In order to cut costs, we created our own invitations and RSVPs. CardsAndPockets.com was a very simple website to use. They have templates you can use to create your invites along with a wide variety of invite styles, card stock, card stock colors, font styles and font colors to chose from, as well as a good selection of accessories such as bands and emblems for pocket invitations. We did a single pocket with the invitation and an RSVP card with information on the front and back of the card. We order 75 of everything (envelopes, pockets, invitations, RSVPs, RSVP envelopes, bands, emblems, and 2 boxes of sticky glue strips). We saved hundreds of dollars by doing ourselves and everyone thought they were professionally done. I highly recommend this site if you are trying to find places to cut corners so you can have extra budget for things like the DJ and Photographer. -

I've used cards and pockets a couple years back for a 50th Birthday invitation and I was really, really impressed with their quality and shipping times. The pockets and matts that I had ordered were really nice thick quality, nice weight and feel to them, really easy to assemble. Save yourself the extra $$ and take the couple hours to do them yourself, a few every night while watching your favorite show...not rocket science at all. :)
I look forward to using the print your own design option this time around. -

Fast shipping, good customer service, nice quality AND great value. Will definitely order from this company again and will definitely recommend to friends and family. Everything we ordered was perfect for our DIY invitations, a lot of our guests thought they were custom ordered. -

I love all the options Cards and Pockets has to offer! I could not find a design I loved on an invitation website and when I came across cardsandpockets.com I asked for a sample to see if I could print on the smaller pieces of paper on my home printer. I was very successful on printing the invites at home and quickly jumped to order the invites from them! Thanks! -

I explored several options locally however printing costs were through the roof! Some quick Google searching led me to CardsandPockets.com and we were beyond thrilled with how our invites turned out!
I did the design myself, and their team was great about updating files. We got a printed proof and paper samples, which really put my Type-A nerves at ease. I would suggest building in some extra time to get the proof. We reviewed samples early on, but the proof took about an extra week that I had not accounted for. All of that being said, the print job was FANTASTIC and I would recommend them to any of my friends.
Also, I did assemble them myself - gluing down the invite to a backing and then to the invite itself. It probably took me about 2-3 hours, but was extremely easy. I used the glue they sell. One bottle is plenty for 80 invitations. -

After searching and searching for the right invitation, I finally found that I could design my own VERY easily at cardandpockets.com! They provide easy to use google docs templates for each of their pocketfold types, and they'll even print and cut your custom invitations for a VERY reasonable price! I ended up getting beautiful 4 piece invites in pocketfolds with all the appropriate inner, outer and response envelopes in just the right colors, and saved several hundred dollars on invitations to boot! (and this in comparison to the simplest flat card and response card only type invites!) I even ended up ordering some coordinating cardstock as well for use in my decorations. Super easy!
Highly recommended for any paper needs! -

I decided I wanted to not only save money, but create my invitations myself. I CANNOT believe how easy it was to get everything I wanted/needed at cardsandpockets.com, at more than reasonable prices. I ordered samples first, which shipped free, and was blow away. The quality of the papers is outstanding, and they shipped quickly, and were packaged nicely so no damage was done. They have templates for free to help you print, and everything goes together so nicely, but you still have the option to mix and match to get your perfect invitation! -

I bought the fixings to make my own wedding invitations, the website is very user friendly, payment process was easy and my items arrived quickly. The colour, quality and designs of my items were high quality, easy to work with and the result was very high end handmade invites for half the price. I definitely recommend cards and pockets.com!

This was a great way for us to save money and really create the invitations that we wanted to have. The colors were matched to our colors almost exactly and the quality of the product was worth every penny. If you like to be crafty and are a do-it-yourself person you can make this experience almost completely your own...or they can do it all for you! Great company, very responsive, we had the wrong color shipped at first and they were very prompt with fixing the order. -

The ordering process was easy and I received the paper and envelopes quickly. I received a ton of compliments on the invitations I created using their products. Fantastic!!! -

I ordered all of the materials to make my invitations though cardsandpockets.com.
I designed my own invitation and RSVP card and sent it to their print shop who printed and packaged the items for me.
The whole process was easy and streamlined the assembly lime process for putting the invitations together.
This company enabled me to have beautiful, elaborate, professional looking invitations at an incredible price.

I loved working with Cards and Pockets - we got gorgeous wedding invitations for a fraction of the cost of professionally done ones, all because we were willing to provide the layout ourselves. If you know anything about graphic design or working in photoshop, I'd highly recommend making your own invitation design and using Cards and Pockets to print with. -

Amazing! I ended up designing our invites myself and had Cardsandpockets.com print them and ordered the rest of the pieces from them as well. The printing turned out perfect and we saved ourselves about $800-$1000 going this route verses other local companies and we also didn't have to forfeit any of our design. In fact, we were able to get a better match to our colors and few other things added we weren't originally planning to have when we spoke with local companies. Overall, I recommend going this route to anyone!! -

Cards and Pockets are awesome. They are easy to work with and totally affordable. I had them print (I assembled) my pocket invitations. I used their templates to design my invites to the perfect size. The quality of printing is way above other vendors from whom I ordered samples.
Communication with Cards and Pockets was excellent as well. I needed assistance with formatting a file and their team was responsive and ready to help.
So many of my guests commented on how beautiful and professional my invites were. -

Just let me say- I LOVE this company! I am a crafter- a card crafter- and the quality of the products I received was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this company. Other reviews left me a bit uncertain about whether this was a good option but I retract the uncertainty and I think you should too! I ordered 75 of the matte pocket fold invitations, which were true to color, on clearance. and 25 of the Emerald shimmer pocket fold cards which were gorgeous!! My fiance actually picked them out- I will say that I was worried that the emerald would be too green but they weren't. They were a beautiful Teal color which worked perfectly. Let me just say- having made 100 pocketfold invitations from scratch for a friend's wedding- the time and money saved by using this company is immeasurable. The paper is of great quality and if you are looking for a DIY invitation I encourage you to order these as your base. for 100 invitations I spent $75. plus money for ink for printing at home- but you really can't beat that price. -

Cardsandpockets.com was a great website for Do It Yourself wedding invitations. I ordered the pockets from them and had the inside invitation information designed and printed. The pocket invitations are beautiful and are great quality! I received so many compliments on my invitations and it was partly due to the awesome quality of the pockets we ordered. Cardsandpockets.com staff have been very responsive to my questions and they ship your items quick- within about a week and a half of placing my order. I highly recommend them for DIY Brides that want to add some quality invitation pockets to your creativity! -

Hi,
I ordered 75 wedding invitations and I had the company print, cut and mount the invitations for a little less than $350. It did take a while for me to create the file and I had to admit that was hard but ordering samples and emailing the company was really easy. They had really good customer service and the price is really affordable to make it look professional and pretty. I found exactly what I wanted and needed on their website. I had a great time putting the invitations together with my husband. -

Cards and Pockets was wonderful because they let us customize every part of our orders. They will print any image that you create in a program (such as Adobe Illustrator) including photos. They have a wide variety of pocketfolds, envelopes, paper styles, and color choices. We liked the job they did on our Save-the-Dates so much that we returned for our Invitations, Programs, Menus, and Thank You Notes. Our purchases were all very reasonably priced! The staff were super responsive and everything arrived very quickly. Do-it-yourself couples, this is the company for you! -

The best thing about cards and pockets? VALUE! If you're a DIY bride or you just want to have a little more say (and do) in the way your invitations turn out, Cards and Pockets is THE best! All of my sample orders and large orders were processed immediately and arrived in a timely manner. Any questions that I had were replied to within 24 hours, and it seemed that as professional as this company is, everything from it was so personal. I would get personal responses from customer service and all mailed order receipts were signed by the person who had assembled my order.
As with anything having to do with invitations,, I would suggest you order samples of anything before purchasing large amounts of paper! But the quality and value of cardsandpockets can't be beat---believe me! -

I can't say enough how much I loved Cards and Pockets! I did a lot of online research for DIY invitation vendors. While I ended up using someone local for my wedding invitations, I did end up using C&P for my other paper needs for the wedding, including the custom menus I made. Samples came quickly and were excellent. Any time I had a question, I got a prompt response from Customer Service. Plus, they now have some DIY templates to make it even easier! I used both their cardstock and print shop and found the pricing very affordable too. Highly recommend. -

Making my own wedding invitations was the best idea I had to save money. If you're creative and you don't mind DIY projects I would 100% do this. I had GORGEOUS wedding invitations using their products, but saved SO much money. I spent a little less than $3 an invite compared to what I would have paid over $15 an invite for elsewhere. -

We ordered our invitations through Cards and Pockets and couldn't be happier!! We did have a little hiccup at first, they were sent to the wrong address, but I strongly believe that was not Cards and Pockets fault. I called them and they were very responsive and fast with our new shipment. We received them within 3 days of the reorder. They were truly beautiful and great quality!! We did print our own design on ours, but the quality of the cardstock was so great. We were very pleased with them in the end. We are still hearing how beautiful they were from family and friends. You were a great choice for us, so thank you for having amazing products and service. -

WE DIY the printing ourselves and ordered the paper from Cards and Pockets. I was so happy with the quality of paper and value. The company also shipped our order so quickly! Everyone loved the invitations and I was absolutely so impressed by cards and pockets. -

Cards & Pockets was awesome!! I even contacted a couple times with questions and received a (NOT GENERATED) real email back from someone right away! I ordered a few samples because we couldn't quite tell the color from the website. We absolutely loved how the invitations turned out-we used the tri-fold and the belly bands in our wedding colors and it was beautiful. I would definitely recommend them. -

They were a bit on the pricey side, and their product took a while to arrive, but upon arrival, the quality was spectacular! We did have a small issue with a batch of the envelopes but they credited our money immediately without any hesistation. -

CardsAndPockets.com is an online store that sells the paper for invitations. We ordered the paper from them because they sold high quality paper for the most affordable price. It arrived within 2 weeks of me ordering them online. I printed my invitations from home and put them together at home to save myself some money. Their products are so easy to use and put together. For 250 invitations, I only spent about $450, including printing. -

I took on the bold idea of creating my invitations myself. All supplies were ordered from cards and pockets to complete the task of about 100 invites. All supplies ordered from CardsandPockets is top of the line quality material. I wouldn’t have changed this decision of making them myself for the world. It was fun and I had a team of 10 people helping for them to turn out exactly like I wanted. -

We assembled our own invitations, and designed them. But we got all of the materials from CardsandPockets.com, and had them print and cut all of the inserts. Overall, great price, and WONDERFUL product. I ordered a lot of samples from online companies, and this was by far the best quality for the price. We also orderd almost all of our stationary products from them, and they were always super responsive with questions, etc. Great experience. -

This was a great place to get our DIY invitations and to save money on them. The envelopes, paper, card stock etc. were all of great quality and nicer looking than the pictures suggested. We received the order in a very short time and everything was very easy to put together. Putting everything together was a bit time consuming, but that was because we chose an elaborate invitation layout and not because Cards and Pockets made it difficult.
If you go the DIY route, I suggest using Aleene's Tacky Glue or Mod Podge glue. As these both worked the best at keeping both paper and card stock adhered to the invitation without leaving glue bubbles on the paper. -

Another bride mentioned cardsandpockets.com on the forum and I am so glad they did - they saved us almost $400 from what we had originally planned on spending and I got a lot more bang for my buck.
The paper quality is decent. The only thing that I didn't like was the paper stock for the inserts. I ended up ordering a linen paper from another source that has a much nicer feel to it.
I placed my order on Sunday evening and had them in hand by Wednesday afternoon. I am thrilled and grateful! -

I bought all of my DIY invitation supplies from cards and pockets. Total cost was under $200 for 100 invitations. There shipping is quick and customer service is very responsive. I do recommend buying early and getting the card stock samples so there are no surprises. I ended up with a bunch of card stock for escort cards, programs, and thank you cards too. I highly recommend them if you want pocketfold invitations for cheap. We got so many compliments on our invitations so even though it is a lot of work I say its worth it! -

I ordered a do-it-yourself kit (basically). Ordered the pockets, inserts, and envelopes. They definitely turned out great! The pre cut pieces were perfect.
The only issues I had are the bands for around pockets weren't the color portrayed on the site (I ordered yellow and it was a lot more muted than I thought it would be), and they only have a limited sizing for the inserts. If you are going to do the layered look, make sure you are ready to cut some paper.
Great value for the cost and it was so much better to spend 220.00 on beautiful invitations verses the almost 1000 that they would have cost me! -

Cards and pockets is just what I needed to make my own invitations. They are reasonable priced and have a wide variety of colors to choose form. They even have coordinating envelopes for the invitation and RSVP cards (which I am in the process of returning because they didn't send me the color I ordered). They even have a service where they will print your invitations for you, although I did not use it, so I don't know how much it costs. You can order sample colors with free shipping (swatches, pocket cards and envelopes). Shipping was not the fastest, it took almost 2 weeks to get the things I ordered. I would recommend this product/company to a do-it-yourselfer. -

I had to hand make all of our invitations due to the variety of events/guests lists our wedding had. I used the pockets from CardsandPockets.com. Everyone raved at how beautiful they were. I was able to coordinate the pocket as well as the envelope and the belly band. Had printing the invitations with them been cheaper, I would have done that. But the value of what I did get from them was astounding. They also did a quick turn around when I needed to order more. -

The Staff @ Card&Pockets was able to assist me in every way.
We decided to design our own Invitations in Illustrator and utilize C&P's printing services. They were able to assist me with getting the details correct, to make the best prints.
We were pleased with the papers we selected and the quality of the digital printing. I would use them again for future events. -

I bought all my pocket fold invites from this site, I wanted a DIY invite.. My only complaint was that no place would print on the pre cut paper which they never said anything to me about it... Otherwise the pocket folds were affordable , cheapest one I could find and were of great quality -

Really great invitations. I had some trouble with the staff when I was trying to figure out the dimensions for the file for the type of print that I wanted, but in the end it worked out okay. I just had to spend a lot of time reading a pamphlet instead of someone just telling me "make it 1/4" larger on all sides". But hey, they are beautiful! The final product was excellent, and when paired with some DIY belly bands and mounts the cost was reasonable. -

the paper quality was great and very affordable. however, DIY/print at home marketing is a lie. unless you have a very special printer at home, expect many paper jams. i ended up not using the pre-cut invitation paper and instead used less textured 8.5x11 and cut it to size. -

I ordered the paper for our wedding invitations from this website. Quality of the paper is very good and prices are the best I was able to find after lots of searching. I did NOT want to print myself, and was disappointed to find out that the cardstock they send you is meant for a deskjet printer, not the types of printers used at a place like fedex or other print shops. Had to purchase all new cardstock for this reason. Also, if you want to have this vendor print for you, there are gruelingly complicated formatting rules you have to following before they'll run a test print and after 3 tries by my Mom and I who are fairly skilled in publishing programs, we still couldn't get it to meet their expectations. So just beware! -
