The best photographer!

We feel SO unbelievably lucky to have had Carly as our engagement and wedding photographer! We were so nervous to be in front of a camera and she directed every pose and every angle so we had nothing to worry about. From our very first meeting at a wedding expo (where she took one of our favorite photos of the two of us, even before we had hired her!), she has radiated positivity and has the best sense of humor. On our wedding day, she made the absolute most of our time and expertly managed our large bridal party and various tricky family members. We are beyond thrilled with our photos - they have such a classic look and bring to life our wedding day perfectly! She even photoshopped our dog into one of the pictures

Dream photographer

Carly is the best! We are both so awkward in front of the camera and she was able to bring out the best in us on our wedding day! She is a delight to work with and the photos turned out stunning. Everything looked like the best version of what it was. I was happy that she doesn't go for anything too trendy or stylized. Classic photography, a great idea for details, and gorgeous portraits. What a talent! The hardest part of the whole process was figuring out which beauties to print!

Carly and her team are truly phenomenal! Heather made us feel totally at ease while she captured all the special moments on our wedding day. She was so great at gathering people for the portraits and at recognizing the natural moments - particularly with my adorable and rambunctious nephews who weren’t going to willingly pose for photos. She knew our venue inside and out and knew exactly to take photos at different times, depending on the light. And that’s just on the day of the wedding - throughout planning, Carly was very responsive and detail oriented. I am so grateful to Heather and Carly for everything they did for us - I highly recommend them!

Wonderful experience and photos!

Carly was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. She helped me navigate my timeline leading up to the wedding, and the day of she stayed fun and professional while trying to wrangle up my wedding party and get everyone where they needed to be for photos. She delivered my sneak peek photos so quick and they were all sooo gorgeous!! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer!

Carly is Fantastic!

Carly and Maria were amazing! Like many other reviewers, my husband and I are not picture people, but taking photos with Carly was like hanging out with a new best friend! Amazing wedding photographer!

This photographer was everything we wanted and more. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning. Anna was incredible. She was so good at corralling people, being quick in the hot sun but also being so throughout. I would 100% hire Anna again if I had to do it all over again.

Fun, Professional, Incredible Talent

Carly was the BEST decision we made for our wedding. She was so much fun and very skilled at herding the cats. When you have that much family and wedding party...you need a strong director. Carly kept things running so smoothly and perfectly on time. She was so fast getting everything back to us, every communication email and all the photos. Carly is incredible!

Carly made us feel so at ease, happy and smiley all day for our wedding!! She keeps you laughing, communicates really well and is just like sunshine in human form. Wow! Amazing!

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with our wedding photos! Carly took the time before the wedding to get a list of our must-have shots. She worked with our style and managed to capture both of us at our best! My husband and I are about a foot apart in height and none of the pictures show that. Carly was so personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding professional.

Truly the BEST!!

Due to the coronavirus, my husband and I decided last minute to have a wedding with just the two of us, a chaplain, and a photographer. We planned our small wedding in one week, and, luckily, Carly was one of the first people I found! She basically helped me plan the whole wedding by referring me to a hair and make up stylist (no filter glam) and a florist (floret and vine). She was so quick to respond to all of our questions and extremely helpful! On our wedding day, John and I both said that we could not have done it without her. She captured the day perfectly for our friends and family to see, and helped facilitate the whole day. We absolutely love Carly!!!

Carly shot my cousin's wedding, where I was a bridesmaid, as well as one of my friend's weddings. I already knew she would do a great job, and she did! She worked so hard to fit in all the photos we requested, and she was so personable and friendly. We loved her! Her photography is gorgeous.

A breath of fresh air, who also takes incredible photos

Full disclosure! We have not actually had our wedding yet. Due to COVID-19 we had to postpone from April to November 2020. Given the situation, I felt now was an appropriate time to share my experience thus far. I will be sure to update my review after our wedding as well!

A little back story, my fiancé is active duty military, who was deployed with very minimal access to internet during the majority of the wedding planning process, and I am an ICU nurse working 13hrs shifts. We are currently living in Southern California, while our families live near Philadelphia. The USNA holds a very special place in our hearts, so we decided Annapolis would be the perfect place to celebrate our marriage with your friends & family. I had no idea what to expect planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away, but Carly didn’t skip a beat!
From day one, Carly felt like a life-long friend you lost touch with but instantly picked up right where you left off. She walked me through every step of the process, in a kind, gentle manner. She made everything so simple, while also easing my anxiety significantly. She provided advice and tips for all aspects of our big day, helped us troubleshoot logistical hiccups, and even provided recommendations for local, reputable pet care so our fur son could be a part of our day.
Carly is polite, respectful, and very well organized... basically a dream come true for a type-A control freak like myself. She has been so flexible and accommodating during this difficult, uncertain time.
Simply put, Carly radiates positive, refreshing energy. She’s so much more than a wedding photographer; she’s an angel hype woman spreading joy & kindness everywhere, while also taking incredible photos we will cherish forever!!! I highly recommend Carly Fuller Photography.

The only photographer you NEED to work with

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Carly when she photographed my cousins wedding a few years back. Her work is so phenomenal we still have those pictures displayed around our home, some of which are my favorite pictures. I knew when it came time for my wedding Carly would be the photographer I would want for the most important day of my life. Fast forward a few years later and no more than a week after I was engaged I contacted her right away. Working with Carly has been a pleasure to say the least! She’s professional, flexible, genuinely kind, and most importantly honest- which in my opinion is the most important quality for any wedding vendor. When it came time to chose our wedding package we discussed my vision and what she can do to work within my budget. Carly understood my what I was looking for and suggested awesome packages one which included an engagement session. We had our engagement pictures done in the fall where she took the most STUNNING (emphasis on stunning) pictures I’ve ever seen. She has an eye for capturing moments you wouldn’t think to photograph and she blew us away! This made our save the dates and our website even more unique to who we are as a couple which to me was important. I still am reviving compliments to this day on them! Your own personal fairy godmother

Carly was amazing to work with! From wrangling our overly-excited puppy during our engagement shoot, to providing clear, concise direction on our wedding day with her team, to delivering AMAZING images we will treasure for years to come - she’s the total package in a photographer. We felt so comfortable with her from the very first phone conversation, and she even recommended our florist! Carly and her team were like fairy godmothers during our wedding, getting our bridal party and families in line and providing emergency Shout wipes that absolutely saved the day. It was basically like having a second set of event planners on hand. Carly’s bubbly, positive energy is simply infectious. She also has zero qualms about literally stopping traffic in order to get THE perfect shot.

Can’t get any better

Where do I even start! Carly and Maria were absolute godsends for my wedding. Not only did they keep things light and entertaining, they were extremely flexible in taking any shots were requested and went along with the flow when our schedule got disrupted and our families weren’t where they were supposed to be. Also, Carly was also extremely responsive and answered all my questions in extreme detail. She knew my venue like the back of her hand and ensured that my fiancée and I had the most memorable night.

Amazing Photographer!

We had the pleasure of working with Carly as our wedding photographer. I should start by saying that neither my husband nor I particularly enjoy being photographed, so in addition to technical photography skills, we were looking for someone we would feel comfortable working with and who would respect our wishes and boundaries during the wedding. We found exactly that in Carly.

When we booked Carly, she encouraged us to do a mini-engagement photo session with her (which was complementary in our package) for the sole purpose of getting to know each other and getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I will admit that I was not excited to do it. But I’m so so so grateful we did! First of all, the photos are beautiful. Second, it really did help us essentially practice being photographed so we would act and feel less awkward at the wedding. Carly knows what she’s doing!

During both the mini-engagement session and the portraits at the wedding Carly was amazing to work with. She has such a positive, playful energy that made us feel really comfortable with her, and allowed us to open up and be ourselves. Carly has a wonderful ability to see and capture sweet, pretty, special moments on camera, and it was energizing to see how excited she got about everything she was doing. Carly also did a great job of herding our wedding party and families for the appropriate photos – she was kind but firm, which is exactly what our group needed!

It was such a lovely surprise to get an email from Carly the day after our wedding with a clear outline of what to expect next and a few ‘teaser’ photos (which are phenomenal). We are only a couple of weeks post-wedding, so I need to be patient and let Carly work her magic, but I am so excited to see all of our wedding images. Carly was a joy to work with, and I highly recommend her!

Carly is incredible!

Our wedding pictures were and still are one of our absolute favorite parts of our day. Carly is so responsive, professional and ensures that all of your important moments are captured in the most beautiful way. From the very beginning, I knew after talking on the phone with Carly that we wanted her for our wedding. She had come highly recommended from a few friends of ours. We decided to stretch our photography budget to include her in our day, and it was the best decision we could have made. Carly wants to get to know her clients before she phographs you, and I think it really helps her capture the most authentic personalities of the couple on film. She was such a ninja when taking pictures during the ceremony, we never noticed her once, and the photos came out so phenomenally. Carly ensures that the photo list is complete and has everything you want as a couple BEFORE the big day, which ends up being a small but crucial detail. She goes over the list and the timeline to make sure things run smoothly, and makes sure to get ALL the shots you ask for. I was so happy the day of when she took over the show, called in the family members and wedding party like a photo drill sergeant, and got all the perfect shots of our families that we asked for. She was able to get genuine smiles from my notoriously non-smiling family, and the pictures turned out more wonderfully than we could have imagined. Her attention to detail and talented eye captured the very essence of our day in a way we can remember forever with thousands of wonderful pictures. We could not have asked for a better more professional photographer, and our families both agreed that they have never seen such a well run wedding and such gorgeous final products where photography is concerned. Carly Fuller was the photographer for our DC wedding during September 2018. She was amazing!

We were looking for someone that would capture our day, be professional and of course give us many photos to treasure for years to come. Carly delivered this above and beyond!

We began our relationship with a conversation where we told her about our lives, our relationship and who we were as a couple. We spoke with Carly about what kind of pictures we wanted, talked about our family that would attend and described our intimate ceremony. She helped us to create a timeline, a list of pictures and was open to some of our more creative ideas for moments to capture.

Carly helped us to have a perfect day and we truly enjoyed working with her. She took charge in a good way when it came to my getting ready pictures with my mom - she was quick to act in my bridal suite - taking in the room, moving furniture and being self sufficient while I continued to get ready and have family time with those coming to visit me. Because of her keen eye and willingness to act we got amazing pictures.

We were also worried about the weather on the day. She was open and helpful in coming up with a game plan that could change our outdoor ceremony. We lucked out on the day and the sun started to appear. We were so happy that we had Carly at that moment - she was able to help lead our driver to different areas around DC - again helping to capture amazing pictures with DC landmarks - exactly what we wanted!

Our wedding day is one that we will never forget and a big part of that was having Carly with us. We loved working with her and I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer!

I met Carly while she was photographing a close friend's wedding last year. She was so friendly and clearly excellent at her job. I loved that she was directive and helpful, yet she also made the experience really fun. I have been to several weddings, and I have never met a wedding photographer that genuinely cares about her clients the way Carly does. However, my friend's wedding was in Maryland and I was planning my wedding in New Hope, PA. Once we received the photos for that wedding, my fiance and I did some research and found that Carly also works in the Philadelphia area. We looked into other photographers and even met with a few, but neither of us felt as comfortable with anyone else as we did with Carly. When researching wedding photographers, keep in mind that you will be spending a great deal of time with the photographer on one of the most significant days of your life, so I think it is crucial to find someone that you get along with. All of that being said, Carly was the obvious choice for us. Carly did our engagement photos and they turned out great. Throughout the wedding planning process, Carly was so reassuring about everything. On the day of the wedding, Carly was amazing. She has a good eye for where to take photos and will guide you to the perfect locations throughout the day. Some of our family members attempted to take control with regard to which pictures were taken but Carly made sure to put us (the couple) first and professionally indicate that she is going through the list of what we want. We had a large wedding party so Carly had a lot of photos to take and she made sure to get through all of them while always checking in with us to see if we needed water or to go inside. Her assistant was also excellent! We received all of our photos in a very timely manner and it was so exciting to go through all of them. My husband and I agree that Carly is the best and we are so grateful that she was able to photograph our wedding day!

We are so thrilled that Carly photographed our wedding. She was extemely detail-oriented. She reached out before the big day to coordinate everything such as shoot locations to timelines of the day. She researched the ceremony and reception site remotely via Google Earth (as it was out of state), so she could plan the best shots for lighting. She collected and took notes on names of family members and bridal party members ahead of time, so she had them memorized so she was able to direct and pose everyone by name, which was such a nice touch. We had so many guests comment on how friendly and personable Carly was and how comfortable they felt with her, and we certainly felt that. Both of us dislike being the center of attention. We expressed that to Carly and she made everything low key and easy. Carly did great with our dogs, one of is very rambunctious and was in our wedding. We also had family comment on how unobtrusive Carly was. We were blessed with an amazing double rainbow during our reception, which Carly was able to photograph with us in the foreground. Carly has sent us some amazing shots and we couldn't be happier to have had her as our photographer. We would strongly recommend using Carly Fuller!

We were so fortunate to have Carly take our engagement and wedding day photos. She first joined us last spring to take engagement photos on a dog-friendly beach and then around downtown Annapolis. In addition to the outcome of incredible photos, Carly’s energetic spirit made the whole experience while taking photos comfortable and fun and we instantly hoped she’d be able to join us for our wedding day. My husband couldn’t stop telling people that Carly “stopped traffic” downtown in order to get the perfect photo. Fast forward to December and Carly traveled to Cape Cod for our wedding. She arrived the day before and found the perfect private beach where we could take photos the next day. The fact that my husband was looking forward to taking photos again since we’d be working with Carly was priceless. Carly is extremely hard working, personable and has an incredible eye. We love the way she got to know everyone she would be working with throughout the day (including our pup!) and made taking photos in 15 degrees fun for all. She didn’t stop from the moment she arrived on the wedding day until the moment she left when she surprised us with her camera set up outside to capture the perfect moment in the nighttime snowfall. We loved sharing Carly’s blog post with our family and friends and were thrilled with our entire library of images when they arrived shortly after. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Carly not once, but twice, throughout our marriage. The first time she met us in Lynchburg Virginia to capture our engagement photos at all the spots that were important to us when we attended our alma matter (Lynchburg College). The images she was able to capture during that day were amazing and served as our "Save the Dates" and "Guest Book" for our wedding celebration. Her work is truly amazing and she made us feel extremely relaxed and comfortable throughout the entire shoot. Not to mention, we had a very hard time choosing which images to use for our "Save the Dates" since there were so many good pictures to choose from.

On the day of our wedding, Carly was with us for 12 hours!!!!! Since my husband and I decided to have a Catholic Ceremony (which was at 2:00pm) we had to get all of our wedding pictures completed before the ceremony. Carly and her assistant arrived in our bridal suite at 8:00am and captured every moment of our morning. While Carly was with me and my girls, her assistant was capturing my husband and his groomsmen getting ready.

All of the images Carly was able to capture throughout the whole day were truly amazing and her and her team were amazing to work with. Not once did I feel that I wasn't able to have a good time and enjoy my wedding day due to hundreds of pictures. Carly is INCREDIBLE! When I was looking to hire her, she spent 45 minutes on the phone with me just to explain the process and get a sense of my fiancé and I's interests! It was so kind of her! I immediately knew I had to have her as the photographer at our wedding! We recently had our engagement photo shoot with Carly and she still makes me so happy that I picked her! Carly was amazing to work with. She captured both our engagement and wedding photos. She made the engagement shoot so much fun even though my now husband and I were nervous and felt awkward in front of the camera. Her talent in capturing sweet reactions and candid moments resulted in dreamy photos even with our quirky, awkward ways! On our wedding day, Carly was focused, professional and attentive behind the lens and so much fun during all the bits in between. Throughout the course of the day, Carly continued to bring enthusiasm in capturing our wedding which resulted in us having gorgeous images that are special, personal and fun! We did not want our wedding photos to be generic, awkward and filled with forced smiles and Carly did not disappoint. With Carly’s talent and passion, she was able to capture real moments and all the emotions of the day. Carly was amazing!!! From the planning, to the day of, to after she was great. Carly answered all of my crazy questions and was honest about what was good and what was not. I mostly took her advice on locations and they were PERFECT! She was also flexible when I added a "travel" location to the mix. She was on time and could easily control my 28 person bridal party from NYC. The sky was important to me and she made all of our sky-photos look amazing. While getting ready my suite was a total disaster - none of her pictures showed the mess from 14 women - I have beautiful getting ready photos. I am so happy with her in every way. I highly recommend her to every bride. I think she is worth every penny!!!!

Carly was amazing. She was the hardest working person at my daughters wedding. She would get herself into any position to get the best shot. We pulled her away during her dinner break and she happily sprinted outside to take pictures with fireworks. She has so much energy and hops around snapping pictures while not getting in the way of the fun.

This review is long overdue but SO well deserved. Carly Fuller is amazing ( I cannot thank you enough Carly) You will not find another photographer that comes close to her talent. Since my wedding I have seen numerous wedding photos from family and friends weddings and none of them capture the day and the special moments like she did. It is just amazing what she does. Everyone who views my photos are in awe of how perfect she captured our one and only special day. She is worth every dollar spent if you want the best memories to last a lifetime. As I work on our wedding photo books for us and our family members (which are WAY overdue) I feel like I am reliving this day. BTW highly recommend getting the package with the album included as I am now creating ours over 3 years later :)

We cannot say enough fabulous things about Carly Fuller Photography. Carly had photographed my older sister's wedding seven years ago and did such a wonderful job that we asked her to do ours. Carly and Wendy photographed our wedding together, and the photos were better than I ever imagined. The lighting, posing and creativity were amazing. Carly did an awesome job capturing the best parts of our wedding and we haven't even seen all the photos yet. I would highly recommend Carly for your PA or destination wedding. She and Wendy traveled all the way to Williamsburg for our wedding and were fantastic. Their prices are reasonable and ABSOLUTELY worth it. Carly makes photography fun and light-hearted in order to make you relaxed and comfortable. Our guests loved Carly and a couple said they want to use her for their weddings!

WE LOVE CARLY! She was so easy to work with from start to finish. We decided to go with Carly after seeing her beautiful work on Facebook and reading her stellar reviews on Weddingwire. She did not disappoint! From our first phone call she impressed us with her great energy and a plethora of ideas for how to photograph us. We hung up and were so excited to work with her. When we had our engagement photo shoot we asked to incorporate our dogs and she was all about it. The pictures turned out so beautifully, with both dogs smiling in EVERY picture. We used those photos in our save the dates! Carly is a natural with humans and pets haha. We knew that after our engagement session that our wedding pictures were going to be beautiful too. My husband and I had our wedding on March 18, 2017 and Carly and her very helpful second photographer, Wendy, were a blast to work with! They were both so kind and bubbly, and fit right in with our guests. We honestly didn't even notice them taking pictures! They didn't stick out at all, and even blended in while dancing and taking action shots! Our guests loved Carly, too. A few said "you know your photographer is on the dance floor dancing and taking pictures?? We've never seen that before!" The photos turned out so beautiful. We couldn't be more pleased. I can't say enough great things about Carly, as evidenced by this long review. She is worth EVERY penny. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as much fun without her! She is the best!

To say that Carly Fuller is a great photographer is a complete understatement. SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! And I am not exaggerating. I originally researched online looking for the best photographer in the Annapolis area and her name immediately popped up. I was on deployment and was nervous because I couldn't call and talk to discuss my vision and what I really wanted to capture on my wedding day. I really shouldn't have worried because she did everything perfectly and she made it so easy on us. I can honestly say she didn't take a single break and stopped at nothing to get the best of the best photos. Everywhere I turned for the rehearsal dinner and wedding, I saw her! She was so present and concentrated on doing an amazing job for us.

My wedding day was PERFECT. Carly was absolutely phenomenal. She knew what she was doing-- I have never gotten so many comments about how impressive someone was at their job! EVERYONE, and I mean everyone, was saying how awesome she is. If she thought getting on her knees or laying on the floor would produce the perfect shot-- she did it, she knew how to use light and scenery to make everyone look stunning. She is so kind and bubbly and made it easy to take photos that didn't look staged-- they turned out so natural and I couldn't be happier with the results. I received the gallery of my wedding photos yesterday and WOW!!!! Even the site she uses is professional, extremely well done, easy to navigate, and honestly the best representation of our special day that I could ever ask for! If you're hesitant about picking the right photographer, Carly is the one! No matter the price, you NEED to get her! When my husband and I first started planning our wedding, one of the first vendors I knew I wanted to snag was Carly. She photographed my friend's wedding a few years earlier, and at the time, I remarked how great all of her photos turned out. There are definitely cheaper photographers out there, but you get what you pay for, and a talented and professional photographer is well worth the expense- you only have one chance to capture amazing memories that you'll look back on for a lifetime. Once we sat down with her, it was clear we made the right choice because the three of us got along so well. Our wedding was not going to be very traditional since we decided on an elegant Halloween theme, and she was so excited about all of our fun ideas. We immediately started brainstorming an appropriate engagement shoot location. She is adorable and fun and filled with great energy. We live in NY, but the wedding was in MD, and she worked with us to find dates to meet and do the engagement shoot via email no problem. Her communication was seamless, and she helped us find a DJ and florist that would work with our needs and budget. On the day of, she made sure we got all of the shots we wanted and knew how to pose everyone to look their best. She even got my dad to smile in more than one picture, which is pretty amazing, believe me. Our photos are really beautiful, even despite the rain, and I'm already thinking to myself, what kind of event we could have just to be able to work with her again.

I used Carly as my wedding photographer last August, I know I am super late writing this review but I just had my first wedding anniversary and my husband and I were looking through our wedding photos. Let me tell you, Carly was amazing! She got every photo I wanted and more. I still, a year later have people in my bridal party talking about how amazing and how on top of everything she was. Everyone loved her! Carly is truly one of a kind! I can't speak highly enough of her, and I'm beyond thankful that we found her! We had a blast at our engagement shoot - Carly has amazing ideas, and makes the whole process so much fun! We got our photos back within a week and were STUNNED by how beautiful they were. Carly was absolutely AMAZING. For both the engagement shoot and especially the wedding, she was professional, able to provide easy direction for formal photos/poses, switch tasks quickly (like switch from a formal shot to grab one of the kids playing), and above all, her energy and enthusiasm are apparent and contagious. She loves what she does and it shows. She gets you excited about the shoot. She captured all the photos we wanted, the little details, and especially at the reception, where things can get chaotic. She got everything.

The quality of her work is STELLAR. We received our photos about 2.5 weeks after the wedding, and all the photos are beyond what we had hoped for. The level of detail, composition, and clarity in each photo is the best I have ever experienced.

Carly is an absolute joy to work with, her work quality is absolutely SUPERB, and not only would I work with her again (in a heartbeat), but I will highly recommend her to any and everyone.

I dont even know where to begin with how amazing Carly was to work with. From the first meeting we had with her, I clicked with her instantly! Meeting with Carly to do our engagement pictures that she was willing to travel to Philly for was an absolute blast. She has an amazing eye for detail and awesome places and ways to pose for pictures. Working with her for our wedding was an absolute blast. We were SO lucky & happy to secure Carly for our wedding 6/6/15. We live in NYC & had our reception at the Four Seasons Baltimore. rom our first call with Carly she was responsive, professional and helped us select the best package for our interests/budget. An engagement shoot was included and we weren’t planning on doing one as we have busy jobs, but Carly let us know that she was going to be an NYC. She carved out a morning to do our engagement shoot on the Brooklyn Bridge. My hubby can sometimes be impatient, reserved w/strangers, & he was anxious about the idea of an engagmt. shoot. We met Carly that early at the BK Bridge & she had already been there scoping out the lighting and all the best spots around BK Bridge, City Hall & Seaport. Carly has this amazing energy & incredible way of immediately making you feel comfortable with her during the shoot. She had the best tips for making us pose naturally, avoiding awkward poses & made us really laugh! +2 hrs we had hundreds of amazing shots & my husband admitted to me he, "loved Carly". We were so thrilled with our choice. In days, we had a preview of photos & soon after, had all our photos available to DL/print/keep forever. We used an engagmt. shot for our Save the Date & got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! Before June 6, Carly helped with all our questions, was organized, flexible w/timelines & last min tweaks. On June 6, Carly brought her fantastic energy & kept our big wedding parties smiling, laughing & looking their best for all shots! I got so many compliments on Carly, our photos & keep referring her to all that ask incl. NY friends. She was incredible & everybody loved her. She is THAT AWESOME! I can’t say enough amazing things about her & how much we LOVE our photos! I will readily admit that when my now-wife and I were looking for a wedding photographer, I complained to no end about how unnecessarily expensive it was. I didn't understand the point of paying a ton of money for pictures. I was wrong. Early on in the photographer hunt, we had seen Carly's work and were impressed. We met her for coffee and to discuss her work and what we wanted for our wedding. The main reason we decided that we had to have Carly photograph our wedding was because we felt like she was one of our friends. She is sweet, bubbly, and funny. On the day of our wedding, she was on time and ready to go. One of the things that I loved was that she took charge and did her job but wasn't bossy about it. She never lost that sense of fun that we loved from the beginning. I hate posing for pictures for any length of time. Carly was so easy going that I didn't feel like posing and smiling was a chore. During the reception, I know she took a lot of candid shots of my friends and family dancing, but she fit right in, like she was just another guest partying. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I know all of my wedding pictures will be perfect and worth every penny. TL;DR: Carly is amazing and you need her in your life.

Where do I begin with my fantastic review of Carly Fuller??? Wow! Her photos from our wedding still take my breath away! We could not be happier with her or her photos! I was lucky enough to have Carly as my wedding photographer back in December. She was FANTASTIC. As soon as she walked in the door it was like the life of the party arrived. She got everyone even more excited than we already were, started snapping photos immediately and was an absolute joy to be around. I had the best time clowning around in front of her camera and the resulting photos were better than I imagined they would be. Amazing! That's the only word that comes to mind when describing Carly. Her bubbly personality made taking pictures so much fun! She has the ability to make you feel so comfortable when taking photos, which is a great thing to have in a photographer if you're camera shy like me. After meeting with her, we immediately knew she was the one (sounds so dramatic, but oh so true). She did our engagement photos in DC. It actually rained on the day we were first scheduled and she had no problem getting another date together so that we were able to get the pictures we wanted. She showed up at the wedding venue ahead of schedule to check the place out in order to determine the best spots for pictures. My family/guests at the wedding commented to me all night about how great she was and made them feel at home rather than in a photo studio, especially my granddad! He LOVED her!

We got our pictures back way before we expected, just a few weeks and they were amazing! Her work is just outstanding and I feel privileged that we found her. Next step is babies for her to photograph!!! :)

Carly is fantastic and so fun to work with! I was a little lost when it came to picking and interviewing photographers because there are so many options, so many reviews to comb through, and I don't know the first thing about photography when looking through blogs, websites, and portfolios. I'm so glad I went with Carly! She is 100% responsive, professional, but most of all we had a blast working with her for both the engagement and wedding photos. She made us relaxed and really enjoy our photoshoots. She is so much fun to have around and works great with everyone -- bride and groom, kids, stressed parents, etc. The pictures couldn't be more beautiful. You can't go wrong with hiring Carly!

Carly was amazing! She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and they all turned out way better than I ever could have imagined. She was so creative and energetic throughout the entire process. We had fun and really forgot that we were taking so many photos. I really liked that we didn't have to wait long at all to see our wedding photos. With the amount of pictures she took, I thought for sure it would have taken a month or so to see them. However, the day we arrived home from our honeymoon the "sneak peek" was up, and a few days later the rest were ready too. All of the photos are great, it is so hard to decide which ones should go in our album. I would highly recommend Carly and her team to anyone in MD, DC, VA looking for a wedding photographer. She is the best!!

I have never met someone as genuinely wonderful as Carly. Her work is incredible, her personality is worth all the money in the world, and did I mention how amazing her work is? Carly had the ability to go basically invisible through the whole ceremony yet captured every wonderful moment of the evening. Carly was able to not only connect with everyone, but she was also able to get the whole wedding party to pay attention - which was a task considering my husbands groomsmen are all military members/ team members that love to party. Carly was flawlessly perfect. I would recommend her to anyone.

Carly is absolutely amazing. She is not only a wonderful photographer but she is fun to be around. Our family and friends loved working with her. She was amazing to work with from our first meeting, always accommodating, quick to respond, and even willing to reschedule our engagement photo session because she knew that it would work better with our vision. We had wanted to do a session when the cherry blossoms were in bloom, because they bloomed so late this year she agreed without hesitation to delay the shoot by a couple of weeks so we could get the pictures we wanted. And they came out amazing! At the wedding she showed up completely organized and early, when it was time to take the pictures she kept everyone on schedule, and was always there to capture the pictures we wanted. She also had a great assistant helping her out. We have gotten a few sneak peaks of the wedding and when I say they are AMAZING that is an understatement. We truly can not wait to see all of the pictures from the wedding. I could not recommend Carly highly enough and I know Pat and I will definitely try to use her again in the future (if she isn't too busy by then to take us on again!).

Carly was fabulous from the first time we met with her to see her work portfolio, to the engagement pictures, till the delivery of our pictures. She was always so friendly and bubbly. She takes AMAZING pictures and has such a great eye for unique pictures that everyone of our friends and family have been so impressed with!

So easy to work with and she has a great assitant who came and helped out the day of our wedding (Wendy). I would definitely recommend Carly Fuller to any bride needing a photographer! You would not be disappointed by her work!!

Carly is AMAZING!!! She does magic with the camera! She has a great eye! She envisions the best shots and then she makes them happen. She has a wonderful personality and is able to work with her subjects, young and old, to bring out the best expressions; she can get you to smile, pose, laugh, feel the love, whatever image she is trying to capture, she makes it happen! We used Carly Fuller as the photographer for our wedding in downtown Baltimore at Hotel Monaco and let me tell you she was wonderful! Well worth every penny. Carly is very fun, personal, always upbeat, creative with her photos, and just an all around great person and a pleasant to be around. Carly really made our wedding day great. We requested two photographers so the second was another woman name Jennifer who was also outstanding and a pleasure to be around.

Carly had me at, “Meet up at a local coffee shop.” That’s when I knew Carly was ‘the one.’ I hadn’t even met her yet – and was ready to sign the contract. I already knew Carly was the perfect photographer when I went to her website, and the first song that played was by Jack Johnson, my (now) husband’s and my favorite shared modern musician. As the photo slideshow scrolled through, and every type of photo I imagined our engagement and wedding photos to look like were displayed- ones with emphasis on architecture and nature, fun angles, serious photos, silly photos, and real-moment photos.
When Carly replied to my email that she was available for our date and would like to meet [insert: at local coffee shop] I knew I didn’t even have to meet her in person. But when we did, she was SUCH a pleasure to meet with. I think we sat for almost 2 hours talking and looking at her spectacular photos. Her talent was there, and her bubbly personality a plus. Carly absolutely loves what she does, and it is evident in every photo she takes and talks about.
Carly is extremely flexible, we waited all winter for a snow-filled engagement shoot, but no snow came! So we planned for a sunny flower-budding April shoot! Did I also mention Carly was a ninja? And have you ever used the words bubbly and ninja in the same sentence? Well, when you book Carly, you will understand that she is a bubbly-ninja-photographer. She is fantastic. I didn’t even see her at the ceremony and reception at the time, but I know she was there from other people’s photos! She was like – Click! Click! Click! and then gone in a flash, yet shot the most amazing photographs.
I can’t thank Carly enough for sharing her wonderful talent and making our wedding day look as magical as it felt. You won’t regret booking Carly and her camera, she is the best!

Choosing our wedding photography was our number one priority. We wanted someone who could capture the love and fun as well as all of our well planned vintage details. We wanted our photos to be dramatic and artistic. After doing a ton of research on photographers in the Baltimore/D.C. area, we found that most of them whose work met our needs were way out of our budget. We then found Carly. We met with her over coffee to get to know each other and to see more of her work and to tell her what we were looking for. When my husband and I left this meeting, we knew we wanted to book her immediately. We cancelled our other photographer meetings and never looked back. I met with Carly again about a week before the wedding at our venue, just to catch up and review how our day would work. We discussed all of the details I had created for the wedding, locations we saw photos happening,etc. Her enthusiasm and excitement over what we we discussed matched mine. On the day of the wedding, Carly arrived and got started immediately even though everyone was rushing around to finish getting ready. She knew how to make the wedding party, family and even the sometimes grumpy children to be comfortable and to open them up for true smiles. Everyone had a blast working with her and couldn't stop talking about how great she was. We spent so much time laughing with her. During the reception, our second photographer (her assistant) had a perfect photobooth up. At this point, Carly generally just flitted around, capturing everything she saw, but every once in a while she would quietly pull us away when she was specifically inspired for a photograph. So far, we have not seen all of the results, only previews, but the results look to be absolutely stunning. We absolutely cannot wait to see the rest. Carly was the perfect photographer for us, and I hope to be able to hire her again in the future.

Carly is incredible.
Whilst not at the lowest price offering she is at the lower end and offers exceptional value, for a fantastic service. In posed shots she does an exceptional job of making people comfortable, who otherwise prefer to avoid the camera lens, making the whole experience fun for everyone. In natural shots she blends into the background whilst being everywhere to capture those precious moments.

We used Carly as our Wedding Photographer on May 19, 2012, and she was AMAZING.
Leading up to the wedding, Carly was great to work with and on the wedding day she was so much fun to have around she could keep control of the situation very well which was really important when you're trying to take group photos without missing any of the cocktail hour! Even my family members commented on how much they liked her.
I think it's really important to feel comfortable with your photographer, she was there for the most intimate parts of the wedding day! But, the most important part of the photographer is the pictures, of course, and hers were fantastic. She captured amazing moments and was never intrusive. I've gotten a ton of compliments on the photos, and my husband and I are SO happy with them. We loved that after our formal pictures were finished, Carly did an amazing job of being "invisible" during the reception and just got some of the most FUN pictures of everyone having a great time. Thank you SO much Carly! We would wholeheartedly recommend :)

In summary, Carly was fantastic! After checking out a few photographers and looking through a lot of portfolios, we contacted her to inquire about pricing and services included with the different packages she offers. She directed us to a personalized website she created for us with this information on it. When we made our decision, this login became the one we used to access our contract, invoice, and later, our survey to complete our shot sheet. It was super easy to navigate and kept things organized.

Carly did our engagement session and was very friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. Just watching her work, it was very apparent she is very good at what she does. She even had some of these photos featured on United with Love.

She and Kristin (the second photographer we hired through CF Photography) did a great job taking photos during our ceremony without anyone noticing their presence. Carly did not mind at all when my mom wanted to add on 6-7 additional groups to the original shot sheet we had sent her. She also helped fix my now-husband and groomsmen's pocket squares, taught us all how to hold a bouquet the right way, directed my large family in a professional and efficient way, and was excellent with the kids in our group.

Carly sent us a video collage of some of the photos to share with our friends and family as a preview 2 days after the wedding, as well as an email of what to expect in the coming weeks in terms of receiving our photos. I highly recommend her and would choose her all over again.

CF Photography is fantastic. I looked at dozens of local photographers when planning my wedding, meeting with several of them, and confidently chose Carly Fuller to work with. She has an amazing portfolio of weddings she's photographed and clearly loves what she does. Carly recently did our Engagement Shoot for our upcoming wedding. She was open to traveling for our shoot, and had suggestions for locations, even though she isn't local. Carly is very easy to work with - she gives you lots of pointers to help make your photos turn out well, she is creative and comes up with good and interesting shots during the shoot, and she is very encouraging during the actual shoot itself. Her turnaround time for the photos was extremely quick as well. We had ours back in less than a week. Our experience with the engagement shoot really solidified that we hired a great photographer for our wedding, and I'm excited for those photos as well.

Carly Fuller is Wonderful!

Carly Fuller Photography was wonderful to work with. Right from my initial call I felt comfortable with Carly, like she was a friend. She made me feel less stressed about the photography for the big day! Her associate Anna was the photographer for the day and she was wonderful. She came right to the AirBnB my bridal party rented and went to town on taking detail pictures and capturing the morning of getting ready! She was kind, calm and had a positivity that was a perfect addition to the day. They take to heart your photo requests and even had the list printed out so that they did not miss anything you wanted captured. Carly did my engagement and wedding photos and she was great to work with. She has this ability to make anyone feel like a million bucks in front of the camera. I can be camera shy, but she is always saying something encouraging to get you to smile bigger or give that look she wants. She can also take charge to get the pictures done so you don't have to be the one telling your bridal party to stay on task - and she does it without making anyone feel uncomfortable. The wedding day can be on a tight schedule so it is needed. On the day of the wedding I did contract for a second photographer as I wanted to make sure to get as many pictures as possible. And I definitely got so many pictures and only a few weeks after the wedding!
