Great Experience

My husband and I really enjoyed their work. We definitely felt that Captured Moments Photography went above and beyond what we wanted. Captured Moments Photography did our engagement and wedding photos and we had a great time working with them. Definitely would recommend!

My daughter’s photos turned out beautifully. Kristen and Roland were very easy to work with. I appreciated so much how their goal was to make the day about the bride and groom and what they wanted. Excellent all around service

My daughter's pictures were amazing capturing all important moments. We purchased four of the books and they were awesome. They will keep forever showing generations the special day. I would highly recommend doing this! We could not have asked for better all around service.

Above and beyond expectations

They worked really well together in a team effort. They were very easy to get along with and they respected everyone in the family. They were not pushy and but also made recommendations for perfect photo opportunities. This was last year for our wedding. Made many great memories.

A Godsend of Photographers.

This is the groom writing this so that in itself should carry some weight. I’m not really good with pictures or getting my picture taken. These photographers helped eliminate the awkwardness and my hesitance for getting in front of the Camera. They are very polite and actually listen and take suggestions extremely well. They ask questions to help loosen you up and take the time to listen to you as well. Their level of dedication to capturing a shot is tremendous. One of them even hopped in the lake to get a good photo. They are efficient and extremely flexible. They got to know us so well that if they were to even sneak in with the family photo, we wouldn’t have noticed.

A Great Choice!

Kristen and Roland did an amazing job at making photos an easy part of our wedding day! They made sure that we got all of the shots we wanted and also got many candid shots throughout the day. They were very easy to get along with and easy to coordinate all the details with. A great choice for your big day, I would recommend them to anyone!

Great photographer

So many beautiful and fun photos it was hard to limit my selection for just one album. Kristen was so patient and helpful though out the entire process. She made the effort to get to know us and set up some special photo ops that commemorated our story and special day. Kristen and her husband fit into our wedding and reception like they were long time friends of the family. I met Kristen at a bridal show and she actually remembered me. She truly enjoys what she does and I'm so glad that I selected her as my photographer.

Couldn't be happier!!

Captured Moments Photography was AMAZING!!!! Not only did she work with me living over two hours away from our ceremony site, but was willing to reschedule her own life events to make sure to meet with me and my husband when we were able to make it into her area! She was wonderful with not just our wedding part but EVERYONE that come as a guest as well! I could never happier with a photographer than I was with my experience with Captured Moments Photography!

Such A Fun Experience!

Working with Captured Moments was such a great experience! Kristen kept things fun and light and made us feel very comfortable. Both of us were a bit nervous at first about our engagement photos, worried we wouldn’t know how to pose and such. She helped us feel very comfortable and made it a great experience. The photos were beautiful, just what we wanted. We definitely recommend this photographer!

Kristen shot our engagement session and our wedding photos. My husband and I planned a very small wedding at our home. Most photographers didn't have plans or packages flexible enough to meet our needs, but Captured Moments Photography did. Not only did Kristen help us personalize a package, but she made my partner who avoids cameras at all costs comfortable in front of a lens (even if she did so by plying him with beer). I can't wait to work with Kristen from Captured Moments Photography for our next big mile stone. Her work is beautiful and she captured our family perfectly. Kristen and Roland were amazing to work with. From our engagement pictures to our entire wedding day everything was great! They were very flexible with our contingency weather plans. We went in with a game plan and some ideas of pictures we already wanted. Kristen was amazing at helping us build on the ideas that we already had. The pictures turned out absolutely amazing despite all the rain!! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer !!

Back Story first! My husband and I wanted to book Kristen for our wedding, but managed to lose out to someone an hour faster than us, so we booked someone small and local. We waited forever with no idea when to expect our pictures because she was not good at responding to emails, texts, or phone calls, and we were incredibly disappointed with the quality and the number of images and then when we asked to just have all the images even the unedited ones the photographer said she had deleted them - our wedding pictures! I don't have a picture of my dad walking me down the isle! We decided that we really did need to have at least 1 picture we could cherish and I contacted Kristen again. We rented the grooms suit and tie (Kind and heart felt words for Celebrations of the Heart who also helped us out with the re doing of pictures!) and I got my dress out of the box and I'm so glad we did! Not only did she take fantastic images, she took more than we got from an entire afternoon with someone else. She let us know when to expect images, she had options for sharing and ordering, and she stayed in contact. You have no idea how important that is until you had someone do none of these things! She had teaser pictures online the NEXT day, and they blew our minds. I showed my mother in law and we were both in tears, over the quality of 4 pictures. I can not express how much you would appreciate a quality photo of anything you can not re create. Thank you Kristen for going above and beyond for us, while the dress and the pictures are not the foundation of our Marriage it sure is nice to to be able to have lovely pictures to share with our family and remember what a wonderful day that day was - even if the pictures were a few months later!

Kristen did a great job of photographing my small wedding. I was looking for a high quality photographer that would work within my budget and I certainly found that. She was very flexible and came up with some very nice concepts, and also made sure to get many candid shots of not only me and the groom, but of family, friends and attendees. So I have a great portfolio of images to look back fondly upon.

If you're looking for a great wedding photographer at a great price then look no further than Captured Moments Photography. Kristen is a great photographer, easy to work with, very flexible, and creates beautiful, memorable photos. She did the photos for our wedding in December and I couldn't be happier! I was planning my wedding from another state and it was very easy working with her via email. She was even able to squeeze in our engagement session while we were visiting other vendors in Manhattan! We had one or two unusual requests and she worked with us to make them happen! She also brings along another photographer the day of the wedding so you can capture separate moments simultaneously (e.g. bride getting ready in one location, groom getting ready in a second location).All of the pictures were beautiful and returned in a very reasonable time frame. On top of all that, the pricing was extremely reasonable, so I highly recommend Captured Moments Photography for all of your photography needs!

Kristen and Rolan did an amazing job with our engagement/wedding photography! They were open to our ideas and provided us with some great locations to take photos after our ceremony. We knew we would be short on time after our ceremony to get pictures inside the church, and Kristen and Rolan made sure the equipment was set up, ready to go, and were very efficient getting all of the pictures we wanted done in a timely manner! They were also incredibly flexible during our reception to make sure we had all the photos done that we wanted, in addition to getting some great candid shots of the reception! I had a very small wedding at the courthouse in Manhattan, KS. I didn't give her very much advanced notice and I was still able to meet her prior to the wedding and see some of her work. She was enthusiastic and worked very well with us because we didn't really know what we wanted. She took pictures before, during and after the ceremony and I'm still absolutely in love with all of them. The weather was projected to be bad that day and she suggested several different indoor places that would have worked since we had no idea and were both new to the area (lucky the weather ended up being very nice with just a few sprinkles). The photos were all given to us digitally in a very timely manner and she told us to just let her know if we ever wanted any additional edits. I was very impressed and will definitely use her services again in the future if I need them.

Kristen did a wonderful job! She was able to fit us in on a short timeline and the results were stunning. Our interests and style were taken into consideration for photo locations and the wedding theme. The "captured moments" were everything I had hoped for!! Pricing was the best I've found; upfront and honest. Would recommend to anyone!!

Simply the best! Kristen met with me multiple times before the wedding to discuss the plan for the wedding day. We had a great plan and she was incredibly flexible when the weather ruined all the plans! She let me get all the photos that I wanted and had great ideas for settings and poses. Great turn around time with the photos and even offered to do custom editing ( not that they needed it). Simply the best! I look forward to using her for all other events!

Captured Moments was great to work with. They were very reasonably priced, flexible (we had a ceremony in another city before the big ceremony with friends, and they came out and did that ceremony and I think it only cost another $60 to go an hour away!) They provided a very unstressful service that can be extremely stressful if you go to the wrong company. I loved the whole process of working with them! I would absolutely go right back to them again!

I cannot say enough about Kristen and Captured Moments Photography!! She agreed to photograph my daughter's wedding with only 1 week's notice and she was awesome! Very affordable and even though we had her tromping around in the rain, the pictures she took are absolutely beautiful! Would not hesitate for one second to use her in the future.

Rolan and Kristen are an awesome husband and wife team who are creative, professional and friendly. The plus to all of that is that the photos are OUTSTANDING! I was more than pleased. I highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking very elegant, professional photos.

Rolan & Kristen are great photographers and a great couple. My husband and I got married on June 09, 2012, after the wedding we were both busy. It wasn't until a year later that we were able to get back together with Kristen and go through the pictures. Over a cup of coffee my husband and I were amazed at the quality of the pictures, and looking over everything brought back GREAT memories! Even though it took a LONG time to get back together and go over everything. We had kept in touch with Kristen, she understood our situation and at anytime we contacted her to update what we had wanted to be done to our album she was responsive and even gave good feedback that lead to other unique ideas and layouts that we put together. Kristen was very professional on how she handled us, even though it took us a while to come together with everything. The price was reasonable, though our original packet and layout we had chose at first wasn't being made Kristen was able to look over everything and still provide what we wanted. We are happy that we went with Kristen, her work is AMAZING. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to get together to plan and have family photos done with our newborn before our move.
Thank you Rolan & Kristen for your work, because of the two of you capturing moments of our once in a lifetime experience. Were now able to cherish our special day and share with our family for years to come.

We took a few weeks to shop around and could not have been happier with the service we got. Photos were perfect, Professionalism was top notch, and the end product was perfect. One of the photographers even took the time to help out with one of the groomsmens pants that were too short. Great people and great service. I highly recommend. You will not be sorry.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Captured Moments Photography! They were so great to work with, very accommodating and provided so many wonderful photos I don't know how I'll ever choose! I loved the fact that both Kristen and Rolan had cameras so we were able to get the typical wedding photos, but also many candid shots that were taken behind the scenes! I couldn't be happier with the service and the prices are outstanding. Engagement photos are included in many packages as well. In my case this was great because my daughter was able to get comfortable with Kristen at the engagement pictures so when it came time for wedding pictures there wasn't a whole bunch of shyness. If you get the opportunity, call and talk to Kristen about working with you.....she is outstanding!

Captured Moments was the photographer for my cousin's wedding in Kansas that I was a bridesmaid in. They were really fun to work with and the pictures turned out great! After the wedding she worked with me and I was able to get a beautiful photo album for a reasonable price. I just wished they lived closer to Wyoming so I could recommend them to my friends!

The photographers were awesome to work with and personable. I was very happy with the pictures and was able to view them within 6 weeks of my wedding date. We went to many locations and all of my wedding party had a great time with the photographers.

From the very beginning, Kristen was very flexible with meeting times/days. She always replied to emails or voice mails within the same day. Our engagement shoot had be rescheduled a couple times due to "Kansas weather" and she was more than willing to share local photogenic areas as suggestions. On our wedding day her and Roland were able to get all the important shots of the day. They both listened to our wishes and even got us out of our reception for some pictures during the best light conditions. We did luck out with having perfect weather too. I would highly recommend Captured Moments to anyone who does not want to get stuck with lots of package deals. Kristen has been very generous with letting us decide after we view our gallery if we want to add on albums or additional prints. There has never been a time that we felt pressured or under served. All in all - I give them an A+!

It was wonderful!

Kristen and Rolan are great people to work with and the quality of images are great. They photographed the wedding party at the outdoor site prior to the guest arriving. I should have allowed a little more time for this as their personalities are easy going not pushy or brisk which makes it relaxed and fun takes a bit longer. They shot the last minute dressing up, the wedding party previous to the ceremony, the outdoor ceremony, went on the party bus to take more shots, then also photographed the whole evening reception dinner and dance. As I told them after seeing the album the initially posted on the internet their business is appropriately named. As I looked through their work "Captured Moments" summed up a lot of their shots that day. Very nice people and very nice photos! They have been really great thought the editing process too! I would never hesitate to call them again. They seemed to enjoy themselves and that showed in the photos.

Kristin worked us in at the last minute so we could get our picture to the Mercury by Wednesday. She took many photos and selected the best to put on a CD, cropping the one we chose for the newspaper. She had several backgrounds to choose from. The service and the prices were excellent.

They were nice and easy to work with. We weren't disappointed til we got pictures back. Lighting with all formal pictures in church was awful with glares and shadows. Didn't have any good professional looking photos of the bride and groom facing camera.
