My mom found heather to help us plan my wedding on May 6, 2023. Hiring Heather was the best decision we made out of my whole wedding. I got the wedding of my dreams thanks to Heather.
I had an idea of what I wanted, a general look and theme, but heather brought it completely to life. Everything I could have wanted and more. The reception space was completely transformed, and I know that it turned out so amazing and beautiful thanks to Heather.
She made the planning process easy, communicated with all of the vendors so I didn’t have to. When I did get overwhelmed, Heather helped me make the right decision every time.
Heather was extremely responsive, answered every question, and was supportive of all of my ideas. She is very kind, truly knows what she is doing, and is extremely professional.
She made my wedding day more than perfect; she truly helped me turn my vision into a reality and created an absolutely beautiful wedding from start to finish.
My family loved Heather so much they would have hired her for my sister’s wedding, but she is getting married in a different state.
Heather is a wedding planner who will be with you every step of the way, bring your vision to life, and will show you that she truly cares about the couple she is working with and what they want for their special day.
I would recommend Heather to everyone, and if I were to do it all again Heather would be my first call. -

We had the pleasure of working with Heather and the Carefree Events team as the photography and videography vendors (Killer Creations – www.killercreations.com) for a beautiful 3-day destination wedding in Big Sky Montana. From start to finish, they were outstanding professionals who made the entire event run seamlessly.
Heather and her team provided exceptional support before, during, and after the wedding: coordinating logistics, timelines, and details with ease, which allowed us to focus on capturing every magical moment without any stress. Their organization and calm demeanor were invaluable for such a multi-day destination event in Montana's stunning landscapes.
We've collaborated on many weddings, and Carefree Events truly stands out for their dedication and expertise. We highly recommend them to any couple planning a Montana wedding, you won't find a more reliable and talented planner!

Heather and Sydney are absolutely incredible wedding planners, truly 5 stars isn’t enough! From start to finish, they were professional, supportive, and such a joy to work with. I interviewed multiple wedding planners and from day 1 Heather stood out to me with her eagerness to get to know me and my husband vs "put on an event" and amazingly type A personality! On the wedding day itself, we had a little bit of rain and Heather immediately jumped into action. She knew I was nervous because of our space capacity, but she seamlessly pivoted to our backup plan for the outdoor tables and kept everything running smoothly. Thankfully the skies cleared and the rest of the evening went off perfectly, thanks to her calm and steady presence. I truly didn't even notice she did it so flawlessly!
Heather went above and beyond in every way, even during photos when my husband realized a button had popped off his tux, she pulled out a sewing kit and fixed it on the spot! That moment alone shows just how prepared, thoughtful, and dedicated she is.
If you’re looking for a team who will make sure your day is stress-free, beautiful, and perfectly managed to a tee, Heather and Sydney are it. 10/10 recommend! -

Heather is an incredibly efficient, communicative, organized, and thoughtful planner. She did a great job keeping us on track and on the timeline with her easy and timely communication. She found great vendors for us to choose from and kept things very simple on our end of the work. Heather's creativity and ideas for the wedding really helped make it a truly special day just for us. Hiring Heather was the best decision we made during wedding planning. She’s organized, a great communicator, and helped me make decisions and have fun with the entire wedding planning process. Her incredible creativity and attention to detail brought my vision to life, while being cost conscious and clever with the budget. She introduced me to amazing vendors who all contributed to such a beautiful day.
My hope was to have the ceremony outside in early November (which is definitely a risk in Montana), and Heather kept that goal in mind throughout planning, ensuring we’d be ready for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. The morning of our wedding I woke up to pouring rain, but I truly felt carefree, because Heather and I decided that she’d make the call on indoor or outdoor ceremony based on the forecast…and we ended up having a beautiful ceremony outdoors!
The wedding day exceeded our expectations and that would not have been possible without Heather and her team.

Heather/Carefree Events was the best decision in making our dream wedding come true! Being from Ohio, Heather help make our wedding in Montana a day our friends and family will never forget. Heather's planning and advice made everything stress free throughout the entire process. She helped in finding the best vendors within our budget. I couldn't have done this wedding without Heather, especially the day of the wedding, as she handled everything, and I could enjoy the entire day because everything was taken care of! Heather is THE BEST!
You know how everyone always talks about how stressful it is to plan a wedding? Well, they obviously didn’t have Heather as a wedding planner. Don’t get me wrong- it can certainly be stressful for various reasons—but Heather has a gift for bringing the calm AND creativity. Her ability to run with what little we gave her in terms of vision was outstanding and the communication was organized and clear. I especially loved that if/when someone other than my (now) husband or I would chime in with opinions—she would always bring it back to the two of us, to make sure it was something WE aligned with. Heather also helped us with the rehearsal dinner and even gift bags—all of which turned out fantastic. The whole weekend was beautiful, stress free, and truly felt like US—while also pleasing my (way more) traditional Southern parents. :)
I could seriously go on and on about how incredible Heather is to work with, but that would take a while! Just book with her and see for yourself! -

Heather was the perfect day of coordinator. She executes well, remains calm and cool, and gave us a stress free perfect wedding day! Even with iffy weather, she made our outdoor wedding dreams happen and we will forever be grateful! It took me a really long time to find my 'one.' When we got engaged, everyone started to talk about wedding planning and how crazy and stressful it is. That stressed me out. As I dove in, I realized it was going to be a monumental hill to climb -- until I met Heather. She consolidated every single part of the process into manageable buckets. Not only did she put together an absolute dream team of vendors, she kept everything so organized and streamlined. Heather didn't miss one detail leading up to or on the day. Not one. She's creative and thought outside of the box to give us unique touches that people are still talking about. The wedding blew everyone away, and my husband and I are still pinching ourselves. Heather made our day amazing!
Hiring Heather as our day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our day. Though she was our day of coordinator, we were in contact with her for months before the wedding, and she gave us really helpful advice, as our wedding in Montana was a destination for us. Heather thought of details, that I wouldn't even think to consider. On the wedding day itself, she was the logistics queen, and I truly did not need to worry as she had everything covered. She was so kind and friendly, and the day went so smooth because of her organization. She even sewed my dress really quick when there was a slight snag. My father is also handicapped, and she made sure everything would go smooth with him. She laid out comfortable seating everywhere, and it really made all the difference in our guest experience. Heather got my vision from the beginning, and she truly made it happen for us! Thank you Heather! -

Heather was the most incredible person to work with and made our wedding vision come to life better than we could have imagined. Every step of the way she was calm, kind and responsive, offered suggestions for vendors, helped with getting multiple vendor bids and signing contracts, stayed on track with our budget, sent reminders about payments, and thought about all the extra details I didn't even know to think of. Our wedding day was an absolute breeze because Heather took care of everything, so we were able to enjoy all the moments and not worry about planning details. She went above and beyond with her services, and helped us create the most beautiful and memorable day of our lives. When I saw everything we had spent a year planning come to life in front of me, I cried happy tears because it exceeded every expectation I had. Heather did a wonderful job planning our winter destination wedding in Montana. The day went off without a hitch and she took care of all the little details so that I could relax and enjoy my day. I honestly can't say enough positive things about how talented Heather is at her work. We decided to hire a wedding planner shortly after booking our venue, Rainbow Ranch, due to my husband and I living in NY and wanting a knowledgeable, experienced and connected wedding planner who lived in Montana to help us book all other vendors. Heather is all of these things and so much more.
She was so responsive, helped me stay organized and reassured me all the way up to and on my wedding day. Beyond that, our wedding day happened to be the first big snow of the season which put a big damper on my vision of being married on the beautiful lawn with the arch covered in flowers. Heather had her husband build a GORGEOUS wooden arch (free of charge) that seriously looked like Jesus himself had built it to keep my dreams of that flower arch alive. She worked with the venue to come up with an amazing back up plan (which she then executed seamlessly) to move the ceremony to the covered deck with the new arch covered in flowers, the cocktail hour was moved from the lawn to two covered and heated tents and looked like a cozy vintage living room. Above all, she calmed me and told me to trust her and I am so glad that I did. EVERYTHING about the planning process AND the day of the wedding was better because of Heather.
Every last detail from the invites, to the place settings, napkins, decor, etc., was perfect and that was due to Heather.
I am forever grateful we hired her and would recommend her for any future Montana bride! -

Where's the 6 out of 5 Stars Option?!
If you're looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond your expectations, Heather is the planner for you! Months before our wedding, Heather was in constant communication with us, up to the day before, regarding plans and details that we needed to stay on track before the wedding date arrived. She was our line of communication for the vendors and had fantastic recommendations to share and allow us to pick from. There were so many aspects of the wedding we would have never thought of if it hadn't been for Heather. She has experience, and it shows. Based on her professionalism and knowledge leading up to the wedding in communication, I knew she would be great to work with and come the day of the wedding, she far exceeded expectations. Everyone in attendance made a comment at some point about how awesome of a job Heather was doing behind the scenes. It's those moments that you could tell, she knew what she was doing and she has passion for her job. Heather was invaluable from start to finish and words can't describe how much she did for us. If you're debating about who to hire for your events and weddings, get in touch with Heather now, you won't be disappointed. -

Heather is THE BEST
Not to sound cliche, but our wedding was really THE BET DAY EVER. It would never have gone as smoothly without Heather there. She is very attention oriented; making sure all the details were set perfectly, while helping to corral the wedding party and family into their places (which wasn't easy with our wild crew)...and somehow she does all of this with a smile. She is patient, and incredibly hard working. She communicates throughout the entire planning process, making sure to connect all the vendors and get our timeline nailed down. She's the BEST. if you're looking for a planner and coordinator who is professional, organized, down to earth, and genuinely caring, Heather is your girl! -

We hired Heather for day-of coordination for our wedding once we realized just how many things need to be done for the day to run smoothly. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. She helped us prep in the months leading up to the wedding by making a schedule in coordination with the rest of our vendors. She was easily available throughout the whole process. She did such a great job with our rehearsal the day prior making sure everyone was on the same page. The day of the event, she managed to do so many things all at once it was astounding. She paid close attention to details while also making sure everything was running according to plan and that guests were enjoying their experience. She helped us deal with less-than-ideal weather and was always ready to solve problems with innovative solutions. She was so prepared she even helped me fix a broken strap on my dress after some intense dancing...a true lifesaver! She is amazing at what she does and we couldn't be happier that we hired her for our big day. We couldn't imagine the wedding without her. Thank you Heather! -

Heather helped plan our winter wedding in Montana in February 2022 and she was absolutely wonderful! She coordinated the 'day of' and helped with the design aspect. Two weeks before the wedding there was a floral issue so Heather stepped in and took over some extra duties to ensure everything went smoothly. Heather was so easy to communicate with and created a beautiful design for our ceremony and reception. I can only imagine all the problems she managed during the day, but I never heard about any of them! -

Exceptional! Heather is a must have to help you truly enjoy your day!
I decided to reach out to Heather after postponing our destination wedding due to covid. At the time we had most of our plans set, but I wanted a little help, being it was destination, to make sure things ran soother. We hired Heather as a "day of coordinator." From the first phone call, to the countless emails and messages I sent her leading up to the day, Heather was very helpful and professional. She truly cares about you and makes sure your day goes as smooth as possible. I really was able to relax and fully enjoy my day because Heather made sure all was well. If there was anything that went wrong with our wedding-- I'll never know because Heather handled it!
Traveling on our way home from our destination my husband and I talked about how much we appreciated her services and how happy we were to have her. She even took some photos of us when my photographer was done but the sunset was so perfect! She made sure we had the time of our lives and we could never thank her enough! Time is so valuable- and something you will never get back, Heather handles all the things a Bride & Groom shouldn't have to, so you can truly take in every moment of your special day. -

Heather (Carefree Concierge) made the six months leading up to my wedding feel like a breeze. I was fortunate enough to have a destination wedding to Big Sky and I found Heather right before my menu tasting. She met me at our venue and we discussed my vision for the wedding. I knew she was the perfect fit--she was organized, took notes and listened to everything I said. Once hired we talked via email, phone and even got to meet in person when I made my next trip out. She is so on top of things and thinks about every detail (things I never would ever have thought about)! She made the planning process fun and easy and seriously my wedding would NOT have been the same without her. She made it my dream wedding and it was exactly what I wanted. She was so helpful with communication with vendors and contracts, I never had to worry. If I was located in Bozeman I would have her plan all of my events haha. I had a 100+ person wedding on July 4, 2020 (yes, during COVID) in Big Sky. We contracted with Heather at Carefree Concierge for partial planning services in July 2019 for a 150-200 person wedding in Big Sky, Montana. We hired Heather to be our "boots on the ground" in Montana but she ended up being so much more than that. She navigated us through a difficult venue negotiation and eventual transition to a new venue in October 2019 and then to our surprise, through an even harder phase of planning and executing our wedding during the pandemic. Heather was our ally throughout the entire process and was even more essential as she kept up with the changes during COVID. Her experience and relationships with vendors proved even more valuable during this time because changes/pricing/contracts signed before the pandemic are not always the easiest subjects to talk about. No matter what was happening, we always felt better after we talked to her as she always kept a cool head and kept organized. She was proactive and, at our request, would consistently use her judgment to predict our needs and solve our problems. She tailors her services to how much freedom you want to give her on decisions because she does not want you to be uncomfortable. We shopped the Bozeman/greater Montana planner market extensively and Carefree Concierge stuck out to us because she was (1) extremely responsive to emails/texts/calls, (2) flexible (she doesn't nickel and dime you for services as it appeared some other area shops do, they're also so flexible with call times/meeting times/etc.) and (3) personal (you feel like you are heronly client although you definitely are not). Heather at Carefree Concierge is the total package and a true advocate for her brides. I cannot recommend this business enough. -

You need Heather on your team. She listens to you and then MAKES. IT. HAPPEN. As a type A person myself, she was consistently, gently reminding me that my one job for the wedding day was to *enjoy*. And boy, did she deliver. If there were any issues on the day or leading up to it, I still don't know about them and the day itself was perfect and flawless. Bonus: Heather is also a really fun, upbeat and passionate person to be around. Well worth the money, which, her rates are so affordable! I'm still in awe that we were able to hire such a perfect planner to help us! -

We can't talk enough about how much we valued Heather as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding on September 28th, 2019 at the Union Pacific Dining Lodge in West Yellowstone. Not only did she have the personality and drive that was needed for a wedding featuring a bi-coastal wedding but she also could keep with up with and completely ease the mind of a anxiety ridden Bride like myself.
With the day - of - coordination package she helped manage all of our vendors (and we had 12!), created a schedule for the day, facilitated the layout of tables and gave me an opinion on many aspects of our ceremony, rehearsal dinner and reception.
And for the day of the wedding, I definitely felt at ease knowing Heather had everything under control. I would recommend her again and will be looking her up for our vow renewals in 10 years -

Living in another state, it was important to me to have someone familiar with local vendors and the local community to help us plan. Heather did not disappoint with her quality, timeliness, friendliness, and willingness to help and guide us. She went above and beyond - from finding vendors, to providing input on design, to setting up and running the most beautiful reception, to, finally, leading our guests through a line dance none of us knew (it was really fun!!). I highly recommend Carefree Concierge!
