I went to a Carol Hannah Upcycle Sale at her atelier in NYC and found the most gorgeous, unique custom wedding dress. The dress was made from 100% upcycled scraps from a previous wedding dress she had, so it was sustainable and one of a kind! Also, it was affordable! Carol Hannah and her staff were so lovely and warm, and it was by far the best bridal try-on experience I had (after being to several other shops). I left with the dress that day, and it was truly a dream! -

I had the best experience at Carol Hannah from start to finish. Out of all the places I looked for dresses, both boutiques and designers, Carol Hannah felt the most welcoming without any pressure and had the most unique dresses that fit my style. The NYC studio is beautiful and open. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't feel pressure to place an order upon my first visit and returned for a 2nd time to try on again 2 dresses that I was considering. Carol Hannah, herself, even showed me different ways one of the dresses could be bustled! Once I placed my order for 2 dresses (welcome party and wedding day), they were very helpful in reaching out to schedule fittings and accommodating when I needed to reschedule at the last minute. I was never rushed during either of my shopping trips or any fittings. Overall, the fittings went smoothly and both dresses turned out exactly as I hoped. I felt beautiful and comfortable in both dresses throughout my wedding weekend. I would highly recommend Carol Hannah. -

My Dream Dress, My Dream Experience
Even before my husband and I got engaged, I was pretty convinced I wanted a dress made by Carol Hannah. I loved how unique the dresses were, how organic. They were works of art, and I love that they were custom built. When we got engaged in March 2022, I immediately made an appointment, but I didn’t know what to expect. My friends who had gotten married had all been dress shopping at multiple stores, and I didn’t know if I would find the perfect dress. We were planning on an accelerated timeline (6 months!).
My first appointment at Carol Hannah was a dream! The employees were incredible, and I had the whole place to myself to try on dresses. The dress I originally had in mind wasn’t quite flattering on me, and then my mother-in-law pointed out a dress that I hadn’t seen before. It was incredible, sculptural, flattering. It combined linen and organza in a really unique way. I knew it was the one! I didn’t feel rushed at all, and trying on each dress was a completely unique experience. I’m a mid-size bride, and never at one moment did I feel anything other than 100% amazing about my body. This is a body positive space.
My dress was chosen, and then they built a custom version according to my measurements. I know they cater to a lot of brides, but the staff at Carol Hannah always made me feel so special and like they were invested in my big day. Email reminders were helpful and answered all of my questions. The fittings were fun, and I was even able to have one with Carol herself! I requested a few minor alterations and they were happy to adjust the dress slightly and help me choose accessories. The studio itself is relaxing, airy, beautiful. Please do yourself the favor of trying this business. It takes all the stress out of choosing and buying your wedding dress, and you end up with something totally unique to you. -

Flexibility and lots of love!
I was an out-of-town bride and fell in love with a few Carol Hannah gowns and ultimately wanted a non-white wedding dress. Melissa was so accommodating and let me schedule on a day and time that worked for me since I would be driving over from a different state (same for pickup, I was able to schedule on a day that they normally don't do pickups). Before this trip, I had gone to a few other bridal salons and didn't have the best experience (all the dresses looked the same, not the styles I liked, etc), so I wasn't sure what to expect at Carol Hannah. Let me tell you, they hit it out of the park! I got to try on a ton of different styles and colors that were all so flattering and fun and ultimately chose the top of one dress and the bottom of another in a beautiful marigold color. It was everything I could have hoped for and more! They made it custom and I am still so in love with this gown! Definitely go here for all your bridal gowns, party dresses, everything! -

Sfumato Dress
I saw my dress online and fell in love instantly. Lucky for me I live in NJ so I was able to travel info to NYC to the Carol Hannah flagship store which was an amazing experience. They made me feel so special and everything they had was beautiful! Since I was at their shop they built the dress for me, instead of me purchasing a size and then altering it. So that was a fun extra treat! If I had to redo it all I wouldn’t change a thing! -

An Experience Unlike Any Other!
Carol Hannah is an ARTIST. I struggled finding a wedding dress that felt like me while shopping at larger bridal shops. As soon as I came across Carol Hannah online, I knew I found my place. From the moment I stepped in for the first time to browse a variety of dresses, the stylist made me feel comfortable and beautiful in everything. The variety of dresses are unlike any other I’ve seen, each with their own personality and beauty. I fell in love with the Eyre dress immediately, with its fabric that almost changed color in the changing natural light in the room as I moved. The alterations and fitting process was seamless with Mary as my stylist. She was well versed in the alterations process and made me feel so comfortable in my own skin. She helped me choose the sparkle veil to fully complete the look as well. There was never a worry in my mind throughout the process. I wish I could wear this dress everyday! -

Working with the team at Carol Hannah was incredible. From start to finish, I felt cared for and listened to. I really felt like I had a team there to support and guide me through the wedding dress process. When I couldn't decide between two dresses, my consultant suggested combining them. Carol Hannah came out from the back to walk me through how the combination would look and eased any fears I had of the final product. It was incredible. I am so grateful to this team for their clear communication and accommodation. -

Melissa from Carol Hannah was amazing. When I arrived, she was so friendly, down to earth and welcoming, and I instantly felt comfortable. I really appreciated her humor and candidness, and knowledge of the industry. Melissa listened to my needs/wants and had some great suggestions for dresses that would work for my aesthetic and body type. The dresses themselves are beautifully made and very high quality. They are also made locally in NYC, in the Garment District, which is a plus. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Carol Hannah and would highly recommend including them in your search for the perfect dress. -

Maquette was a showstopper. Literal perfection on my big day. I did the virtual try on options with CH and it was a great experience! Everyone I worked with was so kind and responsive. I decided to do a 'custom' train-and the option to do this was Dara, my stylists', idea! I had loved Belvedere's train but Maquettes body & flare, and so we made the angualr train happen. It was the dress of my dreams!!! I brought it for alterations and the seamstress who has years of couture experience in Paris & Germany said it was one of the top three dresses she has had in her shop and that it was true couture and beautifully built. Coming from her, that was the biggest compliment! Highly suggest working with Carol Hannah. I loved that the dress was made in NYC & how unique and creative her styles are! -

I am not the Kleninfeld Bride type. Nothing against them at all! It’s just my style is a bit, more low key (but hey, ya’ll do look amazing on TLC!).
Carol Hannah’s shop is personal, creative, and intimate. Smaller shop, has variety of stylish dresses, all designed by shop owner. I met Carol Hannah a couple of times during my fittings. She really listened to me, great to chat with, and the dress became 100% me.

Excellent Experience

Meant to be
I had gone to multiple dress places and had not had great experiences. I found Carol hannah because a dress I loved kept popping up that finally led me to her. Even during the pandemic, every visit was personal and attentive. I never felt pressured or like I had to compromise anything. I ended up loving two dresses and they helped me figured out how to incorporate both. The whole tram was friendly, transparent, and professional. I felt like they were on my team, not just trying to get me to buy a wedding dress. Perfect from start to finish. They even made me a matching mask! I was having a zero waste wedding and they helped give me feedback on which dresses would utilize the most fabric AND saved me the few scraps they did have. -

Absolulte MUST!
I had a wonderful experience shopping here. It was also my mom's favorite of all the shops we visited because of the warm welcome and fun attitude of the sales staff. As a plus size bride I was able to try on some dresses in my size and others in smaller size that still gave me a good idea of how it would look. The construction and quality is amazing on the gowns. There was one dress in white and gold fabric that I just couldn't stop thinking about. I ultimately went with another bridal gown, but I went back to Carol Hannah and bought a dress for rehearsal dinner and engagement photos because I had such a great experience. -

I could not have chosen a better place to buy my wedding dress. Every step of the way they were communicative, beyond helpful, and so pleasant.
I went into the studio twice before finally committing to a dress. They let me take my time, switch back and forth between gowns, and were just so attentive to what I was saying and how I was feeling in the dresses. Nhi was my consultant and she was so stellar. Especially as it started to become more and more apparent in the first appointment that my group was leaning towards one dress and I was heading towards another. She let me dither back and forth and was so great when I came back in a second time to compare with my maid of honor.
As soon as I said yes and decided, they gave me everything I needed for the rest of the process. I had a timeline of when to come back for alterations, what to bring to each one and what to expect at various points in the process.
They were also really flexible with the alterations. I picked the Citrine gown, which has this fabulous sash of different fabric in the front that I was able to change the color of. We also played around with different looks for the neckline at one of my first alterations when I was trying to figure out if I wanted to switch it up to more of a sweetheart neckline. They were patient and so nice about it.
I cannot recommend these dresses and these people enough. My husband crochets and decided he wanted to make our cake toppers. I emailed Nhi on a whim to see if they would save a small bit of the colored sash material during alterations so my mini me cake topper's dress would match mine and she was so sweet and enthusiastic about it! It turned out perfectly.
Do yourself a favor and visit this studio. You will not regret it! -

I genuinely think I decided on a CH dress because the experience I had there was so positive compared to the other stores I visited. I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The space is charmingly quaint and shopping the showroom privately felt indulgent. And the team at CH is amazing! The level of communication, impeccable. Every call or email received a prompt response. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed to decide on a gown. Dara and Nhi provided valuable input for hem length and dress modifications. If I lived in NYC these are the people I’d want to spend my time with.
I love the edgy designs so much I found four I didn’t want to part with. Really - one fabulous gown for my wedding day and three LWDs all tailored to fit my short stature. The LWDs were perfect - I wore one at rehearsal, one on our chartered boat, and a bonus dress! Could a girl ask for more?
Dress shopping doesn’t get better than this. I am delighted to be a CH bride.

As a bride, I enjoyed private fittings in the charming NY showroom surrounded by the most beautiful gowns, fabrics, trims and accessories. The team always extended their warm and undivided attention during fittings and phone calls, to ensure my entire experience and every detail of my gown would come to life in the most beautiful way. I made the cross country journey to NY for fittings. The time and resources spent was beyond worth it. The entire design team is right on site in the showroom, always sweet and ready to dive in during fittings. I've never had a gown fit so perfectly which provided ease, comfort and confidence on my wedding day. Coming from a design background, I'm thrilled to share that the Carol Hannah Bridal work is beyond! Each detail, pleat, tuck and stitch of my gown was placed with intention, creating the most beautiful work of art. Thank you Nhi and the entire Carol Hannah Team for making my experience as a bride truly magical! -

Beautiful gowns and an even better experience
While marrying my husband was technically the best part of my wedding, getting my dress through Carol Hannah was an EXTREMELY close second (maybe even a tie TBH ;). Not only are Carol Hannah's dresses stunning, the whole process of buying through her flagship was a literal dream.
The staff, Nhi, Dara, and Angela, are the most adorable, honest, and chill people you'll have the pleasure of working with. They'll make you feel beautiful, special, and at ease throughout the whole thing! Having a dress built on my body to my exact specifications was a couture experience I'll likely never have again, and being able to make tweaks throughout each fitting was comforting and made the dress even more unique.
When it came time to actually wear my beautiful satin-faced organza Aquarelle, she was the most comfortable, well-constructed, gorgeous piece of clothing I've ever experienced. So comfortable, in fact, that I did not take her off until well after the after party (tried to sleep in her, husband got sassy, had to take it off hah).
The designs Carol Hannah creates are beautiful, and the team she has compiled are equally as wonderful. If you're able to buy through the flagship, you'll be in for an even more special experience (they'll even invite you back after your wedding for cute little events :). I truly cannot recommend Carol Hannah enough to any future bride and I will remember & cherish this experience forever. -

One of a Kind Wedding Dress!
The designers and sales coordinators at Carol Hannah, especially Angela and Dara, helped me pick up and design the most incredibly beautiful and unique wedding dress I could have ever imagined! Simply the best!
I had been to a number of bridal shops before stumbling upon Carol Hannah and wasn't finding what I was looking for. I knew I wasn't a "traditional" bride and was looking for color, but elegant while still feeling like a bride. Carol Hannah delivered on everything I was looking for! I saw the Anthorium skirt long before I was ever thinking about getting married and knew I had to have it. I was unsure if I was going to be able to make the dress work within my budget, but spending a little extra on a Carol Hannah dress was the best decision I ever could have made.
It was very easy to schedule a fitting at the NYC show room and the stylists were extremely accommodating. They listened to all of my concerns when helping me to select a top for the skirt and ended up creating a custom dress that turned out beautifully. Since the dress was so customized, the only alteration required was the hem. My tailor couldn't stop commenting on the quality of the fabric and the impeccable fit.
I still have guests contacting me to let me know that my dress was by far the most memorable dress they've ever seen. -

I didn't search long before I visited Carol Hannah, but as soon as I tried on Lutosa, I knew she was the one! I absolutely loved my experience with the team at CH -- every fitting was easy and efficient, the whole process was stress free. Would recommend over and over again! -

After searching high and low for a wedding dress designer that would make a red gown for a plus-size bride at a reasonable price (for me, reasonable meant about $5,000--I know that isn't reasonable for everyone), I found Carol Hannah, and I'm so lucky I did. The sales and production staff made me feel very welcome at every visit--by the end of the process, I felt genuine affection for the whole team. They had sample sizes that fit me (I'm a size 16), so that I could actually try on the real dresses, and they were incredibly patient as I wavered between two very different gowns. When I finally settled on one, they worked with me on a few changes I needed (raising the back and letting one of the pleats out in the front), and they found the perfect shade of red material. The finished gown was so much more beautiful than I even imagined my dress would be. They were even willing to add a modesty panel to the dress at the last minute so I could wear it to my second wedding reception in India. The process was more than smooth from beginning to end, and I highly recommend Carol Hannah. Even if they seem a bit out of your price range, it might be worth it for the peace of mind and uplifting experience. -

Amazing Dresses and and Awesome Team!
I had an AMAZING experience with Carol Hannah. The quality of the dresses is A+++. Everything I tried on after could not compare.
The team at Carol Hannah has to be one of the best in the industry. Every person we interacted with was so kind and so knowledgeable!
Nhi was our point of contact at most of our appointments and she is so sweet and made me feel confident about the decisions I was making.
Dara did all of my fittings, which can be a very intimidating process, and she made me feel so calm and was so fun to be around!
Carol Hannah may be on the higher end budget wise, but it is SO WORTH IT! Couldn't recommend more! -

The overall experience with the Carol Hannah team from the very first try on appointment to the final fitting was beyond anything I have ever experienced. The team was so personable and sweet, no pressure to buy or make a decision on the first try on. They offered my bridesmaids and me champaign during the first try on - it made it fun and special. Once I selected the dress and had my first measurements done things went swimmingly even though by the first fitting I had lost 20lbs.. they made the alterations and the dress was SO perfect. I felt amazing. Even Carol Hannah herself was at my final fitting - it was the cherry on top meeting the designer of your wedding dress. Everyone loved my dress at the wedding - it was original and a show stopper. My photographer said he sees hundreds of dresses and THIS one was very special. I loved it so much I cam back to get it shortened to be able to wear again to another special occasion. I can't wait to see "her" in a shorter length. You will love your dress from Carol Hannah! -

I have been following Carol Hannah on Instagram (which I highly recommend) for a while, and fell in love with her artistic vision. I knew I wanted something daring and unique, but still clearly bridal. I couldn't imagine getting my dress anywhere else.
I planned a trip to NYC with my cousins and my best friend and we went to three boutiques including Carol Hannah flagship. At comparable prices, our experience at Carol Hannah v. the other boutiques were like night and day! The flagship store is a truly unique experience and I recommend it to any bride.
When we arrived at the store, we were greeted by two warm smiling faces and offered a drink. My friends got settled and the consultant took me aside, to a wall of gowns, and asked me privately about my budget (not everybody does this). I was worried because my budget was on the lower end of the Carol Hannah spectrum (according to the website they run from $3500 to $11000). We then went down the line of gowns and Nhi pulled out a dress and asked me what I thought. I would say yes or no and by the end we had eight whole gowns plus a collections of separates! I couldn't believe it! In a shop with just one designer, I had almost three times as many options as at any other place.
Not only that, but I ADORED every single gown I tried on. I narrowed it down to two gowns, Oceane and Anthorium.
I came back the next week (up from D.C., mind you) and we narrowed it down to Anthorium. I decided to order the whole dress to be shipped to me and have it altered in D.C., but HOT TIP: I spent almost the same amount on alterations as it costs to get the dress custom built on to your body--so if you are able, I highly recommend having that service done in house.
All of my cousins agreed, they were the most beautiful dresses any of us had seen. ALSO, all natural fibers (real 100% silk, linen, etc) which is RARE, especially for the price. Carol Hannah gowns are now going to be a family tradition.
My dress was the first decision I made in the wedding planning process, and it's still the best one.
Go to Carol Hannah. I had the best wedding dress of all time! -

Gorgeous Dress!
I loved my dress from Carol Hannah so much! They were there every step of the way and made the entire process feel so easy and fun. From the first fitting to the time of booking they weren't pushy or made me feel like I HAD to order from them- which ultimately is probably why I did order from them! All the sales associates were so kind and great at what they do. If I could do it again, I'd buy another Carol Hannah Dress. -

I’ve loved Carol Hannah since her Project Runway days so when I got engaged, I knew I had to wear one of her gowns. I worked with 2 main consultants who were both so wonderful. We started with the styles I thought I would like and moved to what was most important about the gown (for me, comfort and ability to dance a lot). They were honest with their opinions on the dresses I tried on and gave great suggestions on what else I could try. They also were great during the fittings, giving me great advice to go a little looser around the hips so it’d be easier to dance in. The appointments themselves were super easy to set up online and to change if you needed to. Overall, I absolutely loved my experience. Everyone there makes you feel special and beautiful and it truly is fun! -

I knew Carol Hannah would design my wedding dress before I even knew I was getting married. When I found a picture online of the Kensignton Skirt, I just knew one day that would be my wedding dress. So when the day finally came, I made my appointment and not only was it the only dress I tried on, but the sample fit me like a glove! I knew it was a sign and I said yes to the dress that day. Fast forward to a few months later and at my second to last fitting, i had the honor of having Carol Hannah herself fit me for my dress. It was the cherry on top of getting my perfect dress. I still receive countless compliments on my dress and it'll always be one of the best parts of my dream wedding day. -

I am a proud Carol Hannah bride and I was in love with every step of the bridal gown journey with Carol Hannah Bridal, from first appointment to last fitting!
I had visited many bridal salons and boutiques prior to my first appointment at Carol Hannah (I was the kind of bride who ended up trying on over 100 dresses throughout my search...I didn't know what I was looking for -- nothing wrong with that!). My first appointment was so ideal; Nhi greeted me warmly and was so friendly and inviting. The space is lovely and all appointments are private (just you and no other brides at the same time). I tried on gowns that I had seen online, as well as separates. When I tried on the Senara gown, everything changed. She was the one! (Note: I made 2 additional trips back to Carol Hannah to finalize my choice before officially saying yes to the dress; thank you Nhi for being so patient and supportive!!)
What is extra special about buying your gown from
Carol Hannah is the custom fit alterations: your gown is literally MADE FOR YOU. After taking my measurements, each fitting I attended was to further tailor the fit and the components of the dress. For example, I wanted to take the back down a little, wanted the "petal" part of the bust to lay a certain way, and wanted part of the draping altered a bit -- all were easily discussed and accommodated! Shoutout to DARA who is amazing at what she does and was so wonderful at every fitting. Cannot thank her enough for her beautiful work and fun, easy going personality. Fittings were truly so fun and special.
I also bought my veil at Carol Hannah, as well as a pocket square for my groom that was made of the same silk organza as my gown :)

Shopping for a dress was the most daunting task on my wedding to-do list. I felt like every dress was the same thing with lots of lace and gaudy beading I was not interested in wearing. Finding Carol Hannah was a breath of fresh air! The elegant and classic design options that were both timeless and unique had me sold. But then the entire staff really sealed the deal. Everyone, whether in person, via email, or on the phone, was so polite and professional. Not only did they do their jobs well, they all seemed genuinely excited to celebrate such a special time with me! Together we worked to find the perfect dress and make sure it fit me just right. I was excited to go to fittings and really enjoyed the one on one attention. If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely go to Carol Hannah! -

From my first fitting to my final pickup, Carol Hannah’s team treated me like an individual with my own style and aspirations for the day rather than a sale or a size or a body to fit. I really enjoyed each of our interactions and felt like they catered their recommendations and design tweaks to me and my best self (comfort) on my wedding day. We ended up needing multiple fittings to fine tune the fit of my gown (two pieces = more to adjust) but they effectively managed me through that process and kept my stress levels low. I highly recommend their craftmanship and their alteration services, and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. -

Working with Carol Hannah team was a dream! The whole process was seamless and made me feel very comfortable. I knew from the moment I saw the Coralia dress online that this dress would be my dress for the wedding! All I had to worry about was to make sure that the actual appointment was not draining and stressful. When I met the team (Nicole, Dara, Kira, Nhi), all my worries subsided. The team was there to help me with the shoes and accessories decision and they were very accommodating. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I cant thank enough Carol Hannah! These dresses are all so beautifully crafted and wonderful that it was hard to pick just one.
My initial appointment with Nicole was lovely. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in the door to the day I signed the contract. She was approachable, affable and kind. The experience felt non-judgmental and I found her to be genuine, listening to me and then [patiently giving me some options.
After I asked for some custom options on the Bryant dress, Nicole was in constant contact, informing me of pricing changes and design options, finally agreeing to ship me a swatch of the fabric when it's cut!
When it came time for my two fittings, Nhi was sweet and let me get excited about my dream dress without making me feel self-conscious or silly. In fact, at every stage of this process with Carol Hannah, I felt so taken care of. And indeed I was! Throughout my wedding, I received countless compliments that the dress seemed like a part of me. I felt like it moved gracefully, complimented my body and was effortlessly comfortable and beautiful.
This dress experience was by far the best one I had and it was part of the reason I picked Carol Hannah at the end.

From my first appointment to look at options to the very last fitting, all the ladies at Carol Hannah made me feel I was in the best hands. They were professional, super helpful, passionate about what they do and just a delight to work with. Regarding the dress, I loved the design and loved how I felt wearing it. I'm looking for opportunities to at least wear the top of the dress again! The gowns are so unique and whimsical, perfect for a bride that's looking for something stunning and non-traditional.
This was the first and only bridal shop I visited, because after being there once I knew I had found the service and the product that reflected exactly what I was looking for in this whole wedding dress shopping experience. -

Elizabeth Sent on 06/13/2018First and foremost, my dress, which was a custom combination (essentially one style in a different fabric than usual) was unbelievable. I loved it so, so much.
The entire experience, from my first appointment to look at dresses, through to the last fitting, was pleasant and low-stress - which is saying a lot for me, because I was apprehensive about the whole dress-buying process. The wonderful women of Carol Hannah made me feel beautiful despite all of my body- and appearance-related anxieties. They are completely body-positive, non-judgmental, kind, relaxed, and helpful. I kind of hope that I need another fancy dress soon so that I can go back there.
(Note that even though my dress was on the pricey end, this was because of a few factors, including that it was semi-custom and that a special fabric was used. Carol Hannah offers a pretty wide variety of price points - and for the quality of my dress, the price was much lower than I would have expected to find anywhere else!) -

Once I picked my dress, with the help of a lovely team full of patience and great suggestions, the fitting process was a breeze. Every time I walked into the salon, I felt comfortable and loved the one on one attention. The staff even helped me hold my phone for Facetime dates and take photos when my mom wasn't able to be there for the appointments. My dress felt like me and I probably couldn't have gotten there without the fabulous Carol Hannah team and designs!

The smaller studio and solo appointment without other brides was a breath of fresh air. From the second I met Nicole, I was at ease with how kind, calm and helpful she was. Every dress in the studio is like a work of art and so beautiful. I chose the Centaurea gown and it was perfect. Every person I worked with at the studio was amazing, they put you at ease, working hard to make sure every last inch of the dress fit, up until a few days before. Having a dress custom made to your body, making changes and creating the perfect vision, was such a fun experience! If you want a one of a kind, creative wedding dress, and a stress free experience with down to earth people, this is your place. Thank you for making this experience so incredible and then some!! I went to several shops all over Manhattan and in Brooklyn to only find extremely high prices or low-quality dresses, with just okay customer service. Then I finally found Carol Hannah where I was met by Nicole, the friendliest and most helpful person I came across during the process! She listened to what I wanted and was able to put two different dresses together to help me create my dream look. When I didn't love the way the top fit me during my first few fittings, Nicole and Dara were so quick to respond and helped me make sure I felt comfortable with all the tailoring and final pieces. I could not have asked for a better overall experience! -

The dresses are custom made, based on your own measurements (not standard sizing), and you can personalize and accessorize the dress so it is perfectly you! From start to finish, my experience was absolutely fantastic. Nicole was so helpful and response, and she made the whole process so easy. I love looking at our wedding photos because I cannot imagine a more beautiful dress.

Sol Sent on 12/06/2017Where to begin, I found Carol Hannah thanks to the Kensignton skirt I saw on Pinterest, did some research found her website and literally started drooling over all of her gowns.
I ended up going to NYC ,(Florida was just not cutting it for me), I made an appointment at about 12 shops, my 3rd day of wedding dress shopping and after numerous almost dresses a but of frustration and so much walking around I went to Carol Hannah's Flagship. Let me tell you that I immediately fell in love with the building, the door, her sign, her staff ( Nicole <3) , and once I started to try on dresses forget it I was all in. I actually did not choose the Senara Gown on the first try on, I went through a few more dresses and for some reason NEEDED to put it back on, my family at first was not convinced but when they saw my face after putting it on for the second time and matching it with my Mika Veil we all knew that was it!!! I could not begin to explain how much love and soul is put into this business, the staff is soo sweet, we must have emailed back and forth about 700 times (real count almost) , we talked about customization's, matching shoes, even threw around ideas about a second after party outfit. I actually met Carol Hannah in Miami at the Bridal Shop , I had gone to try on my dress again & the Kensington skirt , she is super cool and laid back , from Chraleston where I got married which was such a plus, I was so happy I actually got to meet the person who created such an important dress for me! If you are looking for a true experience that is nothing but pleasant do not hesitate in choosing Carol Hannah. I had all of my last fittings squeezed together thanks to the Hurricane that decided to ruin all my NYC dress appts. , they were super accommodating , had no problems rescheduling me and working with me, we actually had 3 days of girl time is was fabulous. My dress was shipped to Charleston it arrived exactly as planned! Pure Magic! Thank you -

They went above and beyond to make my dress and have it shipped within a week...the ONLY dress I had tried on and loved in the past few months that hit the mark for me (plus didn't cost an arm and a leg). Their customer service was like no other... Nicole was patient, kind, joyful....truly a gem. They were also very calming during such a stressful time. Not having a dress was dreadful and I am so grateful I found this beautiful shop in the heart of NYC. You guys made my day amazing because I felt on top of the world. Thank you for EVERYTHING!

The studio is a beautiful calm and whimsical space, you know you are there for a special occasion, YOUR special occasion, and that's how every wedding dress shopping should be. They make it all about you. The fabrics are phenomenal. Shopping elsewhere, I noticed that even when you find a dress that looks pretty, the material feels cheap and looks cheap up close. You should feel beautiful on your wedding day and they will do that for you. My other recommendation, go with their alterations! They will not stop until things are perfect. My body does not easily fit into things but for them things seemed effortless, always pleasant and extremely knowledgeable in what they do.

The flagship showroom is cozy, bright and clean and the staff (for me, Nicole and Dara) are professional, fun, attentive and beyond helpful. From my first visit to try on gowns to my frantic phone calls the next day to my sometimes tough schedule for fittings, I always felt like a priority and never felt rushed. The Carol Hannah brand is a family that loves what they do, and they do it with style, grace and passion. These dresses and the feeling that comes with them are artful and magical and for me, one of the best parts of my wedding experience.

I went to dozens and dozens of stores around the U.S. and Carol Hannah was just so accommodating and made the entire experience FUN! At the studio I worked with Nicole, she was out of this world accommodating and professional, and also very creative in helping us customize the dress to how we wanted it. The studio is filled with such beautiful dresses and accessories.
Such beautiful dresses that fit all sizes, and the materials they use are so amazing. I purchased the 'Celestine' dress and had it customized a bit to fit what I was looking for and I couldn't of been more HAPPY with how it turned out!! Shipped straight to my house in Ohio.....the dress was Comfortable....flowy.....everything......Thank you Carol Hannah!!!!!!!!!! -

Being from out of town, I was a little unsure of the added expenses during an already pricey time (hey, weddings add up!), but it was worth every penny. Most places do a great job treating brides like VIPs, but think of this as the king of VIP treatment in an already cushy situation. Not only is the staff fun, warm, and professional, but the gowns are on trend. The details are amazing, right down to the seams. I couldn’t have been happier with my bridal experience OR my gown. There are hundreds and hundreds of vendors, gown shops, designers, etc that you have the potential to work with for your big day. Some stick with you as good choices and leave you thinking “I’m so glad I went with them” after the event. Carol Hannah is one of them.
