My Wedding Live Painting
I always knew that I wanted to live painter to capture my wedding day and when I came across Daniel's profile I fell in love with his work. He was very responsive and helped answer all my questions and suggested the best canvas fit for our needs. He was also very flexible and accommodating. I reached out to him for availability rather late, but he still agreed to paint for us even though he had another event before ours, and he was on time. He even took the painting back to our studio for finishing touches, and offered convenient pick up options. The end result was beautiful and we will forever cherish it. He captured us perfectly. Highly Recommend for Wedding
Dan was very professional and we absolutely loved the painting he did at our wedding. He had a meeting with us to discuss all the points and people we requested to include in the painting. All the guests found it very interesting to come back to and see the final look. It arrived very quickly. Along with this he was very cost competitive compared to others. Best Surprise Ever!
Words cannot express how grateful my husband and I are that Dan was able to capture our wedding ceremony so perfectly! My coworkers surprised us with this as our wedding gift and we cannot express how happy we were with the outcome. Dan worked with my team behind the scenes to gather information. He took a picture of us at our ceremony and was then able to turn it into the most amazing painting. He even brought a card from my coworkers to the event and surprised us when we walked into the ballroom. This is something that we will remember and appreciate forever. Thank you so much! -

Something all my guests will remember
Right after we got engaged and booked our wedding venue, Daniel was the first vendor that we booked. I did not want to take any chances of not having him paint our first dance at our wedding. As soon as I spoke with Daniel on the phone I felt comfortable with the process and he took notes in detail with what we wanted in the painting.
When we first saw him painting the layout of the room we couldn’t wait to see the end results! Everyone at the wedding was blown away and kept going back to see his progress. It not only served as a bit of unique entertainment for the wedding guests but is a keepsake that will be displayed in our home forever. I would highly recommend Daniel to paint at anybody’s event! -

Words cannot even begin to express our gratitude, and immense joy my husband I have for Captures on Canvas and Daniel. He responded quickly, efficiently, a pleasure and easy to work with, but most of all, he listens.
My husband and I had a clear image in our head of what we wanted, but not sure entirely how to capture it, and with Daniel's professional input and insight, our product came out to be beyond what we ever could have imagined.

Amazing quality Art!!
I had done some research on a live artist for a while and decided to settle on Daniel because of the way his paintings captured each moment and all the details in a day. when I first emailed him we had set up a phone call and he was ready for all our questions. He was always available for questions. The day of the wedding he arrived and set up his station and started to work. Everyone I talked to loved the painting and how amazing he was to be able to capture so much detail at The Tides with not much time. He is truly amazing and great to work with! Daniel is the NICEST vendor we worked with on our wedding day and his work is incredible. We have had so many people say that it was one of the coolest things they have ever seen at a wedding. Daniel did such a beautiful job capturing our first dance on canvas with our family looking on. From the time we booked Daniel to our wedding day, our family grew a bit and we had to add a few others to the picture, including my month old nephew. Daniel without hesitation agreed although it was quite a few people to begin with. He was very easy to work with and was there the whole time painting. Even made a point to specially wrapped the painting at the end of the night and hand it off to our designated person to take home. It was amazing to watch his progress throughout the night. Anyone looking for something unique to have at their wedding, I highly recommend hiring Daniel to live paint. -

I recently got married 10/9/22 and decided I wanted a live event artist a little late. I was unable to find one until my maid of honor reached out to Daniel. Even though he had a lot of events booked he made time for us and I was so happy. By far my absolute favorite vendor and part of my wedding day! From start (emailing with Daniel and phone conversations a year before my wedding) to finish, Daniel was an absolute pleasure to work with. So professional, kind, and incredible at this work. ALL of my guests were raving about him throughout the reception and many of them said they wanted to book him themselves! It was so fun to watch my first dance come alive in his painting and it was SO realistic and on point. With the help of my planner we hired Daniel as a gift for my husband and it was absolutely worth it! His talent is incredible! Dan is so amazingly talented! After doing some research I fell in love with his work and knew we had to have him at our wedding to capture this amazing moment in our lives. We asked that he paint us during our first dance, and so he took pictures of us on his iPad to work from and reference throughout the night. My guests were amazed at the level of detail that he was able to portray in such a short amount of time. He even added in a surprise detail on one of the reception tables of my husbands favorite bourbon bottle (at my dads request) which he loved! We couldn’t wait to hang the painting in our home. My fiancé and I wanted a budget wedding that would also be amaze our guests! I was planning for about 2.5 years and thought I had everything I needed. About a month before my wedding, I found out about live painters and did not know if we would have the money to get one. My fiancé decided to let me splurge on this one thing and it was the best decision we made! Dan was surprisingly available on our wedding date and with very short notice was able to get all the details he needed for our day. Dan was the only vendor I did not have to worry about - he was already there when my husband and I walked in for our first dance and stayed until the painting was finished. Our guests were extremely impressed and a couple of people said they will definitely use a live painter for their children's weddings. We had the painting framed by Michaels and currently have it up in our living room. Instead of a photo booth - go with a live painter, especially Dan! You will not be sorry! -

Let me just start by saying, Thank You so much Daniel. Your work, your commitment and dedication stands out above the rest. I want to thank Daniel Angeli so much for the work he did for my Wedding. I got married on 09/20/19 and he did an amazing job recreating my first dance with my beautiful bride. I first contacted Daniel in 2018 interested in hiring him for my wedding. I wanted to surprise my Wife and boy was she surprised. As soon as she saw him working on the painting when we walked into the main Reception Hall she started crying. Happy tears of course. Throughout the whole process Daniel Angeli was a gentleman. He answered all my questions quick and right to the point and made sure to always have his line of communication open if I had to speak with him. He arrived early at the venue, which was Surf Club in New Rochelle and worked magic. My guest were able to drink and dance the night away as well as watch him work and talk to him and laugh. I was in a search for something unique and vintage for our wedding. After doing some intense research I found out that we could have a live painter at our wedding. I knew that we needed to have a painter come to our wedding and paint our first dance. I found many amazing live painters but Captured on Canvas by Daniel Angeli really caught my interest. I emailed him right away and he got back to me extremely fast. After that it was history. I booked him right there! We spoke briefly on the phone so that we could learn more about his work and for him to learn more about us. We finally met him on the wedding day. I saw him already painting the reception area before the ceremony even started! It was amazing! Before our wedding was over, I did look at his work and I was amazed how well he painted me and my husband. It looks just like us! I was amazed how he could work with loud noise and people constantly going to him and watching him. Daniel is the man! He is a super friendly guy and he spoke with everyone who approached him. Family members and friends were fascinated by him and his work since they couldn’t believe that live painting is a thing! Now they are all interested in having this done one day for themselves! Not only is he an extremely talented artist, he is also professional, polite and an all around pleasure. Having him paint throughout the reception added that extra special detail I was looking for. Thank you Dan for your talent and passion creating something the bride and groom will treasure forever. We can’t wait to see the finished portrait!

Ashley Sent on 08/21/2018i can not say enough amazing things! i was very stressed the day of my wedding about not being able to have my ceremony outside but he made it possible to still have my painting be of the outside. his personallity was so nice and made both me and my husband feel less upset about it not being outside. my guests went on and on raving how amazing he was! thank you so so much dan! we LOVE our painting!

He was always attentive to my messages and requests. He did a lovely job & did not take up much space in our venue. Our guests were definitely intrigued! Overall he is a unique gem of talent you won’t regret bringing to your wedding day!! I was pleasantly surprised about how much the painting looked like us & our loved ones. We are so happy that we chose to have him at our wedding, the guests won't stop talking about how amazing it was to watch his painting transform throughout the night! We love the final product and it is hanging in our living room...he did an amazing job illustrating the colors and setting of the night as well as capturing our faces in the moment! He arrived before the event and stayed until the very end, his dedication and professionalism throughout the whole process was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Daniel, great person and great artist!!
