settle. However, when I walked into Carolyn Allen's (which I unknowingly passed every day going to the supermarket) it was COMPLETELY different. I chose a couple different styles to try-on and after Sue saw what I was going for she also chose a couple. She is in EXPERT in her field and I can honestly say that the 4 gowns she picked for me were my 4 favorite. I couldn't narrow them down any farther. It was exquisite service, very personal, and I would recommend any bride & groom!! If there was a rating higher than 5, I would have chose that!!

Even though our wedding was on short notice, the staff at Carolyn Allen's was exceptionally attentive and was able to fulfill all of our bridal party needs. It was so easy to ship down my wedding gown and my flower girl dress, and the cost to do so was not as bad as I had initially anticipated (roughly $30.00). The day before our wedding, we were able to meet with the staff and obtain measurements for my wedding party. It took no time at all and the staff was able to crack jokes with us and were just down to earth and very funny. I would strongly recommend using this facility for any occassions, whether it be a wedding or other formal event. I also was able to ship all of my items back home for the same amount of money and it was extremely easy to make these arraignments.

I would HIGHLY recommend Carolyn Allen's Bridal! My wedding was planned quickly and they were great to work with. For starters, I came into the shop right as it was closing and one of the ladies stayed there with me past close and continued to suggest dresses for me to try on. In addition, the seamstress had to shorten my dress in a short-time period and took such great care and pride in her work that it was flawless! She had to shorten the length and to do so she had to remove all the decals from the bottom. Instead of getting rid of them she carefully placed them back on the dress! She was amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I got SO many compliments on my dress!

We used Carolyn Allen's for the groom's tux rental, additional men's shirt rentals and steaming of bridal gown, bridesmaids dresses.
They always got back to me very quickly with detailed answers to all my questions, showed up on time at our hotel for the tux fitting the day before the wedding and on time the next day to steam the dresses.
We added the additional shirt rental to our order last minute (less than a week before the wedding) and they were able to provide us with fantastic shirts and a great price!
I could not be happier and highly recommend Carolyn Allen's services!

The staff at Carolyn Allen's Bridals & Tuxedos are awesome. They performed my alterations to my wedding dress and provided the grooms tuxedo. We looked great. Sue's craftsmanship is beautiful. My family lives in NJ and wasn't able to attend any of the fittings but Sue and Keith and the rest of the staff made me feel at home.

Sue from Carolyn Allen's altered my wedding dress by adding a bustle and fitting it quite accurately. I also bought my veil from this location. Sue and her staff (including her daughters and husband) were so warm and friendly. They were quick and efficient. I even returned after the wedding to share photos with them. Now my family and I go to them for all of our evening gown alterations. Sue's beading work is immaculate. True artisans at work.

Our experience with Carolyn Allen's was fantastic.

Ours was a destination wedding - like so many others that they do - and they stored my gown and did a minor hemming to one of the layers, as well as provided the mens' tuxedos and did gown steaming for all the ladies. In addition, my mom purchased her Mother of the Bride gown through them - they were incredibly patient with her, not ever pressuring her.

On the morning of the wedding, they were prompt and friendly and dropped off all the tuxedos, my gown and steamed the ladies' dresses so quickly and efficiently that they were gone before we knew it.

Sue at Carolyn Allen's was a lifesaver. Since ours was a destination wedding and we were traveling to the locale about 3 weeks before, she stored my gown there. When she brought it to my resort, the gown was beautifully steamed and hung and laid over an ironing board so that it looked PERFECT on my wedding morning. CA's also steamed and delivered our Maid of Honor's gown.
We also rented tuxedos and shoes from CA's. When Sue came to our resort to do the first fitting, she noticed a tie did not lay right and returned later with a replacement bow tie as well as more comfortable shoes for both men. The service was always so friendly and accommodating to our schedules.

After the wedding, we left the tuxedos and my wedding gown and the MoH's gown with bell services at our hotel. Someone from CA's picked it all up and both gowns were promptly shipped to my home.

We could not have had piece of mind about our attire without the amazing folks at Carolyn Allens!!

I went to many bridal shops before visiting Carolyn Allen's. They were unlike the other wedding mills I had gone through on my search for the perfect dress. They gave me personal attention and took time to get to know my tastes so my whole wedding look would come together perfectly. They are also the only vendors that I felt like they had my best interest in mind and when the event was over, I considered them my friends. I have and would recommend Carolyn Allen's to anyone getting married or looking for formal wear.

With everyone coming from out of town, they made it super easy for everyone in our party to get fitted and look great! They came to our hotel the day before to drop everything off and make sure it all fit well, and we could easily return everything to the front desk. They offer wonderfull services, I even got my dress steamed, along with all my girls the morning of, and beleave me it needed it after the travleing

My wedding was in 3 months and they were able to rush my dress. It came in just a week before I flew out to New York and Sue was able to do all my alterations! She was the sweetest lady to work with and they helped me out with everything. I honestly don't know what I would have done without them.
