We had the most perfect wedding day, and it was all thanks to the staff at Carlos Creek. From our initial venue tour to the end of the wedding night, the staff was nothing but attentive, helpful, and kind. One of the main reasons we chose this venue was their promise of "doing it all." We did not want our family or bridal party to have to put in work on our wedding day, and the staff did an amazing job of making that happen. The event team, especially Shelby, did such a great job throughout the planning process as well ensuring all of our questions were answered. Our family and guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, and we are very grateful for every person at Carlos Creek for giving us the easiest, most beautiful, and best wedding day ever! Thank you!

My husband and I got married at Bold North Cellars three weeks ago and it was amazing. Britt was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to answer a quick email and did a fantastic job coordinating everything on the day of the wedding. Every element of the day went smoothly, and our guests are still talking about what a beautiful venue BNC is. I can't thank the staff enough for going out of their way to make it a special day for us. Britt was so organized, which made it so much easier for Nate and I during the planning process. We were living in Ohio for the past year and unable to make it to Alexandria very often, and Britt was super accommodating and met via Zoom when possible. I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at Bold North Cellars.

Our Daughter recently got married here, and our entire experience was unbelievably fantastic! They're personal coordinator was Emma Groningen, and from the time we walked through the door Friday afternoon for practice until the time we walked out Saturday night after the reception/dance, Emma had a smile glued to her face the entire time. I'm convinced that my Daughter's smile was bigger during pictures because of experiencing less worry/stress because Emma took care of that worry/stress for them. A huge thank you to Carlos Creek Winery, particularly to Emma for making our Daughters special day fantastic!

We had an AMAZING wedding experience with Bold North Cellars. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful- well kept & decorated great. Fresh floral that went with the season, and you could tell they took pride in their event space. They have so many great places for photos- you could literally spend hours taking photos on their property in different areas, and you will not be disappointed!

Everyone we worked with in planning our wedding (even with all the changes due to COVID) were very polite and understanding, and you could tell they really wanted to help you plan your dream wedding. Their packages may seem expensive up front to some- however the inclusions are wonderful! Being able to choose from their options of beautiful fresh floral center pieces and decorations was huge for someone that isn't very creative and doesn't enjoy decorating. I went in with a vision, and they made it happen, They let you customize pretty much anything and are very accommodating! Also the package included transportation via coach bus to local hotels- how awesome that your guests dont have to worry about driving that night and that you as a bride dont have to coordinate with the bus company- as your wedding coordinator does all of the behind the scenes work for you! Speaking of wedding coordinator, one of the biggest things I reccomend to future brides is to have a wedding coordinator- and guess what! Bold North Cellars wedding package included they your own personal coordinator to work with- ours was Kelsey- and she was FANTASTIC.

I also wanted to let you know that our experience with Kelsey was phenomenal. Truly she stepped in when we really needed someone and you was so organized, easy to work with, and never made us feel like a bother. Communication with Kelsey was also clear and prompt, as well as professional. You could tell Kelsey genuinely cared about our experience on our wedding day. She was phenomenal to work with in both the planning stages as well as the day of.

I do also want to point out that Kelsey went above and beyond as a coordinator on our day. The hospitality she showed us, our family, & guests was wonderful. She was checking in frequently to see what we needed, to update us on time, and to answer any questions the bridal party had. The biggest thing that sure made us feel special was immediately after our ceremony when we were signing our marriage license, Kelsey came up and congratulated us and asked what she could get us to drink. She came back with drinks for both of us and said “cheers to the new mr & mrs” and although that may seem like something so small, it was the little acts of kindness like this that made us feel so special and feel confident in our decision to have our wedding with Bold North Cellars & Kelsey. She went out of our way to make our wedding day perfect, effortless on our end, & all we could have dreamed of. And always had a smile on her face.

We had an amazing day that we will never forget. The staff did a great job and many guests even commented on how smart and safe the venue was covid wise & not to mention how gorgeous it was. Highly recommend having a wedding here!

Carlos Creek Winery had the perfect backdrop for a beautiful evening. We loved that we could celebrate in a few different spots on the property so that our guests also had an evolving experience. The venue was well equipped with great connections in the Alexandria,MN area in order to get flowers organized and a wedding designer (who was also fantastic). Our on the day organizer, Melissa did a fantastic job helping to help keep things on track up to- and on the wedding day. Her and her team were fast and efficient to ensure everything was set up for our day, after there was a wedding the day before. I was very happy when I arrived to the venue to see that everything was set out as had been requested. The wedding day can be very stressful, but Melissa made everything come together and reassured me that everything is perfect. I am sure there are issues that came up that I didn't even know about. They just fixed it and made sure the night was perfect. We will never forget the end of the night having them join us in our final song of purple rain! On my father in law's death bed, he shared with me that our wedding was one of the best experiences of his life. He will never forget the beautiful outdoor ceremony spot, or the prime rib! There are not enough words to describe how absolutely AMAZING Michelle and the whole team at Carlos Creek Winery is!! From the moment we decided to have our wedding at CCW through even today, they have been SO incredibly thorough and extremely quick to respond!! Even through trying times during a pandemic, Michelle and the CCW team made everything so seamless and easy. They made our day so, so perfect in every way possible!! I still can’t believe just how perfect they made EVERYTHING!! Mary, the amazing florist they use, is hands down the BEST at what she does also!! Her work quite literally took everyone’s breath away!! The entire venue is simply stunning and there’s no other venue like it!! We are beyond thankful that we chose Carlos Creek as our wedding venue and we truly can’t say enough about absolutely every beautiful detail. We could never thank Michelle and the whole team enough for EVERYTHING!!!!

We had an incredible wedding at Carlos Creek Winery! They made planning and the day of so simple and very enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful! Mary, the on-site florist is also amazing. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was and Mary was a huge part of that. Also the day of coordinator service is the best thing ever. We brought a box of decorations (they have a ton of stuff you don’t need much) and our coordinator put it all up and did an amazing job. My husband and I and our families truly had zero work to do on our wedding day. Everything was so lovely, thanks Carlos Creek!

Carlos Creek Winery Weddings is not only the best of Minnesota – it is simply the best – period! I cannot express enough how exceptional the entire experience was – and everyone who came to the wedding said the same thing. If you are still reading this review – pause – and call/email them now to see if your wedding date is available – you will be so glad you did.

Now – about our experience. As a same sex couple getting married in Central Minnesota – we had some reservations as to what venues would actually welcome us. But the staff at Carlos Creek didn’t just welcome us with open arms, they gave us the best day of our lives.

First of all, the staff is SUPERB!! Paige Meier, who was our personal wedding manger, is one of the most experienced, detail oriented, and hands-on-managers you could hope to work with. She and her staff are simply the best people we could’ve asked for to help plan and then execute our wedding. From start to finish, Paige and her team was there to advise, guide and provide solutions for our many requests.

Since the team do over 60 weddings a year, they have it down. Nothing was missed and they gave us many great ideas for things we didn’t even think about. And … they are SO SO nice and always in communication with you! They wanted our day to be as amazing as we did and they exceeded our expectations.

Now the venue! It is beyond beautiful. We had guests coming from New York City and around the world and they all raved about how stunning the entire place was – the outdoor wedding location, the entire grounds, the sophisticated reception hall. Even if you choose to get married inside, the outstanding fireplace location is amazing. We went with all greenery and no flowers and the staff did an outstanding job. Even the food was great and of course the wine is chic and fun! They also work with so many vendors – they have tons of suggestions if you are ever in a pinch or have a unique request! We cannot recommend Carlos Creek Winery enough for your wedding – you (and your guests) will be so glad you did.

We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day! The staff is absolutely amazing! Our wedding coordinator, Regan, was very prompt with my many many emails of questions and requests. The florist, Mary, did a stunning job with the arbor for the ceremony and centerpieces for the reception. The winery grounds make for beautiful backdrops for photos and having a golf cart included in rental prices to access them was perfect! The entire process was so low stress, with it being almost all inclusive and the winery recommending vendors for the services not provided. We would do everything again, exactly the same way, without a second of hesitation!

Carlos Creek Winery was an absolute dream location for our wedding. The outdoor ceremony is beautiful, the reception area is warm and inviting, and the staff were professional and friendly. Our guests raved about the service and the wine. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a destination wedding in Minnesota. Living in Minneapolis, it was just a short drive up to Alexandria for our fall wedding. We were lucky enough to have the weather cooler but warm enough for an outdoor ceremony. Our wedding coordinator Melissa did a great job of answering all questions in a timely manner and was super helpful. Our only complaint and this doesn't exactly come from Carlos Creek was the food options. A lot of the reviews I read had guests raving about the food but when we had our tasting with the Depot Catering company, we were a little disappointed in the lack of flavor and scale of the options. It would be great if Carlos Creek had another caterer to choose from. That is truly our only complaint and would 100% recommend and use all over again. Thank you Carlos Creek Winery!

DUDE!!! What an amazing wedding venue!!! We had an absolute dream day, celebrating our wedding at Carlos Creek Winery last July. Beginning with the gorgeous natural cathedral outside, our ceremony was magic (I didn't expect that). What originally sold us was the layout of the inside, which proved to be more epic than we imagined. Everyone kept telling us how much fun they had. The venue layout is so comfortable because guests will feel so comfortable. There is so much to do and the entertainment is non-stop. Amazing layout!!!
Jaimee & Paige at Carlos Creek Winery were fantastic! As soon as we visited, we knew we had to have our wedding there. If you are considering a MN destination experience, this is the place. Our guests had an absolute blast because there was so much to do and the venue was perfect for our dance and especially our ceremony. CCW was my daughter's dream wedding location and one of the first we checked out. We decide to book a Friday date and the planning began. As the mother of the bride it was important to me that the planning, working with the venue of our choosing, and the day of was as stress free as possible. We wanted to enjoy it all and make loving memories to cherish. Carlos Creek Winery delivered beyond our expectations.
A few days before the wedding a major storm rolled through and it was a mess! They rallied the troops and the day of the wedding you would never had know the mess Mother Nature had left just a few days before! We received so many compliments on the beautiful setting and service! Melissa and Paige...simply AMAZING! Both communicated promptly and professionally! Day of Melissa had it all under control and we all felt in such good hands.
Mary the florist is amazing and will work with you to make your vision come alive. Finally the food...so good! Again, many compliments from our guests on how good everything was. Thank you CCW for a lifetime of special memories!

Carlos Creek Winery is the perfect place to get married! Both the staff and the venue are wonderful! The natural cathedral ceremony site is so breathtaking and romantic and the grand stables reception hall is spacious, rustic, and absolutely amazing! We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was from all of our guests!! The event team, Paige, Melissa, and Jaimee, helped us at every turn with whatever questions or requests we had and made our day perfect Perfect PERFECT! They truly made us feel like VIP guests throughout the whole process! Melissa was our “day of coordinator” and she was a rockstar! She was upbeat, organized, and kept everyone and everything in place on the big day! Mary, the florist for CCW, was also absolutely amazing! Our centerpieces, outdoor flowers, and arbor were stunning and I couldn’t picture anything more perfect for our big day! If you are looking for a picturesque romantic winery wedding than Carlos Creek is the best place possible! WE LOVE CCW! ☺

Additionally Mary Baumann (Master Floral Designer) is an absolute artist and a true master of her craft! From the greenery decor on the arbor in the natural cathedral, the floral in the reception, the guests and head table, each layer and tiny detail was displayed with such care and perfection that my bride and I both teared up sneaking a peek before the reception started. She also helped keep me calm right before the first look and we are so happy she was able to share and see the moment as I first saw my beautiful bride! Thank you Mary!!

I could write a novel when it comes to Carlos Creek Winery. It is everything we wanted in a wedding venue and then some. The grounds are impeccable, the sights are breathtaking, and the staff is talented and kind beyond any staff I have ever seen in any sort of profession. It quickly became very obvious to us as to why that is the case, its because they truly care and want everyone to share in the beauty that they are surrounded in daily at Carlos Creek Winery. We recently had our wedding at the Carlos Creek Winery and had the most amazing experience! From communication with our Coordinator (Paige) to execution the day of, everything was very seamless and better than we expected. Carlos Creek caters in and our food was incredible-- shocking they don't make it at the venue. I would recommend Carlos Creek Winery as a wedding venue to anyone as they helped make our day more special than we could imagine.

Before my wedding at Carlos Creek Winery, I already knew it was going to be fabulous from the start! The staff is so well organized and they were all incredibly helpful to not just me but, my family, and my now husband every step of the way. The day was beautiful and beyond what I could have ever imagined! Mary Baumann did a PHENOMENAL decorating the arbor and reception room! The food was cooked to perfection and the presentation was beautiful! The day-of coordinators helped me (nervous bride) know where I needed to be and when. They genuinely cared about making our day perfect, I noticed in my photos that I had forgotten a basket for my programs.....They had taken care of that by providing one for me and my photos look amazing! All the behind the scene things are ultimately what makes this venue a home run! We are so thankful to the staff at Carlos Creek Winery for making everything so easy for us!! We can not wait to return for a visit!

Carlos Creek was an absolute fairytale!! The day was absolutely perfect and we owe a lot of that to Michelle and the wonderful staff at Carlos Creek! Michelle made the planning process so easy, she was always so on top of it and very organized. I never felt stressed during the process because of how knowledgable and helpful Michelle was. Since I am not from the area, I was unfamiliar with vendors to use. Michelle recommended many options that were very helpful. My husband and I heard so many positives from our guests about the venue, food, wine, and staff. There is nothing I would change about this day; it was perfect!

Not only is Carlos Creek Winery a beautiful site for both a ceremony and reception, but the team there is amazing!

My husband and I wanted to find a venue that was affordable but also beautiful & unique. In addition, we wanted it to be as easy and stress-free for us as possible - not exactly an easy task - but Carlos Creek was exactly what we were looking for!

All decorations (centerpieces, etc) were included in the space rental. They also handled the catering and cake. And these are NOT cheap-looking decorations or mediocre food. The food was UNBELIEVABLE! So many guests at our wedding commented on just how amazing the food was. The decor was the perfect mix of classy but simple and modern - not over-the-top - which is exactly what we were looking for.

We were assigned a wedding coordinator that assisted us with every detail beginning months in advance of the wedding. Our coordinator, Paige, answered every one of my emails (with my random questions) within a day of receiving them. Paige was super helpful during the rehearsal and of course during the actual wedding day. She was there first thing in the morning and on-site the whole day until after it was over - constantly checking in, making sure we had what we needed while we were getting ready, and then, during the event itself, Paige made sure everything happened exactly as we had planned.

Overall, it was just so nice to know that everything was taken care of, and we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. We were able to just relax and enjoy ourselves. Everyone had a blast, and it was in large part due to the team at Carlos Creek. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place that's a little off the beaten path, but still maintains high standards of quality and service. You definitely can't go wrong choosing Carlos Creek!

Michelle and Paige were absolutely AMAZING to work with! My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about them and the rest of the Carlos Creek Winery staff. Five stars all around! Michelle was there to help us every step of the way. She answered questions promptly and gave honest opinions and suggestions. Paige was there the day of the wedding and I know for a fact the day would not have gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn't for her! She helped try and get a stain out of my dress. She helped when the iPod died right before the ceremony started and so much more that I'm sure I'm not even aware of because she made it run so smoothly! Also our hats go off to her and the rest of the staff that helped with the decor. When Dan and I walked into the ceremony site and reception area we were blown away by the beauty! We received so many compliments on how wonderful everything looked. The only slightly disappointing portion of the day was the food at the reception. However, we didn't choose Carlos Creek Winery for the food which was a very minor part of the day for us. We chose CCW for the outstanding staff, the amazing venue, and the very delicious wine :-) We are looking forward to coming back every year to relive our wonderful day! Cheers!

Carlos Creek Winery was amazing!!! Because Michelle had everything taken care of, I was able to relax and enjoy our day even after I had a glass of red wine spilled down the front of my dress!! She was right there to save the day! I would relive our wedding day at any given point not only because of the beautiful winery itself, but because of the exceptional staff there!

I am the mother of the bride! My daughters wedding was absolutely beautiful. Michelle and Paige worked very hard and made sure that every detail was perfect. The decorations were perfect, way beyond what we expected. The best part about all of this was I didn't really have to do anything! They set everything up and take everything down. Our personal belonging were altogether so we just had to load our vehicle at the end of the night.
The wedding was magical! I would not hesitate to recommend Carlos Creek Winery for a wedding.

I am originally from the Alexandria area and have been to a lot of different venues for weddings. As soon as I got engaged I knew there was only one option for where I wanted to have my wedding, and that was Carlos Creek Winery. It is absolutely Beautiful!!!

I now live in Indiana but all of our family is still from Minnesota so we wanted to have it in my hometown. You would think that planning from a distance would be extremely difficult and stressful, I'm telling you what, I had absolutely ZERO stress. The only stress I had was deciding which food to choose because they were all so delicious.

My biggest wish for my wedding was just being able to show up!! I didn't want to worry about having to go decorate the venue the night before or the morning of, or having my mom/aunts have to worry about doing that. I dropped off everything that I had purchased for the wedding Thursday before and told Michelle & Page what everything was and they had everything set up.

Michelle and Page were more than helpful! They went to the extremes to make sure everything was done right, on time and made sure everything went smoothly, that includes the day of and the year and a half of planning. I could run ideas & concerns through them and they were very helpful with making my ideas work or if they have seen it before and it didn't go so well they were honest up front so I didn't waste money buying something. They have it down to a science to make sure that everything goes perfect. I can not say enough about Michelle and for everyone who helped make our wedding as memorable, thrilling and exciting as it was!

Our wedding was Absolutely perfect! Beautiful place to have your ceremony and reception all in one! It is a beautiful place, beautiful decorations, endless photo ops throughout the vineyard etc. We couldn't have asked for it to be more perfect! All of our family and friends were in awe! Words cannot express how thankful we are to CCW for making our day PERFECT!

Michelle, Katie, and Paige were fantastic! I really wanted to just show up the day of and have a great time and they pulled it off! Decorations were done, rehearsal the night before, coordinating with a few outside vendors, bar staff, everything was done by them for us to be able to have a great day! We had a few dietary needs that were easily figured out as well by the ladies and the caterers. Such a beautiful day that we got to enjoy as the women took care of everything!!!

We can't say enough about Michelle and the rest of the staff at Carlos Creek Winery. We wanted to get married at a winery or vineyard, and Carlos Creek was the first place we visited. We never visited a second place. We could not have written the deposit check fast enough. From that day on, Michelle was always a phone call or email away. Throughout the 15 or so months that we planned our wedding, there was never a moment where Carlos Creek made us feel like we were "just another wedding". We always felt as though our needs and desires were important, and there was never a moment where we felt ignored or unimportant. All weddings have hiccups now and again. Our lone hiccup revolved around the catering company (which was NOT Carlos Creek). When we were initially unsatisfied with the service, Michelle did not hesitate to fix the situation and make it right. The day of our wedding, all of our family, friends, and guests were treated with the utmost respect by Katie and the staff of the winery. We could go on-and-on with praise, but to sum it up, we had the best, most memorable wedding, and it was everything we had hoped and prayed for! We are so grateful for Carlos Creek, and look forward to many years of future visits to the winery to re-visit....and to drink some of their great wine!!

We loved working with the staff from Carlos Creek Winery for our wedding. Michelle was wonderful with helping us in the planning process - always very timely in returning phone calls and emails, available for questions, and had some outstanding recommendations for local vendors, which we really appreciated. Katie was absolutely fabulous the day of our ceremony - there was an unpredicted change in weather during the ceremony and everything was arranged behind the scenes to accommodate our move indoors without us even having to be bothered. The food catered was outstanding, and everyone we worked with was so kind and helpful. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

The wedding day went perfectly smooth and everything happened like they promised it would. I had rave reviews from my guests regarding the food (both in taste and how the different 'stations' were set up) and how beautiful the venue was.

The winery is amazing. We were scheduled for an outdoor wedding, but it rained off and on all day. The staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate an indoor wedding very quickly. All our guests understood that there was a venue change but were still very impressed with the wedding. The staff worked with us so well and was there for anything we needed prior to the wedding, the day of the wedding, and even now well after the wedding.

This was the perfect wedding venue for us. Michelle and her assistant helped so much leading up to the wedding and the day of. We truly felt as though they were our close personal friends after all of our emails and meetings. The food, wine, and beer was amazing, and we got so many compliments on it. The set up of the ceremony and reception were done so well and everything looked great. We did not have to worry about a thing. The shuttle also worked out well after the reception. The table decorations were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I would recommend this venue to any future bride!

Our wedding at Carlos creek was wonderful. I chose it based on reviews and that so many services were provided by them so I wouldn't have to worry about that aspect of planning a wedding. Michelle and the day of coordinator (Katie?) were amazing. It ended up being indoors because of weather, but it was still beautiful. Service was excellent, food was good, and the wine was great. I didn't use their centerpieces, but wish I would have ( I did my own, but am not very crafty, so I didn't enjoy doing that so wish I had just paid for theirs). Such a beautiful venue. Guests commented on how unique it was.

I attended a wedding at the winery, and I wasn't in the bridal party, but my date was. So I got to explore the grounds and experience all the other parts of the winery while the bridal party took pictures. First of all, the place is gorgeous and well-kept. Everyone I came across who worked for the winery was extremely helpful. The free wine tour and wine sampling system offered were a great start to my day long adventure there. The wedding was in the grand stables, and everything flowed flawlessly. Michelle and her staff were helpful along every step of the way, and were hands down the most genuine and fun people I've met. Keep up the good work! You can’t go wrong having a wedding here, or any wine outing.

I could not have asked for a better wedding day! It was perfect and exactly what I imagined. The staff is wonderful, especially Michelle the wedding coordinator. She was so helpful and always very prompt. Made it as much of a stress free process as possible. The wine is amazing!

We hosted our wedding at Carlos Creek Winery last July. It was perfect! We planned our wedding from Seattle and Michelle was SO great at helping us coordinate everything - I truly felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing. We chose to do a lot of things ourselves (flowers, cake, etc.), which they were very open to.

It actually rained the day of our wedding, but the natural amphitheater was still beautiful and Michelle was there with umbrellas for the guests :) Plus, no one minded a break from the heat!

The reception hall is huge - big enough for a very large group. Ours was small, but it was still a beautiful venue to host in.

We just had our wedding at Carlos Creek Winery last weekend and it was MORE than I could have asked for! Everything went perfectly. The staff was so helpful, and everything was done for you before you could even ask for it like set up and take down. Michelle answered questions so quickly and had great ideas for me (I had a lot of questions considering it was my first wedding planning process). The setting is so romantic and the outdoors so beautiful that the venue speaks for itself. We had so many compliments from not only our guests but our vendors as well on what a great venue this was! We had the pasta bar option for food and it was delicious and convenient for the guests. Picking out a wine list for your own wedding is pretty great, too! :) We loved everything about this venue and the staff and highly recommend it.

Michelle and her team are amazing! Everything went off without a hitch and she was there throughout the whole process to answer any questions that we had! The location is beautiful and we received tons of compliments from our guests!

We planned a wedding for my daughter and her fiance this past July 2012 at the Carlos Creek Winery. We got more than we could have ever asked for or imagined. It’s not easy to plan a wedding when you live out of state (Texas) but Michelle and Tami made it so easy. They are very good at paying attention to all the details of what you want to create… but they also give you great ideas when you’re not so sure. They were a delight to work from start to finish because they are very confident of their process.

The wedding itself could not have been more charming in the “Natural Cathedral” outside. We then had a social hour on the private terrace overlooking the vineyard before we all entered the reception hall. The terrace was very picturesque and the service for the open bar & hor d'oeuvres was perfect.

The reception hall is very beautiful too with a great elegant but rustic look. And there are so many photo opportunities with the horse stables, wine cellar, and vineyards. Everyone was in such a festive mood simply because you’re at a winery! And the wine was great too! All and all, it was an A+ experience… everyone keeps talking about how fun the whole wedding experience was. I would highly recommend planning a wedding at Carlos Creek Winery.

Carlos Creek Winery did a fabulous job hosting our wedding ceremony and reception! We are completely satisfied with the service and overall atmosphere of the day! The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the wedding coordinator was always able to answer any and all questions I had and always gave a timely response. (No question was too small or silly.) The property of the winery is gorgeous and makes for fabulous wedding photos. We heard so many compliments from our guests about how nice the evening was-- outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour on the patio, and indoor reception.

They especially liked having the option to ride the complimentary shuttle bus service into town to the hotels at the end of the night. I couldn't be more happy with how our wedding turned out. HIGHLY recommend any future brides looking for a venue to at least go for a visit to taste some wine and view the property!

Carlos Creek Winery was a wonderful and beautiful place for my wedding. It was everything I dreamed of and more! There are different locations and settings to choose from and the staff is very friendly. It's unique and beautiful and will be an experience you'll always remember.

My fiance and I chose Carlos Creek Winery for our wedding this past summer. We were so happy we did!! Since we were from out of town, I was a little nervous about planning the event over the phone and in emails.
From the moment we met Michelle at the Winery we felt that every thing would be taken care of with no problems. She was available for phone calls and returned emails promptly.
There are several sites on the property for ceremonies. Each space was a little different. We chose the 'natural cathedral' for the shade. Since our wedding was in July and we wanted the ceremony outside, the shade sure helped!
They remodeled their reception space this past winter. We saw the before and after. The after is beautiful! The food was great and the employees were very helpful!
Overall we had a great time and everything was taken care of with no issues!

Carlos Creek is amazing! Going into the wedding I thought it would be good, never in a million years did I think it would turn out to be fabulous. Our guests were impressed that the afternoon went so smoothly. We were married in the Cathedral and had a social hour on the terreace. It was followed by dinner in the reception hall. Michelle and Chris were outstanding. They were both there at every turn and made my wedding day run perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend using the Winery for your wedding.

Carlos Creek Winery was an amazing venue the space and grandeur alone makes this place the things fairytales are made of. From our first meeting with them hiking through 3 ft of snow to make sure we were able to see the outdoor venue I was interested in with Katie and talking about menu with Michelle, the team made us feel like we were a priority. On the day of everything went so smoothly, I'm used to watching those bridal shows on TV were something always goes wrong, I was mentally prepared for that but with Michelle there she was on top of everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Michelle made sure everything and everyone was where they needed to be, even the small things that would have been no issue for someone to do real quick she made sure no one had to. Michelle was so wonderful and helpful, I know the day wouldn't have gone as smoothly with out her and her team. Our photos look great in their indoor and outdoor spaces, its an absolutely beautiful space.

I thought the quality of service and the venue was unbelievable! I had an amazing time on my wedding and everything leading up to the big day. Michelle was amazing to work with. The only down fall that we experienced was the food. Not because it was not good, but because it was not what we ordered. At our pre wedding tasting we wanted to try the Herb Stuffed Pork Chop which was huge and amazing!! When our guests and husband got our it was a very small minimally stuffed pork chop. But to end this on a plus note, Michelle worked with us to get the menu that we wanted, and one that made our guests happy!!!

Carlos Creek was the perfect location for our wedding. We had several guest comment that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to!

What a great experience! Everything was so easy! Michelle was so great, helping to guide us in decisions that we really didn't know how to make. She helped give of ideas and if I had any questions, she got back to me right away. The ceremony sites are all gorgeous and the reception hall worked out perfectly. I was concerned that it would look empty with it being so big, but it looked great with all of the touches from the winery! There was more than enough food and everyone had a great time. The wine slushies were a huge hit, as were the mashed potatoe martinis! I have no complaints and would be really happy to attend a wedding here as well. My family from out of state was pleased to see such a beautiful area in Minnesota. Our wedding turned out better than I ever could have imagined and I'm so glad that we got married at the Carlos Creek Winery.

We had the most incredible wedding experience with Bold North Cellars. The planning process is so well thought out, and the director and her team of coordinators are so detailed and take care of all the logistics leading up to, and on the wedding day. I’ve been a part of many weddings and knew I wanted my day to be stress free and knew the value that the wedding package offered by Bold North Cellars brings to the entire bridal party. It was worth every penny not to have to set up tables or décor, meet/coordinate with vendors, or worry about any of the logistics on wedding day. I relaxed and had fun with my friends/family and truly enjoyed the day. The entire Bold North staff was great to work with and they made sure that our day was perfect.
The space is stunning, inside, and out. Minnesota weather can be unpredictable, so having a backup indoor space was very important. Our day ended up being beautiful, and the natural cathedral, our outdoor photos, and the social hour on the Creekside deck turned out beautiful. The Grand Hall is beautiful, and so unique compared to venues in the area. I was speechless when seeing our space for the first time and everyone is still talking about how gorgeous the wedding was from the ceremony space, social area, and the reception. The food was great (the garlic mashed potatoes are seriously the best), and the staff served our 280+ plated dinner without a hitch. Our coordinator and the entire staff were attentive to us and our guests all evening, and everyone was so grateful for the shuttle bus service (included in the wedding package - huge bonus) back to the hotels at the end of the night.
Planning a wedding requires a lot of decisions, and this was by far THE BEST decision we made. Our day was perfect, and we will be forever grateful for Bold North Cellars, and the incredible team that took care of us and our guests on our special day. Thank you! xx A&K

My wedding was wonderful at ccw!

Michelle, the event coordinator, was amazing! I was planning my wedding from another country and she was really flexible and responsive. The space is beautiful and my guests were very impressed by the natural charm of the space. The food was okay (we chose from the reserve menu), but not blow-you-away amazing. Overall a great experience and I would send any bride the winery's way.

Carlos Creek Winery was a beautiful venue for our wedding and reception. The improvements they've made to the property has made it a VERY desirable place to have a wedding. Michelle was beyond excellent to work with- promptly replying to all questions and concerns. She also has very great suggestions, and is as 'hands-on' as you need her to be. Our guests had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the winery experience! (The beautiful day was an added bonus)

Try the wine slushies when creating your menus. Our guests loved them and they were a wonderfully unique experience.

Our experience at Carlos Creek Winery was wonderful. Every person we worked with on the staff was a pleasure and we greatly appreciated that they were working hard to make our event what we wanted.

We just had our wedding here last weekend and received so many compliments on everything from the ceremony site (the smaller venue opposite of the Natural Cathedral) to the social hour on the terrace and the reception in the former horse arena.

Michelle was great to work with and was very responsive with any questions we had. There was a state wide fire convention the weekend of our wedding and so we had people booked at numerous hotels, normally the shuttle service stops at "up to 3" places. I mentioned our dilemma to Michelle and she just said "don't worry, we'll take care of it." I didn't worry for a second after that and everyone got to their hotel with no hassles.

The food was good for wedding food catered by The Depot in town. I was annoyed when the bartender/co-coordinator asked to see my bridesmaids ID's at the social hour but not for any of the groomsmen... I understand the need to check ID's but it should be required of everyone not only the females.

Very nice place, loeved that we got to choose to have the ceremony outside and if there was bad weather they would have moved it inside for us. Only suggestion is where we had the reception it seemed like it needed better sound buffers so we could have enjoyed our band more, otherwise love the place!!!! And Michelle the event coordinator was sooooo helpful!!!

I can't say enough good things about Carlos Creek Winery - it is truly a wonderful find for a wedding location! They have awesome staff (Thanks Michelle!) and the wine and food was wonderful and less then what I would have paid in the Twin Cities area! What a neat place to get married for a fun and unique feel! We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony (they have several locations for everything from a small to large wedding), Beautiful reception area and grounds for your friends and families to go explore and WONDERFUL wine! I really enjoyed my whole experience there and the staff was wonderful to work with! I really liked the fact that after the winery closed the whole grounds was ours for the rest of the night and we were the only wedding there! Thanks you so much for the most wonderful day in my life so far!

I absolutely loved having my wedding at Carlos Creek Winery! The scenery was stunning and all my guests were truly "wowed" by the experience. It was a unique and beautiful venue that offered many unforgettable and amazing photo opportunities. I chose to ride in on a horse and carriage with my dad and as I came over the hill and through the grape vines, I could hear the "oohs" and "aahs" from all of my guests. I truly felt like Cinderella for a day!

Michelle (the event coordinator) was great to work with and was always there to answer any questions or concerns I had. She was very friendly and professional and did everything she could to make my day special!

Although Carlos Creek Winery only served beer or wine, they did try to accommodate us with a few alternate options such as "Wine-a-ritas" and a coffee bar, as well as non-alcoholic beverages (water, pop ect.).

Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue full of breath-taking scenery and a completely unique experience.

Overall a great experience. The event coordinator was switched the day before the wedding which made me nervous because she was not the one we had been planning everything with. I wish the late night snack lasted longer and the man that served ice cream was kind of rude.

Carlos Creek Winery is a beautiful venue and the inclusions you get really make it a great value. We did have some issues with our emails not being answered promptly, especially the month before our wedding. Also our coordinator was changed without notice several times from when we booked until the day before our wedding.
All in all our day was beautiful and went flawlessly. Despite some communication issues, I would recommend to anyone!

Overall the wedding was wonderful. Carlos Creek Winery is a beautiful place to get married. As with any wedding, there were a couple snafus, but nothing major. The event staff was very helpful throughout the whole process. Michelle does a wonderful job communicating the whole time. She helped us plan the wedding from another state, and everything turned out beautifully.

My husband and I were married at Carlos Creek Winery in November. Overall, we both had positive experiences with the winery and are so happy with how our ceremony and reception turned out!

There were lots of great things about getting married at CCW. Some of the aspects we really liked were the venue itself (we opted for an indoor ceremony by the fireplace and it was absolutely gorgeous!) , the floral work (Mary is so amazing!! We did some custom floral and loved it!), the fact that the winery does most of the decorating, and that it was overall a hands-off experience for us on our wedding day. The food was good for catering for a large crowd, and the upgrade to popovers was definitely worth it! It was also fun having the wine specifically from CCW, and having a shuttle service through the winery was also a big plus - we knew that our guests would have a safe ride home after the wedding.

There are also some things that could be improved. We felt that communication wasn't the best, and my husband and I had a fairly unpleasant experience at the bar in the tasting room the day of our wedding. A bartender refused to serve us wine since we didn't have our IDs or credit card on us - we were literally in our wedding gown/suit and the bride/groom drink free the day of the wedding. That's understandable (it's a legal matter, sure) but the bartender was extremely snide in her remarks and very off-putting - basically just laughed in our faces. Also, we felt that at the end of the night we were rushed out the door and the employee was not very kind in letting us know that we really needed to get a move on. Just know that when they want you out by a certain time, you can't be a minute over without being threatened with extra charges.

That being said, we wouldn't have changed having our wedding at Carlos Creek, and we certainly still recommend this venue!

The wedding turned out great, however there were more than enough glitches throughout the whole process. Michelle is great, its the Winery and it's policies that are less than desirable. Being accused of things and having your security deposit threatened to be taken away the day after the wedding because of things you weren't aware of happening and an unprofessional procedure to deal with the problem was more stress than a newlywed couple would like to take on. Everything ended fine, but the company wreaks of stinginess and unprofessionalism. Beautiful place though. I would love for the winery to be a place my husband and I go back to visit to reminisce our wedding, however I think I'll pass.

We thought the world of this place until the day of our wedding. The "wedding coordinator" was no where to be found on the day of our wedding and her assistant couldn't answer any of my questions and I was the bride. We had a gorgeous day and a gorgeous venue just could have used more assistance that we were paying for.
